I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
Although agents try to be courteous, they are limited in their ability to problem solve. Most know English words and read English statements given them as replies but rarely is someone fluent and knowledgeable enough to understand an unusual question. Therefore, customer service is a series of canned answers. After ten years, I've had enough! Going to U.S. provider today.
Very frustrating. On hold for ever. Just switched to Google fi. I called them twice before switching asking questions. Spoke to someone in less than a minute both times. They were helpful. Porting my numbers only took 5 minutes. I highly recommend Google Fi.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from boost

Google Fi - Best customer service I have gotten from a mobile phone service provider I have had in years.
This company, and its independent stores, all are the worst you'll find, they try grab as much money from you, so you stay with them. Even a cheap monthly, excuse me, yearly plan, isn't any good if it isn't working, most local stores offer crappy service, are open when they decide to come there. Again never, ever fool with this company, even carriers that are smaller offer better service. Also they're coverage, way overrated.
Tip for consumers:
Put this horrible cell phone company out business, even dish, cant save it.

So, on February 23,2023 Boost Mobile's Customer Service Telephony crashed. Customers were not notified of this problem. The way customers did find out was when they tried to access 611, or the Boost Customer Service numbers. Boost gave a typical bland Corporate apology and rhetoric. This did nothing to settle this author's concerns. I chose to cut my loses and go elsewhere. However, I am unable to keep my number because Boost Mobile can not access it's customer's accounts. Which brings this author to the security concerns. If, Boost Mobile is having this much difficulty with this platform, then what about the personal and/or sensitive information. I, for one do not feel secure with Boost Mobile. Today is March 4,2023 and the problem still exists,
Boost Mobile suspended my account without warning on Tuesday, I spent the better part of the day trying to figure out who to talk to and trying to understand what they were saying, they tell me to email someone else, basically saying they can't help me in any way shape or form, and when I finally get an explanation of excessive data usage on Sunday evening! Excessive data usage on a plan I pay for! How does that make sense? I do not recommend this piss poor service to anyone at all!
We constantly have issues with our service, whether it be bad connection or data consumption. When trying to figure out what the problem is they rush to be done with us and often times treat us as if we know nothing. Their store representatives are often ignorant of anything that has to do with phone service and will stick you on the phone with another rep because they know absolutely nothing. Boost really is a terrible phone company. The only reason it has any business is because it's cheap. I suppose you get what you pay for but at this rate pay extra and go elsewhere. They really are pathetic.
Where do I begin? I've wasted 3 days working with employees who have been saddled with an inadequate system. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with people moving me from one department to another without addressing or fixing the problem. They have charged my account for two months when I have just begun...no one can answer that question or fix it! The last stop was with their technical department which left me with a phone that could not even make phone calls after they worked on my phone remotely! If you want to save money make sure the company has stores in your city and not just mailing you a SIM card.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use Boost Mobile....you'll be sorry!

They sent me a SIM card that never worked properly. They are owned by a reputable company Dish TV but they are reorganizing which is according to employees creating a lot of confusion amongst the Legacy Customers and the "Transform" organization. Their service and sales agents on the phone I believe are from South America and or Mexico. And in general I love working with peoples from all over the world. However, when they are trying to convey instructions and understand concerns it is a major issue.
I'm currently on day 12 of trying to get my phone on. I was supposed to receive a great phone, cheaper bill, etc. When switching to boost. And bringing my number. Like most carriers advertise. I did this online. Because the ad was on FB
I paid my month up front and fees. And was told my phone would arrive in about a day. They had me give them my number and account number from other provider. Which of course ended my service with that company.
It took 5-6 days to receive a much cheaper phone than promised. And everyday since I received the phone. For 12 days now. It's a different reason it can't be activated.
All while playing various games. Such as Pete and repeat.
They win. They can keep the 100+ dollars. But the part that hurts. That number has been my business phone for well over a decade.
What's the difference between a robot and a customer service representative from some third world country employed by boost Mobile? The person is a lot more rude but the results are always the same, they are not allowed to differentiate from their printed protocol in front of them. They are not allowed to use common sense, logic, reason, or decency, and what's worse is that they will lie. I had two customer service Representatives promise me a refund, when I checked back, there was no such record of that so I ended up paying boost Mobile money that they didn't earn or give any services for. They are liars and thieves and I don't understand how they manage staying in business. Don't get boosted by boost Mobile.
I've been a loyal customer of the same cell service since 2012. Since Dish Wireless purchased my previous carrier in 2020, I've had nothing but problems with this company. I was treated like my long-time business didn't matter. I was forced to purchase a new phone when the merger happened, despite the fact my brand-new phone was compatible. I was forced to pay for sim-card insertion when anyone with two brain cells could perform that task, and then when I was finally fed up with up enough to leave, when I tried to port my number to a new service provider, I had to fight for it and threaten to sue in order to do so. I haven't such terrible experiences with a company in quite some time. They treat their customers like their business with them doesn't matter, and their practices seem incredibly shady. This company caused me so much stress in the past few years that I truly hope they fail as a business. If you can afford better service, don't go anywhere near Boost.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do business with Boost Mobile.

Boost Mobile promises all kinds of things but once you buy their phone they will never ever unlock it so you can use it with any other carrier do not believe the salesman they are horrible and they have no repair or support service unless you want to take it to one of their corporate stores which are far and few between.
Bought a prepaid sim at Walmart. The instructions say to put the sim in, supply some details and off you go... Utter rubbish!
What Boost doesn't actually tell you is that you need a very new phone... anything a few years old and they don't support it! It recommends to check the compatibility list AFTER you find it doesn't work!
Waste of time and money. Definitely avoid this company like the plague...
I spent an hour on the phone today trying to get a refund for a number/account I do not/have never used. They couldn't. He says he knows I could think of other ways to spend the money he wouldn't refund. I wanted to scream.
I was a new customer and within first 30 days lost me as a customer. They overcharged for services, removed money from my bank account without permission. I repeatedly called customer service her mistakes they made fixed and every single time they just went in and charged over and over again until it cost me 200.00 in charges for a 60.00 unlimited data plan. I have all paper documentation, customer service texts and adding it all to my letter to CEO. I will be suggesting they train their staff better to learn what not to do to lose a new customer in first 30 days.
Tip for consumers:
Will never recommend Boost Mobile to anyone.

I signed up 11/10/23. On 11/30/23, I called to cancel and return phone. I was told sternly that I couldn't return because it was over the ten day limit, that I'd be billed for $800.00. I informed customer service that nowhere did ANY one or emails talk about the ten day limit. Then she hung up on me.
I've been billed monthly since, and called my card company and canceled the payments, or ability to charge.
I called back today so they wouldn't send me to collections and was told I couldn't return the phone because I was passed the 30day limit. Had I received proper information, the phone would have been returned immediately. Even though the calls that I made are noted, I'm paying $88.00 for a phone I won't be using! $800! Not $88.!
No! No! No Boost!
Ever since t-mobile took over boost turned into a terrible company. I was with them for 9 years no problem until t mobile took over. I was tired of the service they provided so I wanted to switch companies. I talked to 6 customer service operators and every single one said they had to transfer me to another department because I wanted to change companies. One operator told me it was illegal for him to give me my account number. I do not recommend anyone go with boost mobile. When before t mobile I would've said they were great.
I signed up with Boost back in Oct 23 due to cheap prices. I ported my number in from TextNow. It took two weeks to get my phone activated. I had trouble with the physical sim and had to wait to get an eSIM. I wanted to port out to Verizon in Dec after getting a good job. Before that the service for Boost was horrible. The Boostone app didn't work half the time. The internet went slow after using 30 gb of data or they wanted you to buy more data. If you used all the data the hotspot didn't work. Mind you this was the unlimited plan too. Nothing worked right. Now when I tried to port my number out to Verizon it has been 30 days and I still haven't been able to port out existing number from Boost. On top of that I had to pay a phone bill while they attempted to fix the situation. Now I either have to pay another phone bill for two carriers or lose my number. I am very upset with Boost. I got this number from Boost 15 years ago and now lost it back to Boost! Wow what a waste!

Boost infinite is horrible. Signed up for the I phone 15 and 3 lines one service. Still waiting on last phone to come, and still waiting to activate line 2. They had a a glitch or system failure last week and no one knows what there r doing. Called up numerous times to get activated and they are having problems. Have one ticket submitted and emails sent to support. Chat reps, phone reps all useless. Worst experience ever. Paying for a service can't even get fully set up on, it's crazy. Stay away. Go with Verizon. Which was my first choice, sending phones back, and switching to Verizon.

Dont get brought in on a thought.I am one who thought they were a great company.got charged a 100.to set the right sim card...And twenty dollars for the card.and this 150.dollar phone came with all the bells and whistles.Run.Run.Run..
Both local stores are so clueless as to what customer service is. Unable to talk direct via my phone to Boost so when to the stores with my data issues which have just started happening. Short story... last one advised me to get another service! That should tell anyone what they need to know about this service.
Supervisor let me wait for 2 hours to answer me and them can't resolve my data issues. I can't believe that. Them after 2:30 halftime offer me $5 dollars credit for the inconveniences. Another insult to my self.
You paid for a service unlimited and then they said data is limited - why they don't mention that when you add a services. Not recommend Boost Mobil at all.
Add a picture how long customer services let me wait for 2 hours 38 minutes
Tip for consumers:
Improve customer services and training supervisor to be helpful And resolve and have solution .

I purchased 2 phones from boost! This was in May! Well the phones barely. I miss all types of phone calls. I have had a person to tell me I have called you 5 times? Phone never rung. During phone calls service breaks up! When trying to make a phone I can't call out. On my second phone it is always saying server unreachable! I am so fed up.Turning the phone off and back on do not help. After a min on the phone the person on the other end says they can not her me! Bills are paid on this $#*!ed up lines yes I'm piss. Boost / sprint your services are bull$#*!!
Tip for consumers:
Sent out a text earlier person is just now getting it. I'm just now receiving a response
Boost is one of the worst companies ever I been paying all this time and have not been able to use hot spot and they always tell you something different.signal sucks also. Switching to a different company.
I purchased 2 phones and within 10 days I have been experiencing under water reception, can't receive photos and can't connect Bluetooth. They were unable to fix. They didn't give me insurance like I asked for so I'm just out of luck. Don't buy from Boost! Ellery Brown
I'm an old worker of boost mobile in darlington. This was the worst job I've ever had. It's not enough to show up and try but if you don't sell certain amounts of phones within a month you are fired. I developed good customer relations but not enough for them. They train you o. Production which is distracting and you're expected to perform within seconds of learning it. Not to mention they train you to manipulate price quotes so they can have almost $100 worth in accessories without telling customer. Would not recommend especially in darlington bc there is no customers to even sell to
