I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
Where do I start. The company is not what it use to be. I've been with boost for 10 years give or take. It all started when I had to do the stupid upgrade. I ordered a phone tried to change the number. But have my old number transferred to another carrier. But keep my Boost account active. We'll let's just say after talking with at least 8 different people nothing was accomplished. I paid my 80 dollars for this month and they canceled my account. They gave me a number for the new phone and turn it off. I called to get it turn back on, but they had the nerve to tell me I would have to pay an activation fee of 67 dollars. I just paid 80. I'm done good luck with them. I asked for Corporate and got hung up on more than once. Customer Service Sucks.
Spouse long time customer, directly paid from checking account, ported number to new phone service, Boost refused to refund three weeks of service due back. Customer service representative said too bad, you left.
Ordered a phone from Boost Mobile through their customer service department on 11/8/2022. Was informed I would receive the order number through my email. Never received the email, confirmation number or text. Called Boost and I would receive the email in 48 hours. Nothing. On November 14, still no phone, confirmation number or text, however, Boost had already debited my checking account. I called almost every day, only told an investigation was being performed. Asked for a refund. As of 11/24, no phone or refund. Phone arrived on 11/28. I don't want the phone now, but have to wait another 2-4 days to receive a return label, which wasn't included in, or with the package
Total nightmare dealing with Boost Mobile
Box never opened. Boost Mobile has lost me as a customer, after nearly 7 years as a loyal customer. Beware of their horrible customer service and non-english speaking representatives.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of Boost Mobile

They only care about the money, and they don't care about the customer. They don't listen. They make you repeat yourself multiple times. They don't transfer you to management if you ask. When managers are nice when they want to be, unless you get a good one like George. Or Michael. But two out of the many reps that we talk to ourselves. We talked about 30 reps & Ron is so rude he sucks that manager and kathy don't care
Tip for consumers:
It is way better to pay online or catch a good rep. Dont give up the reps all mostly do bad work but you may across a couple good ones.

I'm not even a Boost Mobile customer, but because of your current radio spot, you get a one-star rating. The guys that do the ring-a-ding-ding radio spot are like listening to nails scratching a chalkboard. You apparently didn't utilize a focus group for this ad.
By the way, your prices look great, but your rating is terrible.

None. My review is based on Boost Mobile's extremely annoying radio spot.
Very dishonest company and workers. The service is terrible for months they collected my money and terrible service call keeps dropping, no internet, no service, calls keep dropping, could not hear anything on the other line, calls just wouldn't go through. My calls went straight to voice-mail. They charged my account when I had a balance trying to keep me. It was terrible experience. I usually settle with a phone company for years but recently no I can't service is terrible and almost everyone don't speak fluent English to understand what you saying to them. They were refusing to return my money and use the balance on my account trying to hold pr confine me to the company longer. Find another company its not worth it.
Tip for consumers:
It very goo to make reviews because it helps you decide which company is reputable

I ordered a phone and expedited delivery which was 1-3 days. They then told me it would arrive when no one would be home for over a week, and refused to tell me whether the matter was cancelled or not - even though the phone had not yet been processed. If it arrived, I could send it back. Yay for me - except I wouldn't be there in the right time frame to do so. Plus, they kept me on a chat for an hour and 15 minutes without any resolutions. They are the worst company in the world!
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from them! They're awful!

I'm up the creek with no paddle - not sure what I will be doing, only that I will not be doing it with Boost.
I am very dissatisfied with my most recent experience at Boost Mobile. I was informed by the customer service representative that there would be coverage in my area but when I tried to use it, there was no coverage. I returned to Boost to find out why this is, and they swapped out the sim card for another one, stating that it would "fix" the problem. When I returned to my area, I encountered the same problem and yet again I had no service. I returned a third time to Boost and the interact with the customer service representatives was terrible. They were extremely unhelpful, very reluctant to give me the requested information regarding my account and provided me with no resolution. The information they gave me throughout this entire experience was grossly inaccurate and their treatment of a customer deplorable. I have no idea how they stay in business with service like that.
The transition being done to the new 5g service created all kinds of trouble. I had constant problems with not getting calls, texts, and not getting internet. I was constantly lied to by service techs about why. They even told me that my phone had gone bad and I went out and bought a new one. After almost $500 low and behold I discover I had been lied to. Thankfully I got my money refunded but I was out two full days of nonsense because it took my entire weekend of running from Boost store to boost store to only find out I had been lied to by a bunch of boost store employees as well. I found one guy who was really decent and told me he could fix the problem. It was fixed but my service has continued to be horrible. I still can't send texts and always make calls. I am getting real tired of this and am looking for another company.
Boost overcharged me... Locked me into a plan i dont need... Quoted wrong price... Just wrong all around... Im going back to verizon!
Boost screwed me so screw them!
Dont switch companies because probably wont be better at boost.
Tmobile better but not good as verizon.
Boost claims they have the biggest coverage area and 5G. This is incorrect. They subcontract with other providers to use their towers which for me, means my service cuts out even though my phone shows I'm within the LTE coverage area. Also, 5G is only available in a few cities which is how they try to use to justify their higher rates. I would not recommend this cell service. My experience with them has dramatically declined since Virgin Mobile was bought out by them.
After an unsuccessful 3 week nightmare of trying to change my current tmobile plan to another plan of theirs and get a new phone, I walked into a Boost Mobile store in Murray, Utah and got an unlimited everything plan for $30 a month and a great deal on the new iPhone I wanted. This was over $100 less a month than tmobile's price for the same plan. Within minutes everything was set up and ready to go, including switching my old phone #.
I get no service for 9 days total.we have family line of 2 there service is terrible used to thinkit was one of the best.and then the store tells me we could add another line but theres only 2 of us. so im going to walk around with 2 phones.ok your and idiot.
Daniel at the Iowa City store was very patient, kind, and easy to approach with my questions about upgrading my phone. 10/10 would go back. If that man gets a bonus or a promotion GIVE HIM ONE! Answered all my questions I had and even answered the ones I didn't have. The dude absolutely crushed it.
I have to say this is one of the worst phone services I have ever had to endure. It starts with the customer service which terribly lacks any kind of professional courtesy to the customer. Then the service is just horrendous. Any store I go into shopping or a mall and I want to Google something and look up a product I cannot get any service and I do not get calls that are trying to come through. I have tried to cancel my service twice and I still was billed twice and they could not refund my money they would only credit me another month of service with they're terrible service that I did not want. I do not recommend this service to anyone when there are so many to choose from boost is not the one to go with in my opinion.
An IT degree is needed to activate a new phone. The website has no search query (except on the "shopping" page. Gee I wonder why that is). You have to PICK something from a drop down menu which often doesn't include your specific issue. The call center closes at 9pm and there's often a language barrier. The customer service reps make an honest effort to resolve your issues but the language barrier makes communication difficult. They also should include a "find my phone"be link on their website. I know that feature is is a Google service but they often partner with Google. I really don't need to find my phone if I have my phone. The actual stores GROSSLY mark up their products plus they charge an activation fee. This dude didn't give me back the original SIM card that came with my phone. I've been without service for 3 days. I need my phone to make money. I'm about to find another carrier because I'm really frustrated with them
I've been a customer with boost for over ten years, and I can say it's been fairly decent. Not the best, but decent. I call in to understand their deals about a free phone offer, and the agent gets upset and hangs up on me, because he doesn't understand the deal. O yea, it's literally on their website so why aren't they able to look up their own deals? Get people with better work ethic to handle your business!
Tip for consumers:
Go to the store, so you don’t have to deal with the incompetent agents!
My sister purchased 2 phones with sim cards over 2 months ago was only able to activate 1 calling results in them saying either the phone will work in 3 days or they will call back the next day. They never call back she has been on the phone with them for hours with no results. She needs the phone for work. As it's past 30 days that won't take a return I will not recommend them to anyone.

A third rate MVNO, maybe the worst cell service company I have ever dealt with. Waited a while to insert my SIM card, when I did it would not make any calls or get data. I tried a different Boost sim in the same phone and it worked perfect. I called Boost 3 times and chatted once, I went through some very insipid troubleshooting steps (turn on, turn off etc). Each call, I was eventually told that their internal system was down and I would need to call back. After 3 calls, I tried chatting and after a 10 minute chat, was told I would have to go to a store to replace the sim. Not sure why they insisted on wasting my time if they cant do anything about it. About 90 minutes on the phone and 15 minutes of chat, I realized this has been a total waste of time. Will not be doing business with them anymore.
Every phone I got as a replacement phone had the same touch issue. Since January 5 phones! The one that seemed ok had no service. Boost did not back me by filing a claim stating my complained the day after activation about the screen not working: ghost movements, delays, and things opening on their own. My service at my house did not work well either thought I chose to put up w it b/c of the no contract benefit. Boost promised me a $10 credit towards my bill since I was 6 days without service b/c the new phone did not work, but I never received it. If this is all you can afford do it. NEVER EVER BUY INSURANCE Really, they should not work with the insurance b/c it reflects on them as a company. I just keep getting the ring around I am switching services right now. I took pics of the last two phones together with no broken screens but cannot post b/c the phone is not working to pull them up.
Scammed me out of my telephone number and refused to give me the port out pin for months until they closed my account! All the locations in the Bronx are successful scan artist who also over charged me for an IPhone 11 when I was a new customer transferring my number.

Boost Mobile is the most disgusting company ever. I started having problems with it immediately after paying for the connection. I was charged a month in advance, I did not receive my SIM card and contacted support, they told me that they sent me a new SIM card because UPS lost my first SIM card. I was promised that I would receive it in two days, but more than 5 days have passed and I have not received anything. I contacted support again and they just sent me saying that they could not help. The essence of this vile company is to take money for services that they do not provide.
I've been a customer for a long time
Who ever changed things really screwed things up. Unwanted text messages horrible customer service and net off for hours at a time. Will be changing service asap. Only thing they boost in your money.

Please don't get involved or spend money with this company. I wouldn't even call it a company I would call it a scampany! Free to take money and make promises they can't refill. Then as even that's not enough to throw more salt in the wound they offer half the price you're paying to the same people as you! Don't do this to yourself. They will have you pay $57 a month then offer $25 and take $25 off your credit card. After suspending your service claiming you owe $32 you can't do anything but pay. Even worse you can't even receive messages so you have to go to a store to pay $4 surcharge on top of the already $32. So $36 later overcharge for one month no adding the $30 overcharge for 12 months looks like you've been robbed for over $370 not including the other $370 they received! Common sense just switch to mint mobile your yearly bill will be $360 a year not $900 with big headaches and better coverage
Tip for consumers:
Buyers beware and potential customers run now while you can! Don’t let this thirsty suction cup of a so called company reel and suck you in with no relief!

I would use any of the products they offer it’s either a trap or the trap on you
The website is mediocre at best. Trying to get a live customer service representative that speaks English is a giant pain in the keister. I was given misinformation (or incomplete) when I wanted to have my phone unlocked. As a result I am without a phone for 3 to 5 working days which causes undue hardship. When you're a customer of boost you're nothing more than a monthly payment because you're certainly not given any respect.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this hack phone service at all costs. They could care less about customer service
