I went to the local AT&T store in Midland Park with my dead iPhone and assuming I would need to get a new phone and, of course, pay more per month (isn't that what always happens?). Surprise! Store Manager Alex K. Cleaned a wad of lint out of the charging port and lo and behold the phone came to life when he plugged it back in. He could easily have run up a new sale and make the usual commission. But, he is an incredibly honest fellow and was more interested in helping us than making a commission. Kudos Alex! And thanks. We definitely will be back to upgrade in the near future and highly recommend this AT&T Store and Alex in particular.
Beware of this company. They are not secure in anyway on their MyATT app. Mine got hacked and a double payment was made. One being authorized and another not. They will make you pay for their mistake. They will not correct it either. Their customer service is pathetic. They don't care about their customers they didn't through Covid either. I received a letter in the mail about my information being compromised and that they believed no personal information was stolen but explain to me how an unauthorized payment was made. Done go to T-Mobile for service they are by far AMAZING
I have had intermittent tv freezing for the last year, going on Two. I have had quite a number of service calls, and about a week to a week in a half, the freezing starts again. I am very frustrated, and called the office of the AT&T president, which said they would have there service team call me. I did not receive no call, and they did nothing. I can see why AT&at stock is floundering. They do not know what customer service is, period. I have been a customer of AT&T for many years, and even own stock in them. Time for a change.

I had four appointments for service. Three were no call no show and the fourth the tech arrived 50 minutes after my 2-4 window. I didn't make the appointment for 4:50. Stayed home for three days waiting. Didn't even contact me I had to contact AT&T!

AT&T internet is 3mbps max in West Hollywood CA, do not even bother calling them.
I've suffered with their inadequate service for years because the cable from the only other provider needed to be reinstalled & it was a hassle in my building. I finally made the time to deal with it. The cable provider is the only other choice and my speed is now 164mbps.
West Hollywood does not have fiber so you absolutely will not get fast speeds from AT&T, don't let them tell you otherwise.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use AT&T internet unless they have fiber in your area

Do yourself a favor Do Not use AT&T for internet or AT&T Uverse. I scheduled an appointment with them over a month ago to connect our new location with internet was told they would be there at 8:00am so take off work set there all day even call to confirm yes your on for today 8-4 pm. At 5:30 I call and am on hold for 1 and 1/2 hour she hangs up. Call back at 8:00 pm I'm switched to 5 different people and they tell me there was no order oh wait I found it. We can see you Monday September 16. I said are you kidding you should put me at the top of the list for tomorrow. Supervisor says oh no we don't do that you'll have to wait. I'm done with AT&T no more. This isn't the first thing that's gone wrong with them in this last month. Business phone was out for 3 days. The rep from the store here was even on the phone trying to get it straight the 2 of us were on the phone I kid you not over 48 hrs. 2 days later no internet for 2 days. Save yourself the stress.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT IS HORRIBLE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO UPGRADE MY ROUTER BECAUSE MINE IS OLDER THEN ME AND I CAN'T GET THROUGH ANYONE AT ATT. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED.
Tip for consumers:
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

This company is so dishonest in March 2022 they took 2 payments for same amount paid my bill on the 3rd then on the 7th they took another payment for exactly the same amount. Which was unauthorized. Then they would not return overdraft which was caused by their error. This has happened 4 times. Do Not go auto pay Do not leave any banking info with them for your own safety. I am shutting off all my lines with ATT.
Tip for consumers:
Do not let ATT save your banking info . Ever!

If I could rate them a zero that wouldn't be low enough! I received internet service and was promised free install and $100 gift card for me service. Of course I was billed for the install and have spent over an hour being bounced around from department to department! NO ONE HAS HELPED! I am beyond annoyed and will NEVER do any type of service with at&t ever again. I strongly suggest anyone who is considering service with them to please reconsider.

Per my title, that is the main problem. As a customer, your time is not valuable, and likely you will not even get the solution or A solution. So why choose AT&T? Service is not the best, customer service couldn't be worse. I currently have cell phone plans and internet. Looking to switch providers as soon as possible.

Dropped calls and throttled service if you don't buy the highest level. Unlimited is meaningless with them as they just throttle you back indiscriminately unless you pay rates on oar with Verizon. And they suck too, just not as bad as AT&T. I'm truly remorseful for buying the S22 Ultra and that is compounded with the sewage that is the service of AT&T.

The place is spacious, neat and impressive! The staff are very knowledgeable. I would like to Recognize Efren for taking his time to help us transition to I phone 14. He was thorough and patient. The time was almost closing and he could have turned us away but he didn't. He made a choice to keep helping us with our problem. He didn't stop helping us until the job is finished! Great work!

I have been with ATT for years, I received a bill for 603(a car not payment) which is my bill each month for 7 lines so I paid the bill then I made a payment arrangement for 181. My son has been in ICU for 31 days and and I leave the hospital to come home and shower and try to call the hospital to check on my son and my phone is off. So I'm frustrated and scared cause I can't check on him and everyone in my household have att so I can't make a call. So I drive to att to see if I can speak with a rep. They're saying it's nothing they can do I could call and see what they say. So I call and they say well since you didn't keep the promise to pay for the 181 we turned your phone off and now you have to pay 1000 to get them back on. No one called to remind me, no one called to say make your payment no text nothing. So the manager started well we can restore service but the lowest we can go is 966. I'm pissed I have been giving my money away for years without looking at a bill each month paying $600 $800 bills with no complaints no credits not even looking at a bill. Anything could have happen to my son and for them to show no sympathy hurts me and to even know I was an employee for years. I will never in my life recommend them for anything

I don't know how long I will hold my job. My performance has dwindled because AT&T is my only option for "broadband" internet and it creeps along at 7Mbps. A couple of blocks away, friends speed along at 100-200 Mbps with their cable modems. In this era of work from home, do not pick AT&T internet if you have other options.

This is absolutely the worst company. They don't have a clue what the costumer service is. We are having a problem with our internet connection for almost 2 weeks, they sent a technician who did not fix it so we schedule another appointment. Technician supposed to come between 8 and 12. At 12 o'clock I got a text saying technician can not come on time. And I had to take a day off from work to wait for him. So I called "customer service " and guess what- when I explained the situation to the supervisor he started to laugh at me. Laugh! It's not funny, my husband's business based on the internet so he is loosing money by sitting and waiting for the technician who is not even coming. And the have no backup technician to send, which is not true. But the don't forget to charge you monthly for the service you don't even get. I don't know where else can I write a review but please don't use them. They ARE THE WORST!

I went to the mall and i saw a "good offer" of at&t which was a 3 phone lines for $173 montly, unlimited plus 3 new cell phone
Songs good! Because i had tmobile paying $ 103 monthly and my husband had sprint paying 145 monthly.
We decided to switch to at&t believing in that promises. And it had been a nightmare every month with the bill, they overcharge for no reason. We ended paying a bill for 400 and something i dont remember, i called them and they told me that it was because the first month they charge activation and a few more things. They said that the next month i am going to be paying my 173 plus taxes as we agree with the contract, so the next month my bill was 345 dollars, i have 6 months with this company overcharging me every single month. And they told me that if i cancel the service i would have to pay around 2,000 dollars. Oh my god what a mistake we made switching to this horrible company. I fell so mad, and i don't know what to do

Worst customer service ever. Rep in store created 2 accounts in my name when I only opened one ruined my credit because I had no idea it existed and it ended up in collections. I was promised a discount I never got was charged the full price for my phone when it was supposed to be free. I canceled automatic payments and they took my money with out my permission when I wasn't even supposed to be charged that amount I would not recommend att to anyone. Worst cellphone company ever by far

They will promise you a visa gift card and then will deny your eligibility after the 8 week period elapses. Even if you've called in the meantime and confirmed, after signing up with the code they SENT YOU IN THE MAIL.

AT&T is a terrible company! We had a bundle and cancelled everything in January. We did it online, but I went into a store to make sure everything was indeed cancelled and was told everything was cancelled. We have continued getting monthly bills. Each month we call and after giving them about 30 minutes of our lives, are told that everything is taken care of. Today we called about the latest bill and were told that there was a record of a March call, but that the cancellation was not in effect until April. So, we own them over $300. (This is not the same as the $400 cancellation fee we paid when cancelling.) Aughhhhhhhh... It would be cheapest ti pay it and be done, but this is wrong. Unless you want to have AT&T until you die, don't use them ever. I wrote this June 1st.

I'm in the middle of a mess with AT&t, we have switched from T-mobile to AT&t and it is not going well, i am paying full price for a phone that a manager brought us to trade and unfortunately it did not go well, do not let sales managers or sales persons come to your home, is better to be done at the source, because after they leave they will block you and block any source of contact you have with them. AT&T has a great department called loyalty department, but that is the only department where trained professionals really know their ways to get around, and because all the other reps does not know anything for when it comes to issues my problems became bigger and more complicated, and now AT&T kept my phone and full price of the sell they made,$1140 in order to get my lines working again. Also depending on the area, they will also lack service and messages do not come as fast as they say they should. So if i can save you some time and headaches, yes AT&T shows you good prices and good deals, but they lack big on management and sales teams and all you need is Loyalty to get better answers. Run away from AT$T if you can.

So basically at AT&T.com you have access to lots of stuff. One reason is that you can chat with the agents that work there and they are really nice. Second reason you have lots of choices and they are cheap than some companies.

They block your internet access to China's websites. Never use this. It would be hard to open up Chinese websites. I use my friend's hotspot, he used T-mobile. And I can normally access to those websites.

I went to the AT&T store had all my accounts canceled, the customer service rep forgot to cancel one of the accounts and I got continuously charged for it because I was on auto pay. When I called AT&T to address the situation, they refused to refund my money.

Offering a free Zflip when trading in any samsung? What do you need to get your free phone, just a $450 down payment on the free item.
Also tried to get the $30 a line set up but the cheapest I could seem to get was 2× that at $60 with 6 lines added. Laughed at th3 obvious false advertising and scam and went to Xfinity. Got $900 off my phone (no trade in) and got my lines for the $30/month like I was told.

ATT customer service is awful. They do not speak clear English. Takes more time to get them understand the issue. Waste of time. Humble request to ATT - Please move the customer service to better English-speaking countries.

I use to love ATT until they ripped me off. Charging me for a phone that I already sent back. Talked to customer service. They lie say they haven't received the phone. I know they received it. I don't even use my phone's waiting to my plan is up to cancel.

Wish I could give the customer service zero stars. Their customer service agents can't even speak or understand basic English. I waited 20 mins to get to an agent just to get a shipping label for my trade in phone. I had to spell out every letter in my return address twice using phonetic alphabets, but still the agent messed up my address. I had to use the word "dash" instead of a "hyphen" and they still didn't get it. I finally replied to the email with incorrect shipping label with the correct address. After this drama, the call got disconnected. Neither did they call back nor replied to my email with the correct shipping label.
