AT&T Inc. is an American multinational telecommunications corporation, headquartered at Whitacre Tower in downtown Dallas, Texas. This company has to provide the information about the companies. I've had At&t for many years. I'm still on their unlimited data plan. I moved and it's now been almost 4 months and still no service.
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
My grandma and I tried to cancel their At&t wifi after her husband passed away. When you try to cancel online through your account, the cancellation page is conveniently "down" - so you have to chat or call... Red flag #1. Then she and I chatted with multiple agents because they kept disconnecting. Interesting. Pretty sure if I had asked for their stupid fiber upgrade we would have been served immediately. Anyways, we said over 10 times in one chat that we just wanted to cancel because she is moving to assisted living. These bastards tried to convince her to KEEP THE WIFI in an empty house she is SELLING. Apparently these people don't even know what assisted living is because then they tried to get her new address. I hate this company. How dare they hassle my grandma after my grandpa's death.
As soon as you sign up employees from other countries call you and ask for your pass code and security questions. You can hear they are in a room full of people. I also could not get the install dates when I wanted.
AT&T has no loyalty or care for their customers. I've spoke with several representatives throughout the years and not once have been taken care of like a long term customer. I was conned into their service in the first place with a bogus deal with fine writing at the bottom which I wish was better brought to my attention. One of their service representatives even tried to recommend other companies for me to go with rather than assisting a loyal long term customer.
How they have a 4 star rating on google is false advertisement and it blows my mind. I hope nobody else falls into this scam company and they stop poorly servicing people.

Due to lack of maintenance on the wired home service, we said enough. After 45 yrs of a hard line phone service and poor TO NO service at times. The rates have gone up to $65 per month for Basic service.
We live along the Gulf coast and for years we relied on this hard line during hurricanes and other network outages. This service has been damaged for many years with unuseable service.
It's really sad that AT&T has failed to maintain this vital communication service.

AT&T wireless has been the worst business, I regret signing up with them very expensive, I had a sales rep come to my home flirt with me in front of my husband and he didn't get fired or written up. And my bill is sky high. A Few staff members didn't even take care of my account accordingly. I'm very disappointed specially now. When our world is upside down. Hugh businesses get richer While others are struggling to get by
They refuse payment in full because of there mistake, got name an address wrong on service an blamed me for it, totally a messed up phone company do not use these people at all they need some respect for there customers
Tip for consumers:
Do not use these people they have no awareness of what they’re doing
I moved 3 months ago to verizon but att is still charging me for nothing, Att has very bad customer service and performance, they over charged me for international calling without any making calls.
I will recommend never get the att, T-mobile and Verizon is better.

Promised me a set price when I signed up after the first bill came it was almost triple the cost, customer service is a joke especially when you get transferred to the Philippines. Don't waste your time call Spectrum they seem to have the best prices.
If being sold a specific plan with a specific price that requires you to call customer service twice in the following 7 days and act pissed off in order to get the things you were sold, AT&T is for you!
Scumbags still up to their old tricks - hidden service fees, nonsense fees that are just there to take advantage of people that don't know any better. And of course they push you into the automated, debit, paperless billing so it falls under the radar with most people. They (like most corporations too large to be of value to their customers) are barely better than organized criminals.
Was on hold on 4 different lines, 2 lines over two hours. Not helpful, knowledge able, and loyalty to the company don't amount to squat. Every month my bill kept going $100 or more increase. My bill the last two months with fees and jiberish scams has been close too $900. Their competitors like exfinity offers 185 channels 3 cable boxes land line and Internet for $170.70 a month. I'm good on being screwed with no lube from this company they loosing this customer ASAP
Tip for consumers:
For the love of God don't use this company

AT&T store located at ******* Michigan Ave. Dearborn Michigan. We work with an associate I believe his name was Smiley. I want to express what a liar, and misleading he is. I purchased to IPad and he told me I will NOT get charge any service fees, activation fees.
Well what a joke not only I got charged fees, he added $6 upgrades fees Insurance $45 for each Ipad Fees and $35 fee. You don't have to lie to make a sell. Be honest.
I want to encourage everyone that if you choose to shop at AT&T stores video and record the process or it's your word against theirs.
Nevertheless you don't want to shop at a store that's going to lies, con, and mislead. I do not recommend this location…………

Was talking to a lady on the phone about my bill and what I was paying for that made it so high and she was so rude and unhelpful about the whole situation then when I asked to speak to someone else because of her attitude she hung up the phone after going through multiple representatives to help me with my situation. Completely unprofessional and rude. Seems like they don't know to much about how customer service works. Would highly not recommend.
I am literally at one bar and two of those round things. It's literally garbage. I would rather have something else but it's the only thing I can afford. If they would extend it to people out in the middle of nowhere (aka me!) I wouldn't have to complain. All I want is to not worry that much about having it go out in the middle of a call or something like that. It goes out of service for no reason. Literally just plain garbage. Make it better or you'll be out of business soon for I hate it. If only I could pay for my own.
I had AT&T for a couple of years. The cost kept going up, and my monthly charge in the past year ranged from $110-$196! I took notes on calls to customer service asking about inconsistent billing. When calling back and referring to what I was told, no one had records of my calls. The company lies and does not train its agents well. Different answers from different agents. Hours and hours of calls every month. Unfortunately, AT&T had the most consistent connection where we lived. We have moved, and the first thing I did was change providers.
As someone on a low income budget, and unable to half the time get in contact with someone who knows what they are doing, I was trying to move from AT&T and had the worst experience. With the correct account number, transfer PIN, and phone unlocked they would not transfer my phone number. In fact I verified my account number with the phone service I was transferring too. It was the correct account number but still refused to release my number. Called the port number from AT&T and they refused to help me. I don't owe money and I ended up because they refused to help having to completely change my number. I was tired of going back and forth. I have always had issues before but this was infuriating.

I was an AT&T internet customer for 6 years. When I moved to a new house, I was given an installation date. The day before, I was contacted and told the date was pushed back by an additional 8 days. Now, 4 hours after the time frame and several calls to try to contact someone who has any idea of when to expect the installer, I've given up and had it cancelled. Hopefully I won't continue to be charged for internet I cannot use. I even went to a physical store to see a sign that said, "will be back in 15 minutes." Do real employees actually exist with this crappy company?

During hurricane Ida my service was our for a total of 34 days. That does not include numerous times when it was out for 2-4 hours. This is for u-verse TV and internet plus phone. In September I called and asked for refund for 17 days and was credited $89.03. My monthly bill is $218.92. The math I learned in school tells me that 17 days is more than half a month, so why only $89.03.
Now that everything hopefully is repaired, I called to get credit for the last 17 days credit. I was told that I would not receive any credit for those days.
I refuse to be treated like this by any company and after several tries to right their wrong, I must find another company.
Try AT&T at your own risk.
PS. Their contract is no good for the company. During the 3 years I was with them after I moved to Louisiana, they raised my rate about half way through each year. Thanks for this opportunity to let others know of my experience.
They over charge take your money, my bill suppose to be paying $192 per month for 4 lines. They charge me $336 twice and every month they had extra charges that they don't wave. Plus signal is really bad I get no service everywhere. Stay with your actual mobile company. I had tmobile never had any problem with them.
I signed up for a new account replacing cable and internet. The rep advised I would get a $200 credit for a new account. Instead they offered me other services which I didn't want. After complaining to lower management with no results. I mailed a complaint to Executive management. I sent certified to the Dallas corporate office. It was received. I never even got the courtesy of a reply. Don't try to call. You'll just get bounced from one person to another! I'm probably going to find a carrier who does whet they promise!

I ordered a new IPhone 15 from them online I put full shipping address when ordered well whoever packaged it didn't put the full address on it. UPS couldn't deliver it back to me so they returned it. I told them when they got it back I wanted the phone and the line cancelled and I want my $52.70 refunded back. So far I've been given the run around one person said it will take a couple of hours to a day for it to be processed which was a lie. Now the next person says 5 to 7 business days well I'll give them that then I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB or FCC.
The salesperson who convinced me to switch to AT&T was the start of the lies. Basically AT&T is not counting my trade in credit and claims my phone is "lost," so they are charging me hundreds of dollar. However, I have provided them the imei number and usps tracking number. 10 months last and 13 calls later to customer service…no progress. They are rude and they don't take notes so each time, I have to start over. Often they say, "Let's just see what happens next month" and nothing happens. I have never felt so financially stuck. They will not leave their service without paying the full price of the phone I was supposed to get for free. I have cried and screamed over something so simple. They will not let me talk to a manager. I leave them 0 stars each time they ask for feedback and no one follows up. Avoid the stress at all costs and choose someone like Verizon instead! I have wasted 14 hours of my life on them having the same conversation.
My AT&T internet was out for a week and AT&T's customer support was non-existent. They were clueless and read from scripts without listening at all, It was infuriating. Then they had the nerve after no customer service or communication at all to show up when the tech finally arrived and try to sell me cell phone service. Unbelievably disrespectful. I'll never use AT&T again.
My bills from AT&T Mobile were consistently inaccurate. It's incredibly frustrating to have to scrutinize every statement to catch overcharges or mysterious fees. This lack of transparency and accuracy in billing is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's professionalism.
In conclusion, my experience with AT&T Mobile has been nothing short of frustrating and aggravating. From poor customer service to unreliable network coverage and misleading promotions, this phone company has failed to meet even the basic expectations. I strongly advise potential customers to explore other options before committing to AT&T Mobile.
