I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.

I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful

Prior to placing my order the confirmation page indicated a $24.95 Service Fee for a total billing of $107.44 which I felt was excessive therefore, did not confirm my order at which time an offer popped up for a $5.00 discount... after confirming the $5.00 discount the Service Fee increased to $28.94 for a total billing of $106.34, which in essence gave me a discount of $1.10, which made no sense to offer me a discount! (Unfortunately I was ordering for a funeral therefore, had no choice but to confirm and accept the billing)! The minor discount amount is not the concern, rather the bait and switch tactic of price swapping which is unacceptable. (Original confirmation and final billing attached, showing both fees as described above).
If this was not frustrating enough, a replacement planter was received in lieu of the floor plant that was ordered! I specifically searched for a floor plant and selected a Dieffenbachia Plant ($74.99) and received a table planter with mixed plants instead. As a positive, my order was received on time and the planter received was very pretty. I completely understand the occasional need to replace an item if necessary although this in no way resembled my original order and the planter received was not comparable to the original value of the plant ordered. Furthermore, the site should not have accepted my order for a plant if it was unavailable.
I received an immediate email after the delivery requesting my feedback of which I replied and explained as such although have yet to receive a response from this business!

I placed an order this morning and asked for the flowers and candy to be delivered tonight. They told me yes they would have them delivered today after 4:30pm. No communication saying they delivered so I checked online to see why they were not delivered. Now they say Monday and they don't have the flowers needed for that arrangement I chose so they will substitute. No phone call, no text, no email to tell me it wont be delivered today. I called them and all they can say is I'm sorry but we cant deliver today it will be Monday. I didn't pay for flowers to be delivered on a different day. I needed the flowers to be delivered to a family member today. If they need to change a delivery date then they should contact me to see if its ok and let me make the decision. They don't know the situation of why I needed the flowers today and to assume its ok to change the arrangement and delivery date is NOT ok. Never will I use them and I recommend no one orders from them. I canceled my order and went with a better company. #Flowerpatch

Extremely dissatisfied with this company. I placed an order for 4 diff sets for flowers for my adult daughters (out of town) late for Valentine's Day I certainly understood it my order was late in the game (on 2/13) but this site was the one the "guaranteed" they would get deliveries made on Valentine's Day. Indeed, the ONLY reason I ordered from them and paid their premium price (compared to others) was the ability to get them timely delivered. Not one of the them was delivered on time. In fact, one of them that their own site still says was to be delivered yesterday still has not been delivered. I don't really care about the store credit they offered on only 1 order (They won't be frying my business again) and the fact that 3 of the 4 were delivered late (today), I'm upset that they even suggested they could timely deliver when that obviously was totally false. The other sites I considered today me they couldn't promise delivery and that's the whole reason I bought these items. The reason the day was a big deal to me is that I wanted to provide my adult daughters with valentines flowers because their older sister had died in the last year and when they were all kids, I used to do valentines flowers every year for all of them. Shame on this company. They misrepresent and don't live up to their word.
Learn from my mistake in ordering from this company. Don't do it.

I ORDERED A LAVENDER SYMPATHY BASKET AND RECEIVED YELLOW AND GREEN FLOWERS WITH A LAVENDER BOW. I WAS CHARGED $5 EXTRA TO HAVE THE BOW MATCH THE LAVENDER FLOWERS, WHAT A JOKE! THE FLOWERS WERE NO WHERE WHAT I ORDERED AND THE BOW WAS THE ONLY THING LAVENDER. I WAS NOT ONLY EMBARRASSED, BUT MORTIFIED ON WHAT WAS DELIVERED! THE PICTURES I INCLUDED SHOW WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS ORDERING AND WHAT I RECEIVED! HORRENDOUS TO SAY THE LEAST!

GAVE 1 STAR, ONLY BECAUSE I NEEDED TO GIVE AT LEAST ONE. THEY DESERVE MINUS 5 STARS!

I would not recommend this business and I wish that I would have read the reviews first.
I ordered flowers to be delivered for a birthday gift along with a box of chocolates. They did NOT arrive on the birthdate. I called and they offered a $20 credit and promised to deliver 2 days late. Later that day I received a text stating that the chosen bouquet was not available but I could pick from the following items (all more expensive than original choice) at no additional cost or I could cancel the order. I selected one and it was delivered.

The chocolate was not delivered along with the flowers. When I called they told me that they refunded me $20, which was supposed to be for the delay. The customer service person then said that "you picked a more expensive flower" I explained that I had picked one from the choices given.

Basically they refunded $20 and didn't send the chocolate. Not an end of the world, but feel I was bamboozeled, won't use again and I suggest that you call a local florist for better customer service!

I order flowers from Ava's Flowers on 12/19/2023 to congratulate a beautiful friend of mine on her retirement who's like a sister. The bouquet's name said it all " She's Got Style, She's Got Grace" about my friend! I ordered it in a large. What she got was a different story! The arrangement sent looked nothing like nor was close to the ordered size of the advertised large bouquet,nor the colors. The card didn't have my name on it as the sender so when she received it she didn't know who it came from. I had to call after a couple of days to see if she got it then she sent me the pictures! I was done! The first picture is what I ordered and the second is what my dear friend received. I thought I was working with a business that was dealing with vetted florist as contractors but it's come across as a hard not. I feel that there's an out of state out of mind customer service policy with these folks and a gamble as to rather you'll get what you purchase. I'm not a gambler and nor will I do business again with this online company. My lesson is do better research when looking online to send flower to an out of state friend or family member in the future. Below is my addition attempt with an email after many attempts by phone to rectify the issue.

I ordered a floral arrangement on 9/2/2023 as a birthday present for my who lives 3 hours away who I could not visit at the time. I came across Avasflowers, I checked out their flower arrangements and chose one. My order came to $105.29 for a large floral harmony bouquet and a card. The flowers that showed up were already dying, were not a large but very small and were not the bouquet I ordered. They didn't look like any bouquet on there site at all. They looked like a little kid pick them from a field and arranged them. The person who delivered was in a really beat down broken car and bummy. It took forever to get a hold of them and when I did we got disconnected several times and they would never call back. They refused a refund, said they could take $10 dollars off or give a discount on my next order or redeliver. I finally said yes to the redeliver and it was the same as the first bouquet. Now they aren't responding at all! I spent a lot of money on what look like field flowers from a dump. ALWAYS READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY. This place from what I see now from reviews is ripping people off big time!

So the first picture is what I ordered. To be fair they did contact me and said that what I ordered was not available. I had already paid and I was expecting the arrangement to be delivered the day they contacted me. It was supposed to be the center piece for my mom's Christmas table. I wanted to cancel my entire order at that time but I was assured that the roses would be in a beautiful vase and make a lovely center piece. The 2nd picture is what my mom received and the roses were damaged. My mom wasn't sure if they had gotten to cold or what happened but they were poor quality. When my mom sent me a picture thanking me for the gift I was horrified. I asked her to please not display them because of how embarrassed I was.
I was refunded about half of the original order money wise but was told they couldn't make any other accommodations. It's not about the money but the arrangement itself
The flowers were damaged, the beautiful vase I was promised looks like it came from the dollar tree. Not one hint of baby's breath or a bow not even holiday colors! Still they said they couldn't or wouldn't do anything to make this situation better. I'm so disappointed and embarrassed with what I know my mom will still display on her Christmas table and tell everyone that they were from me. My recommendation is to
Never use this company.

I purchased flowers for around $80 for my sisters birthday! They were delivered in brown paper NO VASE purchased at Safeway flowers delivered by Uber. The flowers were probably a $8 bouquet. My sister got a message from Uber saying her Safeway flowers were being delivered! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered flowers for my mom on her bDay 11/03/2019 and they never got delivered... this place is a joke! They told me they will discount 10% off my order REALLY! CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THEY HANDLED IT! NEVER AGAIN!

Wonderful flowers & plants, a bit spendy. I understand the delivery procedures, 2 days late. Not acceptable to me.
Most likely will not order Avas again.

When I first talked to the girl, I explained I wanted to spend $50.00 on order. I told her what it was for, and I wanted it delivered that day, she put me on hold, came back on and gave me a total of $75.00. I told her i did not want to spend that much, I gave her a code from the internet and we got it down to $60.00. But if I wanted it delivered today it would be $64.00. $4.00 service charge. I said i thought it was free delivery, she said yes but this is a service charge. I told her I would not pay it, she told me to hold on, we got disconnected. She called back and I told her forget the order, I'll go somewhere else. She assured me they would deliver the flowers for the $60.00 that day. When I got the receipt by email it showed a $9.99 delivery charge. I called back and all I got was double talk, so I just let it go. By 8.pm my son still had not gotten his flowers. They did not get them until the following afternoon. The reason I wanted them delivered the day before is they brought their newborn baby home from the hospital the day before that. I wanted as a welcome home gift. Whoever heard of ups delivering flowers. They don't tell you that!

I ordered what I thought was going to be a rose plant and a balloon for my husband's uncle who's recovering in the hospital from a stroke. First off they offered a discount code for $10 off and then after you hit the purchase button on the final screen it shows a $24.95 service fee! I immediately found the cancel my order button. You have to explain why you want to cancel and someone will contact you. A few hours later a lady called me and I told her the way the service fee appears after the purchase is very bad business and is extremely deceiving. I told her if she didn't cancel my order I was going to dispute it with my credit card company. She then offered me a $20 credit back to my card. I told her that was fine but I needed a email stating that that was what she was going to do. I did get the email but no credit yet. My father in law was at the hospital and sent me a picture of what was delivered. I understand that the color of the flowers can vary and the container. But they delivered a KALANCHOE plant which is far from being a rose plant! I would have never used this company if I read the reviews first!

The 3rd person in our family died from Covid and I made the mistake of ordering from this this lousy excuse of a Florest - the order was suppose to be delivered by Wednesday- on Friday they had not been delivered and I was never notified.

Ava's Flowers used a shady florist from another state to fill the order. Mai Flowers Bill gave us a small arrangement with only 7 roses in it when we paid for a large arrangement that should have had a dozen. The lilies were brown and wilted! When we tried to call upon delivery, the owner would not answer the store phone and there was no answering machine. The store was effectively closed for the rest of the day from 2 pm on. We asked the delivery person to have the owner contact us, which she did, and she forwarded to us the owner's response to her which said she would not call us back and instructed the delivery person to just ignore us as well. She (owner) said we could contact Ava's Flowers, as she was just the one who fulfills the order and thus not responsible. Ava's is NOT a local florist, contracts with shady, bargain basement businesses and is not responsive to customer service issues. Their advertising is intentionally misleading to cause consumers to believe they are doing business with a local florist. This is a shady company!

Tip for consumers:
Not a local Florist, which makes customer service a challenge because we are dealing with fragile, fresh product!

We put in 2 orders through this company to be sent on Mother's Day. While she was on the phone ordering the flowers, she requested a picture to be sent prior to delivery to see what the arrangements would look like. Long story short, the woman went in circles explaining why this couldn't be done. Fast forward to today, the day AFTER Mother's Day. My wife's phone is getting blown up with texts stating that the order was never sent because they had too many orders to be fulfilled. This order was placed with enough time that we could have called another florist if they couldn't fulfill the order. And why did we learn of this AFTER the date it was supposed to be sent?
If you go on their website, it boldly states all of their '5 Star ratings'. I couldn't find any Google sites that actually showed this. Even the Awards section is lies, A better thing to google would be avas flowers scam and the better business bureau.
While we got our money refunded, I believe they are a scam because they will overbook their deliveries and when they can't fulfill it, they royally screw over the customer.

This is the first time we have used an internet florist and will be our last. If you want a good experience, shop local so you can actually SEE what you are getting and KNOW that people will do their best to get it on time and look the very best. It's because those people are your neighbors, not faceless people from across the county that couldn't care less about you or their product.

Tip for consumers:
I should have done more research into this website before we used it. That's why I provided proof of all the legitimate reviews online. Their own website has fake reviews which shouldn't be legal in my opinion.

I order my wife callelillies and roses, they couldn't fulfill my order so I substituted with 24 red roses, we received 24 sunflowers, the company refused to do a full refund and I ended up having to argue for half refund, Happy anniversary, thanks for nothing Avas

This company is in business to do one thing and it's not to deliver flowers. They are in business only to TAKE YOUR MONEY! This company is a complete SCAM! There is a reason they have (223) 1 star reviews ( 1 star only because it doesn't have 0 stars as an option) and only (3) 5 star reviews. I DON'T KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!
