I went to the local AT&T store in Midland Park with my dead iPhone and assuming I would need to get a new phone and, of course, pay more per month (isn't that what always happens?). Surprise! Store Manager Alex K. Cleaned a wad of lint out of the charging port and lo and behold the phone came to life when he plugged it back in. He could easily have run up a new sale and make the usual commission. But, he is an incredibly honest fellow and was more interested in helping us than making a commission. Kudos Alex! And thanks. We definitely will be back to upgrade in the near future and highly recommend this AT&T Store and Alex in particular.
Beware of this company. They are not secure in anyway on their MyATT app. Mine got hacked and a double payment was made. One being authorized and another not. They will make you pay for their mistake. They will not correct it either. Their customer service is pathetic. They don't care about their customers they didn't through Covid either. I received a letter in the mail about my information being compromised and that they believed no personal information was stolen but explain to me how an unauthorized payment was made. Done go to T-Mobile for service they are by far AMAZING
My mother, 86 yo, has a 'cell' service for her Panasonic wireless phones. She has no ability to send or receive text messages on these phones, yet she is having test messages listed on her bill. Also, auto pay was set up by me in January on the AT&T website. They never honored it. Her phone is now shut off. AT&T wants a pass code that was never set up to talk to her about her bill. They want to send a test to her phone, that can't receive test messages, for a temporary pass code. Customer services manager Christain says he can't do anything cause we don't have a pass code that we never set up. He can't even think outside his script to help use resolve this issue. BTW, last night they never asked for this pass code but they left me on hold for 45 minutes until after they closed... IDIOTS! If I could give them a negative score it would be -*******. They clearly have an ID 10 error! My next review will be with the BBB!

I switched my business phones from T-mobile to AT&T. The biggest business mistake I've ever made. They told me after cut off my phone. They turn my phone for while I was working on the day they said I need to pay my bill by which is today July 11th they cut it off be for end of day and could help me with a payment arrangement for 24- 48 hour I told them I could have the money today just need it to be on for a day. I work and make money using my phone. I paid $312.00 of the 473.00 that was due. I never had this problem with T-Moble I am regretting ever switching

I have been an ATT customer for appx 2 weeks. It is only because its the only one available. I have had to call India for service and it is just AWFUL.
First, they speak so fast and garbled I cannot understand anything they say to me. The accent is not pleasant or understandable.
They all read from scripts and do not stop when you have a question. They just keep reading.
I have an email issue and it hasnt been resolved yet. Nor do I expect it to be.
ATT is just too $#*!ing big. I am lost now.
I will have to move again just to get the proper service and support.
For being so big, this company is a joke.

I have Sent in my phone thinking I was gonna get a price adjustment for a new model phone when in fact, all of a sudden they could not find my phone now all of a sudden I don't qualify for The promotion so I asked him why they tried to tell me read the terms and conditions, so I've read the terms and conditions. They try to tell me if I change my number within 30 days I could not receive my promotion that was not true at all so I contact them again, and I explained to them once again, can I get my promotion they try to say to me, oh we're looking back into the notes and because you change your number you cannot receive the promotion. I said well if you read your own terms and conditions you see that that's not true I said it have to be in black-and-white. Before you can tell someone they have to buy Buy a rule, so I said why we're on this phone we could read it together. The guy was trying to tell me all you don't qualify for it I said yes I do I said well send me back my phone that's completely paid off and you take your phone that's not paid off. They charge me full price for everything and didn't give me my money for anything They kept my phone and trying to tell me they're not gonna give me anything from my phone I want my phone back or give me the money towards my new phone and give me the correct price and I'm supposed to have.

5 hours, 6 calls to obtain a signal booster since they have discontinued support for 3G microcell users. After all that, charging $240 for a 4G booster so I could use THEIR service, they then shipped me the wrong item. A signal splitter? And it cost me another hour and 2 more calls to just get a return label for that wrong item. I'm heading to another provider!

I just wanna give a great big shout out great review to the AT&T employees at university circle AT&T, these guys really deserve a raise. The way that they were so patient and determined to help my situation yesterday as I was at that particular store.
They helped me get the results and satisfaction I needed yesterday as my phone had shut off because I had been ill and couldn't attend to my bill. I was upset because it costed more than I could afford to turn it back on so they assisted me in getting great help and results as far as payment arrangements etc. to the point that I was more than satisfied. There was one particular young man that was very persistent and did not stop until I was completely satisfied His name is Raymond( Ray) is what they call him. These employees names are Malik, Ray, Porter, and I think the managers name is Deante they were all great!;-)

I wasn't able to show my receipt because, I've seemed to have misplaced it or lost it. But I assure you that this is not a fake review as GOD! is my witness!!!

We purchased 6 iPhone thru Costco VIP authorized dealers. They sent 5 wrong phones and we called the same day to exchange and they sent us the run around to 3 a t and t dealers in town and it's been unreal. We are locked out of the system to exchange and they have our money. This is ridiculous. Never seen anything like this. SMH.

My son left the country for four months, and I asked AT&T what we could do to save money (and his number) while he wasn't using the account. They said, no problem, he could pay ten bucks instead of twenty on our family plan. But it was a lie. They didn't tell me that invalidated the installment plan he had on his phone, so in actuality their little savings cost us 5+ bucks a month extra. I called, certain they'd fix that as they have in the past for their mistakes, but I was told no way. That they were sorry that they made a mistake, but they wouldn't fix it. It's the last straw for us with other issues we've overlooked. All seven of us on the family plan are leaving now. If that's the way they run their business, they can do it without us

I went to ATT at Best buy on December 16th. They took my money, said its EASY to go online to transfer phones, 6 hour later that day, had to go back. Multiple calls saying, "oh, it's coming". Now, 2 months later, I still don't have the money. "OH, you have to go on and do this. Now you have to do that." I have 20 hours into trying to get the money money back they said I would get. Guys at Best Buy are nice and trying to help but ATT's process is idiotic. I turned my full bill in from my old carrier on my old phone. 2 months later they say I need to turn it into all 4 phones... why? They have my bill for all 4 lines on my bill. They are all listed on my bill. All the phones came from my email, my name.
WORST decision I have ever made going to AT&T. I would highly recommend you use a different company.

Have been with ATT for over 15 years. Had my 2 daughters phones shut off 2 years ago, at the same time had bought new phones with insurance for myself and my husband. Someone (per usual with ATT) didn't do their job and "suspended" the lines instead of canceling them (my dtrs) when we kept calling we were assured the bill did not lower due to the new phones we bought and the insurance. Local ATT store recently discovered the lines were never canceled but "suspended", both had zero usage which is what our bill also stated. Called several times inquiring to this. Continually assured lines has no charge. Local store said online has no idea what they are talking about. Found out today we will not be receiving a credit for the $3000+ they have stolen from us. Have talked to 7 different people with 7 different reasons. What an absolute joke.

After 14 days get an email from ATT that they are removing discounts given by an ATT rep at the their store...
1st No one told me about additional info required.
2nd ATT sales rep took picture of my ID to prove discounts
3rd ATT removes discounts quickly but does not recognize trade ins that you have in your possession for several months therefore keep charging my account - no consideration for my (the customers) cash flow.
4th the up charges added an additional $60.00 a month to my bill - and have to jump through hoops to have them removed.
I believe it's time to consider competitors and move away from ATT as well as go to the internist with these issues...

They offered a buy on get one deal last Christmas. I did this deal, and I added on a new line to get it. They never gave me the full buy one get one. Instead they gave me a $23 credit for six months and then they stopped giving it to me. I am stuck paying for two brand new iPhone x's and a new line. I called multiple times, I filed a complaint with the BBB. ATT called me and they were argumentative and rude. They said that they were just going to tell the BBB that this is unresolved. Now, I have to take them to small claims court. Whatever you do, don't go to ATT wireless. Horrible customer services and false advertising.

This is the most awful experience I ever had with a company. I got a bill for a shocking amount. So i called. I stayed with 2 agents for 2 hrs. They added an insurance to my phone without my knowledge for $50 per month. Then, they switched me to a higher plan (standard to elite) again without my knowledge. I asked them to show me the proof that i asked for the changes they could not. Any they gave me half of the credit i deserve. I am stuck for 3 years with this contract. I will switch at the next opportunity. Also, i owe them a balance they said i tried to pay it off, they said they will charge me for it. And then the system went down, according the the person on the phone, and they cannot send me a confirmation or accpet my payment. Please avoid this company. I moved from Verizon to AT&T to save some cash.
I was told I would be getting a plan tat was half my phone bill plus basically a free phone. I think I am now paying the same if not more. The service was of course going to be a down grade but it wasn't a little thing: it was noticeable.
I am now wondering it I would of saved money never switching.

They lie about everything. We were with them for many years and it was only recently that we realized that had lied the entire time. Our bill kept getting bigger and we didn't understand why. Then we tried to unlock 2 phones that said unlock ready, when we did it said we owed more payments even though 1 of the phones was free. We had been paying for free phones and they kept extending our pid phones payments. Even when it said they were paid off when we would go to unlock them, they would then say we owed more money. It got so ridiculous that our bill doubled in amount from one month to the next. It was ridiculous and customer service will say oh we are so sorry and we want to help but hey there is nothing we can do till the bill is paid even though the bill is wrong. Crappy service, crappy customer service and just a crappy company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!

If there was a no star review I would give them zero stars. I went to upgrade my daughters phone which I was quoted $1000. 00. Turns out that her phone was not a lock mode so it devalued the trade in value to $26.00. Its now past the 14 day cancellation policy, No call no emailes stating that your phone was being devalued. Worst service ever. Trying to get somene on the phone i nearly impossible. Dont be scammed

If you don't have to do business with AT&T, then save yourself from this greedy, no service oriented company. Internet service is a joke. We have 1mgb signal for years and have been promised that they would upgrade when they brought fiberoptic lines in front of property. We just learned through a AT&T service tech that came to the house that we have had fiberoptic lines for over a year. He told us that we were better off calling SPECTRUM, he said we would get faster service through them. So after 22 years of phone and internet service with AT&T, we are switching! They already lost our cable service as soon as we learned they successfully bought Direct TV. Horrible Company - wish this review gave negative options, AT&T deserves it!

I have blown away by knowing how much they charge to their carriers. They have bad customer service, bad internet service and bad carrier lines. I wish I had better words to show my rage to this crap. I suggests each and everyone of you to be aware of this company. Called this afternoon to speak with the Chattanooga AT&T customer support this afternoon in regards to my account. I spoke with a manager named Perry Shaw and he was absolutely terrible. He rude off the bat and refused to help me in anyway. He even went as far as to block me from the customer service line so that I could not speak with anyone regarding the account. I will absolutely never refer anyone to this company because the service is awful and the customer support is even worse. I signed up for the bundle package for $89.99/mom. Guess what! My first bill was $140. I called customer service and was insulted, the agent told me I want able to read the bill correctly. I went to the ATT store where the manager along with another agent were able to quickly look at the bill and find a whopping $73.17 billing error. I called back to have the account adjusted where again the billing department informed me that bundle billing (which I have had for years) was too complicated for me or the store emoyees to understand and also informed me that next month's bill would be $207! Run for the hills! The ATT/Direct TV bundle service is a bait and switch disaster!

Can't understand the person I'm speaking with, and in the back ground I can hear their tv,kids screaming, dogs barking, it took me 5 hours and I'm still on the ohone with your stupid company, to get service!
