Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
Was mislead about the free watch, bottom line it wasn't free or had a separate line. They still charged me a restock fee of 55. Been with them since 2007, This is my last phone, T-Mobile here I come

They do not care when the elderly's phone is not working. They will tell you they can't go out for at least seven days. My grandmother has been with them for 40 plus years. She is ninety years old have not spoken to her in over a week due to her phone lines being down. When you call AT&T they tell you there's nothing they can do. They will send a text out but it will be at least seven days. I explained to them that it is very crucial. They get out there ASAP she lives Alone. They do not care. This happens quite frequently with their line.
We will be switching providers

Thought I signed up for a great service at a good price, found out it was all lies. My first bill was five times as much as what we discussed. Do not trust them at the store.

I transferred to AT&T because I was told that they work with people and it was a good company. I was with T-Mobile for 15 years almost they always work with me Help me, and some sort of way.
I've only been with AT&T less than one year I was laid off then I went back to work so of course, my payment was going to be late. Then I was furlough with my Job and I explained that to them but it didn't matter. To me all they really care about is their payment not the situation that their customers are in. It's not that I don't want to pay my bill. I just needed to make different arrangements and I need it more time. Now when they gave me an arrangement I told them I will not be able to make payment in that time frame. I need at least two more days added. They say all they can do is two weeks so they make you tale the payment arrangement or nothing, they don't care. It's like those two weeks are all you get, work with it,. So you have to make an agreement or you don't get one and it's terrible. I truly don't recommend AT&T to anyone as soon as I can transfer back to T-Mobile I will

I have att fixed wireless. Since last year i have had very poor upload speed through their fixed wireless service(.3mbps) have had techs out to my house 3 times, they have replaced all of my equipment to no avail. The techs tell me the issue is with the tower. Each time i contact att customer support they send more techs to my house, the techs replace all of my equipment and we still have the same issue. My service is fine for downloading files and watching streams but when it comes to streaming or uploading it is horrendously slow. Tried to contact support again last night and was on hold for 3 hours, i am extremely unhappy with att now and i think i will find a different provider in the future

Do not use AT&T or their online trade-in service. I traded in an iPhone 11 and they are claiming they received an iPhone 8 so I am not getting any money for my trade (costing me over $800). There is no oversight of their "back office" that processes trade-ins and there is no way for customers to verify what was sent in. They told me I cannot use Find My iPhone to locate my phone or have my trade-in phone returned to me. They told me there is nothing I can do that their "back office" has made their decision and I am out of luck. Have been a customer of AT&T for 20 years and will be switching to Verizon and I recommend everyone else does as well.

My bill is $75 a month. I got jobless. You charged me 60% late fee. That's highly toxic and parasitic for a corporate entity. Especially when you're operating most of your customer service out of a Third World country. I'm all for capitalism. But this is lazy useless capital scum. Your 5G networks is not even actual 5G in a heavily populated area.

Well... if you pay off a piece of hardware... like a phone,. As I did and then request said phone to be unlocked. Well better have your Presidential letter handy. After 2.5 hours the still will not unlock my personal property. I paid this off, its mine. I get it they own the service, not the phone. I've been a customer for over 15 years, not any longer. I don't care who u go with it will not be AT&T any longer.

I went ahead & did all the necessary legwork before our actual move in to try & make sure the service would be up & running at move in. So the day of our connection, they just drop a box at the door & let you go ahead & figure it out. I did everything right, got on the phone with a rep for 40 yes 40 freaking minutes & the issue is still not resolved.so of course now our connection is delayed another day until a tech can come out. When will these companies learn that most of us don't want to do it ourselves because we want to avoid the hang ups that we aren't trained for & I myself hate talking on the phone anyways. If they could just send a technician out for 20 minutes it could have been done. The representative on the phone was very nice, professional & did her best. This is not the way to start business with a new customer though

At&t is quite literally the worst phone service I have ever had. They say they have all these things for military but it's a scam. I'm going on a deployment and because I just signed up with them on March 2nd 2024, I haven't been with them long enough to put my service on hold while I'm gone. Which means that I will be paying for a service that I can't even use. I can't even use their international plan because my phone isn't payed off which means I can't even get a sim card and use my phone. So yay. Luckily I had already been prepared and bought myself a wifi puck. But damn. Don't use At&t. Just use T Mobile if you are in my situation. I haven't ever heard anything bad about them. Also if you have kids and a family, I recommend not using At&t because I just spent 40 minutes on the phone for the lady to tell me all this. It took 40 minutes to figure it out. That's something the store should have been able to tell me. But whatever. I'm stuck in a contract so it's to late now. When I get back I am switching back to metro. Don't be a fool like me. I was paying $90 for 2 lines with metro and never had any problems and the service is great as well. But I thought I'd switch to At&t to find out that I'll be paying $160 for 2 lines now and for me to not even be able to use the phone.

I check my account and see my bill is $795 instead of $275 I tried to connect the support team for 4 hours I keep having connection issues app shuts off 4 different reps all asking to repeat the issue last rep comes and solves in 5 minutes. Question is was it a type of stealing money technique, or were you thinking customers are stupid that they won't enquire about it, how many of such cases happen in a day there are lot of elderly customers who are not aware of how to approach this issue, it's not just a $$ it's $595 extra money charged, it's a theft 4 hours of time, anger, frustration for a middle class person to deal with such a big amount is a problem I could have left it as soon as they fixed it but my question is how many more people out there are suffering such forced financial theft. AT$T I need an answer and a solution and accountability for my 4 hours high blood pressure movement.Should I just leave it and go with the flow so that many more such incidents can happen.

My Internet has been out for SI
X days! Waited an hour and 20 minutes to get someone at customer service and they pretended they couldn't hear me and disconnected! Called and cancelled for when my time was up as I was on pre pay; they could hear me then, loud and clear! They're going to lose a lot of business with this 'outage'.

I had AT&T for many years. We were good customers and paid on time all the time. Got a new phone thru them and after 10 days need to change it because it did not work with my hearing aids. 3 different people including one superviser gave me 3 different stories. 1 said I could change out the phone cuz I was within 14 days. The 2nd person was very rude and said I was past my 14 days even though it was only 10 days. The third person was a supervisor and told me I was at a totally different number of days and they would not change out my phone. I cancelled my service and went with another service where I am saving $50 a month. PLUS, now i am trying to unlock my phones. I have tried for 2 months to get one unlocked. Yesterday I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on the phone to get the other 2 unlocked. No dice. Then the rep said she would call me between noon and 2 p.m. today to get the others unlocked. It is now 2:30 and no one has called. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

Their website claims $15/line on international call. I joined the plan and they are asking $1 per minute under the plan... I talked to their agents and also the 'manager'...they say it is their 'policy' and some countries have different tariffs what makes it international plan then?
Very disappointed and no wonder they have 2 star service...planning to dump their service soon!

As a 19 year customer of AT&T / Cingular I find it ridiculous that the company as big as it is, is unwilling to assist they're long time customers with the activation fees, or upgrade fees. Even Cingular in the early years recognized that its the customers that make them number 1. However as AT&T continues to grow and push advertising it has lost sight of the goals created by the parent company. 19 years, 7 lines on my account, and they cannot be moved to help in any way. I am not inclined to switch companies at this time, but believe my loyalty to this company has taken a hit and given the approach they have taken after all these years, that says something.
Again, thanks for nothing AT&T, I'll remember this.

I have had to call every month for 6 months for the same billing issue. They have my on the wrong plan and somehow were able to change my 3 childrens lines but not mine and it is messed up every month. I spend hours on the phone and it is never fixed. I would not recommend this company if they can't even solve simple billing issues.

We have been an ATT customer for over 20 years (back when they Cingular). We recently upgraded our phones with a trade in. We pay for 5 lines. Phones were picked up at an ATT store. The gentleman at the store helped us factory reset the trade-in phones and mail them back in. ATT has denied our trade in stating the phones were not unlocked - They don't know how to do that? Now they want us to pay $60 more every month. We are old - we cant afford that. After spending hours upon hours online, and with phone support, and the store... we are out of luck - they don't care one bit. And since their processes take so long, it is past the return date of the new phones. We are jumping ship to Verizon no matter what it costs. ATT does not care about its customers. Avoid them like the plague.

We have been customers ever since we had our first cell phone! We raise 6 kids and paid a huge phone bill every month! We r now retired and we still have a huge cell phone bill for just 2 lines. I spoke with a representative today and there was no discount! We have been customers for 20 plus years! This is gonna force me to look elsewhere for service! I just thought it sad that they don't care enough to have plans for older adults that are now in retirement. I'm frustrated and sad!

I have been with AT&T for over 7 years. I have a business account with 5 lines and average bill of $ 290.00 month. I have never been late in any my payments and because I get my bill electronically, somehow I missed the email and I was late 9 days and thay changed my $14.00 late fee. I call and talked to customer service and they rudely told me they will not credit me after half an hour on the phone. It took them 2 seconds to charge me, but half an hour and no resolution. Very disappointing. I am actively looking for a different carrier. Stay away from these guys they are all about profit with no service.
