I went to the local AT&T store in Midland Park with my dead iPhone and assuming I would need to get a new phone and, of course, pay more per month (isn't that what always happens?). Surprise! Store Manager Alex K. Cleaned a wad of lint out of the charging port and lo and behold the phone came to life when he plugged it back in. He could easily have run up a new sale and make the usual commission. But, he is an incredibly honest fellow and was more interested in helping us than making a commission. Kudos Alex! And thanks. We definitely will be back to upgrade in the near future and highly recommend this AT&T Store and Alex in particular.

Beware of this company. They are not secure in anyway on their MyATT app. Mine got hacked and a double payment was made. One being authorized and another not. They will make you pay for their mistake. They will not correct it either. Their customer service is pathetic. They don't care about their customers they didn't through Covid either. I received a letter in the mail about my information being compromised and that they believed no personal information was stolen but explain to me how an unauthorized payment was made. Done go to T-Mobile for service they are by far AMAZING

It all started in December 2018... The promotion ended and I had to get a new one. So I just down graded to no STZ and Showtime. My bill was to be $149 a mo. When the bill came it was $199. Nobody could explain where my savings was...
I decided to switch to Direct TV and the technician came on a Saturday and told me bad Idea to mount on ceiling. So it was not installed. Come Monday (May 2019) I have no service at all NBA Play offs
I literally have been on the phone with AT&T early mornings and evenings after work, for a whole week. And nothing gets done. They tell you fake promises just to shut you up. They promise to reimburse me, they promise to send some one this past Saturday nobody showed or tx me to let me know they were not coming. Been waiting over a week for a technician to come and reinstall the service. I screamed, cursed even cryed and the didn't give a!#@*.

They want their customers loyalty but they have no loyalty themselves. My bill was going through the roof, I had phone, watch and internet with them. I decided that I was going to change providers so i called and disconnected all services on Dec 6th 2023. I received a bill in Jan for 88.07 and then another on Feb for 88.07. When i seen this I decided to inquire as to why. I was told that my watch still had a line their. I asked them why in the world would I choose to leave the company, take my phone and internet and LEAVE my WATCH services?! They went on to say that it was my fault that my watch services wasn't disconnected and that it's why I was being charged. I asked him them did that even make sense, he agreed it didn't make sense but still refused to removed the charges but instead said he would credit my account with 10.00! I said why in the world would I agree to this and the charges aren't my fault? Joshua the supervisor said they are not inclined to give any money back. He then agreed to credit my account, I said why are you crediting an account that's no longer mine? He said for the new charges that was applied a few days ago. LOL LOL! ATT is insane. I took the loss just to be rid of them and found out a day later after crediting my account that they still left me with a balance of 4 CENTS LOL. How petty can you be after charging wrongly and then leave a 4 cent balance. I was with ATT for 20 or more years and this is how they treat their customers. NEVER AGAIN will I ever use ATT and you shouldn't either. I wish i could give zero stars:-(

Worst customer service in the nation. I have not been able to access my email for 30 days. Case numbers associated withbthis issue are M*******, M******* and M*******. I have spoken to 3 supervisors of the Technical department ( Sam, id# SC234H, Jason id# JM411U, Mel id# RF114K, and a Tony who refused to give me her ID #). These all have claimed that I needed to fill out a form to have someone contact me to reset the password to my sub email account. It has been 31 days since this form was complete.it has been 34 days since I have been able to access my email. Now I am being told it'll be another 30 or 60. I don't want apologies. I don't want I understands. I want my email!

Switching to ATT has been the worst choice I have ever made. I ported two numbers over from another carrier, I bought a new phone for one of the #s and wanted to keep my old phone for the other... ironically, the phone I bought ported fine, but ATT keeps loosing the acct information for the phone we are keeping... the only way to get them to provide service for this # is to buy a new phone which we dont need or want... I have to file a BBB claim :(

ATT coverage is very bad. An ATT seller came to my home and convinced me to move to ATT and now I can even not use phone at work since there is no coverage and ATT can not resolve and alsomdoes not provide any solution. If you want a new carrier pay the penalty. Also the cost was not what was sold. This company is a joke.

I called them to see why my 20gigs was going over, it seems like the last few months it was always getting closer, it wasn't like that before never got close to the 20gigs. They told me for the same price I was paying I could get unlimited everything then I get my first bill and it's $10 more they told me my 2 other phones have a $5 service charge for the unlimited plan. That's not what they told me on the phone I'm trying to save money now they want to get more money out of me, time to change to another phone company.

Had an employee give me false info and got a bill saying i owed on something an employee told me i wouldnt. They meaning atnt employees and a superviser did nothing to resolve my issue just a either pay or return the device and were rude about it

The fact i had to pay what i asked the employee i didnt want to pay

If I could rate them "0" I would,
I made a banking error resulting in an overpayment of $1450. By the time I realized my error, the funds had been withdrawn from the account. It has been 2 weeks of dealing with absolute incompetence from the Philippines, culminating in my receiving a debit card from an ATT owned bank for the refund. DEBIT CARD! I was told I would be getting a check. Now I have spent more time with the Phillipino staff- I attempted to register the card! So I could request a bank tanker which would take 2- three days. Only one problem. The "system wasn't working". I have now requested a check which will take another 2 weeks. Unbelievable. Do not do business with ATT. They are beyond terrible.

Worst nightmare with At&t crew, they left the fiber in our driveway which needed to be buried in the ground.
We requested, that account not to be conected, if they cant bury the cable in the ground.
The crew promised to be back and bury the wire within two days.
It has been two weeks and the cable is a hazard for accident to happen, on top of all this we have a wedding happening in the house.
No body in customer service is ready to help.
What are our options.
We are in desperation, and stressed.
No one is helping in AT&T.
WONT RECOMMEND AT&T TO OUR ENEMIES EVEN.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. HAD BEEN ON PHONE FOR HOUR AND HALF. (ON HOLD). WHILE THEY CONTACT STAFF.

I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone! They took my $247.00 and still havent refunded it yet. My kids were waiting on their phones for christmas and never got them soooo i called the most useless customer service in the industry and found out our order had been cancelled, What? By who? Still no answers! We are going with tmoblie bwcause att sucks balls! Please reconsider before you get internet or phones with these idiots! Too many BETTER companies ro go with besides att.

I'm not sure if AT&T is part of this crap or not? I have been a AT&T customer for over 15 years when I call about the 20 calls I get a day from scammers, all I seem to accomplish is ZERO. I would think a large company like AT&T would be able to stop scam calls from people trying to steal information from us. I have called for well over 2 years asking for some kind of help from AT&T with nothing but bull$#*! from customer service. I paid extra money to block scam calls, that did nothing. When I call and speak to a person, witch is difficult, I explain that I realize they are just doing their job so I just want to find out how to stop these scam calls.

Had a intenet technical issue. Literally spoke with over 40 technicians from 8am to 7pm on phone constantly. I have been placed on hold for long wait time. Connected to surveys instead of proper department. This place is a joke. They have no organization and the resps are completely unknowledgeable had to cancel service and go elsewhere. They split my internet to 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz which made my secitruty cameras not work. And had no idea how to remove the 2.4. I have NEVER experienced such incompetant, unproffesional reps in my life. American customer service has been ruined by foreign out sourcing. And this is a prime example

AT&T HAS CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND WOULD NOT SHOW THE INVOICE. SPENT OVER 4 HOURS ON THE PHONE BEFORE FINALLY GAT THE INVOICE. SLAES PERSON CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND QUOTED PRICE FOR 3 PHONES AND INTERNET. WHEN TALKING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE PRICE IS WELL OVER PRICE QUOTED. ON THE PHONE LOOKING FOR EXPLANTION FOR HOURS MORE WITH NO ANSWERS.

I am pleased to report that after more than 15 years I have canceled both Directv and AT&T wireless in the last 3 weeks. True to form, during my call, the AT&T retention agent lowered my monthly charge from$78 to $65 to $55. After I convinced him that T-Mobile was 2x to 5x faster and cheaper ($50), he did me the favor of cancelling my wireless even though I was a couple of days into my new month. Well, guess what? I got my bill and AT&T charged me $78 for the two days. I am so pleased to have AT&T in the rearview mirror.

There is better service at less cost with less attitude.

I've been an ATT customer for 50 years. But over the past few years poor customer service has prompted me to drop their internet service, landline service and two months ago, their mobile phone service. On the latter, I had a credit of over $80 that they never gave back to me. I called, chatted, messaged via FB and even tried emailing corporate execs, but never could get an answer. Finally, I complained to the BBB and was contacted by a rep with a heavy foreign accent who told me I would be receiving my refund in 6-8 weeks. Well, yesterday I got it---in the form of a Debit Mastercard! WTF!@! Not even VISA that I can use with most businesses. I had to go thru the trouble of going to a 3rd party website, registering with my personal information just to request a check to be mailed---which I should receive in about 2 more weeks. What happened to the great company. They are not even third-rate anymore. I will never go back.

I have never been given the run around so much as I have with ATT. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know, everyone I don't know, and all those in between to NEVER do business with this horrible company. 13 phone calls to customer service and still no solution.

I have been an AT&T customer for years. I received an e-mail back in February saying that I could get high speed internet for the same price I was paying, Obviously, I thought that this was a deal and signed up. Due to personal reasons, I was not able to have someone come out to my house until the middle of March to install the new service. I just now receive my first bill and it was $30 more than what it was supposed to be. I called and stayed on hold for hours and then received a call back, just to be notified that because I did not "click the box that said I wanted the discount" when I was in fact signing up for the discounted price, I could not receive it. Not only will I be looking for another service ASAP, I will never recommend AT&T to anyone.

I spent over 3 hours trying to fix internet and cable service with att.
Im thinking about leaving att can't get no internet wi fi and cable on my tv.
I paid 167 for internet wifi and 149 for direct tv stream both theough att and no one could connect my services after three hours of trying to enter my password.
Now i have wait 24 hours to have inernet and cable on my tv.
Att is not what they say they are

Tip for consumers:
The representative should have know what the codes mean
They failed to tell me that i had to wait 24 hours to enter my password on my tv to use the cable service.

Just one of many: AT&T billed my credit card for a modem I returned back in January. I've been fighting a losing battle for my money back, even though the idiots sent me an email confirming the gear was returned. I've talked to 14 different people since January and the ineptitude is quite mind staggering. I was told that I was credited the amount, but nobody knows where the money is... huh? I was also told by a supervisor, that the finance department was in a "Bad Mood" and didn't feel like helping... um WHAT? Should I give up on ever seeing my $150 again?

Tip for consumers:
Use Verizon...or anyone, really.

They are scam artist and charge triple payments out of your account. I was lied to about the bundling both direct tv, internet and phone service would save me money. I was told I would get a 200.00 dollar visa gift card, never received it. I canceled my service and was told by the agent to return the phones. I return the phones and now I am charged triple of what the phones were worth. They said they have no record of phones received or that a payment was made. I called customer service and got transferred 4 times to fix the problem. I have a bank statement and a receipt that the phones were returned and they were overcharge my account. They were rude over the phone and treated me like I don't manner. The sales associates are down right rude as well. Next month I am canceling direct tv and internet. I will not go back to this company again. They even threatened me to turn me over to a collection company. I will tell my friends and family not to do business with AT&T.

I did everything asked of me when trading a phone in only to have them send it back stating they didn't receive it within the window of time. They DID receive it within the window of time I made sure of it! I now have $150 charge on my bill. If you haven't switched to AT&T save yourself a lot of headaches and money and just DON'T go with them! I will be moving our phones and Direct TV very shortly. AT&T SUCKS!

I've been an AT&T customer for 11 years due to Covid lost my job for three months fell behind they sent me an email to offer 50% off my bill and then reneged and said they never sent it a month later sent the same email again offered me 50% off and denied sending it now they're calling me with collections taking the shut off my service. I treated about the experience and they were quick to reply because I was on social media but now 24 hours later no one has responded back but I still get automated calls from AT&T threatening to shut off my service. They don't care about their customers they don't care about how long you've been with them and apparently they don't care what happened during Covid. I would never ever ever recommend AT&T again to anyone
