I ordered a casket for my recently deceased 26-month-old grandson. The casket was supposed to be delivered on Oct 5th prior to the funeral on Monday the 12th. The owner Terry Zimmer assured me that it would be here. The Funeral home called today Oct 7th to find out where the casket was. I contacted BMX exports aka Best Price caskets to find out what the hold up was. After 2 hours of the runaround, I was informed that they didn't ship it and were out of stock. No one contacted me, my card was charged for $1100 and we have no casket for the funeral. My children who just lost their son now have to choose a stock steel casket to bury their child. Terry Zimmer told me I was stupid several times asked me if I was going to cry now. He is an evil man with no consideration for human loss or grief. Please do not order anything from this company or any of its subsidiaries.

Thank God I have found a better place to buy a casket for my dad. After I called a few casket companies, I found https://trustedcaskets.com, they have exactly the same casket but are much more cheapie. The casket from Trusted Caskets arrived at my funeral home on time with no issues. Be aware of unprofessional companies.
My wife called to order a casket and was hit with a barrage of rude comments and questions... by the owner of the company no less! I am concurring with the numerous reviews here stating the same thing.
Worst customer service I ever received. The guy we spoke to became very rude to us. We just asked a simple question of what type of caskets does his company uses. He became vey belligerent. So belligerent, we told we him that we didn't need his service. We hung up. This guy had the nerves to call back. My niece picked up the phone and told him that we didnt his service. He called my niece stupid. My family heard this along with the funeral director! I cant believe this guy conducts business like this. I was so irate, I would love to see this guy face to face! This is a guy that hides behind the telephone and is probably a keyboard warrior! This company should not be in business!
Senior home needed information, I called for the 160 tenants here. Have NEVER experienced such toxic attitudes. First ladies sounded like teenagers
Especially in their third-degree response. Then guy came on phone, without any hesitancy, started almost yelling. I had called *******061. I told him that did not intend to deal with such an un-professional firm. Joker called me back from *******699... DEMANDING Why I would not talk to him. He cursed and yelling again. Would never do business here. Might get a casket with holes drilled in it. I owned 3 good companies and only reason anyone would act so poorly is either trying to ruin company as a mole or using drugs, in my opinion.
My Mom was on hospice for 8 months. We started planning her funeral about 1 month before she died in Sept. 2017. We found a great 18 gauge steel casket with free shipping to Hurst, Tx. The funeral director said it was good quality and was surprised because online caskets are often misrepresented. No surprises and delivery was just as promised. Salesman was not super sympathetic but that's not what I was interested in. I would recommend this company to anyone, they saved us over $3000. Now my Dad is on hospice and I will start looking for his casket today, to be purchased from Best Price Caskets. Thank you so much for making this process so much easier!
Very rude salesman on first call, asked if I was going to purchase a casket or not? Called again when need arose and spoke with someone a bit more friendly and understanding. Asked where caskets were made, she said U.S. Ordered a solid cherry casket, loss gloss, specific hardware. At funeral home when unpacked it was not what I ordered. Cherry, very high gloss, different hardware. Tag on end said "Made in China" They never called to tell me the model I ordered was not in stock. Very poor customer service or compassion, it felt like dealing with a used car salesman. Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy rudeness and not receiving what you ordered.
On the day of delivery I was asked by the funeral home to contact them to make sure delivery would be on time. Salesperson was very rude and complained a little about me calling. When I arrived at the funeral home for my mothers viewing, she was in the wrong casket. Days after funeral I contacted them, not to ask for anything only to let them know, Same salesperson was rude again and didn't even offer an apology. He said they would go check make sure they were marked properly for future orders. How sad?
He did not mention that he save $3500 and the casket was beautiful. We sell 20,000 caskets per year so in the past 2 years we sold 40,000 caskets. THis is the only one mentioning they received the wrong casket. Not likely to happen apparently.
Best price caskets used several names. This business and California Caskets need a zero. The Salesperson is rude and should be closed down. I called a couple of times and asked questions about a casket. The salesperson asked if I called before I said yes. He related you already asked that question. He was so rude. He has no compassion for people who are grieving. He hides under names because his rating are so bad. When you call the different business they transfer all the calls to him. He lied and said his caskets come from United States and I was told he gets them from China..
My mother is very near death. Having done some research on casket prices, I just now called Best Price Caskets. The salesman had an attitude from the get-go, answering the phone, "caskets." I gave him the number of the casket my mother had chosen, and told him I needed to know the price with shipping. He said, "Take the price and add $95 or about $250 to that." When I told him I wanted an exact price, so I could compare it with the funeral home's price, he said, sounds like you just want the cheapest box you can get, no seal or anything. Why don't you just call the funeral home back and tell them that? I asked to speak with someone else with s better attitude. He said, "Are you capable of adding? If so, add $95 to the casket price." I hung up on him, and immediately called back to complain. The "supervisor" with whom I spoke said he was pretty sure he knew who I was talking about. Then why on earth is the guy still employed?
Add $95 or $250 to the price depending on shipping option. Is this tough? Answering the phone "Caskets". He is complaining about this? Unique individual. We have more than one web site, so if we answer the phone with one company name, then others that called from the other web site will wonder why we answered with the wrong name. We sell to funeral homes under the name of "Funeral Showroom" while we have two other web sites. We answer with the generic name of "Caskets" and he loses it. Unbelievable. We will sell 1600 caskets per month. We will always come across people like this.
Answer: Price shop online for the casket you want. Then approach the funeral home that you have chosen and ask them if they will match the price. Funeral homes are already making money on the funeral services and they hate internet competition. In my case they matched the price and I even avoided the shipping costs.
Answer: I purchased a casket from Best Price Caskets and the casket was of excellent quality, arrived on time, and was boxed and packaged correctly to prevent damage. In fact the funeral home asked for my signature to authorize the funeral home to uncrate the casket so it could be inspected. The funeral home uncrated in my presence and all was OK. A form then was sent to Best Price Caskets that all had arrived OK.
