I sorely wish I could leave a no-star review, because I would. My 16-year old son is living out of state right now and tried to order me flowers for our first Mother's Day apart. He got absolutely screwed out of $80 of his own money because he found this camel fodder company who advertised themselves as "local", didn't deliver any flowers, and texted him last night at 11 pm that his order could not be fulfilled. GARBAGE INDIVIDUALS WHO SCREW PEOPLE and have the gumption to tell me to f*** off when I called them.
I received a phone call 1 hour 45 minutes before a funeral. I placed the order on Saturday, April 23rd so no excuse to be calling less than 2 hours before said service. I spoke to 3 different people to confirm the arrangement was delivered. They promised to send a photo ( never did) as my sister sent. Sharing both photos… I ordered the basket so I was completely taken by surprise of the substitution! I never authorized such an arrangement. I've asked for someone to call me back to no avail. I've tried to upload both photos and this system is not letting me. Don't waste your time or money! Call a local florist and actually speak with the business owner!
Thought I was ordering from a local florist, not sure where they're located as were shipped via UPS. They sent me multiple messages a day after I ordered to ask my permission to substitute and deliver a day later in exchange for more flowers. I ask for a photo representation of what they would send and they said it was not available. I accepted and realized I had made a poor choice. On the left is what I ordered, on the right is what was received.

Ordered upgraded 'Sunset in Belize' on Monday for Tuesday delivery. After numerous outright lies from customer service rep, they were just delivered Thursday from a GROCERY STORE! Not even close to what the arrangement ordered was and looking at the flowers they already have brown on the petals. I was repeatedly told that I could not be reached to indicate delivery moved to Wednesday because my number is international (Cleveland, Ohio). Also told it was a REDELIVERY, but then verified delivery never attempted. Finally assured that local floral designer will prepare and deliver today. Wait, now they are out of Gerba daisies but will substitute (by the floral DESIGNER) with equal or more expensive flowers. So, in essence, Ava's Floral accepted my order, took payment, did not meet their obligations, lied about their mistakes and then delivered PREMIUM floral arrangement from a GROCERY STORE that is two sprigs of spray roses, two clumps of asteria, five pieces of fern leaves, and one hot pink daisy (like you see at gas stations).
Utterly embarrassed that the recipient thinks this cheap looking GROCERY STORE arrangement was my choice.

I ordered flowers for my job mom March 21,2022 at 11am for a delivery to be made on that day. Here it is March 22,2022 still waiting on the delivery. I will never order from this place again. They will get a bad review from me on every website that will allow me.
Feedback. DONT EVER GO THROUGH AVAS FLOWERS. They cant make good on a same day delivery promise. EVEN WHEN YOU PAY EXTRA TO HAVE THE DELIVERY EXPEDITED! Told me that the expedite fee would be refunded... it has not been. The original charge of 91 dollars is still attached to my card with no adjustment made (on a 34 dollar bouquet)... yea, they hammer that much for a local delivery... AND HERE IS THE KICKER! THE FLOWERS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE AT WORK FOR MY GIRLFRIEND. THEY CALLED HER WORK AND GOT AHOLD OF HER TO LET HER KNOW THESE FLOWERS WOULDNT BE IN TODAY! BUT THAT THEY WOULD BE IN TOMORROW! THANKYOU FOR NOT HAVING ANY REMOTE FORM OF TACT AND RUINING WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A ROMANTIC SURPRISE!

I thought I was using a local florist when I ordered flowers for a friend's 60th birthday. First, I was told what I ordered was unavailable so they had substituted with a dozen red roses. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this to a customer service representative who said she understood. Next, I found out the flowers would be delivered a day later than I scheduled. I ordered the flowers 2 days before my friend's birthday and they were going to be delivered by UPS a day late. The final straw was what they actually sent was different colored roses that looked awful. She said that they had finally perked up. It was embarrassing and expensive. Will NEVER use this company again. Wish I had seen these reviews. Very misleading when I googled a flower shop in the town where my friend lives. This came up and I thought it was local.
Completely botched the order for my 5 year anniversary. Not only did they miss the deadline they were going to miss the day completely. Offered a 15% off
First their site allowed me to select same day delivery free promo code, then at check out they added a $20. Xx service charge after I gave info. Then changed date to next day. Well next day they said next day AGAIN! Another day came and went They sent a notice that they delivered but I called and they said they would deliver the next day for s cond time. Guess what. They noticed me they delivered but after verifying they said they were not delivered and they will deliver next day. The guy I spoke to on phone wasn't even in the US and there was a rooster crowing over him while he tracked order, seriously! I asked for a refund but I doubt I will get it. Who knows who has my credit card info now. They lied numerous times said they delivered then retracted.
Do not waste your time with them. Too many other legitimate companies. Oh I forgot to mention, they offered to compensate me after the first failure to deliver then they never did. I did finally receive a cancellation confirmation.
My fiance ordered me an arrangement with gifts. The order arrived 4 days late and was incomplete! My roses were dying and just thrown in the vase. It had a Dollar Tree bear with two different size eyes facing inward as well as the heart shaped candy. It literally looked liked someone's child made it. The delivery instructions were not followed. This was just an unprofessional and unacceptable purchase! I see why they have received so many 1's for reviews. This was a horrible experience! The Floral company that they used via the card that was attached is called Floristeria Vanidades with Pedro Serrano listed as the owner need to do better by giving the consumers quality products that are worth purchasing! We are upset, highly disappointed and will not be using Ava's Flowers ever again!
I spent a lot of time selecting a bouquet, giving the name address and phone number of the recipient, writing sympathy card message, giving my name address, email, credit card information, billing address, shipping choice, etc. When I finally got to the last page where you click to pay, there was an expense previously mentioned, almost $22, for a "service charge." This was not for delivery, which was a separate charge. I sent the same review to the company's website, but it has not shown up there. Perhaps they screen the reviews, since I don't see anything but positive reviews on their website.
I received 2 dozen roses for my anniversary. The vase was almost as long as the flowers, so the flowers looked stuffed into a vase and not arranged. It was 180 bucks. It's not worth the price.
I ordered flowers for my sick sister. The flowers never made it to her until 3 days later.$72. Sad
We ordered a $150 funeral spray to be delivered to the funeral home. They contacted me the day of the viewing saying they we sorry but they were unable to deliver my flowers on time for for viewing but would deliver them before the funeral the next day. They sent me an email 1 hr before the funeral service saying they were unable to deliver for the funeral but if I gave them a home address, they would send them to the home. I cancelled my order and they did give me my refund. I will NEVER order from this company again. What a huge disappointment at such as sad time!
*BUYER BEWARE** ordered flowers on Monday was told they would be delivered that day. Call to verify customer service stated flowers already delivered on Monday. Flowers were not delivered on Monday. Called & called on Tuesday was told they would be delivered on Tuesday. Flowers were not delivered. Call today Wednesday 2/9/22. States flowers would be delivered today. Flowers were received but NOT what I ordered. Oh yeah, they refunded me $15.00 for my trouble. Do NOT use this company. Terrible service.
I paid $84.99 what looks like I could of picked in my back yard. Looks nothing like the picture. Very disappointing. Will never order from them again. Very deceiving
After at least 20 minutes on the phone with a representative going over my order and giving my information I look at the confirmation and discover I was lied to multiple times when I placed my order. First lie-was told my daughter would receive her fruit on a stick basket today, the day I ordered.
Nope, confirmation said basket was goung to be delivered the next day. Second lie- I was very explicit that I wanted fruit on a stick. I asked the girl three times at least if she was sure they had this and I would be able to order this. Confirmation said my daughter would get a fruit basket. Third lie- ordered a medium. Confirmation said small. The people we speak to are not at the store they are I'm guessing in New Jersey. From my experience, if you call to place an order, the representatives will say anything to get your order. It's scummy, dishonest, $#*!s like this which make you afraid to trust anyone. What should have been a pleasant experience ordering my daughter something for her birthday has turned into an hour long ordeal. Do not order anything from this scum company.

I ordered on the 16th for a 17th delivery which didn't happen, the birthday flowers arrived a day late because of short staff, too busy, something about weather, the did notify me at 3:55 day of, too late to place with another florist. It was supposed to be a surprise and the recipient was actually home the 16th, but I was forced to share the recipients # to coordinate delivery the next day - no surprise. There are 4 options, luxury grade is highest, hardly luxury especially for the price, I mean I can't imagine how much smaller each step-down would be. Will NOT order again! You shouldn't allow a delivery date if it can't be kept. If you need more time request 2 days ahead. Bad management.
The gourmet fruit and snack gift basket was delivered timely. The recipient reported the basket was "gorgeous." Adding, "the pineapple was the perfect ripeness."
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
