This April we were outreached by AT&T with a great promotion to join their wireless network as we were internet consumers in good standing. The offer was $20 off and 25% off monthly for two years if we chose to sign up for the unlimited plan. It was a no brainer for us as this seemed as a magnificent deal. In addition to this if we upgraded our internet we were promised a total of $250 gift cards, one for signing up initially and another for upgrading. Done and DONE. We were informed that the promotions would take two to three billing cycles to kick in. So we waited! The three billing cycles came and went and no discount was applied. Outreached customer service and we were asked to wait some more because they needed to "link our accounts". And so we waited some more. It is now December so a total of 8 months with no promotions applied and we are out over $500. Minimum of 7 calls to AT&T and numerous representatives and no resolution. Today after 8 months of calling and following up we were informed that we will not be receiving our discount as we brought over our phones. It apparently did not matter that we asked this upon signing up and that NO WHERE on the email we received from AT&T did it state this. No explanation, no adjustments and no apologies issued so basically after 8 months of getting our money and business in a timely fashion without any issues they have told us that our business is no longer needed. I will say that at least today's agent had some professionalism and didn't hang up on us or laugh in our faces as the previous members have. As for the gift cards that were supposed to be issued to us... we got the links to "claim" them but the links went to nowhere. Their rewards department is allegedly going to mail one card within the next two to three weeks. The card that we were supposed to receive upon signing up will not be reissued as per reward supervisor, Kylie, because too much time has lapsed (regardless of the fact that we've called to follow up numerous time). Kylie also proceeded to hung up on me after discussing the difference between can't and won't. I wish we would've read the reviews. Lesson Learned.
Horrible overseas support. They lied about getting a promotional gift card, and make it a hassle just to claim it. I spent hours on the phone to solve a simple problem. Canceled less than a month in, not worth my time. Find other providers with reputable customer service.
Manager answered all my questions even when I thought I was being annoying he was w a smile not bothered at all. He looked concerned and wanted to help. He fixed my problem and helped me lower my bill. He needs to be promoted to something higher than manager
I went for internet and cable and I was never given information regarding a "contract", after 5 days no internet, I call to cancel services and for 4 days of cable I was charge over $400 to cancel "contract", manager by the name of Christopher basically was you pay or you pay, despite their bad service.

This is the THIRD TIME in 1 year that my internet has gone down for an extended period of time. AT&T IS A HORRIBLE service with even worse customer support who does NOT CARE about their customers whatsoever. They refuse to reimburse you despite not being able to even use their junk service due to junk equipment or whatever other issue. I WORK FROM HOME, YOU GUYS ARE TAKING MONEY FROM MY POCKETS. I was approached be a representative in bjs, he asked me about my bill and he said he can cut it down if I switch to AT&T, I was paying t-mobile $210 for 4 lines 2 phones and he said with first response discount I would be paying $115 for 4 lines $160 with 2 phones, I take his advice and got starting following months I was slap with $600 in charges, taxes and fees, one line was $162.45, after the first month, I really tried to make sense of why but it can't never add up, I promise my self after I'm finish paying off this 2 phone I'm closing this account in these time it's not fair to no one, so I put my experience here to inform everyone. They just stress you out and rip you off they refunded and payment I never asked for them they refunded to a card I don't have wrong on their end and I had to go through my whole bank to get it disputed their just stressful and headache and they don't really try to help they just half $#*! their job it's so sad
I have had my worsest experience with ATnT service. We called them 5 times for a wireless home service. Everytime they provided us with a pass code, account number and asked for personal details like SSN and never came to install the internet at home. Upon calling them they told us they never registered our appointment. I have never seen such an irresponsible company like AT&T providing nothing.
I switched to AT&T due to the good deals and our local store seemed like a good place to go. The local store was good, people were helpful and seemed like they wanted to resolve problems. The problems started with the first bill, it was not what the store quoted and after numerous calls to them were told the plan we were enrolled in did not exist. Went back to the store and they called and had a fight with them and told us everything would be fixed. 5 months later, nothing is fixed.
We did not get agreed upon rate and then we were told to return our old phones for $1600 reimbursement. Call constantly and they say they do not have phones. I got signed receipts from UPS with their employee signing for the packages and sent that to them, no response.
My next step is BBB and hoping they can put some fear into them. They are unresponsive, have no follow up and really do not care about their customers. Stay away!

Probably the largest floating piece of flotilla and the bucket! My recent speed test was 0.16 download speed. 0.17 upload speed. And I paid almost $100 a month for AT&t business cell phone! What a joke! Biggest fraud in america! Their customer service is located in a country outside of america!

Its unbelievably slow. Like, comically slow. If you click on ANYTHING, just walk away from your phone for at least a minute to let it load. The app crashes all the time, if you have to switch to another app or lock your phone, it will crash and have to reload to the main menu. The search bar sucks, its way too complicated to find anything because of too many categories and sections. Awful. Btw, att does this $#*! where your plan goes up by $10 every year. So its advertised at first as $55, then it goes to $65 and so on until you finally just change your service provider.

I switched to AT&T because I thought customer service was bad at Cricket. Boy,was I mistaken! First when you call them, they ask you several questions like what's your phone number. I mean they are a phone company! They can't see the number I'm calling from? Then after I tell the person that speaks poor English,I don't have the right department! So I'm on hold while they connect me to yet another number. I tell this department my concern. If you have a business account & you wish to talk about a credit there's yet another number to talk to! So I'm on hold again while they switch me. By this time it's 7 pm & they are closed! And this is like the 5th time I've tried to take care of this. It's absolutely ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend using this company at all! Evidently you have gotten so big & so rich,customers don't even matter to you!

When you call AT&T you're sent overseas in the customer service does not know what's happening in the states. They scheduled a maintenance on my internet from 8:00 to 12:00, no one showed up and no explanation. Call ATT customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about and didn't care they're response was they'll get to it when they get to it. By sure luck looking around for a United States customer service for AT&T, I found out that our street and several streets around us had outages, so scheduling a service call was the wrong thing to do and no one informed anyone that it was an outage that affected everyone. We we need to get back the way it used to be your call customer service they're in the states and they know what the problem is, outsourcing it to overseas is the wrong way to do it because they don't have the right information to help the customers. We need to get back to customer service and not the almighty dollar that AT&T saves by doing this. AT&T should have one customer number not a half a dozen because you don't even know what number you're calling and it's very confusing.

Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store.
