I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
My cellular service is absolutely awful! Constantly on 2 bars even though I live in the city, calls fail constantly, customer service is terrible and not helpful. I have to wait until March 2021 to have the unlock my phone so I can switch to a different provider even though I own my phone. I paid for my phone flat out, I have an iPhone XR. As soon as my year is up with them I am immediately cancelling their service! Do NOT get your service through Boost Mobile!

When the switch to 5 G was forced upon us I got my new phone and expected better service. I did not get better service, I got worse service. Not only did I get worse service, they charged me five dollars a month more for worse service. Now that I want to change companies, they will not give me my account number so I can keep my phone number. I cannot get my account number on line. I cannot get my account number at a store. They will not give me my account number on the phone. These people are horrible. I will change companies anyway, even if I have to get a new phone number.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away! They did an update on our phones and my mother received all of our texts not just hers. When we called they said they couldn't fix it and we should just change phone #'s. Ridiculous! I ended up fixing it on my own. We left them and went to Mint. It took me FOUR phone calls to get them to unlock my husband's i phone and we're STILL waiting to see if it will really get done. You wait 30+ minutes to speak with someone on the phone and it's nothing more than some foreign person probably in another country reading phone tracks and that's the extent of any service you will get. I'm on hold now waiting for an hour to speak to a supervisor. Ridiculous!

Customer service is overseas and you can't get past the accent to do any troubleshooting. Their stores can't do anything but activate new phones. If they don't know how to help, they read a script and "accidentally" disconnect the call. And you can't buy a phone card at a Boost store (and they charge you to put the code in for you). STAY AWAY!
I have been a BOOST customer for 20+ years. The last 2 months there has been an issue attaching a new Debit card to my autopay. I spent 45 minutes on 3 different calls last month until I finally spoke with a young man that could assist me. Everyone kept telling me it was card that had the problem, well I'm having the same issue again this month. I went into a store to see if they could assist me, unfortunately they had the same issue, they called their CS number and got the same answers. Even spoke with a so called manager (pretty sure it was the same person we were already speaking to) they basically told us there's nothing they can do that I need to call back a day before my due date to add a new card. So I paid at the store where I was charged an additional $4 fee. I will be calling a day before my due date but not to add a new card. Will be shopping around for better service prior to that call.
Don't ever use Boost Mobile. My wife had problems with her phone, do you know what the caller did? Hung up on us! So we ask for a manager or supervisor multiple times, he hung up on us! Do NOT ever use this phone service EVER!

Was a Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go account. Once acquired by Boost, I've experienced nothing but incompetent, callous, and ineffective customer service. A) broke their promise that I could use my account balance for ongoing payments b) could no longer check voice mail using my landline c) suddenly cannot connect to cell network - call multiple times & waste multiple hours on hold, getting disconnected, being told to call the phone maker (who is not responsible for cell connections), and getting no resolution d) finally promised that I can use my balance to buy a new phone, since Boost is suddenly expiring my balance in 2 months e) Sales 855 number refuses to honor Customer Service's promise. Overall terrible experience with a company who lies, hangs up, and does not care.

This phone is sh**. It keeps deleting apps without permission, with or without the updates. There is a little gremlin inside and he does whatever he wants! I absolutely would not buy this phone EVER AGAIN!
Call BoostOne care services 611 to make a payment and can't get through because they are having internal system problems... Tried to make the payment online and again the same problem... BoostOne claims your service will not be interrupted due to their system problems and they are working hard to fix it... I'm not happy with BoostOne from the day Boost Mobile allowed them to take over... I'm so very disappointed with this phone carrier...
I bought a phone for my child and bought the unlimited service and received a limited amount of service and I went up to the store to have it fixed and they refuse to believe what the receipt said and what I paid for and argued with me and would not give me unlimited service but a cheaper service after paying for it
My mother's service was cut the next day after she had just payed her boost mobile phone. Their excuse was that they needed their supervisors permission to put the service back on even if inn their system the system tells them she had payed her boost bill. Then my mother was told they couldn't find her money. Now that's Confusing right. And instead of investigating their system and their failures as a business they investigate my mother. And refuse to refund her money from their terrible service I recommend that you should never do business with Boost mobile it's woke and their system fails and bad customer service. They have you waiting for a half hour or more. When it comes to you needing their help it sucks don't get into boost. Mobile.If any problems their supervisors is out doing something. And barely there for most problems. You need to talk to them about. They give you the run around.
I've spent several hours over the course of half a year at this point trying to get a refund. Long story short, called to terminate the service, was promised a refund, called back to follow up a month later and was told it's still processing, still nothing after half a year of waiting. Ended up filing a BBB complaint only to have their agent plainly say that they're not refunding me because while the request to cancel happened before the end of the billing cycle, porting the numbers happened after the end of the billing cycle. The agreement clearly states that either request for cancellation *or* porting is sufficient.

At least when Cricket Mobile pulled the same thing on me, they made me whole after getting a BBB complaint. These guys seem to prefer wasting lawyer money. Get literally any other plan, there are plenty of budget phone plans out there. They all treat you like garbage, but most of them don't go out of their way in order to do that.

I have contacted many agents over the past couple months because I switched from $35 basic to $55 unlimited. After I switched my service had gotten more poor and poor. They troubleshooted my device so many times that they wanted to wipe my phone clean next. I refused this because I know as a tech person that is not going to solve a network issue. I contacted an agent to return my phone. They told me that I could do so this one time since it was over the 7 day satisfaction limit. Then I contacted someone today to finally return my phone and they said I was given false information and they could not help me no further. I am tired of this company and I am a very long term customer. Never recommending or using their services again.

Paid $300 in phone service over the course of months. Calls dropped 24/7, internet would not load, texts would fail This is at the TOP price you can pay for their service ($60/month). Was on the phone for 5+ hours and talked to around 20 reps. They told me my service is fine while the phone service proceeded to drop over a dozen calls mid way through the call. They then said "our policy does not allow refunds" AKA we have a policy that says robbing people is fine with us "sorry." I am actually not paying my phone bill tomorrow after being with them for 6+ years. This is by far the worst phone service you can get and the customer service DOES NOT CARE if your phone works. So I had a boost, mobile phone and galaxy a 21 to be exact they sent me a Sim card I paid for the Sim card won't work in my phone because they gave me a *******. I need a ******* and they don't understand that because it's an older phone before they switched. They've given me the runaround they've sent me through the same Sim cards or something like that it won't they go by color not even my number because they're too stupid to figure it out. I've talked to like several different people on the phone and now they've locked my phone which was unlocked when this all started and now it's set up for predetermination because they don't know what they're doing and they're totally screwing it up and on my phone won't be able to work anymore and they won't fix it because they said they didn't do it even though they didn't tell me a phone dammit Sim card and I'm like seven days in my month that I paid for and I've got no service still

Switch to boost infinite to save money... When I tried to activate my SIM card I ended up going days without a phone... Then after having my phone for one two days it gets stolen so I call them to turn it off... It's been almost 3 weeks The phone is still on the person who stole it is still using it and now they've tried to charge me 12 or 12 times for the bill... I've gone on their live chat numerous times everyday and they weren't they won't stop charging me they won't take my card off the account and they still won't shut off the phone.

The only reason I gave boost one star is because that's the lowest option. More like negative 5 Stars. I have been with boost for years. They used to be ok. But now, service is terrible, data is slow, messages sometimes don't get delivered in real time, customer service experience is the worst and the most frustrating task to complete with unsatisfactory results. Their on hold music makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a dull stick. The new boost one app is terrible, it's like an app for a child. There is nothing you can do except click shiny buttons. The app does not give you any real control of the account. You don't even have the choice to use auto pay. It's automatic. If you pay with a different card, they automatically assign that as the default autopay for the next month. I could go on and on. Basically it's a crap show. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Oh, did I say terrible?
Was a customer for years. Cell phone service drops out frequently and gets kicked off the network- needs to be restarted. Cancelled my prepaid service 4 days after paying for the month. Customer service told me I couldn't have a refund. I'm no lawyer but that sounds like theft to me. They no you won't start a lawsuit over $39 dollars so they just keep it. I damaged my phone and I am paying for service and insurance monthly. However I am unable to file a claim. They cant find me in the system yet they can find me for my monthly payments. I've been a Boost Mobile Customer for more than 10 years. Overall, the customer support is very good and the representatives in the stores are very helpful and accommodating. However the sales representative in the Fayetteville, NC at the Sycamore Dairy Road location is not customer friendly and very rude. Hopefully someone will be able to assist him in learning the value of customers who support Boost Mobile and the value of being more customer friendly. Inevitably, the store needs customers customers. It is easier to keep a customer than to get a new one!
This company ducks. The customer service is lousy. The service is half as good. On 3 occasions I needed a replacement phone. On 4 occasions it took two weeks to get the right phone and sim card. Customer service is outsourced to a foregin land with non English speaking reps. Reaching anyone with donkey sense is a challenge. I suggest Mint mobile. Their cheaper and with no expectations you won't be disappointed
Ive been with boost over 10 years. Honestly since the switch the website is terrible.
I can't change my plan anymore, the website barely even works. The service now is just terrible. I never thought that I would switch to another company because I never really had an issue, but now I am definitely looking at my options.
