I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a camp in Pennsylvania, USA (from UK) where my daughter is working for the summer, as it was her birthday. So I chose this company from a google search for that area. Easy to order and the flowers were delivered on time. Although I only ordered a small bouquet (trying to keep costs down) the quality of the flowers looked good, and some buds were still to open when they arrived, so would have filled out a bit more. Happy with the service and was updated when they were delivered.
I called to put an order and less than one hour later. I tried to cancel it. I called multiple times and was disconnected five times each time. I was told to hold to get confirmation of my cancellation each time asking if I would take a $15 discount this is a horrible company never use this company at the end of the day, I was not able to get my refund and the flowers were awful
Placed an order for delivery, with a rush. 24 hours later, when the order should have already been delivered, received an email that there was an issue. I called and got passed around to three different people, who all had my order info, but asked the same questions over and over. Eventually I got left on hold, and then hung up on. Called back, now I'm irate. They tried to say their delivery people could now not deliver. DO NOT ORDER from Ava's Flowers, not reputable. Still on hold, ok'ed a different arrangement and still they are playing the game. Can't do less than one star, that's a problem.
Ordered the Sunshine arrangement online... Shown with Sunflowers and orange lilies plus other fall like flowers/colors. My daughter received the arrangement in 2 hours which initially I was happy. But wondered how the arrangement was made and delivered in such a short time. It dawned on me the arrangement was already made and in the shop. List price $45.99. After all was said and done...? Service charge?, tax and delivery charge.( it was supposed to be free delivery) the total was $94.00 Very unhappy. Wanted them replaced They offered me $10.00 for my trouble... I know they say it may not look exactly like what it did online but this wasn't even close. My kids could have put something better together than what I got. Was very disappointed. The delivery response time was fabulous but that's about it. Embarrassing to send those kind of flowers to somebody
We were both embarrassed and horrified at the lavender sympathy spray that was sent in our names for our deceased relative in the funeral home. What was supposed to be a medium size spray, contained 9 roses, 7 of them drooping and dying and chrysanthemums that had petals crushed and falling on the floor. I left a message for a supervisor to contact me but have not received any response. I paid $183.47 total for this gross spray. The order number is #*******. Janet J.
I spent a lot of time selecting a bouquet, giving the name address and phone number of the recipient, writing sympathy card message, giving my name address, email, credit card information, billing address, shipping choice, etc. When I finally got to the last page where you click to pay, there was an expense previously mentioned, almost $22, for a "service charge." This was not for delivery, which was a separate charge. I sent the same review to the company's website, but it has not shown up there. Perhaps they screen the reviews, since I don't see anything but positive reviews on their website.

This has been the worst floral order experience I've ever had! First, the floral arrangement that they delivered, looked absolutely nothing like what I ordered. The flowers were not even similar and the size was ridiculously small. There were several broken stems. I was so embarrassed. Second, they do not respond to customer service emails. Then, when I called twice, they disconnected the call both times. This company is just out to scam you.
You are better off sending weeds than using this florist. They are not local, they send a much smaller version of what you order and then lie. They say they don't charge delivery but charge 15 dollars handling.
I was mortified at what they sent for over 70 dollars It took multiple calls to get just 13 dollars back, but that didn't really solve the fact that an awful piece was delivered.
A scam
Do not use this service. I and two relatives used this florist to send funeral arrangements for a deceased family member out of state. None of us received any advance notice and had to call to find out that they did not deliver! This has the affect of making you look totally uncaring at a very sensitive time! I am still awaiting a refund for this B. S.! Again, use them at your own risk!

Ordered flowers to be delivered for my grandma's 92 birthday. They called me the day of to say they couldn't deliver them and were wondering if 4 days later is okay with an edible gift basket. Kept trying to talk me into that until I finally got a refund. Luckily another local business was able to get her her flowers on her birthday.
I have never had such a negative experience as I did working with Avas flowers. They lied about being able to make an important flower delivery by a specific date. They double downed on it and confirmed that the flowers would be delivered on the correct date. After trying to block my phone calls, customer service eventually put me through to management who insultingly offered a 10% discount (after the customer service rep had offered 30%). They charge $10 delivery AND and an $18 service fee. The manager listened to the phone recordings and corroborated that his people were not honest with me, yet he still did not try to fix things.
If I could give them a negative rating I would. They really ruined a very special birthday.
The bouquet that I sent to my mom was NOTHING like what I ordered. (she texted a photo when they arrived)
It was nothing like what I ordered, including the vase. Although I ordered a large upgrade, they were not. I told my mom that it looked like they were from Albertsons, her local grocery store. She said that the flowers included a card from Albertsons!
I paid a LOT of money to a national chain claiming to be a florist, and got a bouquet from the grocery store. I had called for a replacement, not realizing about Albertsons, and was assured by Avas that an appropriate bouquet would be delivered
Yesterday. That has not happened.
Look at the images, and you will see. While the flowers sent were pretty enough, this was not the extravagant bouquet I wanted and PAID for.
While the customer service people are polite, you can not trust this company.

Ordered these for mothers day. I am a travel nurse and am often out of town. These were to be delivered the day before mothers day and didn't arrive until 2 days after. Also, the arrangement was very thin looking compared to the pictures and description. They were supposed to be "as pictured." Lesson learned and I will not order thru this company again.
Stupidly selected this company as they appeared to be local to the area I was ordering sympathy flowers for. Placed order and discovered on receiving the invoice in my email that they'd tacked a previously unmentioned $19.95 service charge on (was not a rush order or anything of the sort). Immediately tried to cancel, but going through the online cancellation process yielded no actual way to cancel and just told me my order was in process and someone would be in touch. Tried to call them to cancel for about 40 minutes, could not get through and then once connected could not speak to a person but just bounced around multiple recorded options. No idea if i'll get my money back or not. I don't think this is a real company and there are plenty of legitimate and good options for flower delivery online - I should have checked their address instead of being fooled. DO NOT USE!
DON'T purchase flowers from this company! My nephew buried in Arlington did not receive his flowers the day they were to be delivered. I ordered a month in advance. No photo as promised. Don't know if flowers were ever received.No one knew what happened the day flowers were to be delivered. I was on the phone several times. They tell you lies to keep you satisfied for the moment. I paid plenty for an expensive Thanksgiving arrangement. I'm so upset to think he may not have received his flowers after he fought for our freedom. U. N. Believable. I ordered $160 of sympathy flowers to be send to my best friend's dad funeral in another state that I could not attended. He was an Asian man with an Asian name, so the name did not match exactly on the delivery, and the funeral home would not accept, as I was told. They called me about the problem so I gave the sons name and contact to be delivered to the house. That did not happened for whatever reason, so they called me a few days later and told me the situation. The funeral was last week so too late to deliver anymore, so I ask for a refund. They told me they could do a partial refund which I have no choice but to agreed to. But they never sent any refunds after months of waiting.

This place is terrible. Where do I start. $80 for garbage flowers. Delivered to the wrong address at the wrong time. I even paid extra for a custom order of sunflowers and red roses. I got yellow roses and four sunflowers filled with green garbage fillers. I called and tried to get them to fix the order. They basically told me that they could not do anything about it and refunded me FIVE DOLLARS. How insulting. I cant believe they wasted my time and money. All I wanted to do was send my friend flowers for her birthday. These people have caller ID because they stopped answering my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The ratings on their website are all lies. I should have checked ratings on other websites because theyre all terrible. If i could give less than one star i would!
Paid extra to have an arrangement delivered to my mother on Mother's Day. They never delivered, and never notified me that it wasn't delivered. I only found out after I asked her about the flowers, so I had no option to make alternate plans.
I talked with customer service, and was told I should have known it wasn't delivered because I didn't receive a delivery confirmation. I did receive an order confirmation, and thought that was enough.
I certainly won't ever use Ava's again, and hope you don't get caught in the same situation.

The large arrangement i ordered for my wife B-day was quite expensive but whatever... they got the vase color wrong the bouquet was not large but average (a friend got her a bouquet from a gas station that were just as nice and same size) so ok my main problem was they wilted over in 1 day all the flowers shrunk and turned brown as if it were 6 days old especially the roses... stay away!
I ordered a balloon bouquet for someone in the hospital 5 hours from where I live I ordered balloons because I didn't figure they could be screwed up I paid $64 for nine of them the balloons did not have enough helium to stand up the mylar ones total of 6 were all exactly alike they told me they would replace the bouquet and then they change their mind and said I did not contact them within 24 hours. It was not much over 24 hours and that is when someone sent me a picture of the disaster that was sent. Stay away from these people.
I ordered flowers today in the morning for my daughter's birthday and I paid for a very expensive arrangement. The sales person told me that it will be delivered around 2.00 pm. After 5.00 pm and many phone calls they sent at 6.00 pm a bouquet which was not worth the money I paid. Please do not use this store for your events.
I have learned to always call florists before ordering to ask about the flowers that are available. Which, in this case I did. They assured me that all the items in the arrangement I wanted were in stock, I even asked the agent if she was in the physical store and she said yes (LIE). What I got was awful vs what I expected.

This company engages is illegal and fraudulent criminal activity. They will lie and deceive you as well. Do not be fooled by their statement of being in business for 30 years and being a family owned business. I spent over 8 hours trying to get my money back that they stole. The Manager acknowledged that they (Avis Flowers) engaged in illegal and fraudulent criminal activity. You will be hung up on, placed on long hold period (1 hour +) ultimately to get hung up on. This is a sham of a company and I would highly encourage you to conduct business with a more reputable company.

This place is a joke. I ordered a plant as a gift for my step dad's father that passed away and what was received looked nothing like the picture on the website! I spent over $100 and I could of bought a more presentable plant at Home Depot for $10. I am appalled at the customer service. I tried calling and was put on hold for longer than 30 minutes I finally just hung up. After emailing pictures of what I received and telling them I would like a refund and that they could have their ratchet plant back they offered my $10 store credit! Are you kidding me? I will never buy from this place again and I have never experienced such horrible customer service.
