I ordered some make up. Received part of my order but not the EsteemLauder night cream. According to tracking, it never got shipped. I sent 2 emails, never heard one word. Called customer service and was told the info could be wrong, so I have to wait another 14 days and if not received to call back. He said they would refund or resend product. Horrible service. Thinking of doing a charge back from credit card and contacting BBB. Horrible customer service.
I have a wonderful experience today in belk in athens. Kelvin is the best sales associate I have delt with in a very long time. He was extremely helpful in helping me find what i wanted, had a wonderful personality and attitude and very knowledgeable at his job. I give Kelvin in Athens Ga Belk 5 stars all across the board!
I ordered a pair of shoes that did not fit properly. I called about a return shipping label and was told that I would receive it via email. TWO weeks later of me repeatedly calling because I wasn't receiving any label, I am told that they don't do that anymore and that I was responsible for the return shipping fee. So I pay it and return the shoes and spend almost two months calling them periodically about my money. I finally get $48 of the $129 refunded. I call about the remainder and they say that they sent it and it is now the banks problem if I don't have it. Horrendous experience.
They steal from us and never deliver our items... I will not rest till you give me what i paid for! You took what was from me! It was supposed to be a Christmas present $#*!*oles! I will seek legal measures if y'all don't refund me what I paid for that wallet.
Although the other half of my order shipped late I had previously written a review explaing what happened thinking I wasn't getting the rest at all but luckily I just received. Idk if something got held up in the mail or what but I finally received my purchase, everything is good quality and that included my free gift with purchase so I just want to say I am very very satisfied. Thanks Belk! I will continue to order from you.
I went today to return jeans I had bought since we aren't allowed to try them on in the store. I waited in line for 10-15 minutes since there was only 1 clerk at the counter. When I got to the counter the clerk said I would have to go to a different counter for returns. So I went to that counter with only 1 clerk and waited another 10-15 minutes. I finally left. You need to fire upper management and hire people who know how to run a business.
If you use a debit card, beware that they will charge you the full amount and call it a preauthorization and then charge each item as it is shipped. If the item ships the same day, you will be out twice the amount of money and customer service says it takes 3-5 days to reimburse you for the "preauthorization".
Tried to order and when I entered my card info, it would not accept it saying that there was a problem with the highlighted area. All info was correct and NOTHING was highlighted!
They just lost a nice big order!
Everyone that I know and ive experienced it myself says the store is so HOT they have to stop shopping and leave! They become so hot in the store that we cant wait to get out of there! My sister has had a lot of things to purchase but has had to leave them and go home she got so hot and sick! Its so stupid to have our stores here temperature controlled by someone in another state! Our temps are so different than other states! Just keep it up if you want to lose all your businesx! We will be traveling to Birminhgam to shop at other stores and not Belks
I ordered a set of sheets from Belk. The first set of sheet they sent the top sheet was one color and bottom sheet was another color. I should have known. But I agreed to another set of sheets. This time the sheet were not sewn correctly. The pillow case was sewn at an angle and a pillow would not fit into it. The top sheet hem was sewn so it would not lay flat. I even sent them pictures at their request because they thought I was lying. (they so much as said that) Eeven with the pictures they would not agree to a return. I am sending these damage sheets back and will never order anything from them again. I would advice people to order from Amzon. They take damage goods back. Stay away from this company
Purchased a nutcracker online and recieved it in a box 4 times it size damaged in 6 pieces and now received another nutcracker in the mail damaged as well. Very poor packing even an infant could do a better packing job.
Last night I purchased a luggage set on sale and the first time I tried to order it, it said my card did not go through. I tried again, and it didn't work. So I tried one more time finally it went through. I got an email saying my order was placed. The next morning I get an email saying it was canceled and little did I know it was out of stock! They charged my card 3 times and failed to tell me the item was out of stock! Terrible service.
I will never order from this company again! My first time ordering from Belk, which I should have looked up the reviews like I normally do, I paid over $100 for these leather ivory studded books. I opened the box and to my horrific sight the tip of the boots has black smudges on the both boots and black smudge marks on the sides of the boots. I am removing the afterpay that I did for this nasty pathetic company. I hope they go out of business for sending their customers nasty and disgusting items. Shame on your company. I'm gonna report them to the Business better bureau. I had to order leather cleaner from Amazon to take off the dirt smudges bc I don't have the time nor energy to go through the hassle and inconvenience to find out how to return this items. I have two more shoes on the way and I'm terrified to open the boxes. I wished I hadn't cleaned those boots so I can show you how they came.
Belks closed my account due to rejected payment... when the PMT was returned it was due to previous fraudulent issues on my personal bank account where I pay my bills from... my bill was paid 5 days later but they still closed my account. When I called to address the issue they not once asked why the PMT was rejected they just said my account was closed. I spend a lot of money in BELKS and when the customer is calling to find out what happen you just say it's closed due to rejection of PMT... when the customer is trying to explain the issues and you don't listen it's is bad business.
We went to pick up a couple of items at our local Belk store on New Braunfels, Texas. There were only TWO cashiers in the entire store, and one of them was looking on their phone while slowly, slowly helping the person in front of them. The other was backed up and neither appeared to know how to operate the register. There appeared to be a few other employees wandering among half-stocked shelves. My wife used to like to go to Belk, but it is nothing like what it used to be.
I ordered polo blue sport cologne on the first of December, and just received the cologne today on December 23rd and it was polo sport. The wrong cologne, and when I called them to fix it. They told me they would send me a return sticker and they would overnight the correct cologne to me. Then they said that they were out of the product and would not get any more of it in. Then they said they would return the money to my credit card, but it would take 4 to 6 days. I have two days to buy another Christmas present and don't have the money to buy one now. There is no reason that it should take 3 weeks to get an order and then have it be wrong. I will never order from this site again, and I will make sure no one I know orders from here as well.
Eva from the cosmetic department at the Belk in Southpoint Mall, went over and above in her service. I wanted to get a product, but it wasn't available through that brand and she offered to show me something similar in a different brand that I liked better and it was less expensive!
Went to belks to buy pants for a wedding. They were running a discount. Turns out I got a credit card I didn't know I was applying for, they sent me to collections, and ruined my credit over a pair of pants and I never received the card so I kept reporting the calls from synchrony bank as fradulent. Will never be walking into a belks ever again. Entire thing felt manipulative and backhanded.
I saw a Doorbuster piece of luggage I wanted and it went out of stock. I called and spoke to a woman and she said if the item came back in stock or if I could find it in a store I could get the Doorbuster
Price. Well guess what she was 100% wrong! When the item came back in stock no customer service agent would honor the Doorbuster price. They asked if I took a picture of the Doorbuster price? I said why would I? They said in order to give me the Doorbuster price I would have to give them a screenshot of the heavily discounted price. I said how would I know that? That isn't what the woman told me on the phone otherwise I would've taken a picture so I could've gotten the Doorbuster price.
Very disappointing because that isn't what the first woman told me.
I went into Belk show department to buy my son a pair of shoes. I had to keep searching for an employee to help me. One employee came and checked for a pair of shoes and quickly left. I went and searched for another employee and he said he was busy to ask an employee across the aisle. Approached another employee and she was not nice. She acted as if I was a bother and had a nasty attitude. The customer service was horrible. I left and went to Dillards.
