I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful
My husband paid $100 for a birthday arrangement for his mom. When it arrived it was nothing like the picture and looked like a $20 special from a local supermarket. Don't waste your time with this florist. It's a ripoff.

The customer service rep checked the pic of what the arrangement should have looked like vs what was delivered and the florist is sending another arrangement tomorrow, but this was such a disappointing experience. Horrible arrangement. They should be embarrassed at the arrangement.
Customer service is horrible. Was hung up on by Supervisor. The flowers I ordered and paid for were wrong. I asked for a planter full of Perennials for my mom's front porch for Mother's Day. What she received two days after Mother's Day was an indoor basket and a card that read " In Sympathy ". Last I knew my mom was alive and well. I was horrified. How could a company be so insensitive. The owner of this company Matt Neuenhaus should be ashamed of himself and his employees.
Upgraded order to include "vase". Supposed to be beautiful pastels with Rose's. What did she get? A squat square dish garden style small container with 12 short tulips and 2 Rose's. All cut very short. Very sparse and straggly. Do not waste your money at Avas.
I sent flowers to a friend who got surgery. Ava's website showed me it was delivered. But I was sure my friend would let me know. I had to spoil the surprise asking her. SHE DID NOT RECEIVED! I had to call Ava. Then they finally delivered it. But it was not what I purchased. Less flowers! I payed a service fee of $24.99 for this service!

After receiving only rude accusations and no resolution from their customer service department, I filed a complaint with BBB and Trust Pilot, posted negative reviews on multiple sites like this one, and even found an email address for the owner, writing him an email about his company's shady practices. That very day, I received a phone call from their corporate office. The employee Apologized profusely, immediately applied a full refund, then instructed me to order a free deluxe gourmet food basket from Ava's Baskets as compensation for the horrible service, and the unacceptable treatment from their customer service dept.
I do not know if these actions would have been taken on their own, or because I launched such an aggressive campaign. But they did go beyond expectations to resolve my issue.

BEWARE- it's a scam! Ordered 3 get-well balloons and chocolates for a sick kid, to be delivered the next day. (Also Tricked during call into buying a get well card and ribbon, because all they said was "and what color do u want the ribbon to be? And what do you want written on the card?", as if they were free with order). Instead of delivering the next day, they did a bait-and-switch. They called and told me the chocolates wouldn't be available, and the rest couldn't be delivered until the next day, but for all the trouble I was going through, they'd "throw in an orchid plant". Well, they ended up CHARGING me for that plant, saying I had agreed to pay for it. Then, instead of 3 get-well balloons, they delivered ONE happy birthday balloon, without even a stick or ribbon tied to it to hold it by! And NO get-well card and ribbon, although they were charged for. When I called, they said I had VERBALLY agreed to all these changes during the prior call, (as if I would agree to a birthday balloon for a sick kid). They agreed to refund me $20, meaning I just paid $74 for a tiny bear, and the wrong sad balloon without a ribbon, and all a day late. I filed with BBB, and am disputing with CC. Everyone should, till these scam artists are run out of "business".
This business sadly doesn't care about its reputation... that says it all. Should've checked reviews online first. Better Business Bureau rating is an F. Please read it's Pattern of Complaint and Alert on the BBB site; this will say it all. In my case, they sent a vase with about 6 tulips out the door to my mother without even any greens! Nothing in the vase to even support the tulips that can't obviously support themselves. When I sent a photo of what it looked like, they were apparently not OK with how it looked, but stated that the discount of 10% that they could give me should be considered a refund. They're frauds. Shameful!
Absolutely pathetic service and customer service altogether. Ordered same day rush before 3 delivery to my significant others place of work. Didn't happen. Called them. (Which by the way, their phone service is an Absolute nightmare to go through. All automated. Takes forever to get through.) Was told they would deliver to her house if not able to deliver in the next thirty minutes. Not even an hour later the status changed to delivery for the following day. Before noon. They never even attempted to deliver to her house. Here it is the following day at 1. Flowers still not delivered. Still refuse to refund. Still refuse to provide any customer service. I will NEVER purchase from them again.
Ordered flowers for my 5 year anniversary got and email saying they were delivered, they never were delivered, I called them to get the order fixed and it's almost impossible to get someone on the phone and when you finally do they do nothing to help you.
I will never buy flowers from them again.
I ordered a $60 bouquet. The website asked when I wanted delivery, and I chose the same day. There was no indication that my same day delivery would have a $24.95 service fee in addition to the $9.99 delivery fee. With tax, the $60 bouquet cost over $100. When I reviewed the emailed receipt, I immediately sent a request to cancel the order (37 minutes after the order was placed. Four hours later, I received verification that the order had been delivered. Then, then next day, I received an notification that it was too late to cancel the order. I explained that I had cancelled nearly immediately and that, because they had still delivered, I would like the extra service fee reversed. I never heard from them again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The website was very easy to use! They were out of a lot of the items I wanted, but my friend absolutely loved the flowers that were chosen by the customer rep that I talked to. It was a last minute delivery request, and was filled in a timely manner. I appreciated the discount on the delivery fee since the sunflowers were delivered a day late. They were a nice belated birthday surprise for my friend. I will definitely be calling again when I have a need.
If I could give a zero I would. These were the worst flowers I have ever gotten. My husband ordered 18 Sunflowers with Teddy bear to be sent to me for our 24th anniversary. 12 Sunflowers and 2 pieces of a plant came in a box that I had to put together, No teddy bear and the flowers never opened. Sent them a message as I wanted a refund or a new bouquet of flowers sent in replacement, even sent pictures. Their response, "we'll give you 20% off your next order". There isn't going to be a next order I wrote and requested a refund or new bouquet. They came back and offered 50% off. None of the customer service people speak clear English. Never heard from them again. So I'm writing this review on every website they advertise on. Do yourself a favor and call your local florist because THESE PEOPLE SUCK!
Ordered a snack basket and a spray for a visitation/funeral. As it was several states away from me, I Googled for a local florist. Avas came up as a hometown florist. Only because it was alphabetical. Website looks genuine. They called me 24 hours AFTER it was supposed to be delivered and said they could not arrange it with their contacts. I am livid. Supposedly I will get a refund. Do not use them, think it is a total scam. They have had my money for 10 days! 10 more days to "process" refund!
I went to their website and ordered a mini rose plant, in a basket. Several hours later they notified me, by phone, that they did not have the product. We discussed several options, while I looked at their site. The next option I chose they also didn't have. I specifically told them I wanted yellow flowers and nothing I mentioned was available. Finally I decided on the sunflower arrangement, from their site. The arrangement that they finally delivered was nothing like I had ordered and also not the quality I paid for. Would not recommend, or use this florist again.

They promised one thing delivered what they wanted no where close to same item. They were half dead and when i called they said we will give you $10.00 off future purchase they then said we will give you 50% of your money back. I asked for a supervisor the same fellow emanual got on trying to disguise his voice and hung up on me. Wish I could select zero stars that's what they deserve

The recipient (my cousins) were very happy with the arrangement...kudos to you. However, the $25 service charge should be disclosed at the beginning of the ordering process, with an explanation of what it's for. Otherwise, it just feels like padding the bill. Just my comments to improve your customer service.

We ordered a $150 funeral spray to be delivered to the funeral home. They contacted me the day of the viewing saying they we sorry but they were unable to deliver my flowers on time for for viewing but would deliver them before the funeral the next day. They sent me an email 1 hr before the funeral service saying they were unable to deliver for the funeral but if I gave them a home address, they would send them to the home. I cancelled my order and they did give me my refund. I will NEVER order from this company again. What a huge disappointment at such as sad time!
My sister sent me a "centerpiece " for Christmas. What she ordered, picture 1, and what was delivered, picture 2, were not the same item. Also it was supposed to be delivered 12/18/21 and was not delivered until1/21/21 after several calls to customer service. If you are going to spend the money go with a more reputable service like FTD, Teleflora or! 800 flowers. At least with them you get what you pay for. It's the thought that counts. Lauren A

Outrageous service! I ordered a beautiful bouquet of baby pink and white roses. My mother was sent hot pink carnations and white and purple daisies. I called to complain and offered me a $15 credit like I'd order from them again! Their own policy states if you don't like their flowers they will send out a proper bouquet instead. Of course that's after they take the other flowers back. I told them I wanted them to do that. I read back to them numerous policies from their own site and I was talked over rudely and told no. The women thought she had me on mute while she yelled about me and then hung up. Worst costumer service. Comparably to comcast with how furious I am. My mother was sent bottom of the barrel grocery store flowers when I paid $80 for what I presumed to be roses.
I ordered a large bouquet of flowers for $150+ and got a $50 arrangement. Horrible place to do business with. They have a disclaimer that they can substitute at anytime without consulting you. The Garbage arrives and there is nothing you can do about it. STAY AWAY from these thieves! I will use Cornelius Florist in Tomball from now on. They have been in business since I was a kid on the north side of Houston. Thought I was going to save a little money and got what I paid for.

It was supposed to arrive with guaranteed delivery day prior. I think I even paid for expedited delivery. The flowers were not super impressive either for the expense of 150 dollars. Feel I could have bought similar flowers at grocery story for fraction of cost.
We ordered a standing lavender basket for a mans funeral and they delivered a table arrangement of pink flowers. When questioned the email response was the substitution policy. Very embarrassed that we sent pink flowers to this mans funeral. Will not be using Ava's again.
I placed an order a week before a family member funeral. I saw beautiful arrangements for funerals in the website and I was very happy with my purchase i even received a text saying item was delivered and everything. When we arrived to the service I couldn't find our arrangement anywhere it was very embarrassing as all the main family send arrangements and ours wasn't there. Customer service was good afterwards and they even process a refund but it not about the money it was about the false advertising and telling me item delivered. I would highly recommend that you look else where for your florist arrangement. I am absolutely disappointed with this company! I ordered a bouquet for my boyfriend's mom to be delivered on his birthday. I have not met her yet and I wanted to make a good impression. On his birthday, she messaged him a photo of the flowers and when he showed me, for a second I thought someone else had sent her flowers. The bouquet was small and puny and had more green leaf foliage then flowers. The picture online showed at least five different varieties of flowers and the bouquet only had three. I paid exactly for "As Shown" so there is not excuse why the bouquet is not what I paid for. This company is full of false promises! I paid $68.94 with service fees and King Soopers could have made a better bouquet for $20! This company is a rip-off and they should be shut down!
I never received my flowers I ordered for Mother's Day. I kept calling to follow up and was told they were coming. They never arrived so I asked for a refund and received push back on getting the refund. Super upset and we wont be using this service ever again.
