Went to an att store in dade city florida to inquire about internet service, this multi billion dollar company does not service this area, but I'm informed I'm eligible for a new phone. The rep., said I would have to cancel the line for the tablet I wasn't using AFTER the new promotion was completed and I would receive the new Samsung 22 for basically free, not taxes and fees. Unfortunately the opposite is in fact true. I was supposed to cancel the line I wasn't using FIRST, then activate the promo. So now I'm paying $800 for a phone I really didn't want or need because of an employee error. Needless to say I will researching other carriers and transfer so I can keep my phone number. I can't believe this company is willing to loose a customer over an employee error. By by att.
I had two basic questions. Spent over 5.5hrs on the phone to obtain basic information on my credit. I was transferred a total of 5 times. No resolution or answers were available. Extremely disappointing I wouldn't not recommend this company to anyone. Do yourself a favor and purchase business elsewhere. Time is priceless, clearly they do not value their customers or loyalty.

1 year ago I switched to AT&T from Verizon. AT&T failed to port my number and notify Verizon to disconnect my old phone with Verizon and was getting charged $65 a month for a phone I didn't use/have. Overall AT&T couldn't even refund half my money back being a customer of theirs…I will never refer or have anything good to say about this company. Will for sure be switching
I bought a phone thru at&t and my service provider was first net. I paid my phone off and they gave me an unlock code so I could switched over to T mobile and I've been without service for 5 days because they gave me the wrong code. Iam completely locked out and it's asking for an m c k code that no one can provide me with not at&t nor first net or even Samsung. I need help unlocking my Samsung ultra 21 android.
Says you are getting a reward card for signing up and that they will handle your etf from previous service. In order to get the reward card you have to go Contact your previous service provider in order to receive last bill if you do not have it and collect etf amo. But that reward card they made you think was for signing up is actually your etf that you use to pay previous company. Which is fine if that's how they advertised it and how their sales person explained it. But it's not. So I'm thinking as soon as I am able I will terminate my service n go back to my previous providers on basis of integrity alone. The only reason I gave them a 2 is bc my sales rep is a decent person who has been working on this for me w att as well... otherwise I would have given a 2
Desgraciadamente soy por abligacion cliente AT&T, fui victima de ellos porque cai en una promocion falsa en la que ellos me recibian los telefonos en 800$ si venia de otra compañia, cometi el error de enviarles mi Samnsung S 20 (en condiciones impecable) que se los compre a ellos y me ofrecieron 800$, se los envie por correo el telefono lo recibieron ellos, no sabian internamente donde estaba el telefono y despues salieron dandome solo 150$ por mi telefono, osea me ROBARON 550$, despues volvi a cometer el error de cambiar 2 lineas de Tmobile para AT&T, y envie 2 iphone 11, tambien en condicienes impecables ambos telefonos, supuestos a recibirse en 800$ c/u, ya pasaron 3 meses y hasta hoy me hicieron un credito de 260$ osean130$ cada telefono, me ROBARON nuevamente 540$, ahora por la ineptitud de la persona que me realizo la venta por telefono de mis equipos ahora tengo una deuda obligad con ellos por mas de 3000$, y ellos no me quieren devolver los telenos que ya estaban pagos y yo les devulvo el dinero que ellos me dieron. Señores no caigan en esta trampa si les ofrecen alguna promocion que sea por escrito, por que no hay soporte de nada y ellos se lavan las manos y NO CUMPLEN. Con el internet de la casa tambien fue igual, nos cambiamos de compañia hacia AT&T y ofrecieron que ivan a pagar la factura por promocion, se les envio todos los datos que ellos requerian y tampoco, se que esto es solo medio de expresar mi mala experiencia con la compañia, pero para las personas que lo lean espero tomen en cuenta esto para que no vivan este mal momento, y para que no pierdan dinero con esta compañia. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent service call that was set up for my home internet service. Not only was the service call a complete waste of my time, but I also feel that I was grossly overcharged for a service that was not even performed at my house.
When the technician arrived at my home, he informed me that the issue with my internet was due to faulty wiring outside. He then proceeded to perform some work on the wiring, find out that a screwed was loose, which he claimed would fix the problem. However, shortly after he left, I noticed that my internet was still not working properly.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the real issue was due to the wiring not being screwed properly on AT&T's end. This means that I was charged for a service that was not actually necessary, and the problem was not even fixed in the first place.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service that I received from AT&T, and I feel that I have been a victim of fraud. Not only was I overcharged for a service that was not even performed at my house, but I also had to spend additional time and money to fix the charges.
Customer service told me that they can't remove the charge but they would remove 1/2 of the charge off one time only courtesy, I even got more upset for the fact that they think they were doing me a favor for a service they never performed at my place, and the charges that were wrongfully applied to my account.
In addition, I would like to rate my experience with AT&T's customer service as extremely poor. I would not recommend AT&T to anyone based on my recent experience.
