I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!

I've been a customer for 5 years I went in I'm eligible for a free upgrade the store rank of marijuana the guy that was helping us was okay the woman that came and took over told us different prices different stories there was glitches in the computer her boss was out of town yada yada what should have cost us $260 cost us $381 I told her I did not want the insurance she charged me for insurance anyways after telling me that she didn't she changed my $35 plan to a $50 plan this is the same store that was selling TracFone numbers to people to get them to switch and get a free phone

Boostmobile kept sending me text messages to get my free 5G card for my phone. So after several messages I decided to get the free SIM card. Seeing how the network was being upgraded. It was mentioned that to get the best service I would have to get the card. What I wasn't told till after getting the card and calling Boost to activate the new card was that they would increase my monthly bill. BEWARE of BOOSTMOBILE and it deceptive practices. They refused to put me back on my old plan.
I paid my monthly payment and 2days later I had no data and it was unlimited I called the office in Troy Mo. And they did nothing for me so I called customer service and that sucked so boost you freaking suck $#*!s my husband has been with the company for over 20 years and this month has been the worst ever for him I've only been with them for 2 months we are looking for another company has am texting so GOOD BYE boost.
And no im definitely not switching to metro. I like the sprint network. You guys suck. I have to push an accept cookies button all the $#*!in time. Its ridiculous
I initially was drawn to boost mobile thinking it was the same as the service from the days Sprint offered it. The price was reasonable. Process was smooth getting the phone. When I received my device I still had my AT&T phone. When I received my first phone call at while at my home the service was pretty bad. I had to walk outside to take business calls. I reached out to boost they stated "the tower in your area is down and there is no ETA on when it will be back up." I was still in my 30 day window so I called to return the phone. The representative stated I could switch to the AT&T network. That was a lie. She was only attempting to get me to keep the phone a few more days so that I would not be able to return the phone. Also, if you go over on data you will not be able to do simple things on the internet like pick up your target order. My internet speed was 470 KBPS. Also to out the icing on the cake after returning the phones. Boost charged my account $1700 after confirming they recieved the devices back and also refunding my money from activation. This company sucks. Dont try going into a local location. Its like a hood gas station cell phone provider. They should quit and sell phone cases and chargers.
I've been with Boost for about 6 years. Everything was great until about 4 months ago calls started dropping. About the time Dish took them over. I chalked it up to the big 5G switch, so I upgraded to a 5G phone. This was fine for a while. Still occasional dropped call, but no biggie. Then 3 weeks ago both my husband and I were both getting "network unavailable for voice calls" when we'd try to make a call. Incoming calls were not coming through, and neither were texts. Basically our phones were worthless more than they were functional. To make a long story short my husband spend 4 hours over 3 days trying to get them to unlock his phone. He gave up on that and spent another 2 days trying to get them to release his number which he had before he had Boost. He kept getting the run around so he decided to cancel and get a new number with a new carrier. I stuck it out longer because I just bought a new phone and they won't unlock it until I've had it a year. After a lengthy online chat they told me they would be sending updates to my phone and I'd be reimbursed for the time I couldn't use my phone. Neither of these things happened, so I'm cutting my losses and going elsewhere.

Didn't offer opportunity to port over new number. Prompted to call customer service who answers in a foreign country and they don't fully comprehend what you explain to them. And it's difficult to understand them also as they go in circles trying to understand what your trying to accomplish. To just end up being to go into a boost mobile store. At Boost moble store they want to charge you for their help and when they can't they tell you to call customer service, it's one big run around. Called customer service again this time pressed for Spanish and the customer rep who answers in Mexico spoke English well. He explains I can't port over my old number to the new Sim card because Boost mobile activated already with a new number assigned with out my knowledge. I was instructed I now have to cancel that Sim card with account and request new Sim card. I get transferred to cancelation department who of course states they can't cancel the Sim nor the account cause it's too new I'd have to wait for billing cycle. I refuse to accept No for an answer the customer service representative then states system is down and can't do it on his end.
And there is no speaking to a manager ever.
They have an excuse for everything this is worse cell phone service personal.
Too much of my time spent on this not worth the hassle. I had place the sim card from my previous cell carrier and reinstated my service. I'd much rather pay more elsewhere where than deal with this headache of a phone company.

They cut my service off earlier than it was supposed to be and the agents as well as the supervisor gave me the tun around instead of helping me with the inconvenience they've caused.
First, my phone was SUSPENDED without reason. Then I pay to have it RESTORED. No service. Then I buy a new phone, cancelled the order and still got charged for the phone that I cant seem to cancel or that I've not gotten either. I've tried to cancel over the last 3 days to get my refund no luck. I cant seem to get a live person to cancel this phone order no matter how many times I've called. Ive called about 6 different numbers and it feels like calling in circles. All the numbers lead nowhere. I've called over and over no luck for the last 3 days. I have been a customer with Boost for over 2 years now. I paid my bill as I usually do, two months in advance. So, on March 20,2023, I paid the remainder of my March bill and I then turned around and paid my April bill in advance. Now it is April 21,2023, and my phone is still off! I have been on the phone with Boost's lack of customer service. Giving the run-around. Now, they converted my account, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to another network. I was given promised that my phone will be fully restored by 12 noon yesterday, which will make it today April 21,2023, at 12 noon. Here it is 2:41 pm EST, and my phone is still off. Yesterday, I was credited $15.00 for my inconvenience, but When I call the customer service number the automated system says that I owe $43.00 to get my account restored. So, what they credited me for my inconvenience was taken from me and applied to a phone bill that I do not own until it is time to pay my phone bill for the month of May and June 2023. I have bank statements that say otherwise! I paid my bill for both March and April in the total amount of $120. So, as I was promised, my phone should full be restored. I got back on the phone with boost mobile again, and now being told that I now have to wait 72 hours and pay $43.00 which I do not own on their new network that I did not authorize for them to transfer my account to... At this point, they need to credit my account for every day that my phone has been off and will be off.in the full amount of my phone bill..

Plan was Unlimited Talk Text, Data and 30 GB of Hotspot for each cell phone. We have 3 phones on our plan never had a problem until Sprint left Boost Mobile and went to T mobile.
I noticed shortly after that, when Dish merged with Boost Mobile! Shortly after that during pandemic
We starting having issues with our Data and connectivity on our cell phones, which before that I never ran out of data or Hot Spot. Our Phone started saying we used up our Hot Spot and our Data a week before I was suppose to pay my bill! So
My phone is hardly Working! Terrible! But now It says I used up all my Data and Hot Spot 2 weeks before my bill is do to be paid again! Yes, a rip-off.

I have been a customer with boost mobile for at least 6 years, trying to keep giving their services another try each time an issue arises. I've finally hit my limit today, when trying to restart my plan month (I do this early every month because unlimited data really means enough high speed data for about 20ish days then you have data that never loads, it's so slow you may as well be out) I have to do so by speaking with an agent EVERY SINGLE TIME. This takes about an hour and 15 minutes each time, over 5 or 6 years how much time do you think that adds up to, too much, too much time. This last time I spoke to them I expressed my concern about this issue, and asked the representative to please restart my plan month. He did not do so, he added funds to my account, which I specifically asked him not to do. Consequently after the hour speaking to him I had to restart this process all over with a new agent, who stated he showed no record of me even speaking to any other agent that day. So add another hour to my list of wasted time just trying to restart my plan month. I will be finding other coverage after this plan month, when I asked for a link to leave a review for their services I was told they don't have one. Sketchy services, wasted time, and spotty coverage.

First of all, they said they have internet. Nope their internet is unaccessible most of the area in SF Bay area. Moreover they kept charging you for data fee which is 26.99 in addition to your original phone data plan.I always put my phone on airplane mode since I used the other data plan at the same time while I have boost sim card with me. Their speed is almost zero. Everything is loading. Therefore I bought the other SIM card. Although so,they charged you for extra data fees. When you cancel,make sure call them again and make sure that you cancel verbally spoken. You can't just cancel on the app. They will still keep charging you to your card. It happened to me. And they do not write out,the service termination letter to you. So, when you claim to get your money back from bank, the bank also not working. It made me so mad. I called them to end the service which I do not used it anymore,but they keep charging me for another 54 for 2 months. A scammer. Stay the hell out of this company. If I got wifi and full speed internet for that 54. I won't complain. They have zero wifi and everything else is the worst and you have to pay them 54$. Worst of all among all phone services.

Horrible. This company used to be good years ago. When I was unemployed during Covid, I got their "free" internet for several months, and they did not follow government guidelines at all. I was supposed to have 10 GB (others were supposed to have 35 GB), and the agreement said after the data runs out, then it should run slowly but not entirely turn off. I used no streaming whatsoever. Just basic typing and web access for email intentionally to not use much data. Turned off all background running services, updates, kept only one or two tabs open at a time, etc. But it always ran out after about 10 days when I had used up about 3 Gig according to their status web site, and then they just shut it off. No internet access whatsoever. No other company does this. The device they gave me was a Linkzone2 hot spot, and that was always having trouble too. Do not use them. They don't honor the government contract of what they are supposed to provide even though they're getting paid to, and their customer service is useless. How are they even still in business with these consistently horrible ratings?

I am thoroughly appalled, and I'm every bit of annoyed, unpleased, and overall frankly I'm disgusted! No words could even express the amount of unpleased I am, except maybe a few vulgarities. Boost has dedicated it's time to wasting mine, and isn't something I would even recommend to a bum on the street! They have lost a great customer today, I paid every bill on time, and never asked for an extension. I hate this company, and always will. My phone recently broke, and my "insurance" sent me this ugly "cricket wireless" looking phone, seriously though, if I had food stamps... I'd be able to get a better phone... For free, I'm not in any way trying to come off as "ignorant" "intitled" or "ungrateful" but I'm just sick to my stomach. I don't even give half of a pretend care, if it WAS the newest version of the phone I had! It's still ugly, and I'd literally rather go amish for a week than to use that hideous great value, dhgate, chapter 13 bankrupt looking phone! Ever!
I set up auto pay to make it easier. For the length of my time with them they turned my phone off stating autopay didnt work so I would call and make the payment. Them they would take the $50 out anyhow charging me $100. I would have to call and wait for someone to amswer who barely understood english. Asked me to repeat my adress city and state like 15 times. Then this latest time they took 100 out, overdrafted my bank $14 and I got charged a $35 overdraft fee, 100% becasue of them. It should be them paying it and they refuse. I cancelled my service and they refused to refund me the 50 for 1 day of service. Save time and money and frustration. Stick with Cricket
