The online shopping experience was great! I got 15% off when i finished looking at my clothes and was excited to recieve my order! The site told me it was giong to be there on the 7th of may and i had order it on the 1st of may, i didnt recieve the package till the 16th of may and when i did receive it the tops where absolutley horrible! On the models they look like they were an acctual material but they are some thin $#*!ty material and even with a top underneath them it still looks CRAP! I will never buy shirts off boohoo AGAIN! I got some pants though and leggings and they are absolutley brilliant! I love them and were them everywehre :)
The only annoying thing is the sizing isn't consistent I got 2 size 10 dresses and they were completely different.
Bought a dress that is of poor quality, returns policy is ridiculous
Can't speak to anyone with queries. Bad service
I can't even get a delivery date for the package... I already see where this is going. No updates available
Ordered pants and they were crap. You pay for the return ship AND no refund of first shipping cost :(
Ordered 3 weeks ago for 150 euro and still received nothing. Also this site has a bad service and no help from Customer service.
Do not order here!
My overall experience is a 6/10. I liked most of the clothes I have ordered, I enjoy the fact that they carry clothes for plus women, and they do have a lot of 30%-50% off sales. My orders have always come in a timely manner.
A few of the problems I see with Boohoo is that SOME of their products are pretty terrible quality wise. Plus jackets with tiny arms, dresses that are too short and won't cover your damn hooch, and some of the fabric is AWFUL (thin, cheap feeling, etc)! Another problem is their RETURN POLICY! How they love to take money, but can't saddle up for their customers when they've done something wrong. Only 14 days (I believe) to return something when it could take up to a month to even get back to them!? I've bought tons of clothes from them and I am in the process of returning just 3 things back because of 1) Quality and 2) Size. I paid $15 to send these parcels back. I BETTER AT THE VERY LEAST GET AN EXCHANGE! SOMETHING! Also, they CAN'T CANCEL ORDERS! Even if you placed it an hour ago, or used the wrong form of payment. I don't see the problem. Other online retailers usually can!
I think Boohoo has a lot of potential, but not before they start thinking more about their customers, and not their own pockets.
I only received $28 refund out of $102 return. They did nothing to help me get $74 they own me. Save yourself the hassle and money. DO NOT BUY FROM BOOHOO. They are DISHONEST.
While looking through the site, I was so excited about the clothing this site had to offer. In it, I was able to find things that I could not find anywhere else, especially at a decent price. I ordered three items I really liked. To my disappointment, on that very same night, minutes within confirmation of my order and deducting money from the bank account, they sent me an email saying that they cancelled my order without any explanation. No one from customer services even cared to send me an automatic email or call me explaining why it was cancelled. I shot them an email now only concerned about getting my money back, since I do not care to order from this site anymore. They said they would reply within 48 hours, which they never did. No money was refunded into my bank account. I went on their Twitter page which served as another service platform, and in the bio they said that they work "24 hours a day/7 days a week" yet they did not reply on time, especially with the severity of my situation. I was about to send them another email complaining about their customer service, until someone finally sent me an email with the vaguest response, saying that the order "has failed their security checks" and that my money has been refunded. Another person on Twitter asked them about why their own order was automatically cancelled, in which customer service replied it was because it "failed security check" but when asked to expand, they said that they could not. Absolutely pathetic! Automatically deducts money, slow responses, and once one gets a response, it is incredibly vague. Some pieces of clothing on the site are those you cannot always find anywhere else, thus I did not give it a one star. However, some reviews complained that the clothing has a cheap quality to it so I do not feel so bad staying away from this site. It is not worth putting money into a site that is deceitful, unclear, and untrustworthy!
I placed an order with Boohoo and Asos the same day. They are both fast fashion retailers based in the UK. I paid for fast shipping from BooHoo-- which said it would take 4 working days to get to me.
Guess which company got me my package first?
Asos took 4 days-- and I didn't even pay for fast shipping. Boohoo, on the other hand, took 2 full weeks.
I no longer needed the items in question by that time & sent them straight back-- which also was on my dime. Asos doesn't charge you to ship your returns back, which is what EVERY online based retailer should offer, since you literally have no other way of returning your items otherwise.
I complained to their customer service department via their website. It took them a week to respond. Their response was basically, "It's out of our hands!" and blamed it on customs.
Again, Asos.com manages to do the exact same thing-- ship to the US from the UK-- without the drama in shipping. So their customs excuse feels like BS to me. Especially since I was given no updates about the whereabouts of my package the entire time it was being shipped.
I basically stated the above in my response to their excuse about customs & they proceeded to respond like a whiny teenager, basically ranting about how Asos.com is an ENTIRELY different company that uses different logistics and services. How this is out of their control, etc...
Basically, Boohoo.com is a joke. I can't speak to the quality of their clothes because I didn't even open the packaging. Whatever the quality, though, it's not worth the trouble.
I do a lot of online purchasing for my job and this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered.
Answer: No... run. Don't walk...
Answer: I wouldn't I had to fight so hard for my refund. It took them about 4 months to acknowledge that they had actually received it
