I ordered a bomber jacket from boohoo and turns out that it was too big for me, so I had to refund it. I simply wanted a smaller size but they don't have such thing as an "exchange", they expect you to return the purchase and wait until you get your money back to place another item. Anyways, when I returned the item, I had to pay for shipping. Which was ridiculous that I had to take money out of my own pocket to returned something back that I don't want. That technically means that I don't even get my "full refund". They said that return items will take no longer than 21 days. And my item took WAY OVER A MONTH. Uhhh... It usually takes 1-2 weeks on average for other companies. Anyways, I emailed them a couple of times and all they did was spam email me about unnecessary stuff and saying that it's normal for returns to take this long. And then I finally got an email asking for proof of my refunded receipt. I sent them a photo back yesterday and they FINALLY emailed me today that I'll be getting my money back in 3-5 business days. I would've liked for them to explain to me on why my refund took SO DAMN LONG but I didn't get an explanation. Mind you that I returned my item on 12/11/15 and today is 01/19/16! I didn't even get an apology back. Don't order from this site. They make returns so complicated.

I don't usually write reviews but figured I would just because this site really overcame my expectations. So Boohoo was doing a 50% off dresses, bodysuits, tops, and skirts and I purchased two tops and two bodysuits for only about 30 dollars before tax which I thought was a great deal. It wasn't until after I submitted the order that I started to read reviews and get worried. The first red flag was that in my order confirmation email the clothing being sent was labeled as a size 6, when I distinctly remembered ordering a 2. I figured out however that the reason it is a different sizing in the confirmation email is because a UK size 6 (since boohoo is UK based) is equivalent to a US size 2. So that problem was averted. I got standard shipping which calls for 8-10 business days and I got my package in 7 days. The clothes arrived packaged neatly, with no rips or stains, and everything fit, looked as the product did online, and was made out of good material. I know this place hasn't been the best to others but I have to say that my experience was a 5/5 and hopefully this means that they are improving their services.

I have been in contact with the customer service for
MONTHS! I was first told I was going to get a refund on an item that was faulty, the fabric was looking really bad. However, I never received the money. It was through Klarna which feel safe, and they can back it up to. Boohoo claim that they had sent it but Klarna customer service can't see it and I have not gotten it. Klarna asked me to contact customer service again and now I am in a loop… they do not want to pay me back my money even though they sent me an item that was broken… every time they tell me the same story without even looking at my actual request. After a loooong conversation back and forth they sent my request to a "special unit" but did I hear back? NO! I have never been treated so bad by a company and would never order from them again and please don't! If the item is faulty they won't make a refund. The most annoying part is that they have waited out this for months and have now said that because the order was made 6 months ago they cannot give me a refund as they cannot process the Klarna order. But when talking to customer service at Klarna they said it is just one button, easy and simple… unbelievable!

I made a purchase when I was in the UK using my card from the Caribbean...I returned the purchase for a refund. Instead of using my card billing address Boohoo.com processed my refund with wrong details. It is months...since December 2022 I am trying to get this sorted. I NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND AND THEY ALL BUT SAY TO ME TOUGH LUCK. I AM NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN.
Boohoo you can talk all your crap about ARN number bottom line is the information coming from you leaves a lot to be desired. First of all you emailed me to say a refund was processed in the amount of £30 on the 29th of December 2022. This turned out to be false...then you later said in another email that a refund of £28.01 was processed in January 2023. Either way NO REFUND CAME INTO MY ACCOUNT SO KEEP THE MONEY since it means more to you than customer retention or loyalty.

This was the worst online shopping experience of my life. Seriously. I ordered two coats from them, they arrived late and looked nothing like the photos. I ordered the same size for both yet they were completely different. I barely fit in one and the other was HUGE, I can't wear either of them. The color was dingy and one of them doesn't even have pockets. When I inquired about a return I was told there was a $6 return fee per item. I told them it wasn't fair I had to pay for a return for low-quality, misleading products. They asked for photos, which I provided. Then they asked for more photos but on hangers, which I provided. Suddenly my emails were "undeliverable." So I reached out again starting a new ticket and they asked for more photos, but also said there's nothing they can do. When I begged them to just resolve this case they stopped responding. I've been emailing them for weeks now they just don't respond. With the incorrect sizing, incorrect color, and missing pockets, this should not be on me to pay to return. I have never in my life been ignored by a retailer and perhaps if they had simply resolved this months ago I would have bought from them again. Their products may be low quality but the people responsible for handling customers are even lower quality, if that's even possible. I'll never buy anything from boohoo and encourage everyone to do the same. Wasted my money but they'll never get another penny from me.

One star really is too much to give to this company. I placed an order for two pairs of joggers, finally received them in the mail a month later (covid-19 restrictions, I understand). HOWEVER, when finally receiving the items, I opened my package to see that the joggers looked absolutely nothing like the ones featured on the website. There was no drawstring, no pockets, the material was ridiculously thin and see-through. I sent countless emails, WhatsApp messages, and then Facebook messages, and I got the same pathetic excuse every time. The items I ordered are conveniently out of stock right now so they can't ship them to me, and the only way to get a refund is to go out of my way to the post office, pay out of my own pocket for shipping, wait for them to receive it, get my refund, then send my receipt from the post office, maybe get that refunded, and then I can re-order the items when they're back in stock and maybe get the correct items. I have truly never regretted an online order more in my entire life. Avoid this company at all costs, don't waste your time or money, it is legitimately not worth it. Oh and fun fact- I ordered some t-shirts and they all had a "Gildan" tag attached to them instead of a BooHoo tag. Hilarious.

I am a male fashion blogger, I always try online shops from all over the world and review them, even if they don't sponsor me. Followed by many on Lookbook and Instagram, a lot of people rely on my sincere reviews.
I found Boohoo long ago and put it on my wait list. Two months ago, I decided to place my first order and try it out, it was sales so I picked a jacket with faux fur in khaki.
They said on their website that I will receive it in between 5 and 15 days as I shipped it to Morocco. Although I am always ok with delays because it's out of compagnies control, this one was just too much! 15 days went by and still nothing. Ok. I waited 5 more days. I sent a message to ask where it was, but it's always the same thing: "Please wait few more days".
One month and a half later, still nothing. No refund, no Boohoo credit to have something else. NOTHING. After exactly two months (even parcels I get from China arrive after 20 days max) I received the jacket. Happy because it's here, I was so keen to discover how good it is.
Big surprise, a jacket with no fur! The fur was missing! I was so pissed, I will surely slam this irresponsible compagny on my blog. Expect thousands of followers all over the world to be alarmed!

I am here during quarantine and wanted to buy from a website I never purchased from. I decided to check reviews on a website I regularly purchase from (sometimes I truly spend tooooo much). I am astonished at all the poor reviews on Bohoo. Their customer service is really good, I communicate through WHATSAPP whenever I had a problem with sizing which was only once out of dozens of orders, and I am always answered. Their clothes are really good quality for the great prices. I honestly think sometimes the competition is writing these reviews as Bohoo is definitely not a bad place to get reasonably affordable clothing that is good quality. And no. I ordered 3 pair of pants that were on sale on FEBRUARY 3rd. My annual family trip starts March 12th, today is March 8th and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER. Don't order from them they are one big scam. I contacted customer service and they keep giving me the run around saying it'll be here on this date and that date comes and go STILL NO PACKAGE. The website boohoo.com is a scam website that runs the following way, they sell clothes that are made to look nice on the websites but are actually so bad in quality and fit that people are very likely to return them back. They make money in the following way:
1. Take an extra $5 fee for delivery or $15 fee for express delivery, and irrespective of the amount paid they deliver it using the cheapest postal service available and it reaches late even if you pay the $15 amount
2. The clothes are made using poor quality fabrics and are not wort the the money charged for it.
3. They PROMISE their customers "FREE RETURNS" - it is mentioned on their website and the mails they send the customer, so that people are fooled into returning products.
4. They do not send the right label for returning the products and ask the customer to return the product using their money and saying that they will refund the money back.
The website is a total scam that probably send the same products over to customers again and again and makes money by charging them for delivering and returning products

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I recently purchased 8 items via KLARNA but they only shipped 2. After I reached out for help they refused to and told me that all items were shipped and they aren't refunding or replacing the items. It's also weird how they didn't include receipts or order information, no paperwork at all. Plus there's no way that all the items I ordered fit into this little bag they sent! BUYER BE AWARE! DONT ORDER. BESIDES FOR THE FACT THAT THEIR SIZING IS HORREDOUS AND CLOTHING CHEAP QUALITY, There are a bunch of other reviews that say the same thing, but I placed a 20 item order and 2 of the items were missing and when you contact boohoo, they tell you they need to review the footage. This is insane because they package their items in a thin plastic bag, and when it arrives it looks like it has been repackaged 4x. My guess is the items fall out during shipping, and boohoo doesn't care to switch carriers or investigate this.

Paid for express delivery (2-3 days) on Monday, it is now Sunday. On Thursday afternoon I sent an email to their "customer service". The response was they had had tracked my delivery and it was on its way. I didn't realise that that I could track the skirt myself and what they had failed to tell me (because they are dishonest liars that run a questionable business), was they already knew I wasn't going to receive my package until next week at the earliest. What the?!?!
I run a store and yes mistakes happen, but firstly I would do everything to fix the problem and secondly I would not lie to a customer! I paid for express because I needed it for an event, if they had the decency to let me know it wasn't coming I could have bought something at a store beforehand.
Now because the "customer service" (I stress I use that term losely) team via email did not follow up, try to fix anything and are liars, I thought I'd let others know though Facebook. Its funny how quick they are to respond when you let others know about their lousy business. Suddenly I was responded to straight away. The lady was lovely and they refunded the express post, but would not acknowledge the fact I had been lied to or apologize on behalf of the company. I do stress that she was lovely and helpful.
Since then I have sent numerous emails to Boohoo and have had no response.
This does not seem to be an isolated incidence from all the other reviews, just wish I'd seen them beforehand.
I will never shop here again and will tell everybody else not to.

I hace been ordering from this company for the last few months. But lately they got me pissed off! I placed an order for a special occassion on may 1st, usually it takes 4 days to reach but today is 11th may and i have still not gotten the item. Guess what!? I contacted boohoo (i got jess on msg) and complained about my delivery. She said the item has been returned to them because the carrier came and i was not around. Usually they leave a mesaage directing you on where you can pick up your item but they did not even deliver my item because those few days i was at home. I asked the lady to resend the item and she refused as it is not in their policy. This is a very bad customer service. I am very frustrated! And i am not alone. Friend of mine got the same experience. I wanna place an order from them again but i am afraid the item wld not arrive. Very disapointed about boohoo.

I'm not going going to lie, there's some cute stuff on this website. Too much probably, makes sifting through kinda difficult.
That aside, I'm writing this review because I believe their customer policies to be unfair and misleading. I placed an order whilst they had one of their promotions for 30% off, with the code ending at midnight. Entered that code - absolutely fine. Go to enter the code for free shipping - wouldn't work. At this stage it's about 11:30pm a. K. a. Not enough time to contact customer service, receive a respond and then order.
So i placed the order and paid for shipping, thinking if I could contact them and explain that the free shipping code wouldn't work they would be able to refund me the cost of shipping. Nope! When I wrote to customer service I got no response at all. So I took to their facebook where I was flat out told that they won't refund anything once an order has been placed.
I haven't even received my order yet, but had I known that it would not be possible to get a refund on the postage I simply wouldn't have ordered and waited for another day. It may have only been $5, but its the principle. If my order qualifies for free shipping it should be honoured. And that's why I won't be shopping with boohoo again.

Do NOT ORDER ANYTHING from these crooks! I ordered a skirt for my teenage daughter for Christmas and paid to have it expedited. Then it didnt come in then 2 Days I paid EXTRA for. They did CLAIM they would refund me... HAS YET TO HAPPEN. When I received the item, IT WAS DEFECTIVE! The zipper was clearly broke! They said the do not do exchanges and I could pay $6.95 to return it and wait 2 weeks for a refund... told them NO THANK YOU! I will donate the skirt. Made a large order from BooHoo, and returned some items which they confirmed they had accepted back on 3 Nov. No refund was received so I contacted them on 25 November. The customer service team said the refund to the credit card had failed (as it had expired and a new card issued - a common situation which Visa/MasterCard insist a retailer has processes to handle). Boohoo apparently knew about it but hadn't bother contacting me to let me know and just held on to the money.
New details were provided and I was promised a refund in 3 - 5 days. That never happened and I kept chasing. I asked for it to be escalated to a manager but they refused. I raised a separate complaint via resolver which was ignored by the customer service team, and their team leader when escalated to them.
Eventually, and only after tell them I was initiating legal action shortly, a refund was finally received in January over 2 months after the items were returned. But the only compensation was £5 in store credit despite them hanging on to my money for 2 months, which I clearly rejected. I have written to them giving one last chance else I will be going to the small claims court to get my compensation.
Learn from my mistake and avoid this appalling company. As I understand in Boohoo have:
Breached the Consumer Contracts Regulations
Breached their own terms and conditions
Breached Visa Europes policies for handling refunds

I am a first time customer with Boohoo, and I was really looking forward to receiving my shipment because I'd heard really good things about them. I placed my order on 3/17 a month before I would need the items, thinking that this would give enough time for the shipment to process and be delivered. I was promised that the shipment would only take 8 days. Here it is two weeks later and I have still not received my order. I can be patient, I have had orders take longer. I understand that it is not completely Boohoo's fault that the shipment has been delayed, but my complaint is not about the shipment being delayed, but rather the way that Boohoo's customer service has handled my situation so far. I have been in contact with 2 different reps, and both left me feeling very helpless. The last person I spoke with was patronizing. It is your job to deal with customers and help them with their issues, so why act as though that isn't your job? Why treat your customers disrespectfully? A customer service rep's job is to de-esculate, but instead I was left feeling like they were trying to get rid of me. My first experience with Boohoo is not looking good. I will not be ordering from them again in the future. I will update on the progress of this issue so other's can learn from my experience.

At first I was scared to order from boohoo because of the bad reviews but I did anyway with my hopes high. On my order the sizes changed to U. K so I thought they were going to send the wrong size I dm'd boohoo on twitter and they helped me. The sizes convert because it is a U. K. based store, but when my items got to me it was the correct US size I order on November 9th, 2016 & my order came November 15th, 2016, so in total it took 4 business days, I opened my items and it LOOKS exactly like the picture, my set fit me like a glove and the color was spot on it doesn't feel like cheap material at all. I spend $25.50 and the original prices was $52.50. I'm satisfied with my items I will be ordering again. For those of you who are having trouble please beware that in the confirmation email the sizes convert to U. K. but you will receive your correct US size. You have to be patient with this site if your shopping for an special occasion try to order in advance maybe a month or 3 weeks so your not stuck waiting for your items, my order came fast. Be careful at what material you order as well, stay away from cheap material that may arrive see through you have to be smart when ordering from them. But I will be ordering again I'm not sure why orders have issues, patience is key order in advance and be smart. Love my co ord set looks very expensive.
