I called to activate my phone using a boost card the man who answered was very very helpful. He took his time explaining exactly what he needed and how I could get the information so he could turn on my phone. He remained positive throughout the entire call and even made small talk while waiting for the for the results to go through. 10/10 service someone i want to handle my technical issues in the future.
They do not have the phones they sell in stock to ship out within a good time frame! It takes them at least a week to even ship, even though they took the money from my account! What the heck? Phone service is good. Their customer service people suck too, even supposed supervicer. What the heck. Phones bought and paid for in total or payment they have for them should be able to ship within 24 hours for a big company like them. Seems like they have to order it, then ship to the custer!
Boost Mobile is the most there's no words that I can explain about boost Mobile boost Mobile sucks you can't never get anything taken care of your phone gets hacked constantly and there's nobody to help you with it because they know their company sucks boost Mobile is useless I would not if I was anybody else y'all do not spend your money or waste your money or your time because you will get headaches and wind up having a damn brainerism and blood pressure because boost Mobile does not care about their customers nor do they give a s*** about your plans all they give a damn about is making a dollar bill and f****** people over the b****** don't deserve no stars
I am disabled and caught a uber to 2 different boost stores to pay my bill, both were unable to pull up my account & promised to credit my account as they could see i was disabled, boost is having difficulties and care nothing about its existing customers and now my bill is due, I bet they have the tools to disconnect my account, but couldnt pull my account for me to pay it, what a waste of 2 trips to pay my bill while paying uber SMH currently looking for a new phone company, at least offer a extension during your technical difficulties BOOST MOBILE SUCKS!
I have been with Boost Mobile since the company first began and they were using the slogan Where You At! The company has ALWAYS been ghetto but it wasn't necessarily bad. Now that Dish took over it is horrible. My phone calls drop, I have an unlimited plan but somehow never have data, my phone seems to always stop working after a few months, and when I get it looked at it magically needs to be upgraded. I am tired of them as a company. Even the ordering of new phones. I ordered a phone and no tracking has shown up for my account. I reach out to customer service and the woman answering the phone tells me she can't see my phone tracking info but just be patient. If it has been almost 48 hours why doesn't my phone have any tracking available yet? I then asked for a refund since the phone hasn't been sent out just to be told that I can't do that. The only option I have is to return the phone after I receive it but that would defeat the purpose. I need a working phone now. If I wait until the new one gets to me why would I need to return it? I would have a phone! I believe it is finally time to move on. I am calling the bank to let them know what happened so I can get my money back and find a new company.

Am I being pranked? The app is so Cartoonish, like it's like an app for kids, and the so-called savings is LITERALLY penniesWho wants to spend this much time on this app? A total waist of time.Simple was good, this just makes me want to SWITCH from Boost.
I was so desperate to talk to someone about my experience that I did a little bit of digging and found out that, just recently Disk Network took over Boost Mobile.
Mark J. Is such a remarkably caring man. He patiently listened to every minute I complained about my 5 months experience with the boost mobile call center.
He has also read all these reviews that have been made against boost. He is not happy about any of what the call center reps are doing.
He did say that Dish is taking steps to change and improve on boost call center employees.
He also told me that he is taking my complaint and my experience to the board and letting them in on how my experience has effected myself and the companies reputation.
And he definitely went above and beyond for me, to prove that he wasn't lying to me (would rather not share his act of kindness).
Mark J., Thank you for caring about your company's reputation and for the humanity you possess. You are an angel and I am so appreciative that God lead me to your voice mail.
My service works maybe 50% of the time and in business that is embarrassing and disrupted. I can't open windows at work or in the car thata impossible.
Tip for consumers:
That they are not on AT&T towers and the service is horrible on my phone.

If I could give a negative star, I would. I have been with boost for at least 10 years. About 2 years ago, I bought an IPhone 8 outright from the apple store. I had it replaced last December. I am currently trying to switch to a new phone provider and Boost has my phone locked. When I called them the first 4 times, they repeatedly told me that my phone was not locked. I have called them at least 8 times now and found out that due to a new policy, they have it locked. Even though they advertise as a month to month plan, they now require you to have 12 consecutive months before unlocking a phone, even if it was not purchased from them. Because I had the phone replaced, my time restarted in December 2019 and will not be eligible for unlocking until December 2020. I have been waiting on a call back from a manager for the last 3 days, I was told I would be contacted in 24 hours. If I would have known of this new policy, we would have canceled our plans a long time ago. I just got off an hour and 10 minute phone call with them and they ended up transferring me to apple to assist with unlocking the phone. Apple cannot assist with this issue.
I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. We have a Unlimited family plan service. Over the past couple of years the service and customer service have really gone downhill. My service is constantly telling me I'm roaming when I'm running around town as usual like I have the last 6 years with no problems. I purchased a phone for my Mother and she died from Covid-19 a month later. I want to give the phone to my Grandson who has service on another carrier. Boost has the phone locked and will not unlock it even though I paid for the phone outright, No contracts right! So, Depending on the non-American English speaking person you get on the other end of the phone, they will most likely determine how the call will not satisfy the problem you called about. It may end with you either being lied to and then dismissed like they helped you(even gave me a bogus ticket #). Or Lied to and transferred to the phone manufacturer that then transfers you back to Boost because it is a Boost problem. Or, Lied to and then transferred to a Supervisor / an extension that will eventually hang up on you after you have been on hold for 45 minutes. These are the same tactics that Virgin Mobile used and seems to have come with Sprint and T-Mobile to Boost! I'm going to pay less for better service and go back to Verizon or AT&T!
I had boost mobile for 4 years and I've had bad service them whole 4 years I finally made the switch to metro pcs By T-Mobile and I would recommend metro pcs by T-Mobile rather then boost and if you want to take your phone to someone have fun because Boost has a "Policy" they have to follow and it will take 5 days to unlock so your better getting a new phone
BOOST MOBILE IS a right rip off then act like they know what there doing when they actually don't!

They refuse to issue a refund owed. They won't forward calls to a supervisor or manager. Each agent gives a different story. Completely unprofessional behavior by agents.
I've been with Boost for years now and their service just keeps getting worse their customer service is a joke I wouldn't recommend them to anyone their system is so glitch I got charged for two phones when I tried to order one and they said they fix it on the phone but then ship me to phones and now are refusing to give me my money back because they shipped phones they shouldn't have also their customer service people are not from the United States and are hard to understand
Boost Mobile really sucks that they their product sucks their phone service sucks you buy items from them and they're not willing to replace them even though they don't work
Tip for consumers:
Your customer service people are very rude or people that work in the store for you don't know what they're doing

Have a virgin mobil that switched to boost and they updated there system but we can't use our phone because they said we need the pin from virgin and when you call virgin it goes to boost. They said they can't activate there new sim without virgin mobil pin that we can't get because its now BOOST. DO THEY EVEN GET IT. This is the dumbest company I ever used and will never use AGAIN...
Customer service sucks here what they they gonna tell me I didn't have insurance and I been with them 7 yrs ALWAYS had insurance I cancel 2 lines and the changed my plan from 5 lines to 3 lines and when she changed my plan she canceled my insurance and they expect me to stay with them nope I'm gone
We do NOT recommend Boost Mobile. We switched carriers to AT & T due to a lower rate. We were told it would take 24 HOURS to unlock my husband's phone. We called for THREE DAYS straight and were told there were "issues with the back office" and they were unable to unlock his phone. My husband has his own business and can not be without his phone for this length of time. On Saturday we were told it would be 24 hours and come Wednesday his phone was still UNLOCKED. My husband went out and bought a new phone. We called Boost Mobile that evening and low and behold they finally had a pin # to unlock his phone. Of course they will not reimburst us for the cost of the phone. A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT. WE WILL NEVER USE BOOST MOBILE AGAIN!
They require you to get a new phone or lose service, but then they change your plan without telling you. Customer service is a joke, and good luck understanding them. I was under a special plan that Boost Mobile had for years, but now they removed it and forced me to purchase a brand new phone and they promised that I can remain on the same plan I just had to pay and wait for the next billing cycle; however, that was not the case. Thye put me on a much more expensive plan and even remove one of my family lines from my account. I had to call customer service and they informed me that the old plan is no longer available and I had to pay much more to reactivate my account and bring back the second line on my account. Boost Mobile didn't like having so many customers under the old plan, so they forced loyal customers to pay for an upgrade to brand new phones, all the time promising that the plan would stay the same for the same price. Yet, when the billing cycle ends it automatically switched over to a more expensive plan. Stay away from Boost Mobile!
In summary it is horrible! There will always be some type of problem with your phone, they will always claim they'll fix it, and they're customer service is horrible.
Boost swapped my phone number to a device that I DO NOT OWN AND I HAD NO SERVICE FOR 5 DAYS WHILE I WAS IN PUERTO RICO AND WHEN I CALLED OR CONTACTED THEM NOBODY WOULD ASSIST ME WITH THE ISSUE AND I HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER PHONE COMPANY AND BOOST WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO PORT THE PHONE NUMBER I HAD FOR 10 PLUS YEARS AND I HAD TO GET A NEW PHONE NUMBER AND THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY TRIED TO DEBIT MY BANK ACCOUNT TWICE BUT I HAD ENOUGH COMMON SENSE TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO STEAL MY MONEY LIKE THEY HAD STOLEN MY PHONE NUMBER. THEY ACTUALLY ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
Tip for consumers:
Boost will rip you off, tell you how sorry they are and tell you that they cannot help you with your problem. Good luck because AI will be taking their jobs!

The same IPhone that I have had but I took it to another carrier!!!
1st off you should know that Boost Mobile only has a 7 day return policy - that's 7 days from the day you order it, not from the day you activate it! My phone took 7 days to get to me, so my ability to return it was over before I got it.
2nd you will get customer service from India or China or some other country, which is fine except that this company must outsource because NONE of them speak English fluently which makes it very difficult to communicate.
3rd. What they won't tell you is that they will send you notices that they will no longer support your great phone (mine was an LG) forcing you to purchase something else and then that phone's service plan will cost more. Which is probably why they'll send you the notices to upgrade in the first place.
4th. Whatever you do, where ever you go - do not buy the moto g pure phone - it randomly freezes, particularly when you are on a call and the features have been over thought - you know the kind where you think about the design so much that you over think it, making it impossibly complicated to do even the littlest thing. I've never hated anything before and I actually hate this phone.
5th. When you call BOOST for support, instead of helping you, they will automatically connect with the manufacturer of the phone. The first question they ask is "What kind of phone do you have" and that's it, you are transferred and have to start over. They don't even let you know that that is the procedure. Very very poor customer service - if any.
Tip for consumers:
If you like no customer service or foreign customer service, and no returns, go with Boost Mobile.
