DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – unless you like loaning money out to people without interest only to get it back a month and half later with nothing to show for it.

I purchased a replacement battery for our vacuum cleaner on November 16th. I reached out to the company on December 16th because I had not yet received a shipping confirmation. I was told (in writing) that "the order is scheduled to ship in 2-3 business days." I was also told that the delay was caused by a shortage of raw materials. But since it was scheduled to ship in 2-3 days, I was not worried.

I reached back out to the same person (via email) on December 11th asking if it had shipped yet. She replied advising that "the order is scheduled to ship next week Thursday/Friday." This put it around December 20th.

I waited again and on December 31st I sent another email because I still had not received shipping notification. This time, the rep (a different person) cancelled the order without my permission. I never gave the go ahead to cancel the order. They gave me a full refund. He also said they are an honest company and that the delay was caused by a shortage of raw materials.

Bottom line – it appears I was lied to. I was told it would ship in 2-3 days and it was not. I was told it would ship by next week and it was not. My order was then cancelled without me asking for it to be cancelled. I could have used this money to buy a different Christmas gift.

Repair Cracked Phone Screen
September 18, 2023

T Mobile sent me to the BatteriesPlus located at ******* S. Cleveland Ave Fort Myers Florida ******* on 9/16/2023 to repair screen.
My Samsung S21 Ultra 5g phone was purchased in January 2021 from Tmobile.
After the repair my phone no longer had 5g service.
It didn't 4g or LTG.
No service at all.
The person that replaced the screen went and opened it back up.
He then comes back and tells me its not a 5G phone.
It doesn't have a 5g antenna.
When I asked him what he did with it he denied every taking it out.
When I told him I have 4g in Colombia and 5G here in the states he said international phones show 5 and 4g when they don't have it.
Since I mentioned Colombia, he thought this Gringo bought the phone there.
Wrong.
He doubled down and said it's not a 5G phone.
T Mobile will replace my phone under warranty exchange.
There is a 11-day lead time due to not being in stock.
I run my business with this phone.
This will be a detriment to my business.
I believe legal recourse will be needed.
I wish I could give -100 stars but not an option.

They may know what they are doing but they are rude!
The white guy with the beard first didn't even make simple
Eye contact with me then, when I didn't understand a question he was asking about the cell phone battery I was buying he got mad and then he asked the question again in an angry tone. When I told him that I am deaf in one ear and that I was sorry that I didn't hear him he didn't bother to apologize. Tech people may smart about technology but they have no people skills.

I needed 6 6v batteries for my golf cart. Called several battey stores and found most had the lowest Ah (205) and the highest Ah (235) batteries. I didn't want the lowest and didn't need the highest Ah rated battery for my use. Batteries Plus had a middle of the road 215Ah battery for $144. Called my local store and placed the order. Batteries were there later that same day. I headed there with my 6 dead Batteries and picked up the 6 new ones. Drove 1-1/2 hours to put them in the golf cart at the lake. As I was doing so, I noticed that these were only 210Ah Batteries!
My fault for not checking before I left the store but this was deceiving. I double checked my receipt, the part number on the battery and their website. All agreed that they were supposed to be 215Ah not 210Ah. It doesn't sound like much, but this is how Batteries are priced. Kind of like paying for High octane gas, but getting the cheap stuff instead.
Be careful and check your purchases before leaving the store if you buy from them. If it wasn't for a 3 hour round trip, I'd have taken them back. I'll know better next time. Probably won't buy from them again, and this was my first time going there, so that's not good for them. At least the employee who helped me was friendly, and helped unload old batteries and load new ones in my truck.

That is 2.5 year per battery, and the new one cost $179.99, the one before was less than $110 five years ago.

The mount laurl store failed to give me owner information when the have lead me to believe that when they order a bettery on Sunday it will be recieved on wed. I realy dont care that corporate f!@ked up and said thattheir website said it was in stock in several local sites and was not they need to step up and do w hats right for he customer and get the battery in not make excuses as why the cannot get it it. This is total bull$#*! and poor customer satisfaction. Nothing against ANDREW AT THE MT LAUREL LOCATION just piss poor backing by corporate ant the total disregard of the owner who was our to dinner with his family

Horrible experience

If i could leave 0 stars i would. My experience with the owner of the store was horrible.
I came in with a warranty issue on a very expensive battery i bought 2 years ago. It has a 4 year replacement warranty. I had charged the battery for a week and the amps were about half what it should be.
When i brought the battery in the owner tested it on his "special" meter, it showed 12 volts. He then said "your battery is good" i told him it should read 1100 amps and it is half of that. ( his meter showed a couple of dots where the amp reading should be). I then got my meter out of my car and showed him the issue. He stated that "only his special meter could measure the amps on that particular battery " i knew that was not correct and told him so. He got very rude with me.
I then took him over to an identical brand new battery and showed him that my meter read 1050 amps. He would not accept that my meter was right.
He then said " ill warranty the battery just to get you out of my store" He was obviously embarrassed because he (the battery expert) doesnt know much about amp meters. However he claimed he could not find my account in his computer and told me i had to have the original receipt. I had a business account so i did not believe him. But there was nothing else i could do but leave dissatisfied.
The rude and disrespectful way this guy spoke to me is unacceptable. I never cussed, yelled, or raised my voice to him. I disagreed with him because he was wrong. But i was always respectful and maintained my cool.
Not only are the "best" batteries these folks sell a joke, but they do not warranty their product. Worse yet, the battery expert is a joke and only cares about taking your money. There is no customer service here!

Do not honor product
February 17, 2018

RUN the other way.
On 2/12/18 I brought my 2 year old cell phone in for a new battery. Upon picking up the phone I noticed the battery was draining faster than my old battery. I deleted many apps, and as always before turning off my phone, I closed all running apps to conserve battery life. I charged phone around noon and by 9PM the battery was down to 53% (was not using phone in order to monitor battery life). Next morning it was down to 17%.

On 2/16/18, I returned to Barry Road store and explained my issue. The staff member (Maggie/Megan) connected phone and would only repeat "your battery is charging fine". When I explained the issue, she continued to repeat the same statement over, over, over and over. Although she identified herself as a tech, she could not give any other comment. When I called back for the district managers number, I was initially told she can't give the phone number, but would give me the managers email or take my phone number. Then she took an attitude and decided she would not give me his email and would only give him a message to call me. Like that was really going to happen.

Keep you money and sanity and go somewhere else. It is not worth having an incompetent staff unable to communicate.

***UPDATE
If staff are unwilling or unable to hear complaints, contact *******287 and speak with corporate customer service. Do not go back to local store.

Completed phone charging again to 100% at 11:23 AM today. It is now 12:35 PM, (1 hour and 2 minutes) and not using my phone the battery is down to 91%. Incompetency is a sad and pathetic action by this establishment. I have since ordered a new battery through a reputable company just down the road from Batteries Plus.

I ordered a Duracell Ultra Gold BCI Group 94R Car and Truck Battery
SLI94RH7M on Sat, Oct 5,2019, 3:57 PM at BatteryBlus 138 South Dale Mabry in South Tampa, Florida. My order number is EC*******992
I drive a lot and have two vehicles. I alternate my vehicles every two weeks. Today, Saturday May 8,2022, my car's battery died and my battery is still under warranty. I brought the dead battery back to BatteriesPlus and hopefully, they exchanged for another one because It's still under warranty. Of course, I called before to make sure that my battery is still under warranty. The clerk at BatteriesPlus confirmed and I went. When I arrived at the store with the dead battery, they refused to honor the warranty and told me that I "neglect the battery". I told them I had the same problem with the battery that I bought at NAPA. When I brought the battery to NAPA, they didn't ask any questions and gave me a new battery because It was under warranty. They told me that I still "neglect the battery". It was not worth my time to argue with them. I went to NAPA and got another one. THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY and DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
