There was a lot of misunderstanding and confusion regarding my ticket charge. However apart from one person rest all of the associates were very helpful and courteous including Alden, Jackson, Sebastian and Asher.
Only negative thing is they said they will call back and no one did. It was I who had to make contacts with the desk.

I usually never like to write bad reviews. But it would be an injustice if I didn't. Booked my flight online, did not receive an e ticket confirmation. I called them and they said wait 24 hours. I patiently waited and called after 24 hours to find out they did not book it and the reservation was cancelled because of an internal error. Then they proceeded to tell me the flight is full. TOTAL BS... booked it on orbitz without a problem a few minutes later! They should shut down their site and do us all a favor!
My vacation to Montreal was possible at an urgent basis because I had the best arrangements in all areas. I was staying at a friends place; hence the accommodation bit came easy. And for the air tickets this website offered me a cheap deal. Thank you so much.
Its been 5 times that I have used this website to fly to places like Boston, Japan, Moscow, Belgium and Madrid, sometimes for work and sometimes for a personal tour. I havent faced any service issues so far. The tickets were reasonable with occasional discounts and the website performance all good. Thank you.
Book airfare overcharge my tickets by $300 and charged me $450 in agent fees. They have refunded my $300 but I am still trying to get my $450 refunded. It has been 5 months and I am still fighting them. They have hung up on me multiple times and customer care is extremely rude, besides the fact that they can barely speak English. I do not recommend booking through this website. Beware that they will overcharge you.
Still no answer from Dan who said I'd hear from him shortly. That was in February. No response to the fact that just because he says my refund was "processed," it is still not in my account. Only use this site if you want to lose money if the flight is cancelled for any reason. I'm still out over $700.

I have called BookAirfare.com approximately 8 times today and spent 45 minutes on hold on one of those 8 calls. I have left three messages and sent an email with no response. These people are completely unethical and unprofessional. I cannot believe that they're still allowed to operate. They screwed up my name on a reservation, and instead of fixing it for me, they told me that they didn't mess anything up, and I had to deal with it. At first I thought speaking with a supervisor would help the situation, but nope, that really didn't. The supervisor was equally unwilling to help and very nasty. I made a huge mistake booking with them.
I was charged $700 more than the price was quoted to me. These are cheaters and liers. Can someone shut these people down an arrest the employees. Never had such a bad experience. These guys do not deserve any stars.
I booked a flight several months in advance. Two and a half weeks out there was a schedule change (supposedly due to the airlines not the agency). I had to talk with bookairfare over 5 times on the phone with each agent telling me different things. They said they would email me, but they didn't. They said they would call me back, but they didn't. I then had to call the airline just to make sure I had a spot on the flights. I was, but the schedule changes had not gone through... It has been so hard to get in touch and get answers from bookairfare.com and I'm still waiting for my updated tickets less 3 days before I leave for a trip I booked months ago.

When booking a flight online and after entering my credit card information - I got a message with red lettering that the flight wasn't available anymore.
After a second try unsuccessfully, I called them to buy it over the phone but it was for a much higher price. So I booked that same flight with another company. Turns out despite getting the "not available anymore" it had gone trough my credit card. Now I have 2 same flight tickets- not able to get a refund or use it as credit for another flight.

I booked with bookairfare in August 2015. When I checked my bank statement I noticed I had been overcharged by $85.21 CAD and they refuse to return my money. They acknowledged that they did in fact overcharge me this amount but have never refunded me. They ignore all my emails.
It is now 2021. They never got back to me.

Long story short. Booked a flight from JFK to Chicago for $350 through skyscanner.net. They sent me confirmation email and everything looked legit. I had my suspicions though and entered the booking number in the United airlines website and it said the flight was cancelled. I called BookAirfare and they kept telling me my card had declined (it hadn't) and that someone would call me back. They never did and never will. STAY AWAY!
Terrible! After booking airfare received email 2 days later stating part of our reservation was "on hold" and to contact them. Attempted to contact via phone and email multiple times without success, no human ever answered the phone calls and no one ever responded to the multiple emails. Confirmed with the actual airline that bookairfare.com reserved seats and then two days later canceled the reservation. We had no knowledge of the cancellation other than the email saying part of our reservation was "on hold"
I was double charge for the same flight and they refuse to admit it and refund me. I went as far as sending my bank statement with the charges and they ignore it, once one rep even suggest its a mistake on my banks part. I then had to go through my bank to dispute the charges and get my money back. I was going through a family emergency at the time and that was my reason for doing business with them and they knew that am disgusted! I would NEVER! Recommend, save yourself the headache

Received confirmation of reservation after booking online for an international flight and 2 days later, an email indicating that part of my booked itinerary was on hold. My attempt to email bookairfare.com bounced back and after multiple call on their toll free number was told that pricing had increased, 2 fold... yes 2 fold... I canceled of course.
I am assuming that the 2 days delay is designed to allow the traveler to further plan his trip with additional booking making flight cancellation more challenging. Pretty good scheme to force you into buying their scam. By the way, my contact at BookAirfare with a strong indian accent was named "Maverik" with no other ID: this by itself tells it all.
I was attempting to process a ticket purchase through momondo, which redirected me to bookairfare.com. I entered ALL of my personal information into their system, including all of card information. Went to hit process purchase and it would not allow me to authorize it. Usually an error message will pop up explaining the issue but nothing. Attempted several more times to not be allowed to leave webpage. Called 800 customer service number, to sit on automated hold for TWENTY FIVE minutes without speaking to a single person. Was told I could leave a voicemail to receive a call back from a rep but when I pressed the correct dial to be redirected, the automated crappy music recording just continued and I could not leave one. Don't think I will be using their services again.

I have written to this company and 'Kim' so many times I have lost count. My flight was changed by WestJet and I was asked for agreement or not to the change. I did not agree and requested a change in mid December. It is now mid January and I have not received confirmation of the change. Kim does not respond to me emails and the folks at the call centre can't help.
This service is totally unacceptable and I do not see the company trying to improve on the negative comments received in the past. I will never go through them again.
Horrible experience. This isn't a scam review or a fluff comment. They called 5 times the day before flight to notify me my booking has changed to 12 hrs later (a red eye), and to end up on my original flight... the one I booked, I had to complain for 2-3 hrs and ended up traveling with my spouse in middle seats for 8 hrs apart from each other. Just forget this site and go with the airlines directly. Horrible... just horrible. 8 hrs of horribleness...

I booked my flight through BookAirfare because of their low prices. I received my confirmation email 24 hours later with a reservation code. I then called the airline directly to confirm since I read so many bad reviews about this company. The airline informs me that my reservation has been canceled and it doesn't exist anymore! I call Bookairefare and was put on hold and argued for over an hour. I finally find out after the most frustrating call of my life that my reservation has a different number. Wasted so much time on this over a stupid mistake. I admit they have great prices, but make sure you follow up and confirm with the airline after you book!

I booked a super cheap ticket to Ecuador through this site, which was amazing! I was so excited to go that I took a picture of the online confirmation and sent it to all my friends. The confirmation then told me I would receive an email within 48 hours. I never did. I called them and was on hold for over an hour. When I finally talked to someone he kept asking for my confirmation number, which pissed me off because I hadn't recieved one and that's why I was calling. Thankfully, I had taken the picture of my flight number and it had a PNR number (if I hasn't done this I would be out $400). He then retook my email and said he sent the confirmation. It never came, so I repeated all the above steps. This time, when trying to tell the man on the phone how frustrating this was, he yelled at me and said how could we have charged you if you didn't recieved a confrontation. I said, I don't know, that's why I'm calling you! He belittled me and yelled at me and constantly talked over me, and when I tried to give him the PNR number, even extremely slowly, he couldn't get it right. He yelled at me and said, mam could you just do this in phonetics. I then asked if I could give him a second email this time to make sure I got the tickets, once again was yelled at and told that was not the problem. I do finally have the tickets in my possession, after being yelled at and put on hold for hours. I work in customer service and would never have treated someone the way I was just treated on the phone. 5 stars for price, 1 for customer service.
