I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
This is the worst phone company every. Its not easy activating a new phone with them and if anything goes wrong you have to keep buying new SIM cards. I will never waist my time or energy on this company anymore.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away

First things first… I have been with Boost for at least 10 years!…there is no reason why Boost customer service reps pick up their phones to tell you that you have to be transferred to another person and you have to wait over 20 minutes sometimes 30 minutes for someone to pick up your call! My Goodness! Boost has been around too long for this kind of BS! Level Up Already! Make it worse the person who picks up accent is so strong you can't understand a word they say so you spend a huge amount of time saying " huh" I don't understand what you're saying can you repeat that?" Boost tries everything to keep your info hostage so you won't have an easy time to transfer your line elsewhere! I'm am so over Boost right now! And I do NOT recommend them at all! They are the worse now more than ever! Don't do it!
Tip for consumers:
Beware of Boost Mobile.

Ordered sims online. 16 calls later, phones are still Not Activated! Customer Service Sucks, can't speak English, if they can't fix it they say system is updating. They blame sims, phone everything but their own inability to perform simple troubleshooting.
Virgin Mobile sold to Boost. I should have over $150 and service until December 2020. Instead 2 days ago, Boost brought it all down to 0 money and 0 time. Called them. Paul, a supervisor, promised to rectify matter in 24 hours. That was yesterday. Speaking today to Stacy. Took her 30 minutes on hold to finally explain to me that Boost has unilaterally changed the contract that they bought from Virgin and decided that I have to give them more money in order to get service even though my contract should extend to December and there is $150 in my account. Shame on you Sir Charles Branson for selling us out. You got the money and we were duped!
I had an acp hot spot box through boost. It stopped working and I was told government stop paying for box. I paid $60.19 for service not working and they want to drive 87 miles to get money back for service that don't work.

The customer service for this company is terrifying, like you would think they were purposely being terrible and rude. You can barely get service anywhere in North Carolina and still get charged full price even though you barely can use your phone. They have secret loop holes that won't allow you to switch company's even though your purchase whichever phone in full cash. I've been lied to by the call center workers numerous times. Even the managers at the call centers are terrible. You would think this company would be sued and shut down by now because how terrible they are. I have to wait 12 months in order to get away from this prison camps phone company, I have 5 more months to go. Prayers are appreciated.

Boost Mobile sucks, the customer service communication is terrible, they do not genuinely try to help or make anything right. Always just a "Give it a little bit more time". No matter how much you pay or if you do expedite an order it won't do any justice. You'll wait at least 5 days, as you would if you ask for a refund.
Purchases $200 sim on 5th Nov 2020 and to date 20/11 can not activate sim. Customer service is via chat and I have now "chatted" to 3 agents. All of which stated the same thing. Went through a lengthy verification process and then long waits until they say yes all activated. Still NOT activated. Either they are incompetent or simply will not activate for some unknown reason. Maybe as I have already paid for the sim upfront there is no obligation to connect as that would mean they would actually need to provide a service.
I have had nothing but trouble every month with boost mobile. Terrible company that only has employees from India apparently. They can't ever handle any simple requests I have and are only there to get as much money as possible. Complete $#*! company

Boost Mobile is a joke... my phone didn't work right for over a week and a half. Called several times over that time period and kept getting hung up on or they would promise call backs and never called back. All I asked was for a little compensation for my phone not working correctly and the horrible customer service (which I don't think is too much to ask) they pretty much told me they didn't care about either issue and to just deal with it. I never had these issues with Virgin Mobile before Boost took over!.
And... they definitely have not heard the last from me.
Ordered service and a phone over a month ago. Received the phone and have now talked to over 20 different people about the fact that it does not work. Every one of them has promised they fixed the problem and my service will work within 48 hours. You can not get service in store if you order online unless you want to pay twice as much. At this point, I have a $1,000 iphone paper weight and am still paying my verizon service on my old phone. This company is awful.

On Sunday 5/23/21, I went to Boost Mobile on Division. I had to get a new phone. Mandy K. Was who helped me. Not only did she give exceptional customer service, she did it while enduring the high pitched screaming my son was doing the entire time I was there. I was very happy with the whole transaction! I will be staying with boost because of the outstanding customer service I received! Thanks Mandy!

Ive been a boost customer for over 10 years. I'm trying to help anyone who may be considering a new cell service. After dish/T-Mobile took over boost, it has gone right off a cliff. Large areas of "no cell service", including in large cities and/or major roadways. And, no one has any answers whether you try to contact boost customer service by phone (which you can't get anyone), or you try and go face to face at a boost location, no one has answers. They will talk to you about buying new phones with "expanded coverage", but the service only further depreciated. They sold a lot of phones that way. I'm just trying to help. I would not recommend Boost any more. It once was a great cell phone company.
Tip for consumers:
That after the buyout there would be no answers to pertinent questions about boost service.

They suck all the way around, Your service don't work half the time, I have unlimited internet but still have to connect to my Wi-Fi in order to get on apps. Also they do not do payment extensions as where if you go to Metro pcs they give those kind of things, in other words run and run fast cause their service suck.
Also you can never get anyone that speak proper English very frustrating.
I've been a customer of boost for over 5 years with no complaints but in the last two months everything has changed on my plan. I can't use my reboost cards anymore, I have to go in and pay or call boost to pay my bill costing $4 extra, after turning my phone back on it took a whole day for my data to kick in and when I went back to the store to ask what was wrong I was treated like an annoyance. I'm switching phone carriers next month to say the least. I'm very displeased with the company and their new policies.
I used up the data on my thirty five dollar plan. I was told I could pay ten dollars for an extra two g worth of data. I payed, it didn't even last two days just checking my emails. That is not the point, the issue is when I tried to renew my subscription I was told I had been placed automatically on a forty five dollar monthly plan. Just from buying an extra 2 gig! If that is not dishonest and underhand what else can it be called? I have found them very sneaky with information and I wonder why they are allowed to treat customers with this type of less than fair behavior
I dont even know where to begin... Cant make calls without wifi... Spoke to 2 people bout getting new sims cards a month ago... Still nothing... Over charged me for like 4 mths for a family plan... Wont unlock my phones so i can switch... I paid $402 out the door for 4 phones and service and the service is $#*!ty... Like come on people get ur $#*! together!
They seem really slow so I tried to give them business. BIG mistake. I ordered some new cases for my phone, but they are garbage! They barely come up over the sides of the phone. No lip. Little, IF ANY real protection for the glass. The manager refused to return them, even though I was still in the store. She said they don't do refunds on accessories. She should have warned me to begin with, that their cases are cheap garbage! If they don't protect, what good are they? You can see in the picture that the case would not protect the glass. Hope they go out of business so others aren't screwed like I was.
My recommendation: go somewhere else!

I've been with Boost for about 12 years, and it was the best thing going. Great service, great price, affordable phones. Now with the company takeover, I can't login to my account, my service keeps roaming everywhere I go now. I was looking at new phones, and anything that can accommodate my needs is now over 500 bucks. And calling customer service is a joke. They say they'll help, and tell you everything is good, but it's not. I haven't been able to get in my account for more than 6 months. I used to love this service and recommend it to all my friends and family, but not anymore. I'm shopping for a new service.

Talked to 4 agents who treated me like complete shot and basically called me stupid! 4 rude agents. Seriously get your shot together. How are u ok mistreating paying customers!? We will be looking for a new carrier
On hold for 1 1/2 hour. They took over sprint. Boost is owed by dish network. That explains the horrible customer service. As of March 2022 service is almost nonexistent. They claim they use AT&T network. I have one AT&T cell. Works no problem. Three boost, they don't work where I live. Customer service told you need a new phone. So $300 later still no service. Would not refund or unlock the phone. So I have a Samsung A71 useless phone. I did manage to get a $10 credit. I have three business cells with them. Two cell phones at home. So they lost 5 phones. Switched to AT&T. You would think they would take back the cell phone. Only lose two accounts. Nope would rather lose five accounts. Bad business. The A71 phone is a very nice phone.

My hotspot data was close to running out and I needed it so I bought an extra five gigabytes or at least I thought I did, but when it didn't come on and I talked to customer service they said that it's only applicable to high speed data, despite the fact that their website says that's the five gigabytes can be applied to either high speed data or hotspot. After that lie, the customer service supervisor said I should upgrade to the $60 plan which has 30 GB of hotspot. And so I did. What did I receive for the extra money that I paid? Absolutely nothing. They never could get the hotspot on and though I was promised a refund, when I went to check its status no such thing had been applied for.
I've been a longtime Boost customer & I'm truly unhappy with the lack of data they provide with my service. I guess it's time to move on. I've been a good paying customer for 13 yrs, but find my internet lags and every month I'm told I've used all my data when I'm mostly using my cable wifi at home. Boost should take better care of the people who keep them in business!

Recently I went to Mexico and used their add on plans for Mexico Plus to have service and data I got the 8gb which did fine but after the monthly payment which I still paid for the add on it completely stopped my service entirely besides calls & texts. 1st off contacting their customer service takes forever 2nd I had to get someone to call in the USA to contact their Support since it would tell call # not recognize and 3 they Made my sister wait almost 45 minutes for them to absolutely solve nothing. They told her that they would fix it asap but guess what that was a total lie. So yeah boost you lost a customer and I will absolutely not recommend this to anyone. As soon as I hear boost mobile it's all cons from me!
