Signed up and was told transfer from horizon would be paid less. I signed all paperwork and was told I was going to get a phone before I left the store. Then after I transferred number and signed everything they told me they were out of phones but I was to get one in two days. 12 days later nothing. I went into store and they said they had no phones and all the paperwork I dis meant nothing and since promo wasn't available anymore I needed to now but the phones outright and monthly bill went up 55 dollars a month. Don't know how this could be happening since they lied and I signed contracts. Then the dumbasses don't end up canceling Verizon like they said so I was paying now 140$ more a month then if I would have just stuck with Verizon. Which i totally regret because Verizon customer service is a ton better. They must not hire Walmart greeters like ATT does. It has been 27 days now and my wife still has ent received her phone that they said they had after all this. We picked different phones and still nothing for anyone Att. Switching service again. Hope everyone does. Let Att get what they deserve
Due to lack of maintenance on the wired home service, we said enough. After 45 yrs of a hard line phone service and poor TO NO service at times. The rates have gone up to $65 per month for Basic service.
We live along the Gulf coast and for years we relied on this hard line during hurricanes and other network outages. This service has been damaged for many years with unuseable service.
It's really sad that AT&T has failed to maintain this vital communication service.
Their website claims $15/line on international call. I joined the plan and they are asking $1 per minute under the plan... I talked to their agents and also the 'manager'...they say it is their 'policy' and some countries have different tariffs what makes it international plan then?

The are big theft I do trade in they never send me labels to return the old phone I ask many people for this no answer now they double my bill im still trying to return those phone but they said after 30 days you can't return tht phone
I have had to call every month for 6 months for the same billing issue. They have my on the wrong plan and somehow were able to change my 3 childrens lines but not mine and it is messed up every month. I spend hours on the phone and it is never fixed. I would not recommend this company if they can't even solve simple billing issues.
When trading in a phone make sure to record it. This company loves to charge you for the old phone you traded in then act like they didn't receive it. So then they can charge you the cost of that phone. At&t are scumbags acting like they are a professional business. I have more screenshots than this but it has gone on for days contacting them trying to get is resolved. Even said fine at one point told them if they send me my old phone back I'll pay for it too. But I'm not paying for a phone I don't have at all.
We have been customers ever since we had our first cell phone! We raise 6 kids and paid a huge phone bill every month! We r now retired and we still have a huge cell phone bill for just 2 lines. I spoke with a representative today and there was no discount! We have been customers for 20 plus years! This is gonna force me to look elsewhere for service! I just thought it sad that they don't care enough to have plans for older adults that are now in retirement. I'm frustrated and sad!

X days! Waited an hour and 20 minutes to get someone at customer service and they pretended they couldn't hear me and disconnected! Called and cancelled for when my time was up as I was on pre pay; they could hear me then, loud and clear! They're going to lose a lot of business with this 'outage'.
We have been an ATT customer for over 20 years (back when they Cingular). We recently upgraded our phones with a trade in. We pay for 5 lines. Phones were picked up at an ATT store. The gentleman at the store helped us factory reset the trade-in phones and mail them back in. ATT has denied our trade in stating the phones were not unlocked - They don't know how to do that? Now they want us to pay $60 more every month. We are old - we cant afford that. After spending hours upon hours online, and with phone support, and the store... we are out of luck - they don't care one bit. And since their processes take so long, it is past the return date of the new phones. We are jumping ship to Verizon no matter what it costs. ATT does not care about its customers. Avoid them like the plague.
I have been with AT&T for years and everything is fine until you need anything. This time I was just trying to trade in a phone for a new one. I was very clear that I did not want any extra features or add ons. I even referenced my last experience with the AT&T in New city where I was just getting my partner a new phone and was very clear that I wanted the price to stay the same, yet they put me on the most expensive plan.
When I asked why my bill was so high, they said it would go down on the next bill. It wasn't until the 3rd bill that they finally told me that I was on the most expensive plan and that it was my fault for not reading the contract. I had spent an hour with this rep and my only request was that my bill stay the same and they just disregard me, lie about what they are doing for 3 billing cycles, then I can't get a refund because I still 'used the 3 billing cycles of service' and of course all of this is 'policy' so they can't do anything about it.
Back to my most recent experience, this guy seemed very nice and I thought he explained everything clearly, so either he was not trained properly and did not know about these additional fees, or I was lied to again. I understood that my phone needed to be mailed off to do a trade in and that once they had it, it would pay for my phone. Instead, they sign me up for Protect advantage, which I did not ask for, and my phone did not cover the cost of my new phone, like I was told it would, and I am only getting an additional $10 off my bill every month until the credit is gone, which is not the full phones amount.
I am done hearing about policy and technicalities. I will not be purchasing phones from AT&T anymore. If it wasn't for the fact that this issue only happens when I need a new phone I would leave AT&T all together. I hope this is just a case of poorly trained employees, because the alternative is that they make setting up your phone a long and exhausting process just so they can slip as much in as they can and then blame the customer and hie behind 'policy'
South Haven, MI store are the shadiest people you will ever meet! They are rude, treat employees very poorly. And fire there absolute best workers! Bad people stay away if you do not want to be ripped off! Good thing they are under investigation because karma is a ….

She had me on hold for 30 min just to suspend a line and to black list my phone she said she couldn't do it. I asked to speak to the Superviser and he was able to do it right away.
I thought I wasn't happy 2ith my current provider. The many ways I was wrong. I spent almost one hour with someone (Ashley) who kept saying we have to complete the mobile phone service before we can move onto your wireless internet. After an hour or more and numerous steps I was transferred to the internet representative only to find that it wasn't at&t wireless. It was frontier. The worst service in wv. So I called at&t back and after at least another hour of "hold on just a moment longer" was transferred to the at&t main menu. I was reduced to tears when a at&t internet representative came on the line. They transferred me back to the wireless dept that couldn't find a record of an account in my name or number. I had the service with at&t wireless for years before switching to t-mobile. If you want a dependable and competent service don't go with at&t. I have never been so disappointed.
They have terrible customer service. When I moved my phone service to ATT I got a free iphone because they were doing a promo. And then they started charging me for the phone. Now that I have left ATT they are saying that I never had a promo and that I had to pay the full amount of the phone. DO NOT USE ATT, they are rude, they lie, and they are completely unhelpful.

Sounded great. Received the phones and they switched my whole family's #s. I got an I phone instead of my pixel, wife got a Samsung, brother got a pixel and my watch wasn't activated. Spent 4 hours over 3 days trying to get them corrected only to hear I have to take them to a store because they can't authenticate who I am. 5g service was terrible. Dropping calls I. Northern Virginia. Can't wait h the game in HD. I cancel the whole thing and return the phones. 2 months goes by and they try to charge my card $1400 saying I never returned the pixel and I used 1 phone for a day and a half of service. Called and gave them the tracking # and they find the phone but now my card is locked and going to have to get a new one and reset every bill I have on auto pay.

WE HAVE BEEN WITH AT&T FOR YEARS AND RECENTLY PURCHASED NEW PHONES, SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR CERTAIN AMOUNT AND WE WERE TOLD THAT OUR BILL WOULD NOT CHANGE. AFTER A LONG PROCESS GETTING CREDIT FROM OUR OLD PHONES WE FINALLY GOT OUR BILL LEVELED OUT WITH THE CORRECT CONTRACT AMOUNT. AFTER 1 MONTH THE BILL WAS RAISED $50.00 MORE WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. CALLING THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE
WAS NO HELP AT ALL. THEY HAVE PEOPLE WHO DON'T SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH SO EVENTUALLY WE GIVE UP TALKING WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY JUST REPEAT THEMSELVES OVER & OVER. FURTHERMORE, WHEN WE PURCHASED OUR PHONES WE GOT A PRINTOUT SUMMARY OF WHAT WE WERE PURCHASING BUT WHEN IT CAME TO THE BILLING WE HAD 2 MONTHS WHERE THE MONTHLY CHARGE WAS EXTREMELY HIGH- MUCH HIGHER THAN THE ASSOCIATES AT THE STORE INDICATED IT WOULD BE. THEN WE GOT ALL THESE ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE FOR. BOTTOM LINE, THE WAY ATT DEFINES THE BILLING SHOULD BE CALLED FRAUDULENT BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE DETAILS OF THE CONVOLUTED BILLING. WE FEEL LIKE WE ARE BEING SWINDELED BY AT&T AND SOMEBODY SHOULD BRING A LAWSUIT TO AT&T FOR THEIR BILLING PRACTICES.
THIS IS A VERY BAD PROBLEM WITH AT&T AND WE ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT ANOTHER PHONE SERVICE.
We have been with AT&T for years and they have been pretty good in the past but when it comes to upgrading IPHONES the charges are not straight forward. Don't trade your phone in because AT&T local sales and AT&T customer service is very unclear. They have charged us for service we have had for many years including activation fees which make no sense at all. Also, if you trade your old phone in and the new phone does not arrive until a month or so AT&T still charges you at a higher rate even if you're not using the new phone.

We have been with At&T for about 20 years now and I'm really hating them. They are shady af and so dishonest. They add extra things that you never ask for randomly and I'm so fed up with it. How is that even legal? Anytime we do anything at the store, it's never right and we always spend way more than whatever deal they have going. Without your consent, they will add on insurance and the extra upgrade fee of $6. We have been paying monthly installments on my husband's phone that he bought in full last year and the issue still isn't fixed after someone from our local store says they will fix it 3 times now. Then they say it may take 2-3 months to see the credit, just for us to repeat the entire process again every couple months. Omg. They are incompetent! AT&T is such a crappy company, trying to squeeze extra money from people and hoping you don't notice. My friend also just had a random upgrade on her line. She looked at the details and it was an "add-on" that she never asked for. What is going on over there? It's like employees are just out for extra commission or something.
I changed my service provider to ATT, was told that I would get a free phone with a new line. I got the bill 3 weeks later with a 30% mark up on the line and am being charged for the phone. I called customer service to straighten this out. The agent wasn't able to do any changes and am being charged for everything even though the sign up paperwork is different from the bill. I'll be canceling my serving and never go with this company again. DONT DO IT, YOU WILL BE DECEIVED! I bought the phone through Walmart. The sales associate will tell you what you want to hear just to get a sale. ATT customer service won't do anything to fix the problem. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY! Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
