“No rewards as they are offered!”

Manuel M.
12/5/23

Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!

“Beware of this company”

chantell j.
12/23/24

Beware of this company. They are not secure in anyway on their MyATT app. Mine got hacked and a double payment was made. One being authorized and another not. They will make you pay for their mistake. They will not correct it either. Their customer service is pathetic. They don't care about their customers they didn't through Covid either. I received a letter in the mail about my information being compromised and that they believed no personal information was stolen but explain to me how an unauthorized payment was made. Done go to T-Mobile for service they are by far AMAZING

Very unprofessional in-home technicians. First tried to cancel, then was thirty minutes late just to get his panties all twisted before he entered my home. Told me completely opposite info then the office. I told him to leave. I will be getting a new internet company.

After deciding to switch from Verizon and go to a note 10 I have it fail in 3_4 months. No charge, no way, I no how! Just defective they say. I leave on 10 day trip where a phone is crucial. TUFF. Say they will ship it to my home, great, I'll be gone for a week after it arrives and it sits outside in rain or snow! No one but 25 miles away to pick it up!
Thanks AT&T. And the fact you can't get any support that can speak understandable English! Big mistake switching to AT&T!

I've been an AT&T customer for approximately two years the service was OK, after carefully reviewing one of my bills I found charges of close to $1000 that should not have been there. I have reached out to AT&T they were not able to fix the issue, so I found a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after filing my complaint, one of the representatives reached out to me they solve the issue, and I assume that everything was OK, a few days later, I received a letter in the mail stating that because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They were now going to cancel my contract and my cell phone account. I am a first responder. I really depend on my cell phone service for communication for work and also with my children and family, anyone who utilize their cell phone service for children, work family anything other than fun? I would not advise you to go with AT&T for if you have an issue with them they will cancel your contract and your account.

The service in this company is absolutely horrendous. Made me and my family go through a lot of extra trouble since no one ever picked up the phone, making us drive to a store close by to stop our service, since we don't want to deal with you people anymore.

Stay Away at ALL Costs! I have had one of their phones for 4 years to use as a spare, but was told I could not unlock now because I have only had it 1 month. (?) During all of this I was given 2 'Case Numbers' but never received any response from either. Although - when I called - I was told both were closed. No one can explain why their data shows that I "First Used" my 4 year old+ phone on the exact day that I went into one of their stores to ask "Why can't I unlock my phone?" The web site for Unlock - where you enter your phone #, name and email address - keeps saying "The information you entered is not correct", but gives no indication of which information is 'wrong' (I think I really do know my own name) or why something else is not correct. Then I was told that the requirement of 180 use before an unlock is allowed actually means 180 day of "Continuous Use", not just calendar days. I asked how many days of use they figured I had on this phone that I use as a 'spare'. They don't know, cannot tell me. Also, how much use counts as "Continuous"? No answer on that either. Oh, and the phone I have, which was purchased in an AT&T Store, is also not considered by AT&T to be an "AT&T Phone". Wow. Really, really not worth the hassle folks, no matter what kind of deal they offer. Personally, I don't like dealing with companies that tell me I'm a liar because their information is so totally wrong.

Tip for consumers:
That they are hopelessly inept.

I don't even know how to start this. I thought T-Mobile was bad but man. I'd rather send smoke signals to communicate to other people. My entire family and some friends have att and they all have the same problem. I don't have service in the most random inconvenient places. Spotty phone calls. Failed to deliver messages left and right. Nothing loads 80% of the time. Trash service. Do your self a favor and go with T-Mobile or Verizon

POLICIES & PRINCIPLES
Every company must establish policies and procedures to be successful, however when your guidelines fall outside of the commitment for exceptional customer service. You have clearly lost sight of your business goals.

Tip for consumers:
After having problems with the Samsung Galaxy 23 I replaced it with the new phone from AT&t however when I return the old phone they would not accept it because they said that it was scratches and damage to the phone therefore have two phones now and they expect me to pay for two phones because they would not accept the new one back.

Brick and mortar stores can't help which is ludicrous. They have to call and stay on hold for 30 minutes or more just like customers. If you get through it can be difficult to understand the assisting agent which tends to drag out the discussion. I was with them and their customer service sucked so much I just paid the fee to cancel. Five years later I moved and hit up Direct TV for the NFL package. When I went into brick and mortar store they had to call to help me, that's when it hit me, horrible and frustrating. That's why I left before. It's like no one up top cares about customer Service.

The AT&T store located in Littleton Colorado off if Bowels Ave has the best customer service EVER! Mr. Saeid Hassan was so great to work with. He immediately took away any anxiety I had about switching mobile carriers and went above and beyond helping out my entire family. He was amazing and so very helpful. This store and manager should be very grateful to have him as an employee! This is how customer service should look and Saeid should be training all of your employees on how to get and retain customers! Thank you Saeid!

Company has diminished over the last 10 years. Will make offers that will change without notice. Adding additional line gimmicks, will cost you more than original agreements. Don't fall for their gimmick offers. Acquiring the Direct TV service that is a separate company, will also be dissatisfied with. There is no correlation between the two companies. Other than both are poorly operated and owned.

So much I could put but I'll just say they triple charged me after paying my bill then they took an extra $721 on top of multiple $506 charges (3 today) I called 2 times today once was on the phone for over 2 hrs and this time she only wants to credit my account have and make me pay the bill again. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she is saying there is none available. I'm over this after 3 years of service with them we will be switching!

Went to Costco (not to change phones) bumped into a ATT salesman.
Thought I'd give him a chance.I wanted unlimited talk, text, data, and hotspot.
I also wanted 2 new phones, and keep my old ones.
Pretty simple request.
The Costco salesman agreed to all I requested, then said I'd also receive two $100.gift cards and wave the transfer fee.
All this for approximately $125 a month.
This was more then I was paying at Verizon by $15
My first bill $314.39 second bill was $176.75
The quote from the salesman at Costco was approximately $125 and would include everything.
I know what I wanted,I know what he told me.
Called ATT customer service. On the phone for over an hour, finally was told if I added auto pay with checking account only it could save me $20 on the next billing with no discount on the bill pending.
I've been lied to. The salesman at Costco lied.
My advice is to stay away from ATT. Just look at the customer reviews.
If you decide to go with ATT, ask for a printed billing statement before you sign up. They will not.
Also disappointing is that Costco teamed up we this company.
I've never had any negative dealings with Costco

I just went through an ATT installation at my small business. It was the worst. Service calls missed, incomplete install, inadequate phone support, mistakes, mistakes, mistakes and zero flexibility in dealing with our hours. So we accommodate ATT. The phone team assured us the technician would ask about Covid, maintain social distance and wear a mask. Well, of course he did none of those things. And the install left us without phone service. Rescheduling was a bear. We could not be more disappointed.

I got connected to AT&T network in one of the stores in NYC. The plan was very affordable - 45$ per months and everything was included!
Internet speed was amazing. I have never used AT&T before, but store consultant (forgot her name) told me a lot about its perks. Best mobile operator I have worked with so far.

Like many others have stated this company uses deceptive sales tactics and will rip you off! Got a tablet and was told one price and 3 months later got hammered with huge bills. The tablet is going back and they can take me to court to get their money.

I canceled my internet service 4/07/2023. AT&T drew a payment from my bank account a month later even the service was canceled. I checked my account on line and I had a credit that should be refunded. 4 months later I'm still waiting for that refund. On 8/7/2023 I called AT&T and I was told yes there is a refund, but he has to connect me to another department. I had to explain my problem 5 times and stay on the phone for 1:07 Hour and gues what I was not done. Nothing happend. It is so easy for AT&T to get your money, but it is so hard for them to refund any over payment. That is AT&T.

My dad and mom had AT&T for twenty something years, paid $262.97 on 10-3-22 then on 10-25-22 their phones were shut off. Talked to multiple representatives that DID NOT help, so sunday went in to a store to find out that my dad who thought he had 1 account apparently has 3 accounts and they want over $800 to turn his phones back on. Needless to say my parents no longer will deal with at&t..

I had a similar incident with the merging of Att and Directv. There customer service sucks and they treat you as though it's your fault. And they don't solve the problem THEY created. I moved in 2015 and closed out my bill (family emergency) they were so kind. I decided to go back when my situation changed a few months ago and with the split now they're charging me separately. It's a big mess. And treating your good customers like $#*! is wrong. I really want to cancel this

After being told my old phone trade in would be receiving the full $800 value on the pre assessment I was only to happy to take up this offer posting back my old phone. It then tock several weeks for there internal review once they received when I finally find out they gave $120 if I had known this upfront I would have passed. Won't be using them again unless it is an upfront value at a store. Not a happy customer!

I was initially excited about a deal offered at a local store. However, it turned out to be a disappointing experience as there were numerous issues. The representative mishandled everything and provided misinformation.
Following my purchase, I encountered a 24-hour period with no coverage. Despite reporting the issue, I was instructed to wait for an agent to troubleshoot, but no resolution ever occurred. To add to the frustration, I was billed for taxes on phones that I had returned due to an incorrect order. The tax amount for the returned phones was never refunded.
Furthermore, I was charged for a warranty that I never used and, despite bringing this to their attention, I never received a refund. Even though I spent less than 20 days with one line on their coverage, I found myself stuck with a bill that I had to pay.
In summary, my experience with this service was extremely unsatisfactory. I strongly advise against signing up with them. They are unreliable and provide poor service. I have more grievances, but I'll conclude here. Save yourself the trouble and avoid engaging with these people.

Tip for consumers:
was not able to get my money back instead i was mistreated and mischarged. Now you know choose something else. everybody is clueless; the store customer service, the online customer service, the local store (Sam club) customer service....

Time and days wasted but hopefully I will get my other freaking phone number we have had for 44 yrs to a new provider eventually. Wasted my day again with a 31yr phone line today trying to get ported. I give them a F- with customer service and a A+ for causing mental anguish. They need to hire English speaking adults for American customers and you would think they were getting paid to piss off there long time customers. I can honestly say I have never been so dissatisfaction with a phone company and looks like another was great company gone to hell. Goodbye AT&T

So I was shopping at Sam's in Mansfield, TX&Janelle stopped me. With an offer, I couldn't refuse! Stupid me because not only did I pay them $200 for the GS22 but was told my bill would only be $75 at most a month. The battery life on the phone sucked so I asked Janelle what should I do. She was helpful at FIRST, but then I hear nothing but crickets from her! I had to pay a fee to get a new phone, because I was told it MIGHT (Like how can y'all not check it in the store, but whatever) be a battery issue. I had coverage so they shipped me a brand-new phone. So I finally get my first bill expecting $75. Well, it was $202.00! I will NOT pay this and I will be going to at&t to itch someone out! Long story short battery life still sucks on this NEW phone and I went back to Metro PCS! Eff you at&t.

Tip for consumers:
Go with a bigger size phone if you need a longer battery life, like I do when I work for Amazon Flex!
