When you trade the phone for a promotion, and if your phone is in good condition, TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS OF IT. I did traded mine and was in perfect condition, not even a scratch. They just gave me $350 for promotion out of 1000, saying phone was damaged when evaluated by 3rd party wendor, but sales rep was surprised how phone in great condition. Now I don't have any proof and have to take $650 loss.
It took 4 sales staff online to help me place an order then 2 days later ATT sent a message that they canceled it. I called in and got transferred 3 times until a saleswoman stated she could put the order in and I could pick it up in the store. All the disclosures she had to read to me all stated the phone would be mailed but she kept telling me that she just had to read this to me and yes I could still pick it up. She lied to me, so unprofessional! I canceled the order. Shame on you ATT.
My Internet went down, so I called customer support. They diagnose issue via online and can figure out what was wrong with my Internet. They said they would send a technician out at their convenient times. I told him I have a normal 9 to 5 job and I can make any of those times if they could make an exception send somebody out and they said they can help me. I asked for a supervisor and the supervisor declined to get on the phone. They said that he would call me back in half hour which he never did. No willingness to help me. Agents are unknowledgeable and rude. I don't recommend AT&T.

Since 2020 they have made me pay for a line that I don't use. I bought an iPad and when the person set it up Somehow it messed up my phone line, (the phone line is my daughter's bday) I will not lose that number., so then I was having issues between those two things.
So then I went and paid off my phone and because of the issue in 2020, I wouldn't be able to upgrade my phone, I worked (at the time an hour away). So I said I would. So stupidly, I went and got a new iPad one that I can use for work, and they decided to add two lines to my account that I didn't even need, and due to working 12-13 hour days I didn't catch it for two months. I keep getting told that their opponent's service isn't as good where I live, so I'm stuck! I don't know what to do!
My phone has a message that "Your phone's not registered on a network, so you can only make emergency calls." My cell phone is supposed to automatically update but it does not. I have ran into this problem before but could manually update the phone then I could use it again. That is not working this time. I called customer service and waited on hold for a long time. After finally being connected to a person, I explained the problem and waited while she was working on the problem (I thought). After a few minutes of silence I was cut off. I still cannot use my phone and apparently no one is interested in helping with the problem.
First of all let me begin saying I've had AT&T over 20 years I have 11 lines and I also have Internet services on November 20. I went to use my phone and was disconnected. I call AT&T exclamation I got from three people was that my bill was $570.66 and because I paid 570 they turned it off for $.66. Unbelievable, I spoke with multiple people management and credit and collections and I was told that because I have a bill due November 3 and it was already disconnected because I did not pay the $.66 they would not be able to turn it back on until I pay the $.66 my 20 years of service With 11 lines. I have multiple services with them. I spoke with someone in cancellation department who transfer me accidentally to the business office? I spoke with someone named Sylvia not only was she amazed and apologetic for their behavior. She rectify the situation. It took me two hours for someone to look directly at the bill, and figure out what happened and to turn my services back on because it was turned off For no reason and they said that I had a balance which was not due to November 23 mind you this happened on November 20 and like I said I spoke to multiple managers who told me there was nothing they can do to turn it on unless I paid the balance that I have which is not due to November 23. This has put a bad bad taste in my mouth. Prior to this two weeks prior to this I just got another Internet service with them. Had I have they done this before I would not. I would've went to Xfinity so after 20 years plus service with AT&T I'm very dissatisfied. Were there any compensation not at all? Nothing offered no apology, or anything had not been for Sylvia in the business office I would've went directly to Verizon took my service over there and ended my relationship with AT&T.
Isiah in Great Falls discussed his oral sex encounters while setting up my account, which it turns out he set up as a business account so he got paid more. 3 yrs later, I'm still trying to get that fixed. Spent 3 days trying to add a line but no help from the AWESOME customer service people. 3 days?!?!?! And Angela N in the Business Department was just the cream of the crop in ineptitude. At least I didn't have to listen to her sexual exploits.
I currently have wireless & internet service & in the process of moving but don't have an actual address for transfer my home internet. Called to place my account on temporary hold until I move & was told I have two options which is place it on vacation mode & pay the monthly fee or continue paying my monthly bill… so in other words I gotta PAY for internet I'm not using. It's really sad that they are allowing this!
Was talking to a lady on the phone about my bill and what I was paying for that made it so high and she was so rude and unhelpful about the whole situation then when I asked to speak to someone else because of her attitude she hung up the phone after going through multiple representatives to help me with my situation. Completely unprofessional and rude. Seems like they don't know to much about how customer service works. Would highly not recommend.

I came to get an iPad and they convinced me to get a phone line ok fine I was thinking of getting one anyway. Then I got an iPad the wrong one was ordered I came the very next day to return it they told me to call the customer service number to do the return to see if they would wave the restocking fee. I called 8 not 1 not 2 not 5 different numbers I CALLED 8 not one person was "the correct department " now next day I come to the store to try and return it and pay the restocking fee now they tell me I can't return it. Without ANY EXPLANATION. I want the correct iPad or cancel my plan.
At&t took money out of my account "auto pay" after I canceled Internet service and auto pay a month after, he apologized and stated they would refund my money back with a gift card, didn't receive had to call back found out he send it to my old address I canceled service from. "all bad" now I have to wait another billing cycle 30 days or more and to top it off they took $55.38 and gift card there sending me only $49.83 bad business never again At&t. I rather spend more money on internet with another provider!

Was looking for a provider with reasonable costs to my bill. I was promised an amount on the phone for my bill and confirmed SEVERAL TIMES how much the bill would be after everything was included. I look into the bill and it was DOUBLE the amount that was said. Then they said they couldn't fix it because I was the one who set everything up online. Even though it was DONE OVER THE PHONE. Do not trust AT&T they are liars and scammers. Spread the word about their deceptive tactics.
I ended up calling a manager to let him know that, I had an appointment at 10am in-store and there were no employees working when I got there. I waited several minutes and customers where piling up outside. Over the phone customer service was somehow EVEN WORSE. How can that be? If you reach a representative get ready to be transfered somewhere you don't wanna go. Try asking for a manager, you'll get even more disappointment and even a few excuses. Where is your accountability to the customer at&crap?
I went to BJ'S a sales rep approach me, he said he could lower my bill. I wanted to get rid of a line he said no bc it would be more expensive than to keep it. I told him I paid only 120 for all 4 lines and could not afford to pay more been a single mother. He said that since my son decided to keep the iPhone on the line it would be only 140 a month. The first 2 bill would be a bit high do to the iPhone. Its been a year and I am steel paying 236.00 a mo. I will be changing companies as soon as I am able. THEY LIE TO THE CONSUMERS TO KEEP THEM IN A CONTRACT. DISAPOINTED I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
At&t is a joke and a rip off! After separating from my wife and wanting to turn her phone in they told me I could either pay the remaining $800 or be stuck paying the bill. They are so money hungry they didn't bother letting me return the phone and canceling one line. I asked to speak with a supervisor. They said they would call me back within two business days. We'll guess what they never called.
AT&T is horrible, if you want the slowest network then choose this line. For the price I am paying I would expect good network but no I get my messages 5-10 minutes later, the network just sucks overall my family and I hate this line we cant wait to switch
I bout a phone from At@T and it was the worst mistake of my life they sell u insuriance for it but if something goes wrong they do not make good on it they lie and tell u its time to upgrade your phone and charge u more money at the end of the day my prepaid phone service is way cheaper and the phone gets better service at te end of the day its a complete ripp off

Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
