I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful

I HAD ORDERED FROM AVASFLOWERS FOR A FUNERAL. IT WAS MOST UNFORTUNATE THAT THE FLOWERS (OUR CONDOLENCES) WERE NEVER DELIVERED. NO CONTACT WAS MADE TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED EITHER! THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS, THE LICENSE FOR THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PULLED.
I paid $84.99 what looks like I could of picked in my back yard. Looks nothing like the picture. Very disappointing. Will never order from them again. Very deceiving
I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful arrangement. This was hassle free. The experience left me happier than with the bigger National companies. Buy local!
On the 30 April 2018 I ordered a basket of colourful plants for my mothers birthday paying 100 dollars the next day I received an email saying they would send a potted peace Lilly instead I emailed them begging to send something with color as it was my mothers birthday they sent her the peace Lilly anyway few days later the plant started to die my mother panicked and rang Avas for some advice was told not their problem
Used the website (friday afternoon) to order a sympathy arrangement, to be delivered to the funeral home.

I called later on Friday because delivery was not clear.
After checking, the young lady, assured me that delivery would take place Saturday before noon and not to worry.
I checked the website all weekend and could not determine delivery, not impressed.
Monday was very difficult to reach you. Call centre agent answered laughing and re-queued the call before I spoke. Ten minutes later system told me too busy and hung up on me.
Two more calls to get another telephone number from sales agent.
Finally told yesterday Monday, that delivery was made to a church at 900a? Still nothing on website.
I asked for a call-back from the duty supervisor, because I was seriously disappointed. I waited all afternoon for the call.
We know that flowers are for the family left behind and are a show of love and respect.
My arrangement never made it to the viewing. I never gave any church information, no funeral, only mass.
Again I rang this morning asking about a manager calling me. Horrible agent. Sorry no guarantees... you used website. Your fault. No call back. We are too busy. Dying on mother's day...

The flowers I ordered were an embarassment. My wife called me a cheapskate as she believed I could not have spent more than $19 for this anniversary bouquet - which cost $79 and was supposed to be (according to the sales rep) extremely impressive.
Problem is, it was impressive AS IT WAS TERRIBLE.
Customer service repeatedly put me on hold and then disconnected me.
I sent them a picture - at their request - only to be told they NEVER received it - THREE TIMES.
Finally I spoke to a person and they did not hang up. They finally admitted they had the picture. They said everything was as it should be.
Customer service stinks. The flowers stink.
I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF THE OPTION EXISTED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE DISAPPOINTED AND GIVEN THE RUN AROUND.

I used to use 1800 flowers but they constantly messed up my orders. Not once has my order ever been screwed up on avas flowers. The flowers are always fresh and last for at least several days.
I ordered windchimes with stand for my Aunts funeral I payed 140.00 bucks when I saw them I could of bought them at the dollar store never ever will I use your services again when I was placing the order I asked the lady to send me a picture she said she could not do that until I placed my order I never did get a picture the lady also seemed very rushed and I had a hard time understanding her. I really think I will contact the better business because I was never so embarrassed when I saw them.

After at least 20 minutes on the phone with a representative going over my order and giving my information I look at the confirmation and discover I was lied to multiple times when I placed my order. First lie-was told my daughter would receive her fruit on a stick basket today, the day I ordered.
Nope, confirmation said basket was goung to be delivered the next day. Second lie- I was very explicit that I wanted fruit on a stick. I asked the girl three times at least if she was sure they had this and I would be able to order this. Confirmation said my daughter would get a fruit basket. Third lie- ordered a medium. Confirmation said small. The people we speak to are not at the store they are I'm guessing in New Jersey. From my experience, if you call to place an order, the representatives will say anything to get your order. It's scummy, dishonest, $#*!s like this which make you afraid to trust anyone. What should have been a pleasant experience ordering my daughter something for her birthday has turned into an hour long ordeal. Do not order anything from this scum company.

Ordered Easter Sunday tulips for my mom. Ordered from the webpage... tulips WERE available and an order was placed. Then I received a call that the tuips were sold out,even thought my order and credit card were processed. I then had to settle for a dish garden with no flowers in exchange. The dish garden was in no way equal in value to the tulip order which it "relpaced". Dissapointed

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered flowers for my mother's 80th birthday, which obviously was an important event. I ordered them 5 days before her birthday and was assured they would arrive on her birthday. No flowers arrived which was greatly disappointing. When I tried to get a refund they continued to give me the run around not to do it and it took me getting really angry, accusing them of not being a reputable business, and threatening to contact the Better Business Bureau. Once they claimed they canceled the order it took quite awhile to get a cancellation number. And on top of that I was told that it could take up to 10 business days to receive the credit on my VISA card.
I received 2 dozen roses for my anniversary. The vase was almost as long as the flowers, so the flowers looked stuffed into a vase and not arranged. It was 180 bucks. It's not worth the price.
I called to see if they delivered same day the phone rep. Said they may have to deliver next day it was a funeral memorial I was very clear about I needed the flowers delivered same day if not then to not waist my time. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THE REP. WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN MAKING MONEY NOT IN MY INTEREST AT ALL THEY DID NOT HAVE THE COLOR FLOWERS I WANTED FINE, SHE CLEARLY SAID SHE WOULD MAKE SURE MY FLOWERS WOULD ARRIVE SAME DAY... THEY ARRIVED NEXT DAY AND IT WAS 149.00 THE FLOWERS WHERE BEAUTIFUL BUT THE SERVICE AND TIMING WAS AWFUL VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER. All white flowers Delivered whenever they want. Ridiculous. I would add a picture but I did not receive one the family and I where grieving I didn't even get a delivery confirmation after I was very specific about that too. I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING LIED TO.
They are not a legitimate company. They will not deliver. They will up charge everything. DO NOT ORDER.

FIRST AND LAST TIME USING! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Flowers almost didn't get delivered in time, the balloon was nearly flat, roses were brown around the edges and they couldn't even spell a name correctly AFTER it was spelled out for them. And let's not forget to mention the price. OUTRAGEOUS! DO NOT USE!
I had an excellent experience. I ordered flowers for delivery, my Aunt lives in another state than I do. I attached a photo of what I ordered and a photo of what she received.
Ordered flowers and two days later no flowers and the company does not respond to calls or emails. We are going to have to contact our credit card company to dispute the charges to resolve this.

My daughter just moved to MKE. I didn't know which florist to choose. The ease of using Ava's put smiles on both of our faces! The floral arrangement was gorgeous and delivered the same day!
Bad customer service. Called 2 days late and told me they couldn't fulfill my order and would give me a 20% discount. Then called back and said the couldn't fill the expect order. VERY POOR BUSINESS. DON'T ORDER UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH PROBLEMS

I ordered flowers to be delivered on a specific date and paid extra charge to ensure they were received on time. The flowers were never delivered and I spent many hours on the phone and chatting to get them to handle the issue. I was offered to have the flowers delivered on another date and no refund of the purchase. I stated this was not satisfactory as I've not received the product and should have a full refund. I was told that they promise and guarantee I will receive the flowers; however, I never received them on the date as promised and still haven't three days later so how can you guarantee I will get them now. Also this is the first time my husband has ever sent me flowers in 13 years and I never received them. This made for my birthday gift to be ruined. No flowers and no refund! After another round of calls I was advise they will refund my money which they have to because I never received the product.
I would NEVER use this company if you want to receive a purchase you make. My husband spent $150.00 on this flower order and paid extra for the delivery to ensure received on the promised date to never receive them.
