I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
Unlimited data means unlimited data not capped at 35.2g should be illegal. 2 weeks out of the month
Barely ever see two bars. I can't access websites or even the Boost app!Ready for a new provider!
The worst company I ever dealt with, bar none. I had 2 phones with another carrier that I needed to move somewhere else so I made the terrible decision of using Boost Mobile.
It took about 3 days to get my phones working again after they screwed them up, and the second one never worked right. They put the wrong kind of SIM card in it and it's a known issue that this phone (Alcatel 4052R) can lose all access to contacts if a 5G card is put in instead of 4G. Went back to the store (6th time - having spent maybe 5 hours there and driven 240 miles total). They said that is the only card they have and insisted it is working (tried to sell me another for $10). I finally said OK it might be working cause I can text and call but it caused other problems. They were useless and offered no help.
During this several day abortion I must have been on the phone over 5 hours and just as long on chat. Good luck trying to get a human on the line and then if you do they will pass you around and most of them don't seem to care at all.
I have already (as soon as I could) switched to ATT who has done great, but even trying to move my numbers to ATT Boost held up the porting of one number so that the ATT employee was on hold with them for an hour or longer, having to call them several times.
After my first phone was finally working I went to the website and logged in. I felt things would be OK so I signed up for auto-pay. Later when things just kept getting worse I logged in to turn off auto-pay and guess what? You can turn it on but you can't turn it off. THEY have to turn it off for you. I wonder if this is even legal.
I paid them over $100 for less than a week of service with all their fees (it was a $15 a month prepaid plan). Since have filed a complaint with the FCC, BBB and elsewhere and I want my money back.
The store personnel seem untrained and most don't seem to care a bit. During one visit there talking to their rep trying to get things right I suggested I might even picket out front and someone else waiting in line behind me said "I'll be right there with you"...
PLEASE at least check reviews before losing your money and phone service with this place that should not exist. Phones are important to most people, sometimes it's even life or death.
If you've had issues with them PLEASE submit a complaint to the FCC, it's the only way to stop this! Only takes a minute to do.
Never again under any circumstances will I do business with Boost Mobile or their stores in Salisbury, MD
Aldus Huxley would be a little smug and very disturbed over the newspeak dystopian world Boost Mobile has created. The account number you need does not exist. The generated number you need to port your phone number is a short lived computer generated code for one time use to flee their system. As of 10-1-21 you have to keep asking the chat person to give you your account number, takes 20 to 30 times till a sign in box appears. Click sign in box to go to a page that you supply your phone number, actual account number, and pin number. This generates a 6 digit number, NOT faux account number. This 6 digit number is used to generate the fake account number that is suppose to get your phone number ported. Boost gives you info backward so it is not useful. I abused the no service personnel, yelling and saying they where lying and telling them I would keep it up till I received the fake account number I needed. This took over 2 years. They offered a lower rate over 2 years ago to install an upgraded sim, Boost lied, no lower rate. I tried porting to Track phone, tried to for days, did not figure out there convoluted system. Then I tried to port to Tello, could not penetrate the system built not to be penetrated. Boost stole over $1000 in this way. The current convoluted system will be changed to make it harder to penetrate the system. I also created great anxiety in the Boost staff so they would want me out of Boost, so Boost will probably try to insulate the staff. If you are not using boost do not use them unless you are willing to walk away from the phone number you use with them. If you are trying to port away from Boost, My next step would have been to contact my US Rep and Senator. I am in a progressive state and they have good constituent services. That will not work in states where the citizen has no real recourse. If you want to use my advise on creating anxiety in the Boost personnel so they want you gone, have the company gaining your business call Boost on a 3 way call. The other phone companies get right into the Boost system and you will compress the time line and reduce your wait time. This also works to put constant irritation in the Boost people so they will want you out of Boost. Welcome to Brave New World, as Huxley predicted. The site asks me to tell you who I am. I was an electronic repairman in the service. I have an undergraduate accounting degree and MBA, Practiced for 18 years. Have done thousands of tax returns and compliance information. I taught myself 7 trades to operate my print shop for over 2 decades. I currently operate a very slow, pandemic economy, antique store. My proof of purchase are credit card entries that I do not know how to get a picture of into this computer. I do not use a computer for antique store, thus those skills have deteriorated since the print shop has been closed

Boost is cell service, I was locked into because I could not port my number out
