I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful
It's up to you to use this florist but they did not deliver wreath to my fathers funeral... after I contacted them they responded with apology and stated they would still deliver to another family member but only refund me a portion of what they did not deliver on the day of funeral
Ordering was painful to say the least. The operator's first language was not english. I should have canceled the call at the start. I originally thought I was calling the local florist and "assumed" the order would eventually go to them. Good lord... I completed the order over the phone after a lengthy, arduous call. Flowers $74.99; balloon $6.99; a ribbon (?); "free delivery"; grand total... wait for it... $111... I tried asking questions but confusion insued. I was trying to be nice and just went with it. I hope the flowers make it...

I ordered flowers for a funeral ~ they delivered the wrong flowers, wrong colors, wrong size ~ it looked like a cheap bunch of produce-department flowers they just stuck in a glass vase, worth about $20. When I opened a dispute they responded, but only gave me a $20 refund out of the $128 arrangement. I would have given them a minus-one grade but I didn't have the option. Stay Away from them!

First of all, this is not a florist. They are only order takers. I had to cancel an order with these people when I learned it's not a florist. Then they asked me why I was cancelling. I have yet to see my refund.
Delivered wrong day! Wasn't what I ordered, plant looked like it was picked from yard, wrong message on balloon and had a sign for mom, which I didn't order! Don't use this company, I I don't get my$90.56 credit, I'm going to Michael Finey, 7 on your side
My order was not delivered on time. They did give me a discount. What my family member received was not even close to what I delivered. Some flowers were dying and no vase. No one will answer my emails or calls. I will never order again!
A huge disappointment. I wanted all coral flowers as it was for a 35th wedding anniversary. It was mostly daisies. I could have gone to Market Basket. Not worth the $82. My sister said it was sweet, I wanted nice. I will not order here again

Is there a 0 or negative rating? That is what this business deserves. I ordered 2 funeral sprays & only one was fulfilled on time. The 2nd one came late & looked horrible- with sparce & wilted flowers. I could have made a better one than that & way cheaper. No one to talk to when you call their number. They just sent me a $15 credit for the next order when I emailed them to inform them of the disappointments. I should've read the reviews first before ordering. My very first order & never again. I believe in Karma. Bad business has a price to pay too. DO NOT ORDER FROM AVA's FLOWERS!
I ordered flowers for my mother for Thanksgiving to be delivered today. I received a call saying they don't have the flowers for the arrangement that I ordered, and is it okay with me to change the order? Do I have a choice? I have tried cancelling the order with no luck. You've duped me this time... never again. Even the local florist in the community said they will never do business with this service. Businesses like this should be closed down.
The flowers were delivered 4 days after the promise date on the original order. They kept making excuses every time I contacted them. When they finally arrived, the arrangement was not what I had ordered. They said that the flowers were not available at this time. Why were they on the web page then! Just glad this wasn't for a funeral! I will never order from this company again. I guess you have to research everything now before you commit. Sad way to do business.
I ordered flowers to be delivered to a small town in NH, as they appeared to have an office there based on a Google search. Turned out they did not have an office there (or anywhere nearby). When they couldn't get the order delivered on the date promised they called to say it would be the next day. But it never happened. I tried many times to call and talk to someone but their customer service department is pretty much non-existent. After about 5 days I spent hours on the phone and finally managed to talk to someone in "Special Orders". They tried to convince me to place a fancier, more expensive order! I was able to cancel the order but I'm not convinced at this point that this is a real flower delivery company. Total SCAM!
Same day delivery service was what I was promised. They even called to verify it was a teacher not a student and said it was on its way. They didn't call me that day but waited till the next day to tell me it wasnt delivered due to thier shipper. They lied on delivery and they offered me 5 bucks instead of the 15.99 delivery fee. They ruined a special day for me and my family and didn't even call that day so i could make other arrangements
Please do not fall for this companies tactics. They are NOT local, though you will believe they are. The arrangement will NOT be anything like the picture. We ordered a filled out beautiful arrangement for our granddaughter's sweet 16 birthday. What she got was a few roses stuck in some wilted greenery. When I tried to call, I was put on hold and disconnected TWICE. When I finally got through, I was told all they could do was reorder, and the flowers would be replaced THE NEXT DAY. We still haven't seen the flowers.

I have to admit that I thought they were a local flower shop. I emailed their customer service. They offered me a $20 discount on my NEXT order. Fat chance. There won't be a next order. Called to order a season greeting bouquet for someone special for Christmas for $44.96, long story short, ended up having $72.69 removed from bank account. Had to call for receipt only to be told for the first time about card fee, now fee and service fee, which was not disclosed at the time of ordering. Then once I received the receipt only total of the order was on the receipt and not totals of each fee. Asked to speak to a supervisor was told there was no supervisor which I find hard to believe. Asked for a refund due to the lack of disclosure and was told couldn't do. Embarrassed to ask the recipient about the flowers as they were probably half dead if the quality was anything like the customer service. I would advise everyone to save your money on these flakes and order from a local well known florist!
I really appreciate that you are delivering with no contact, I think that is a really great idea. My mother is 93 years old and I worrying about her during these times. I could not be with her this year and I am thankful that I can send her some small token of my love even if it does not arrive on the exact day. I appreciate the extrordinary effort Avas Flowers must be making to try and get things delivered. So despite what some of people might say about your service I appreciate everything you are doing.
Not worthy of even a one star rating! I purchased an expensive flower arrangement for my friend. She included a picture of what I bought her in a text thanking me. Well, I was disappointed when I saw the picture because it wasn't even close to what I purchased! I spent over $100 for the largest arrangement that I had to choose from. Do not order from this outfit! Called to complain and they said they were sending another arrangement out and my friend never received it and I was not refunded my money! See pics, the first one is what I ordered and the second picture is what my friend received!
My friend was kind and thoughtful and ordered flowers for me. I have a busy week due to being in an accident, with doctor's appointments and other things to attend to. We'd scheduled for a delivery between 3 and 5 today. I was home. No flowers. At 5 PM, I called customer service. They said the flowers were ready and would be out for delivery in the next half hour. I waited until 5:40. No flowers. I called again. They said the florist had tried to deliver and I was not home. NOT TRUE. I had been home since 3. Then they said the florist would come back out and deliver them. I asked them to give them my cell number in case they got lost. By 7, I still had no flowers. I went about my evening. Still no flowers. I'll never use them again.
Warning Will Robinson! Warning! Do not order flowers online from Avas Flowers. I stupidly did not verify their legitimacy and got scammed big time. I thought it was a local company. These were $70 flowers and were two days late to boot. When we checked the shop out today they have no rating on the Better Business Bureau, they are not accredited and have many complaints. The 1st photo is what I ordered. The 2nd is what was received.
I sent flowers to my cousin's girlfriend after he suddenly passed away last week. They didn't deliver the note that I wrote online, they arrived late and they were dead. Can you imagine a worse thing happening. You want to send flowers to comfort someone who just experienced a huge loss and they get dead flowers. Shame on them, shame on them!
I ordered a cute get well balloon bouquet for my 11 year old grandson. I ordered N9-Y Get Well Balloon Bunch. I understand substitutions but what was delivered had NOT ONE balloon that was like the picture. The entire bouquet was an ugly mishmash of different balloons. If the shop had none of the items in the bouquet, I should have had the option to cancel. It was expensive and I'm mad. So they are very excited to take your money but cannot meet the delivery window and give you virtually no option to resolve because their contact info both by phone and online chat option do not let you specify the problem. The automated phone option still says in May 2023 that the delays are COVID related. They have no problem taking your money and nickeling and diming you to death on top of their high prices and then don't meet the window specified despite the fact the window they gave me was still after the designated date they asked me to select for delivery. I would suggest using a local florist. I will never use them again.

Ordered flowers at noon. For my daughter's birthday. I was assured they would be delivered on time. I was asked for my phone number and email address so that they could reach me in there was any problem. They charged my account and never delivered the flowers, nor did they contact me regarding any problem with the order. I didn't find out they had not been delivered until I asked my daughter late last night. No one contacted me. After 30 minutes on the phone with customer service, they offered to send the flowers and provide me with store credit. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I would be contacted on a short period of time. Five hours passed, had to go through the whole story and was told that my money had been refunded and the flowers would not be delivered and that I would receive no store credit. I had the call reviewed and the supervisor told me that I had refused the delivery and the store credit. This was a lie. Don't waste your time and money on this company.
On Ava's Flowers website it said they were located in, and could deliver in my hometown. The business was NOT located in my hometown. I received a call saying they could deliver the plant to the family's house but they didn't have anyone who could deliver to the funeral home. I insisted that they deliver it to the funeral home, saying that the funeral home was 4 blocks from the family's house, so if they could deliver to the house, they could certainly deliver to the funeral home! After being put on hold for a 15 minutes, they finally said they found someone who could deliver the plant to the funeral home. They charged my $3.99 for the little card but instead of writing what I had written on the order form, they wrote something short and abrupt. They also listed only ONE of the 3 siblings' names on the card! How tough is it? The "Free Delivery" code worked, but there was a $24.95 Service Fee which was not itemized or explained.

I ordered a large full standing arrangement for a love one's funeral. What was delivered was a scanty standing arrangement. The arrangement looked like a mangy cat with bald patches. Complete embarrassment to say the least. Please see photos of what I ordered versus what was delivered. Also, Avas Flowers has an F rating in BBB and their location address in DE on the website doesn't seem to be accurate. Unbelievable!
