Very disappointing when finding that all rewards offered when activating Internet 300 service online are automatically switched to a bundled product that after 7 weeks has not yet arrived. They sent an email 2-3 days after service activation showing that you qualify for an "extra" reward but what they don't disclose is that if accept this "extra" reward, it automatically disqualifies you from the other rewards, close to $250. Just cheating to get you in because most probably you won't even receive the bundle. After 7 weeks waiting period, they just said that an extra 4 weeks are needed. Would it arrive? I think this is just an AT&T SCAM!
I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T recently. Terrible experience from the beginning! Customer service is non-existent! Wait time to speak to a rep was greater than an hour multiple times! Additionally, my bill contained duplicate charges.
This company is nothing but THIEVES DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They took all the money off my card and twice as much as they should have and LIRD about they cost and you cannot get BILLING they are smart ellecks and ROBBERS! I am suing this company, anyone who deals with them BEWARE!

AT&T without any prior warning increased the Bill. Called AT&T and asked them why you breached the contract, 6 months short from the expiration date. They said we have the right to increase the bill in an active contract, but you have no right to terminate the contract without paying the early termination fee. Are there rules? There are no rules. Looks like we have infinitely large freedom, but infinitely small rights if not able to hire a good lawyer. Lesson learned.
First – never use Auto-Pay to avoid duplicate, or fraudulent billing for fabricated fees, during the service and after canceling the service.
Second – Avoid the landline phone from the bundle. Using magic jack I pay only $3 a month compared with $40 a month with AT&T. Using a good noise filter, with a 3 ft short phone line for the main phone set, connected 3 wireless phones around my home I have a better sound quality than with AT&T.
Third – If you are not far from TV broadcasting antenna, use an indoor antenna. I am able to receive 52 crisp channels with an indoor antenna.
Forth – With chromacast and a designated $100 laptop, you can stream more than with AT&T.

Went to the ATT store at 8205 Martin Way E Suite A, Lacey, WA *******. Never go to this store. They have the worst attitude and a total lack of customer focus. Went to pay off my iPhone and upgrade my service. Eliyah their customer representative wanted to scan my driver's license. I told him that I did not want my drivers license in a database. He said that without that he could not provide me with service. I told him that I had been provided with service without my ID last month. He then got loud and told me to leave the store. On the way to the door he would not let me speak. He kept saying "I will not do it" Loudly to interrupt me. I finally told him to let me speak. I told him that his customer service skills were lacking. He told me that his skills were great that I sucked.?! He said that he was going to call his manager. I left the store and from the outside I saw him call. I reentered and asked him to let me talk to the manager. He hung up the phone and told me to leave the store because I was agitated. That was the worst customer experience ever and as a result of it both me and my wife are looking to switch from ATT to a competitor. Do not waste your time with ATT!

AT&T: The worst company in the world
I have been forced to use AT&T for over 20 years due to them monopolizing my neighborhood. I have been trapped in 8-18 mbps speeds. I have reported them to the FTC, gone to office of the president, and spent thousands of hours on the phones with them due to disconnects, subpar service, incorrect billing, the list goes on. One Source just started offering copper and fiber in my neighborhood. I switched immediately! The nightmare with AT&T however, has not ceased. They are forcing me to pay for another month of service though I disconnected my service and am not in a contract. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are literally one of the worst companies in the world.

$285 a month for 3 cell phone lines, Cable, and Internet. And none of them work reliability.
5 of my family members have cell phone service with AT&T, all of us experience multiple dropped calls or no signal at home and even outside our home, on new and old Iphones, throughout San Diego, I can even identify several dead spots along several roads and areas in San Diego. This has been the case for years.
We use WiFi service for calls when at home. The reception is typically poor.
And recently, their internet service / bandwidth is getting really bad, I am not able to dial into teleconferences, when working from home, the internet connection cuts off in the middle of teleconferences, although I am using and paying for a new high end router.
The quality of the cable service is no where close to HD, we have a 65 inch TV, and high end receiver from AT&T, the resolution quality is very poor, and the picture flickers, it hurts to watch, let alone ads. We stopped watching cable we rely on Netflix and Amazon prime - when AT&T internet works!

I get att because they offer for 3 lines (30 dollars per line with trade in phones and I did trade my iPhones) looks me a good deal but a soon I get the service 1 week after I get a bill with an amount of 390 dollars I call customer service and they say that they going to fix the bill to the right amount but its been more than 1 moths and the bill is the same nothing change and they suspend my lines because they ask me ta pay the bill in order to restore my lines I try to call to customer service but they say I must to pay that bill
I check the bill and they issue the bill at the same time and they close the bill same day when I get the offer
It can be like that 1 day off service for 390 dollars its very ridiculous
I do not recommend att its very bad customer service and they are a big liars

So I paid my phone off after they argued with me for two months on how much I owe. I showed up to the store twice to pay a portion and they told me no you had to pay the whole amount or none. I asked them how much would my plan be after I paid my phone and they told me. I paid it off and my bill is STILL 20 DOLLARS MORE. I called and called they said 24/7 hour customer service… I just want to tell you that's COMPLETE BULL$#*!T. All offices are closed after like 6 on fridays I'm so livid. I pay so much more for a good company to DROP MY CALLS, get $#*! $#*! service, and for you to first off over charge me after I paid my phone off and secondly I have been a customer for YEARSSSS NOW. This is bull and I will be changing. ANYTHING HAS TO BE BETTER THEN THIS COMPANY. DONT DO IT.

The wait time for a representative is ridiculous! The wait times are always 30 minutes to an hour and if you ask for a callback, they always call at inconvenient times!
Tip for consumers:
Evidently they need some more customer service representatives to answer phones when a customer calls not call you back in 2-3 hours or 2 days later! This is very inconvenient!

I called AT&T Rewards Center today since I received an AT&T rewards Visa card for $100 and due to some mailing issues with our home address, by the time I got the possession of this Rewards VISA Card, the Card was already expired and I couldn't activate/use my $100 rewards Visa Card.
So, I called AT&T Rewards Center to issue me a new card and they told me that they will not reissue me another card since it was my fault to not use the card.
I have been an AT&T customer since 2007 and this is a bad customer service from AT&T to make a loyal older customer upset about just $100 and AT&T will lose a loyal customer starting today itself.

I switched my phone service from T-Mobile to AT&T in July 2023. I had issues with the service 2 weeks later. The phones went into SOS mode and I couldn't make any calls. I had to leave work and find a store to get help. After that o couldn't get any service at work, which was unbelievable. I decided not to keep the service because of those issues. My Mom is in a memory care facility and I have a trucking business, so my phone service is needed 24/7 and very important. I left AT&T and went back to t-mobile.,
AT&T drafted my bank account for 1,336.85, which I didn't realize until a week later. I went to the same store and the agent was very rude and insensitive. I was never told that if the service didn't work for me that this would happen or I would have never left t-mobile. I expressed my concerns to the ago at the time of purchase about if I could get service at my job. The agent assured me that the service wouldn't be a problem because they have towers by my job. Well it wasn't true because I couldn't get service on my job and my phones went into SOS mode.
I am very disappointed and hurt. I will never use this service or recommend it to anyone. The customer service agent is horrible with customers.

Costumer service Ha what a joke and beware if you try to upgrade you may have to come outa pocket if you upgrade before your expiration date of current plan because you will not be credited WTF and I always thought that if you order something you don't get it until you pay just because I select something shouldn't affect my plan until you pay but not AT&T they erase your plan and automatically upgrade now you are stuck making a payment or no service until the check comes on the 1 no sympathy for my situation or disability I have Cerebral palsy a phone is how I communicate and survive without it I'm forced to walk when I really cant

ZERO STARS. I had Verizon for years and the same number for 10+ years, I switched to at&t(biggest mistake ever) and had nothing but problems with my text as soon as I went to them. Most texts wouldn't go out and I couldn't receive and eventually my entire texting system would shut down with an error message saying, "unsupported content". I bought new phones and even took it as far as changing my number because they said that was the only thing that would fix it. Two months after changing my number, the same thing started happening again with the text. January 4th, 2024, I go back to Verizon and buy a brand new Google Pixel 8. Some of my friends and people I need to talk to weren't getting my messages and I wasn't getting theirs. So I sat on tech support for 3 days, hours at a time trying to figure this out. Verizon even ALREADY gave me a replacement phone and changed SIM card. I realized that all these people I couldn't talk to all have at&t so I just called at&t and they said I won't be able to communicate with anyone that has at&t service until SIXTY DAYS after my port to Verizon. And there's nothing they can do to fix it. So if you don't want to deal with this, I would stay as far away from at&t as possible. They have cost me SO much money and time. I literally use my text for work on a daily basis to make money for the company I work with and changing my number completely screwed my loan business. STAY AWAY!

Back in Aug 2022. This company was hired by AT&T, to put fiber optics underground in my back yard, this company cut my power line and at the same time it blow the motherboard on my 2 yr old Samsung refrigerator. It took the Samsung guy a week to come out to fix it and in the meantime I lost roughly $600 dollars. Well it took them a month to replace my power line wanting me to pay out and they would reimburse me. I'm not putting out $5000 to $6000 and wait for them to reimburse me (it took them 6 weeks to fix it.) Even after I was complaining of lights flickering and breakers flipping off. So finally a lady reached out to me about the loss of food, I sent pic. And receipt of what i had the rest was back statements showing weekly trips to HEB to replenish my food supplies. Last contact I had was Nov. 11,2022. Now she has stopped replying to me weekly update emails. At the start of all this AT&T washed their hands and said it was Ansco fault, even though AT&T hired them as sub-contractors... I'm so angry and frustrated. I'm not sure what else to do except report them both to BBB, and go up the corporate office ladder..

Just attempted to switch our internet service to AT&T, since they now offer fiber in our area and were offering 1-year free HBO Max and $100 VISA card. Chatted online with a rep about switching and specifically asked if there were any cancellation fees/contract. She directly said no fees/contract to join. I again stated that we wanted to make sure we could cancel without any fees if we weren't happy with their service, and she again said there were no fees and pressured me to sign up. I did sign up and received the contract the following day. The contract states they DO charge an ETF (Early Termination Fee) of $180. I could not believe she would deliberately lie about this to get my business. I immediately called AT&T and told them to cancel the order, and also asked for the name of the agent and a copy of the transcript of our conversation. I was told they didn't know the agent's name and I couldn't get a copy. All of this tells me that AT&T does not stand behind their business practices, which are shady at best. So disappointed that a company would deceive customers to get their business. They have so many bad reviews online and based on my experience, they seem to be well-deserved.

I recently had an unpleasant experience with an AT&T agent at the Costco who misled me into trying their service for 7 days with the promise that I could return the modem if I was not satisfied. However, when I received the modem and decided not to try the service, the agent instructed me to return the modem to AT&T through UPS without opening the box. Despite returning the modem as instructed, I continued to receive bills for the service that I never used.
I contacted the agent several times to dispute the bills, but I was repeatedly assured that the issue had been resolved with the manager. To my disappointment, I continued to receive more bills and the agent eventually informed me that I had to pay all the bills, even though I had returned the modem on time and never used the service. I lost my phone, which contained all the chat messages that could have supported my case.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience that caused me undue stress and financial burden. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious of the AT&T trial offer and to be aware of the risks of trusting their agents. I hope that AT&T can take steps to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers in the future.
Overall, I cannot recommend AT&T based on my experience.

Worst customer service in the nation. I have not been able to access my email for 30 days. Case numbers associated withbthis issue are M*******, M******* and M*******. I have spoken to 3 supervisors of the Technical department ( Sam, id# SC234H, Jason id# JM411U, Mel id# RF114K, and a Tony who refused to give me her ID #). These all have claimed that I needed to fill out a form to have someone contact me to reset the password to my sub email account. It has been 31 days since this form was complete.it has been 34 days since I have been able to access my email. Now I am being told it'll be another 30 or 60. I don't want apologies. I don't want I understands. I want my email!
