I ordered several things from Belk in March, I received all items except one. I am still disputing this charge with Belk. I am so frustrated with the customer service and, after being a Belk customer and cardholder for years, I doubt I will shop at the store or online EVER again.
Please Again, Do not buy from Belk and do not use paypal.
My bank had to close my credit card and even though i informed Paypal about this fraudulent company with hundreds of complaints, they seemed not to care. Belk tried to steal $257.22 and i caught them because i always check my credit card activity and called my bank right away and lock my card. Who knows if Belk and Paypal are working together to scam people? The only thing i know is that it was my first time buying from these Thieves (Belk) and Paypal did not protect my credit card information.

Bought 3 sheet sets from these THIEVES (BELK) and they added an additional charge on my credit card from QVC for $257.22. The ironic situation is that i used Paypal for this buy, so it seems that there is no point to use Paypal since BELK WAS ABLE TO STEAL FROM MY CREDIT CARD.
After reading the many reviews about customer's debit/credit cards being double and triple charged, I've decided to take my business elsewhere (& also where PayPal is offered at checkout). This is UNACCEPTABLE Belk!
Their credit card service is horrendous; and their delivery times are horrible. Nothing good to say. I will not use them again; in the store or online.
Lost a customer of almost 3 decades today. Good luck with the customers you choose to put importance on. Hope they spend money there. Doubtful but you just turned away a ton that do. Kudos! NOT!
I ordered a dress, the zipper was broken, sent it back to Chattanoga, TN and they said they have no record. Very disappointed! Cut up that credit card.

I ordered 4 items from their $10 kitchen sale. I am so happy I didn't pay more than that! Though I did later find out that is what most of the items would cost normally through other stores. Belk jacks the prices way up to $30-$40 on items that cost around $10 not on sale anywhere else. Their shipping is god awful! My entire order arrived in a make-shift long box. They taped 2 small boxes together and only wrapped the 2 stoneware pans in very thin bubble wrap and called it good. No other protective packaging was used to fill the enormous gaps around the items. So of course 1 was completely broken. I contacted customer service and they shipped me out a new one. Which took 2 weeks to arrive and once again arrived broken. Because once again they used a box too large for the 1 item and barely any protective packaging. They also will not allow you to leave 1 star reviews. Or at least they did not allow me to. There are still no reviews for the 8x8 stoneware baking dish with lid and I am guessing because it always arrives broken. First 2 pictures are the original order. 3rd picture is the replacement. After using each item, they are just ok quality. The baking sheets warp in a hot oven every time. The stoneware is nice but you can get it elsewhere for $10 and shipped appropriately so it arrives in 1 piece!

Order CHARGED to MY ACCOUNT July 26th and not delivered. Called after waiting being the 20th caller, was told I would received a called from an customer service person. Never received that call. I am going to call bank and dispute charge on card. No more on line ordering at Belk's for me.
I gave Belk Customer Service a call today and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got a hold of a 'real' person who spoke fluent English. The representative I spoke with was very polite and resolved my issue promptly. Overall, I am impressed with the service I recieved.
After being "upgraded" to a Belks MasterCard, I found duplicate charges along with a "card security" charge for a service I never signed up for. After trying to get clarification, I wound up closing the account when customer service did not remove the bogus charge
I ordered travel bag for my emergency trip to out of country and bag came damaged, I have to leave in next day for 2 months and they told me you need to go to Belk store for further assistance and ended my chat, if someone have emergency and don't have time how they can go? They should send me another bags is priority, I have to order that on Amazon and paid extra to faster service,(next day)
They didn't gave me refund or support, I lost more then $100 plus spend extra for another

I was trying to return two unopened boxes. I called and kept getting forwarded or placed in hold for phone to hang up. I them texted and when I told agent what it was pertaining to (a return) she left me on hold until time expired. I will NEVER order from BELK on line again. Please read reviews before ordering. DO NOT ORDER ON LINE. ITS LIKE BUYING A LEMON CAR. BUYER BEWARE.
I love Belk always have today I had to go to bed to pick up some things and gifts and Anderson South Carolina I was horrified The store looked like all I can bear to is when as a child I went to feinstein's bargain basement and people were throwing clothes all over it was a disaster. There was no spring collection that I could find in the store shoes all great deals 60% there nothing but boots and size eight and a half nines no six very few sixes some sevens.
I like the items on belk, the priced are okay unfortunately everytime I try to place an order they tell me they cannot process my card and then there will be a hold on my card. Whenever I call customer sewrvice am usually put on hold for about 10 mins. When I finally place the order after about 4days I receive an email that the items are out of stock. Placing a phone order is even worse I have to reas out the UPC numbers of all the items I want to buy with the sizes and colours. Who needs all that hassle. No, belk still has a long way to go on their checking out.
I have shopped at the Belk store in Alabama, but since I moved I have made three online purchases. The shipping is slow and the packaging is dismal. I purchased two Frye purses, one pair of earrings, and a Free People cardigan. The two purses were great but the package took a very long time to deliver and it was torn by the time I received it. The purses were fine. The earrings, they were LeVians and did not come with any paper or information, it was just thrown in a levian box. The delivery took forever too, and the small box was pretty flimsy. The last piece was a pretty cardigan that was pricey. They sent the wrong size and it was just thrown inside a plastic bag, no tissue, or outer cover, nothing. I sent the cardigan back and on the 11th, it was received. It is now the 30th and I haven't received a credit. I am following up on the return and they are giving me the run around and not answering my call. I called customer service and the persons name was Stephen who ended up just transferring me after I told him about the return. I tried calling again, but its been several minutes. No tone or response indicating a timeframe for waiting. I am just super disssapointed with this company and its lack of service. I won't be ordering from them again. Shop elsewhere, there are far better places than Belk, with just as good of discounts and product. Don't waste your time.
I ordered a shirt for Christmas for my elderly-not well father-in-law on December 15TH. On December 20th I received an email saying the shirt had shipped. I then received an email saying the order was "delayed" and the shirt would arrive December 28TH. I asked Belk to cancel the order because they did not inform me it was out of stock. They claimed the delay was the shipper but offered no proof. I ordered a shirt from Amazon and it arrived bf Christmas. The Belk shirt arrived late. I cannot ask my sick father-in-law to return this item so I guess I will fight them on my credit card. I tried to put this complaint on the Belk website but apparently you cannot leave a bad review there. (Are they shipping by camel?)
I tried for a week (no exageration) to place a large order. There were so many website glitches that even the customer service folks I telephoned - several times - couldn't complete the order. The 15% promotional discount I was applying to the order for applying for a Belk card expired while trying to work out the bugs. I finally asked to talk to a supervisor; I explained all the problems I'd encountered placing the order, to include the Belk card promotion code, and asked them to help get the order placed. He promised he would, only to call and leave me a message that he couldn't do anything until my Belk card (that I hadn't even received) was authorized, then I could call back and place the order. I gave up.
