AT&T won't unlock my phone and won't tell me why. Not on a contract, no payment is due, 20+ years as a customer. Have been on hold for over 2 hours in current call to customer service.
Today I spoke with Chris Mariele about several topics. I am a new AT&T customer. She was excellent. Very professional but personized my concerns. She answered my questions and fixed several items. Very good representative of this company.
I have been a long time wireless account holder with AT&T 2 years ago when I upgraded my phone I wanted to add the next feature. I contacted them on multiple occasions within the 14 day time period you are supposed to have to add the feature. I was lied to and told it was added and when I tried to upgrade last year I found out it was not added. Now I want to upgrade to the iPhone 15 and I have to pay off my device in order to do so because I do not have the next feature. But my sister has an iPhone 14 and her device is upgrade eligible which makes no sense. Considering I have had my device for 2 years. So last month I was told once 24 payments were made towards my device I would be eligible for an upgrade and now that's not the case. I am tired of all the lies with them. Time to find a new service provider the lies and back and forth are ridiculous. I have been a customer for over 15 years and I feel that I am not valued as a customer any longer.
I paid for two months for a device they said they could make work and never could. I was still charged for the line, transfer of data and the insurance...then...charged again for dropping the line I never had. Really? Yes, spent countless hours of try this, turn on, turn off, read these numbers, hold on transferring, to the same bull all over; for months.
I needed help with my Internet quickly as my daughter was in the middle of doing her homework. Victor came to the rescue on 10/26/2023 round 5pm. Thank you Victor (West African accent) for your speedy professionalism. AT&T is lucky to have you on board.
I do not even have an account with AT&T and called them because someone hacked my debit card to pay $300 on a bill of theirs, spoke with a couple different people and confirmed i do not have an account! And basically told me it was fraud and that it would take 7-10 business days to file a fraud case. And then they would mail me a check. Really a check after you took money from my account, unauthorized! They refused to give me any information of whole stole my debit card to pay their at&t single line wireless bill! So in the mean time my account is overdrawn and i out of lick with at&t and these idiots- not once bit twice are trying to offer me to open and at&t account. I stopped the 2nd guy from asking before i was very rude about it. I called because unauthorized money was pulled and over drew my account and you have the audacity to try and get me to open an account with a company which apparently is not very secure!
Very Very Very baaaad company. The worst customer service, Big liars, big scammers. Very bad service Internet garbage Pay money for no reason. I made the worst mistake in my life switching with at&t. They tell you one thing and do the opposite. They got me switching from T-Mobile to them and saying my bill would get cheaper and I'll have new devices with no charge but it was a BIG lies. I don't recommend it whatsoever to anyone.
WORST customer service ever today is the 3rd day straight that I call to get this issue resolved and every time that I have called I been left on hold for a long period of time and then hung up on. I been given false information, I been talked to like if I am stupid. Mater fact as I'm typing this bad review I'm on hold with AT&T customer service been on the phone for 1hr and 29 minutes someone picked up and I was put on hold without even being told as soon as the lady heard my reason for the call. I hate this I hate AT&T DO NOT recommend getting service with them like I said you are given false information, the customer service is the WORST! And let's not forget the hidden fees, Yup! They give you a price and next thing you know your bill is way over then what were obviously told. Cutting my lines and going with T-MOBLE NEVER had this problem with them of unfortunately for personal problems I had to leave them but now I can go back with them because this so call "company" is the worst, 1hr and 36 minutes and I'm still on hold.
I don't even know where to begin. This company doesn't even know their own rules and guidelines. Everyone person you talk to has a different answer. They always add random fees to my bills and then refuse to take them off. They change my insurance plans without my consent, to the most expensive plan. And then tell me they can't adjust it again because once you upgrade you can't go back. They are full of $#*! liars. I've never been lied to more by a company that AT&T. I'm not one to get upset easily, especially about stuff like this. But this time I have serisouly been pushed to the edge. I upgraded to a new phone recently, traded in a PIF IPhone 13 in with no damanges (they only gave me a $20 credit by the way). They added $50 worth of fees that I had no knowledge of, changed my insurance plans to highest rates possible and refused to change them back, and lied about prices TO MY FACE. They want nothing but money. This company is incredibly unprofessional. You pay for their employees mistakes *******% of the time. They do not give you money back. And their employees mess up a LOT. I understand in this world, people make mistakes. But, when me as a customer has to pay for the consequences MULTIPLE times, I think we know who the problem is. I am ashamed that I actually pay money to this company each month. As soon as I can I am SWITCHING. I would at least rather give my money to a company that values the people that keeps the lights on. DO BETTER!
They are trash with custom service att is no help they lie to customers tell us one day for a payment arrangement then tell us another date i will be foling a huge lawsuit against att i hate the way they do things and over top of that they have foreign people u can't understand i hate everything about att
If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are BIG SCAMMERS. My husband went to Costco and they had their booth their scamming people so one of those scammers got my husband into switching with them where we had the best service with t-mobile for 7 years + they said we will have new devices and our bill will be 160 total. Apparently it was a lie. First month they said our bill would be a lil higher because of the devices and until they receive the old devices they will give us credit back for our old phone. And that didn't happen. My husband talked to them and they said we will credit it for you just have to pay 192 and we said ok we will pay 192 they promised that this was the amount we would pay for 3 years. We just got a bill for 201 again. And we called and one of the supervisor lies and says no we can't do 192 because you have to pay taxes for government some bull$#*! stuff. I just want everyone to know that At&t is a big scam and I don't ever recommend anyone going with them. Now we are stuck with them for 3 years. Other thing is that their service sucks the data is very slow. When your outside there is no service it just keeps loading. Worst decisions we made we switch with these scammers.
ATT customer service is not customer friendly. ATT charges upgrade fees for device change ( not an early upgrade) without giving a heads up when old phone is traded in for a new phone. They lock customers for 3 years showcasing deceptive offers. I don't know what the government bodies are doing.
Call AT&T about my Mom new phone line explained the situation that her phone line was not on. The worst experience ever got transferred back and forth from customer service to technical support over 10 times and each time had to start from the beginning. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT&T at all if this is how they treat people. And my Mom issue was not resolved.
If I could give a 0 star I would they screwed up in the store when they set up my account now to add a line or upgrade or anything I have to pay the full amount (1200$) on the phone because they never added the cost of the phone in with my monthly service payment.
They are professionals scammers, I been without intérnenle for two weeks, we been trying to get the router working and to activate the a count but it doesn't work they sent us the wrong number of an account that we already canceled. We talked with a representative and they say we have to wait 3 days to see if the account gets activated. This is the worst, I'm a college student, my brother and my sister in law too, we been going to the school library and coffee shops to do our school work and we also work. I have to take my HESI exam next week and I can't no properly study. This company is the worst and they don't care about the costumer, they don't care if one costumer is having problems if they have 9 that don't.
If I could I would give them -10. I talked to Kaylee who told us pricing with everything included. We were going to pay 180 to 190 monthly. Turns out they scam you, our bill is $250 monthly! They are horrible at customer service and don't care. As long as they can make money off of you, they don't care how they treat you or over price you. I regret transferring to this POS company.
AT&T Request Status: Tracking Number CM*******_*******. I closed out my business account in August in full- about $700 plus. October 3rd I was "accidently" charged for over $545. I was promised that the refund would be completed in 3-5 business days. It is now 10/23 and nothing has been done. I have now been on hold with one phone for 2:47:19 hours the land line 4+ minutes. With an average time cost of 45-70 minutes for customer service call (I am a business client), I would expect something much better. This is the third/fourth time calling just to fix this issue. Not to mention having my job in jeopardy from poor/lack-of service (flight attendant). I now have about 4 overdraft fees at $30 each and still on hold with both phones as I am typing this. Does anyone care, work at AT&T?
I remember once in Reno off Lemmon Valley Rd, going to the store to simply pay my bill... Door locked and when I knocked a girl came to the door and said she was by herself on a call and could not help me. I asked when she could, she replied, "after this phone call, I have lunch" so asked me to come back in a couple of hours.
Yup... Still on hold both phones- 2:54:48 on my cell phone and 4:48 on my land line. Still racking up non-sufficient funds from "accidently being left on autopay". Do you think if I did not pay them (after promising to) for 20 days would I have service? I think not. Still on hold... 3:04:39 cell/ landline 4:58. Update: 3:11:45 on my cell and 5:05 on my landline. I will keep finding places to leave reviews while I wait for a human. What else can I do?
Every time I call i have to be called back and is usually 1-2 hours WAIT FOR A CALLBACK. No one knows what they are doing and how it fix it. It took me 3 days to make a payment for crying out loud! I tried on-line and my account is attached to a Direct TV account that i never wanted or authorized and it won't let me sign in, ever! I just paid my phone off and am changing carriers ASAP! It's a total nightmare and I can see why they have the service rating they have. On top of all that, they are too expensive! RUN as fast as you can from this NIGHTMARE!
Horrible service. I called them three times (took multiple hours each time) because our last bill came out to be 700 ish dollars. All three times, they told me that they will lower down the bill to about 200 ish dollars. But all three times, they never changed the statement amount. Like if they couldn't lower the amount, why didn't they tell me…instead, I had to waste 3-4 hours of my time contacting them. Before the 700 dollar bill, I would usually pay about 130 ish dollars a month. Then the very last month, they suddenly up-charged us by over 500 dollars. Do not recommend them. There are other services that are much more affordable and better (in terms of internet speed and service) than AT&T. If I could give no stars, I would..
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
