I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I am sooo sorry I placed an order thru Aves Flowers. Their website was easy to navigate and use. However, once the order was placed with an undisclosed service fee and a rush fee for delivery before 2:00 pm. Sun was sunny. Weather was not a factor. Could not get in touch with customer service. Could not get an answer on line. Recieved a text that the arrangement was delivered…. GUESS WHAT! Not recieved! 30 years of service? BEWARE.
Customer service sucks... Lost order today on a Saturday, spent over an hour on phone with delivery dept. Lied to about receiving upgrade and credit. Ava's flowers telephone system sucks, constant hang ups or silence with no one answering telephone.
It's now Monday morning and I spent another 30 minutes on the phone with customer service and they still cannot locate my order because the "design dept" was closed. Told to wait a FEW HOURS BEFORE CALLING BACK TO LOCATE ORDER.

I just spent almost $900.00 on 3 different arrangements for my mothers funeral & 2 out of the 3 arrived LATE, were NOT the large upgrade that I was charged/PAID FOR. I had to rewrite the CORRECT information on all 3 cards. All 3 banners were incorrect as well. I was MORTIFIED. This could NOT have happened at a worse time. I was absolutely EMBARRASSED that 2 out of the 3 arrangements were from me & my family. The pics below are what I ordered vs. what I received.

When I called the day before my Aunt's funeral they said they be able to deliver the next day so I placed the order. The day of the funeral they told me that they would need an alternate address if they couldn't make it to the church on time. An hour later they said that they wouldn't be able to deliver it until the next day! Really? The day AFTER the funeral. I would have gone with someone else if they hadn't been so sure they could deliver it the next day. I don't think a person in New Delhi probably understands what it's like to deliver flowers in rural Nebraska. Yeah, I'm ticked I went with them.

Sent flowers for Mday. Tried these losers and have been regretting it since. First, I got confirmation the flowers were delivered when they weren't. I created a trouble ticket saying the flowers were lost. The flowers were delivered the next day along with the attached note saying they were out of flowers on Mothers Day. Their site also promised some big discount for making my purchase online. The discount was small (7%) and there was a service fee for my purchase of 33ish%. I put a dispute with my credit card company with a print of the note saying they were out of flowers. Their terms of service says in very fine print they are allowed to make small changes to the order. I don't think substituting non-roses for roses is a small change so I felt good about getting my money back. After several months my credit card company came back saying the sleazy company is not willing to issue credit to my account. Wish I did better reseatch before going with these aHoles.

My mom tried to purchase me flowers from this company. First of all they said because of Covid they couldn't deliver it to my business address. When my mom asked for it to be canceled, she got the runaround. On top of this she purchased a $60 floral arrangement that they charged her over $90 for. The $30 plus was for a fee. I never got the flowers. She was still charged. She contacted her credit card company, and they had to cancel it. Then they suggested she cancel her credit card. It's hard for me to believe this cmpany is still in business, or at least is still on the web claiming they are a business. I wouldn't even have given it one star if it was possible.

Avoid at all costs! Only order if you want an arrangement that doesn't represent the photo, delivered to the WRONG PLACE, and delivered 3 days late. Fraud, they put in their system and emailed my husband on WEDNESDAY 2/14 that the arrangement was delivered but on FRIDAY 2/16, today I was called by a stranger to tell me that my flowers has been abandoned at the wrong place and wanted to know if I still wanted them. I wasn't at work but at home. I later received a call from their "customer service" and he and I spent a good amount of time arguing over the address and the fact that the company falsified delivery information. I had to remind the customer service person that I know the address of my work and I seem to be able to find my way there without any issue and don't arrive 3 days late and to the wrong place.
After I promised that I was going to leave reviews and contact the BBB, he said he would reach out to the sender to make it better.
He called my husband and tried to scam him into another arrangement.
Please avoid this company. Save your money and buy from the guys selling on the streets, they're not trying to scam you like these theives.

Avoid this scam. These people are thieves and incompetent. I don't take much to realize you're at the wrong place when the name of the department is in bright red letters.

Received a Christmas arrangement a couple of days before Christmas. Delivered to a corner on porch on a cold evening without notice--no knock, no doorbell, no phone call to let us know it was there. Found it when leaving home around 7:30 a.m. the next morning. There was no notice anywhere indicating the florist it came from. Son told me he ordered from Avas on line. Could not get through by phone and need to be the person ordering with all the order information to get through on line. Didn't want to seem ungrateful to sender so let it go. Arrangement didn't even last a week. Had to take it apart as it started to smell. Never seen arrangement put together just tied with a piece of floral tape and stuck in water. Expected that it would have been in floral foam. None of the leaves were picked from the steam so all was soaking and rotting in water. Don't know what florist it came from, but I've received many arrangements from my kids in the past but never put together like this and never with no identification of where it was coming from.

They're are not a "local" florist. It's a scam. They make it appear as thought they are a local florist but they are not. Look at the URL - you can change it to any city and state and it appears as though it is local. My sister ordered an arrangement for delivery 2 days before Christmas and was told it would be delivered by 23rd or 24th. Never happened. When she called on Christmas to ask where are the flowers she was told it would be delivered on the 28th. They never contacted to tell her that. The 28th is too late and not what they promised. When she tried to cancel the order she was given a run-around. Finally, after an hour on the phone she got her money back.
Total scam - don't waste your money or time.

Order and arrangement of flowers, balloons, and teddy bear for a new born baby. They were supposed to be deliver at the hospital. The arrangement was delivered to the wrong person. After I found out I called they had me on hold for 15 minutes to tell me that someone would be contacting me with information about the delivery. NO ONE Called! I called second time on hold for 20 minutes and on hold several times the same exact thing, they promised a called and no one called. After 5 days dealing with them trying to get a refund at this point, they wouldn't let me speak with a supervisor as I demanded to speak with one. I told them I would not get off the phone until it was resolved and got my refund. Finally after all that I still couldn't speak with a supervisor, they did give me the refund however. I just feel that it shouldn't get to that. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I ordered a beautiful arrangement that pictured Roses Mums Glads & Carnations. All white except Roses were red. I ordered size large standing arrangement. The picture that a family member sent was upsetting. A few white carnations & 6 red ones & small, did not resemble order at all. Then Avas offered me a credit to acct. Or a refund to card. I just hung up. This was my sister & the last flowers she would get from me. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM AVAS AGAIN. They are not even a 1 rating.
