I went to the local AT&T store in Midland Park with my dead iPhone and assuming I would need to get a new phone and, of course, pay more per month (isn't that what always happens?). Surprise! Store Manager Alex K. Cleaned a wad of lint out of the charging port and lo and behold the phone came to life when he plugged it back in. He could easily have run up a new sale and make the usual commission. But, he is an incredibly honest fellow and was more interested in helping us than making a commission. Kudos Alex! And thanks. We definitely will be back to upgrade in the near future and highly recommend this AT&T Store and Alex in particular.
Beware of this company. They are not secure in anyway on their MyATT app. Mine got hacked and a double payment was made. One being authorized and another not. They will make you pay for their mistake. They will not correct it either. Their customer service is pathetic. They don't care about their customers they didn't through Covid either. I received a letter in the mail about my information being compromised and that they believed no personal information was stolen but explain to me how an unauthorized payment was made. Done go to T-Mobile for service they are by far AMAZING
At&t offers me a bogo promotion buy one god the second free, pay for 3 months and then you only pay for one cellphone, after 3 months the thief company still charged me for the free telephone i went though the whole company speaking whit them and no one help me.

I had Direct TV for 6 1/2 years with great customer service and smooth running equipment. As soon as AT & T took over trouble started. I began receiving emails stating my bill had been not been paid.
It's automatically paid out of my check to Direct TV every month. After about 6 months I got tired of this and when I received a double OOPS bill hasn't been paid (when it has) message, I decided to fire them. It took me 7 phone calls to get through to cancel my account as soon hey kept putting me on hold and then hanging up. AT & T attempted to get me to pay $96.00 which I do not owe!
I finally reported AT &T to WA State ATG/Attorney General's office. A few days later a Man from AT & T calls me back to say "sorry" but will not refund my prepaid payment! I had AT & years ago and fired them. This is my 2nd time firing them and I refuse to do business with a dishonest company who takes ZERO accountability for their deceptive practices. Do not do business with AT &T!

4 days ago FPL was working on front of our business, since then we have all our AT&T services down. No phone line, no internet and we reported 4 days ago and they haven't fix it yet. We have been with AT&T services for 20 years and they have our business DOWN. Our costumers are leaving without products because we don't have credit card service. As a SMALL BUSINESS owner I don't KNOW WHAT to do ….PLEASEEEE someone has to do something about it ….

We cancelled the service when my sister passed away. When i got the final bill i had a credit balance on direct tv side and a debit balance on the ATT side, I called and they told me that they could not net the bill and i had to pay the balance on the ATT side and they would send me the refund on the direct TV side. So i paid the balance owed - since November i have been waiting on the refund. The refund comes from a third party vendor so now it is not ATT's problem. When i call the vendor they have no record of the Refund and when i call ATT they tell me to call the vendor. In the end 6 months later i still do not have my refund. I have called at least 20 times with no resolution. I will never use ATT again

$#*! you and your company. You've charged me over $600 in 4 months when my phone was stolen. I've been unable to switch to another service because you locked my phone number to my stolen phone. You've lied to me and gaslighted me every time I speak to one of you. I will take legal action.
$#*!.
YOU.

Chose this one for being one of the most popular at the location I was at that moment. The service providers are more or less the same now as for me. Quite the same plans, the same amounts of services given etc. It works, it doesnt fail much - so thats okay for me.

I have Sent in my phone thinking I was gonna get a price adjustment for a new model phone when in fact, all of a sudden they could not find my phone now all of a sudden I don't qualify for The promotion so I asked him why they tried to tell me read the terms and conditions, so I've read the terms and conditions. They try to tell me if I change my number within 30 days I could not receive my promotion that was not true at all so I contact them again, and I explained to them once again, can I get my promotion they try to say to me, oh we're looking back into the notes and because you change your number you cannot receive the promotion. I said well if you read your own terms and conditions you see that that's not true I said it have to be in black-and-white. Before you can tell someone they have to buy Buy a rule, so I said why we're on this phone we could read it together. The guy was trying to tell me all you don't qualify for it I said yes I do I said well send me back my phone that's completely paid off and you take your phone that's not paid off. They charge me full price for everything and didn't give me my money for anything They kept my phone and trying to tell me they're not gonna give me anything from my phone I want my phone back or give me the money towards my new phone and give me the correct price and I'm supposed to have.

I cancelled my service with att to move to T-Mobile or so I thought. Turns out, the cancel did not happen because I still had 2 devices (watch and tablet) still showing on the account. I thought the bill that auto-paid at the end of the month on 8/20 (switched companies on 8/10) was the final bill. Nope. Okay the next bill that was auto-paid at the end of the next month (9/20) was surely the last bill. I figured maybe the first one just wasn't caught in time. The second bill was $50 cheaper, so it must be the last bill, right?!. When the third bill came, I freaked out, called them and was told that yes, when phone numbers are ported to a different company, the account will then cancel and it is not uncommon for customers to forget about devices that were assigned a number but no longer use to remain (showing no use) but that they could get it taken care of for me. Great. Well I couldn't remember my PIN at the time, was told I would have to go to a store to change it then call back. I remembered the PIN, called back, got a different person, one that was much more inclined to be less than helpful. She then cancelled account and told me that there was nothing they could do about the billing oversight. I pushed, she put me on hold a few minutes (I'm sure to check her nails instead of the lie of checking with the back office) to come back and say, yep, nothing we could do. I had an account with att for 15+ years and that is how loyalty is treated with att. I look forward to them no longer being a monopoly which will happen sooner or later. Probably when they have shafted the right number of people.
Tip for consumers:
1/2 a star is the preferred rating but it doesn't seem to allow less than 1 star.

I cancelled my wireless service with AT&T because of the high cost. I transferred my service to the new carrier. AT&T charged me in advance for a full month because they said the day I transferred my service was the first day of my new billing cycle! Do you really need money that bad that you CHEAT people! I am so happy AT&T is out of my life!

I left ATT myself years ago. They offer me $300 or more periodically to come back. I never will. For my 90+ yr old mother I spent 5.5 hours simply to get her phone turned back on. Every time I got someone who might understand why it was disconnected by accident, they promised to send me to someone who could help me, and passed me back to entry level in the Philippines. AVOID ATT AT ALL COSTS. This year I have spent 10 hours simply trying to fix two of the problems THEY CAUSED THEMSELVES. The confusion there is endless, and they will simply route you from one department to another, telling you that this department can do nothing. It doesn't even matter if you talk to a supervisor--AT ALL. And there was no way to get an account online since they had cut off the phone--by mistake.
We need a way to vote for WORST American company. They would win.

Seems that incompetence runs rampant throughout AT&t and its employees. The cannt
Fix a basic voicemail problem and don't even follow through with setting up your phone and service properly. And this is not the first time that I've had problems with AT&t other people as well. I had a friend who works for AT&t and he said the management is horrible and the employees they hire are incompetent and lazy. Covid has made this even worse. Cant you fix a simple problem!

ABSOLUTELY the worst company possible... they came and hooked up my internet which kept loosing signal... promised to come back to hook up phone and TV... and never returned or called... however did manage to pull money out of my account for the services that were never hooked up... Thanks Stephen for a complete waste of my time and money... HORRIBLE COMPANY

Paid $300 on a past due account. AT&T said they would turn on the internet and landline. Over 2 hours on the phone with customer service and they still would not reconnect the internet and landline - what a waste of my time. AT&T is incompetent.

Do NOT use AT&T as your provider. If you do, don't fall for their promotional offers like trading in your phones. If they promise you your bill will be X amount each month. They are lying. They will hit you with hidden fees and promotional offers that don't last. I as a customer was very specific about being on a fixed income and what I could and could not afford. After dealing with AT&T employees I discovered that my promised monthly bill of $188 and some change rapidly went to $222.34 after four months. Also, during the past few months they added on $90 tax fee that should have been up front but wasn't. This escalated my bill to $333. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AS A SERVICE! Their are far better providers out there, please don't fall victim as I did to these highway robbers.
Tip for consumers:

I had a business and individual internet service. For bussiness It took total of 4 hours and 3 consultants to get service requested! Then 2 tech visits and I still dont have it. Horrible. For individual I had 100 mbps and was barely getting half of it. I paid $65 a month and then got spectrum 1gb for $50... superior customer service. As my friends said when Ia sked about swithich "whatever you switch to, after AT&T You'll be happy".

I'm not happy first thing that happened to me was I got my phone locked up and at&twont unlock it and they claim I've got another account BULL! So I go to the cloquet store and finance a new phone and the sales lady reassures me it comes in where I live but it don't so I drive right back the next day to return it.the gentlemen was very nice but informed me I am being charged 50 dollars because I opened the box. Are you seriouse I've got to open it to use it right? Any how after a couple of failed attempts to reach them I'm told I'm s. O. l. With my phone and supposedly will be reimbursed we shall see. Also that phone got hot too. DONT. GO THROUGH AT&T!

I called AT&T Rewards Center today since I received an AT&T rewards Visa card for $100 and due to some mailing issues with our home address, by the time I got the possession of this Rewards VISA Card, the Card was already expired and I couldn't activate/use my $100 rewards Visa Card.
So, I called AT&T Rewards Center to issue me a new card and they told me that they will not reissue me another card since it was my fault to not use the card.
I have been an AT&T customer since 2007 and this is a bad customer service from AT&T to make a loyal older customer upset about just $100 and AT&T will lose a loyal customer starting today itself.

The wait time for a representative is ridiculous! The wait times are always 30 minutes to an hour and if you ask for a callback, they always call at inconvenient times!
Tip for consumers:
Evidently they need some more customer service representatives to answer phones when a customer calls not call you back in 2-3 hours or 2 days later! This is very inconvenient!

We live in the Raleigh, NC area. I fell for the "white glove treatment" back in February 2022, where a sales representative comes to your house and sets up your phones and the "we have a better plan/deal than what you are on now". Mitch Furst was your typical saleman, but when he could not get certain issues resolved with setting up our phones, nor get the billing set up correctly in the AT&T system should, red flags began going off. So, here we are 9 months later and Demetrius Rid$#*!, who is the regional manager, still can not get our cell phone bill right. Every month it has been off by between $60 and $110. Every month he says I will credit our account; I finally had a chance to check my last 5 credit card statements and NO CREDITS. This is partly my fault for not following up sooner and making a bigger fuss, but I trusted he would correct the billing issues. The cell service is fine, no better than T-Mobile which is who we were with before.

I have had my worsest experience with ATnT service. We called them 5 times for a wireless home service. Everytime they provided us with a pass code, account number and asked for personal details like SSN and never came to install the internet at home. Upon calling them they told us they never registered our appointment. I have never seen such an irresponsible company like AT&T providing nothing.
