The person who took my order misspelled my email so I couldn't look up the status of my order, and I had to change my order. I got a text saying they had *******@xxx for my email but it was clearly misspelled. I had to change the kind of order and responded to the text because it was the only way I could ask for the change in time. So I never got a response to my text, didn't get an email to my new address (that I gave them in the text), and when I called today I found out they delivered the wrong thing!
I told them it was their fault because they put the wrong email in and didn't get my text message (then why the heck did they contact me by text?)
So they offered me a 10 dollar refund--nowhere near what I spent on the original order. When I asked to talk to someone higher up the person said she was the customer service manager and she refused to budge even though it was THEIR FAULT.
Now all my money is wasted. My friend will not see the flowers until the flowers are dead.
They spend alot of time lying to you about where your flowers are or should be and how they're going to contact you back when they hear from the florist. You will not hear from them and your flowers will not be delivered. This company is a scam!
This place is a scam and a disaster! Claim to be a "family owned business" but when you call customer support you get a call center and their reps barely speak English and are not helpful at all! I place and order that was supposed to be delivered before 2:00, and at 6:00 I got a confirmation text and email that the flowers were delivered. Only problem was that the person never received them. I called customer service and after 15 minutes of them saying the flowers were delivered and me saying that the person did not receive them the rep said someone would call me back in a bit. 2 DAYS and 4 phone calls later to call centers who are no help at all, I am supposed to get a call from a supervisor. Some "family owned" business. This place a horrible scam. Shop local, and DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!. Call a local company yourself rather than outsource to a third party and get stuck with call centers all over the globe if you have a problem.
We live in Rochester, NY and ordered "Belise Sunrise" from Avas Flowers in Huntersville, NC for our son and daughter-in-law. My wife also went through most of the complaints listed previously. Our son sent a photo of what was sent and the arrangement was like 'weeds' compared to the photo on the website. Tried to complain and got the usual BS double talk - they sent another replacement which was a better arrangement of 'weeds'. Called to try for refund and got $8.40 out of original $56.00 spent. Bottom line - do not business with this company, you will be very disappointed.
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my brother in laws funeral. Placed my order for a beautiful arrangement to be delivered to the church a half hour prior to the service, I ordered it a week prior to funeral. We live in Washington St, they live in Alaska. The morning of the Service I received a text to contact them about the flowers. 3 hours prior I received a text, called them, they couldn't deliver it because they didn't have enough staff! I am angry. We were unable to get more delivered. Please, do not use them for your flower needs.

I did reach the customer service agent and not only did they refund for the rush delivery now they have to refund on the blooms. This company pretends to be local they are not very brokerage firm that farms out Your business but will not tell you who's handling it ordered my flowers 10 days in advance for 27th year anniversary while I was working out of state ordered 2 dozen red roses a card and balloon for $150 called 3 times on day of delivery to ensure that they were going to be there as of 8 o'clock on the night of my anniversary nothing arrived no resolution everyone on the phone said don't worry theyll be there they're not they're crushed that I was unable to provide my wife anything on our anniversary terrible terrible business practices just so disappointed
I am giving them a 1, because there is no "0". The $43.00 flowers I ordered actually cost me $81.00. They promised same day delivery, when they didn't show up, I called. They told me the flowers were delivered and refused to refund my money. They told me they would investigate and call back, 3 hours later I called them. They told me the flower shop was closed and would not have answers until Monday. The time line for all this was Thursday order with promise of delivery around 2PM same day, Called customer service Friday around 1PM, second call around 4PM. Deliver was made Friday around 2PM. I understand why 243 reviews average 1.1, now there are 244 negative reviews! BTY this is my first negative review ever. I found this is the same issue as many of the other reviews! NEVER AGAIN!
I was looking for a place to send someone flowers i found them i called them and placed a order on the phone and told them address and everything they repeated it and it was right but i got a text that something was wrong and they got it worong so i called and they updated it then the next day its at the wrong house i would not recommend this place not even a one star and they would not even redeliver.
They delivered the wrong flowers and almost a week later we still do not have the correct arrangement. They have promised that they would be delivered by 3 pm today and again we are getting the run around. They tell us that they were delivered but they were not Thank goodness this was not for a birthday. BUYER BEWARE.
Never order to this flower company or youll regret it. Everything on their pictures on site, once you order it, it will not be the same item or color comes to you in short false adevertisement. Theres alot if errors in terms of choosing your flowers putting it on the basket section and checkout.do yourself a favor dont waste your money ordering flowers to them.
The arrangement we ordered was never delivered. We were told " the designer didn't have the flowers to fulfill the order". We also got the run around when demanding a full credit for the $250 order! Horrible place with a robo-style call center being pawned off as customer service. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY Who are they, anyway?
Be very careful doing business with this company - I think this company may be a scam. The plant we ordered was not delivered and when we contacted customer service several days later, they told us the plant we wanted was not available. We asked for a refund and all of sudden the plant was on a delivery truck. We didn't trust the info and asked again for a refund. The first rep put us on hold, transferred us then hung up on us. When we called back, we got the same run around. The second call took over 30 minutes and 23 minutes waisted with a customer service rep that did not do anything to process the refund. We were finally transferred to a supervisor but its now over 30 minutes and the Supervisor put us on hold again. I stayed on the line and we were finally given a refund confirmation number but it will be a few days before the bank card can confirm this. Now we can just hope this wasn't an expensive lesson learned.
We ordered flowers from AvasFlowers for a funeral. We ended up diving over 3 hours to the funeral and after the funeral looked for our flowers. THEY WERE NOT THERE. The funeral director called the local Dillons grocery store and they did get the order from Ava's but didn't have time to get the arrangement made and delivered. We told them we no longer wanted the order and to give us a refund. They told us they would contact Ava's and get us a refund. AVA's never processed the refund! If you try calling them, you will eventually be hung up on with no actual human to talk to.
My mom tried sending my sister flowers and a teddy bear for her birthday who lives in another state and the day of her birthday they flowers ended up at my moms house. Then they resent it to my sister, my mom got told it was delivered but it was never actually delivered. Gave my mom the run around. I believe they give people the run around to get a little extra coin, my mom had to pay an extra $10 to get it rerouted. A**holes!
Ordered same day delivery flowers. Recd confirming email that delivery was same day or next day " not guaranteed"... day later got email wouldn't be for another day. Went on website to cancel, was told call Customer Service to cancel, bottom line was told they'll refund less $17 service fee. Went into lengthy explanation of how it's on their website etc... but the fee isnt not does it reference that when your paying... never will
I used to be able to ice skate, but I can't now so I don't tell people I can. When a business says they can deliver same day flowers and can't. What is that?!? I HAD to call back twice to provide information they did not ask for on the site only to STILL have the flowers not delivered. Oh, did I mention these were sympathy flowers…because these classless people asked for my friends information to apologize for their incompetence …ON THE WORST DAY OF THEIR LIVES. I've never heard of something so tacky. Shame, shame, shame on this company. We want to help small businesses and then come across this garbage. Shame on me for not doing better research. This company does not deliver. This company is not local. This company is not even a florist. Everything about this company is a lie. They present themselves as a local flower shop, they are not. They promise delivery, they do not. They say they have great reviews, they do NOT. This is someone in their home pretending to be a company. They are the lowest of the lows, the worst of the worst. I ordered a beautiful orchid plant ( online) with a mylar balloon for my sisters 60th birthday. The orchid arrived and card arrived but the mylar balloon was missing. I called 3 times and asked them to deliver the balloon as I paid a pretty price for what I had ordered. They messed up and should of put the customer first, which they did not! I will not reccomend Ava's Flowers and I personally will never order from them again.
Please do not use this florist. A family friend recommended this florist because she heard they were good but she personally never used them. I placed an order for a sympathy arrangment to be delivered to the church - never got delivered. The mornin of my sister's funeral apparently they were blowing up my phone because they needed the address to the churchwhich I had already provided and they were all set. I was getting ready for my sister's funeral and distraught and they are trying to call me.
Anyway I demanded a refund which at first they were giving me a hard time. They wanted to still ship the flowers after the funeral was done- like the next day. BTW you speak to people from India so it was even more frustrating. They eventually gave me my refund back. This company sucks and the fact that my beautiful sister who passed away didn't even get sent flowers from me. This company shouldn't even be in business if they can't even deliver flowers to a church.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
