I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful
Never order to this flower company or youll regret it. Everything on their pictures on site, once you order it, it will not be the same item or color comes to you in short false adevertisement. Theres alot if errors in terms of choosing your flowers putting it on the basket section and checkout.do yourself a favor dont waste your money ordering flowers to them.
Be very careful doing business with this company - I think this company may be a scam. The plant we ordered was not delivered and when we contacted customer service several days later, they told us the plant we wanted was not available. We asked for a refund and all of sudden the plant was on a delivery truck. We didn't trust the info and asked again for a refund. The first rep put us on hold, transferred us then hung up on us. When we called back, we got the same run around. The second call took over 30 minutes and 23 minutes waisted with a customer service rep that did not do anything to process the refund. We were finally transferred to a supervisor but its now over 30 minutes and the Supervisor put us on hold again. I stayed on the line and we were finally given a refund confirmation number but it will be a few days before the bank card can confirm this. Now we can just hope this wasn't an expensive lesson learned.

It took 2 calls, 4 people and over an hour on the phone to get them to process a refund for a plant they never delivered. I suspect we won't see the credit to our credit card either but will wait to see what happens

I was needing same day delivery for my BFF's kid who was in the hospital. She had been in for days with a very long stay to expect. I wanted to send flowers for a pick-me-up. First, I was shocked at the "service fee." However, with some complaining from me, the woman I was speaking to finally applied the discount code that was offered online to provide me with free delivery. Then, I recieved an email later that day that the supplies would not be in for 2 days later. 2 days later, I received a text they still did not have the supplies. She thought the flowers could be delivered elsewhere. I decided to cancel. She refused to let me cancel. At this point, days into the stress of a hospital stay with a very bad prognosis with my BFF's kid, I was not in the mood for this person to not care. She did not care. In a few days, if I don't see the credit to my account, I will take additional action.
We ordered flowers from AvasFlowers for a funeral. We ended up diving over 3 hours to the funeral and after the funeral looked for our flowers. THEY WERE NOT THERE. The funeral director called the local Dillons grocery store and they did get the order from Ava's but didn't have time to get the arrangement made and delivered. We told them we no longer wanted the order and to give us a refund. They told us they would contact Ava's and get us a refund. AVA's never processed the refund! If you try calling them, you will eventually be hung up on with no actual human to talk to.
My mom tried sending my sister flowers and a teddy bear for her birthday who lives in another state and the day of her birthday they flowers ended up at my moms house. Then they resent it to my sister, my mom got told it was delivered but it was never actually delivered. Gave my mom the run around. I believe they give people the run around to get a little extra coin, my mom had to pay an extra $10 to get it rerouted. A**holes!
I used to be able to ice skate, but I can't now so I don't tell people I can. When a business says they can deliver same day flowers and can't. What is that?!? I HAD to call back twice to provide information they did not ask for on the site only to STILL have the flowers not delivered. Oh, did I mention these were sympathy flowers…because these classless people asked for my friends information to apologize for their incompetence …ON THE WORST DAY OF THEIR LIVES. I've never heard of something so tacky. Shame, shame, shame on this company. We want to help small businesses and then come across this garbage. Shame on me for not doing better research. PLEASE learn from my haste.
Ordered same day delivery flowers. Recd confirming email that delivery was same day or next day " not guaranteed"... day later got email wouldn't be for another day. Went on website to cancel, was told call Customer Service to cancel, bottom line was told they'll refund less $17 service fee. Went into lengthy explanation of how it's on their website etc... but the fee isnt not does it reference that when your paying... never will
I ordered flowers for my mother's viewing, weeks in advance ($300). NEVER DELIVERED. The nerve of them to offer a partial payment & some flowers. NOPE give me my FULL REFUND & I should be getting a complimentary gift as well. Unprofessional business. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE
This company does not deliver. This company is not local. This company is not even a florist. Everything about this company is a lie. They present themselves as a local flower shop, they are not. They promise delivery, they do not. They say they have great reviews, they do NOT. This is someone in their home pretending to be a company. They are the lowest of the lows, the worst of the worst. This slimy company uses COVID-19 as a way to not deliver and cheat you out of a service fee they seem to feel entitled to after lying to you, and cheating you out flowers for your loved one. They are SCUM.
I should have been warned early on when I had a hard time reaching anyone to clarify an order. And when I finally did, should have realized I made a mistake when I reached someone off shore. They give the impression they are a local florist. They are not. They bury the fact that they are Virtual very deep in the website where you would never come upon it when placing an order. They have a Service Charge which they spring on you at the last moment at checkout, which is only found deep in the website if you should go looking under Polices. And when you find it, they do not publish any prices. They just give a long list of all the items which which they add on to the price of the service charge should they apply to your purchase. Mine were $25. Without explanation. This was not a delivery charge. They already added that separately, along with things like ribbons and bows which weren't in the photo of the item I choose but needed. Everyone else has already complained about delivery and other problems. This company's plan is to fool you. They are trying to pose as something they are not. Run, do not walk away from these people.

After spending 35 minutes with "Maria" in customer service trying to send an order I learned that all the items shown were of the large size, but the price shown was of the small size. Which meant that what you saw was not what you were going to get. That's how they traded me up. When I finally saw my bill at the moment of checkout I asked how did it get so high? They had added delivery though there was free delivery that day. The ribbons and bows eventhough they were not in the photo. The service charge of $25. I asked about it. That's when I realized they were not local, and were really just another 1-800 Florist who farms out the work and takes a cut. That's why they really need a service charge. So I cancelled the order. That's why there is no proof of purchase. I realized they were scamers.
I ordered a beautiful orchid plant ( online) with a mylar balloon for my sisters 60th birthday. The orchid arrived and card arrived but the mylar balloon was missing. I called 3 times and asked them to deliver the balloon as I paid a pretty price for what I had ordered. They messed up and should of put the customer first, which they did not! I will not reccomend Ava's Flowers and I personally will never order from them again.
What I ordered from Avas flowers wasn't even close to what I paid extra for.

It was embarrassing
I placed an order on 11/16 to have flowers delivered on 11/20. At 3:20 on 11/20 I received a text message from them saying they were canceling my order. That is the same day they were supposed to be delivered and I have no ability to find another florist on the island that can fill the order. BEWARE of doing business with this SCAM company.
Paid for rush delivery and was given every excuse possible. Had to ask for refund because flowers didn't make it. Terrible service on the phone. Will never use again.
Please do not use this florist. A family friend recommended this florist because she heard they were good but she personally never used them. I placed an order for a sympathy arrangment to be delivered to the church - never got delivered. The mornin of my sister's funeral apparently they were blowing up my phone because they needed the address to the churchwhich I had already provided and they were all set. I was getting ready for my sister's funeral and distraught and they are trying to call me.
Anyway I demanded a refund which at first they were giving me a hard time. They wanted to still ship the flowers after the funeral was done- like the next day. BTW you speak to people from India so it was even more frustrating. They eventually gave me my refund back. This company sucks and the fact that my beautiful sister who passed away didn't even get sent flowers from me. This company shouldn't even be in business if they can't even deliver flowers to a church.

All indictions at Avas website were that my flowers would be delivered on time and be the Asiatic Lilies I requested. Neither the flowers I requested or delievered on time was the outcome. Paid a premium price as well. Will not be using Avas again.

4 small, NOT even fresh flowers for over 100 dollars. This was large size XD. The delivery wasn't on right day. The Firma AVAS really spoiled the celebration. The receiver had to work hard to find the delivery item, going through the whole city to the delivery company and searching it. Only the disappointment.

If I could give a 0 I would. Paid big money, $130 for a large Christmas arrangement. Was told they could do Christmas theme with berries etc. It was a day late and all that came was a few roses in a box. NOTHING LIKE I WAS TOLD OR SHOWN. THEY LIE AND STEAL YOUR MONEY. I tried to order a bouquet of ballons & a Med. Size Teddy Bear for my Aunt, they told me it was over $100.00... They tried to convince me they had a store front in my home town. What gave it away was they kept asking for the name of the hospital... There is only 1 hospital. When I told them to cancel the order they wanted to send a flower bouquet instead for $30.00 less. I hung up because all thet wanted to do is argue. Called a cousin for the name of the florist there... got the balloons & bear for about $70.00 less & great service

Avoid at all costs! Only order if you want an arrangement that doesn't represent the photo, delivered to the WRONG PLACE, and delivered 3 days late. Fraud, they put in their system and emailed my husband on WEDNESDAY 2/14 that the arrangement was delivered but on FRIDAY 2/16, today I was called by a stranger to tell me that my flowers has been abandoned at the wrong place and wanted to know if I still wanted them. I wasn't at work but at home. I later received a call from their "customer service" and he and I spent a good amount of time arguing over the address and the fact that the company falsified delivery information. I had to remind the customer service person that I know the address of my work and I seem to be able to find my way there without any issue and don't arrive 3 days late and to the wrong place.
After I promised that I was going to leave reviews and contact the BBB, he said he would reach out to the sender to make it better.
He called my husband and tried to scam him into another arrangement.
Please avoid this company. Save your money and buy from the guys selling on the streets, they're not trying to scam you like these theives.

Do not trust Avas Flowers with your Mother's Day! I live in NYC and trusted them to deliver flowers to my 90 yr old Mom in SC. I ordered them in advance, over the phone and was promised they would arrive by Mother's Day - I was not given a specific day just a date range - that should have been a hint. Today - Mother's Day I'm notified by email that they are cancelling the order. This is not the way to do business and I highly recommend for anyone to take your precious orders elsewhere.

I ordered on the 16th for a 17th delivery which didn't happen, the birthday flowers arrived a day late because of short staff, too busy, something about weather, the did notify me at 3:55 day of, too late to place with another florist. It was supposed to be a surprise and the recipient was actually home the 16th, but I was forced to share the recipients # to coordinate delivery the next day - no surprise. There are 4 options, luxury grade is highest, hardly luxury especially for the price, I mean I can't imagine how much smaller each step-down would be. Will NOT order again! You shouldn't allow a delivery date if it can't be kept. If you need more time request 2 days ahead. Bad management.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day. A dozen sunflowers. The first bouquet arrived dead and rotted. The second replacement bouquet was also dead and THEY WEREN'T EVEN SUNFLOWERS. Dead daises. It took upwards of 45 minutes to get anyone on the phone at Customer Service because the first time I called I was put on hold for 15+ mins and hung up. After calling a second time, I finally got someone on the phone who offered a measly 10% discount. Mind you, I still did not have ANY flowers yet I am denied a refund. After a good amount of back and forth I was told I would receive a refund. This was after I asked the man on the phone to confirm that if a replacement bouquet was sent, it would be what I ordered and alive upon arrival. He could not. I still have not received my refund. Horrible company and I could not find anywhere to leave a google review. Word of advice: read their Yelp. This company sucks.
