Horrible, when you make an appointment and you drive an hour to get there to find out, they don't have somebody who fixes phones on the weekends. Funny, you shouldn't be able to make an appointment on a day. Nobody's there, much less you think somebody would call me and tell me when they get in that day to say hey ma'am, there's nobody here that can fix the phone don't waste your time, total bull$#*! not very helpful whatsoever waste of my time in the girl act like she could give a $#*!. Too bad zero is not a rating.

Save your phone
June 3, 2019

I took my Galaxy S6 into the Cleveland, TN location for a battery replacement. The staff was nice and the store was what you would expect. The shop kept me posted on their progress which was mostly bad news. Not only did they not replace the battery they destroyed the phone. The good news was there was no charge. They offered to repair the damaged phone at their cost and I declined.

I will never visit this location or any other Batteries Plus. I strongly suggest that you check out the location you choose to insure that they can repair you phone and not destroy your phone.

DO NOT GET LIFETIME WATCH BATTERY REPLACEMENT HERE! I have bought the lifetime battery replacement for several watches and all of my Michael Kors watches. And, they have them in their system. The problem is that you never see what your battery # is or what battery # they enter in their system or get any proof that you paid for the lifetime replacement on that watch. So, when I brought my Michael Kors blue and pink watches in today that I had PAID $25 each for lifetime battery replacement, they rejected them. Why? Because they said they had a different battery# listed next to them in their system. I told them you replaced the batteries and you entered it in your system, how am I responsible for the battery # being incorrect. I never saw the battery. He just said too bad thats not what the system shows! I even told him that they had replaced the battery in the pink watch a few times and he replied that he could see that, but I must have replaced the insides or something. WHAT!

I'm very disappointed in their batteries the quality they are every battery I bought and from them has been complete garbage I would not recommend to buy any batteries from them unless you want issues and problems which I would think that no one wants to deal with that

Went to the Battery Plus in Elgin. Although the battery we needed was no longer available, the lady there was very helpful trying to find one in another store. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We need more people like this in our stores. Thank You.

I was so scared to fix my phone because my iPhone was so expensive! And then I was like How much is this gonna cost? I got the estimate and my sis encouraged me to make the move. I did and here I am my phone looks like new. The cashier was very easy to talk to and the service was more than I expected. I'm really happy and even though I hope I never drop my phone again I know where I can go to fix it. :)) thank you so much!
PS: The screen from the hcqs is perfect.

Warranty no good
August 11, 2022

So, I've bought for my business some large truck batteries that are supposed to have a 2 year warranty. 2 batteries on the same truck went bad. Took it in and they said the battery has to have at least 10 volts or the warranty is voided. So my question if the battery goes bad because it shorted inside the battery then it would not have 10 volts. I was rudely told oh well it doesn't have at least 10 volts it's not covered. I called corporate and they basically said the same thing. So BUYER BEWARE. Know up front the warranty they are giving is not worth the paper it is written on

Brought my watch for a new battery. They didn't do it because they didn't have the tools. I realized after I left that they had damaged the back of my watch. I called to let them know and they were extremely rude and unprofessional.

I purchased a motorcycle battery two months ago and it just didn't hold a charge well. I took my motorcycle in for other repairs and my mechanic said the battery didn't test well, thus he replaced it. I took my defensive battery to batteries plus and asked for a store credit since I didn't need a replacement. I thought that was fair! Sales person said no only replacement! I've worked retail for 13 years and can't believe how I was treated and lack of customer care. I've been a customer for years but I'm done with them. Batteries Plus you need to take care of your customers!

Took $350 AGM Dual use battery to Santa Ana,CA Store after 1 year of a 4 year warranty period.
Store clerk was extremely rude. Stated I had to leave the battery for 2 days for testing and threatens me with a "Voided Warrranty" statement because I brought the battery in at 8 volts. Well yeah its a piece of crap. Put all the blame on me. I pick up battery 2 days later (40 Mile round Trip) and they he tells me battery is fine. 8 days later it's dead. He blames it on a low voltage draw on my car which is nonsense.
They make go through constant test protocols until you just give up. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!

Selling dead batteries
October 12, 2020

Purchased a defective battery, went to return it to get a refund. Would not give a refund because I installed it in the ATV. Once installed in ATV would not crank. Installed another battery and worked fine! They say they don't take back used batteries even though they sold me the dead battery! Called there corporate office and that was a joke! They said they don't get involved in store purchases!
I would highly recommend not doing business with Batteries Plus! What clowns.

I ordered a Duracell 24F battery online. Got an email with 30 minutes saying the battery was available for pick up at Store #159. At the store they tell me that the battery is out of stock and try to sell me another battery, which I declined. They tell me that this battery is available in #161 store and they call up #161 store and place an order for me.
I drive 10 miles to store #161, to hear the same story. At store #161 they tell me Duracell 24F is not available and try to sell me some All season battery for the same price.
It looks like the stores are trying to scam people in to buying some cheap batteries when you buy battery online

Purchased a cell phone battery in 2018 with a lifetime warranty on it. Paid twice the amount that I could have gotten it off of Amazon. Came to warranty the battery they told me that they no longer had a lifetime warranty on it. On my YouTube feed I saw a Batteries Plus advert and so that would never ever shop there again. The measured message me and told me that they would go ahead and honor the lifetime warranty on my battery so I came in and got my replacement battery I said as long as I had this phone I would get a free replacement. Now I contacted them they are rude and don't want to talk to you about anything except for buying a new battery at a discounted rate yes I got mad and started yelling at them what would you do?

My Samsung S9+ was unable to hold a charge for more then 6 hours. When I went there I asked if replacing the battery would remedy this issue, or should I buy a new phone. I was told a new battery would make the phone work like it did when it was new. After spending almost $70 for a new battery I'm dealing with the same issue. AT&T checked the phone to make sure nothings running that shouldn't. AT&T reported that there's nothing running excessively to drain the phone. When I called Battery Plus they now claim I can't expect an old phone like an S9+ to operate like a new phone which is exactly the opposite of what he told me to seal the deal on the battery. Definitely should have just gotten a new phone. Don't trust their opinions.

I am completely disgusted with my experience at this store. I ordered a new screen for my Galaxy S7 edge phone and was told it would be in within 5 days. A week goes by and I decide to call, the employee says he will check and call me right back, which is fine only they never called me back. So I call again and I am told that my part was somehow put on back order and wouldn't be in til the following week. Again, I go a week without a call so I call again and they tell me my part was once again put on back order. About 3 weeks later the part finally comes in and they do the screen repair and give me me phone back with a broken speaker. They refuse to fix it saying they did not break it and there is nothing they can do about it. Would not recommend to anyone!

Like others that posted. The sales rep kid seemed not to have a mechanical background. Was told I have to drive the vehicle for the battery to charge. Not true, start the car the alternator charges the battery. Took the battery back, they charged it to 12V then deemed it good. Plus the rep added a snotty attitude to go with it. I will look for the owner of that store for one, and also leave every negative review that I can post.

Purchased 48 mo battery from Batteries Plus in Pearland in Sept 21. Mechanic tells me battery is bad. Took battery to Pearland location, no longer exists(no indication of this when you search for closest location). Drove to Beechnut location, closed for repairs. Contacted Rosenberg location, battery not in stock. Drove to EastFrwy location (30 miles)that said they had battery. Battery had to be tested so come back tomorrow. Contacted Corporate, We can't help you. East Frey attendant called me to say warranty will not be honored because of battery abuse. I started buying my batteries from B+ but they have lost me as a customer.

Order placed May 13,2022. Was told key fob would arrive March 16,17 or 18 by latest so i expected to have a replacement key fob this week. Order to secure key fob from warehouse wasn't placed until 3/16 so now looking at earliest delivery of 3/23. Had i been told the truth about how long this would take, i would have gone elsewhere. If you have 2+ weeks to get a new key, you will be fine but getting a new key fob from batteries plus can take a min 1.5 weeks or more. Would have given them a 0 in rating if i could. Not a happy or satisifed customer. Very disappointed in delivery.

Solved my problem!
April 15, 2017

When my cell phone died I took it in to the store belonging to my carrier. They said I needed a new battery and sent me right next door to this store, which I had never heard of before. They opened it, matched the battery, and plugged it in and gave me a quick charge before I left the store. They also gave me paperwork for a Lifetime Guarantee on the new battery I purchased from them. Couldn't be better.
