I had ordered a cosmetics case through bluefly in September, and proceeded through to checkout without login in as a member. Once the site had processed my details, it displayed an error message. At that point I had not received any confirmation of purchase. I had thought, maybe I should create a membership to process the order, and that had worked.
After the purchase had been confirmed, I double checked my paypal, just to check the rates and realised I'd been charged for the initial order I had placed (which I received the error message), I quickly messaged bluefly customer service to try and figure out what had happened and to cancel the initial order.
I received an email back 3 days later saying I cannot cancel an order via email, although it was the fault of the website failure that had caused the issue.
There had been emailing back and forth, with various bluefly customer service team members, not being able to locate the initial order due to different email addresses being used, where they could've simply searched for matching names and addresses, which could've been a simple solution.
Afterward, I shipped the initial order back, and only received a partial refund. I received a completely random amount on the return shipping (clearly they should not be running a business if they can't do simple maths), then also a partial refund on the item and even charged for a $6.95 shipping fee when blatantly it was at the fault of their website.
It has been 2 weeks since their last email of 'We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you. We are further researching the credits to your order so that we may give you a clearer understanding of what you were charged. We will be sending more information to you shortly. We appreciate your patience.'
So, please please please, save yourself the agony of dealing with this so called 'company', save yourself the hassle, they may have great deals, but trust me, it's so not worth it!

I bought 2 items a watch and a purse. I was very excited but was horrified and needless to say mad as hell when they arrived. First off the things they will send you don't look even near to the picture they present in their website, 2nd most items they would not list the dimensions on their website on the item descriptions, so you figured i ordered a watch first when arrived it was clearly a refurbished watch, 2nd it was HUGE, and didnt look at all at what the put in the pic (It was the Aquaswiss G swissport), just HORRIBLE. The purse I ordered didnt have the dimensions either listed when arrived it was a purse made for midgets or toddlers because what thought it was gonna be a real life size purse turned out to be a toy purse. So you imagine my deception after first time buying in this website. When I emailed costumer service they told me I couldn't return the watch (the most expensive item) because it was a final sale! Seriously? So my advice to you if you shop here go on your own risk and be prepared to be disappointed. Thats all I can said. As far as my money they would not have it never again.

I will never shop at BlueFly again. I ignored the numerous horrific reviews posted about this business and made a large purchase, almost $2000 worth of clothing, with the intention to return a portion based on fit and look in person.
BlueFly advertises "easy returns." This assertion is deceptive bordering on a complete lie. I tried to return about a third of my purchase within about 30 days of purchase. BlueFly refused the returns saying it was outside of the return window. I looked everywhere on my paper receipts, my emailed receipts and on the website for the return policy and could find no time limit. As it turns out, the actual return date is only indicated (in very small font) on the item description at the time of purchase. And further, the description does not indicate if return limit is based on date of purchase, date of shipment, date of receipt of items, or date of charge to credit card. I was told all of my items had a 14-20 day return limit. I honestly have no way to even confirm this because many of the items aren't listed in their inventory anymore and I never received a receipt documenting return policies (Is this even legal?) One of the items also arrived damaged and still refused for return.
I emailed numerous times with customer service and asked to send pictures, explanations, etc. and was just flat out ignored.
To be fair, the customer service reps who actually talk to customers on the phone are polite. This is a senior administration/company policy issue.
Anyway, long story short - DO NOT spend your money here. I cannot stress enough that this is a company has hidden return policies and the "easy returns" borders on false advertising. You have a very real risk of receiving an item at the very limit of your return limit and then being refused returns, even if the item is damaged.

This is the worst company I've dealt with when it comes to customer service. It's as if they train all their staff to make it as difficult as possible for a customer to return items. I had a huge order sent to me and their representative helped me and checked me out as a "guest" customer. Most items did not work out and it was a huge order, ~ $4,000. I didn't know what to do as the order didn't come up on my account. I had no way to return them because the order didn't even show up in my account. Finally, when I called them, the representative said it was all FINAL sale! I went back to check each and every item and none of them were final sale! They just outright lied to me. I then called back and complained about why they would claim that the items were final sale when they were all still being sold on the site as regular items. They said they would look into it. I didn't hear back for a while and when I called them again, they said that they emailed me labels to return the items but I never got them. I then called again several times and they said that they would look into it only to tell me that the time to return has passed therefore, I cannot return any of the items.
Meanwhile, I see them still selling the same items I am stuck with which I have never worn, still in plastic bags and hangers worth about $4,000.
This company should be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission.
They are downright deceptive to their consumers. I have many friends who have had the same experience with this company and they are never shopping there again.
I strongly advice anyone who is thinking of shopping at Bluefly to heed other people's warnings. Stay away and shop elsewhere!

I ordered two pairs of sunglasses, and 20 days after a shipping label was created, my order still was in a completely different state. I called bluefly customer service, and they said they would have to contact their 3rd party vendor to ask THEM to resolve the shipping issue. I asked if I could just have refund at that time and they said NO. Then I called 3 days later, and again asked if you would contact the company. At this point, four 20-minute phone calls in, they said again they would contact the company, and then send me an email. 3 days later I had heard nothing, so I called, and the customer service lade said she would just refund my money, because she thought the item had sold out and I could not get another, and they would not try and get the items delivered to the right place. So, after holding my money for a month, costing me approximately 2 hours of phone time, all I got in return was a promise of a refund. I asked if there was a credit or something would do to remedy the inconvenience, and after 5 minutes on hold, the lady offered me 10% off my next order. I told her never mind. They would literally have to ay me to try to order anything from them again! They are incompetent, refuse to refund your money until they've held it for a looong time, and cost you hours of time sorting their own customer service problems. I should not have had t resolve this issue so proactively, if I would not have called myself so many time, they would have never refunded my money. Do not shop here. The negative reviews posted are all very characteristic of my experience. I should have believed them.
Here is an update, I finally received my lost sunglasses. The mail tracking still showed they were lost, but they arrived at my door. I called BlueFly to let them know, and they CHARGED MY CARD! They were cheaper looking too than in photographs. I was not allowed to return them, even though they arrived a month later. This phone call took another 20 minutes of life as well. Great that they reward honesty.
