The Bradford Exchange has been very honest, reputable and fair with me & and I love there merchandise! Some very unique and interesting items only to be found at the Bradford Exchange. They also have a the absolute best guarantee in the business & One year exchange or refund for any reason, how can you get better than that! The one improvement that I wish they would work on is with there Customer Service agents... some are super, and really want to help you... others act and talk like they have been woken Out of a deep Sleep when you try and ask for help. If they could improve on this just a little... you'd have a great company going to a Super company!
I got a letter in the mail stating that I was chosen for a free coin. I got really excited and I accepted the coin since on my free time I like to find coins to keep and so I went ahead and sent in the paperwork for this "free" coin. After a while of having the coin in my possession, I started to get mail coming in for other coins that stated that you needed to pay for them. I wasn't interested, so therefore I didn't send in for those ones. Shortly after this, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I did not pay for this supposedly free coin that they would send it to collections. In my defense, I honestly thought this was a mistake since the very first letter that I got said that this coin was free. So after a while of ignoring that first invoice, I got another one still threatening to send this bill to collections. So doing what anybody would do I called Bradford exchange and explained to them that I did not appreciate being threatened that something that was supposed to be free is now on almost on its way to collections, because I refuse to pay for something that was stated to be free. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that the coin was free to look at- not to have. I referred back to the very first letter that I got stating that I was chosen for a free coin and nowhere on that piece of paper did it say that it was a free to look at coin. It flat out states that this is a free coin for you to have. There is NOWHERE on the first initital letter stating that if you wanted to keep the coin, you had to pay for it. So honestly, this company is super unprofessional, and a SCAM! Do NOT accept the "free" coin. They will just screw you out of it.
I am waiting 4 weeks and the order is not send yet. I payed $100 for my daughter birthday present and I'm not sure if the order will come. Disappointed

I have ordered a figurine for a kitty thing. It said it was shipped april 26 it is now may 7th and nothing I will never order from them ever again I wasted my money
This is a scammer. My bank Northwest bank tell me I could order personal check. I ordered some check from them. Beside I paid the fee of check. However I didn't notice That they charged me 14.95 each month total 16 month up to now. I called them last night, a lady told me I am a membership of them. I told her I never applied for any membership. She told me If I applied for personal check, they thought you I would like to be a member of it. I spent 240 dollars to get some personal check. The I told her I have to cancel my membership, then she asked me to verify my personal information, I told her my address, she said it was wrong, I told her I could email her a copy of my drive license, she told me they don't believe drive license. You think, they filed an address where I never lived, how could I verify my address? That means If you are a member of it, you never could cancel it and paid them monthly. This is a roguish company, Hi, bodies, never buy personal check from this garbage company

I purchased what I thought was a train set, but it ended up being a "subscription". For a little over $100, all they sent me was a small train engine. I didn't realize I had a "subscription" until an additional charge was on my bank account and I received another shipment. I was in communication with customer service, and I very clearly explained that I wasn't aware that I had signed up for a subscription, and to cancel it. Customer service assured me the subscription was cancelled, but they took a third payment out of my account and didn't send me anything this last time. I returned both the engine and the second package (which I didn't open and simply wrote "REFUSE" on the package) almost a month ago and still haven't received a refund. The company is refusing to acknowledge the third charge with no product sent to me. I am out a total of $170 with no guarantee that I will even receive a refund, and no guarantee that they won't continue to take money out of my account whenever they please.

I ordered something on Friday, July 20. Fortunately I printed a copy of my order directly from the web site rather than wait for my e-mail confirmation -- which NEVER came. In following up, I sent a message to "customer support" and received no response or even confirmation of an e-mail message. I am worried now that they have my credit card number. I spoke to "customer support" and was told that I should have received my e-mail confirmation. I told them I hadn't. The "customer support" rep took my name and found my order only to inform me that they don't have the item in stock and that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the item. I cannot wait that long so I cancelled the order and had the "customer support" rep read me the cancellation confirmation number. I am just so disappointed that the item was NOT labeled out of stock. I was given NO notice of that and/or even e-mail confirmation of my order. Then the "customer support" rep tried to sell me something as I was telling him about the botched e-mail, lack of notice about out of stock items, and terrible communication. I wish I would have checked here before even placing an order. I was just too excited about the gift I was hoping to give! Oh well. I found another better item on a different site.

I ordered this ring as a present for my wife the beginning of September, they sent the wrong size, after a lot of problems, I eventually managed to get it sent back, and stupidly, I asked for the right size to be sent sometime in the middle of October, they still sent the wrong size, so I sent it back within a couple of days and asked for a refund, I've been waiting over a month now, and keep getting fobbed off with pitiful excuses.
If I don't have my refund by the end of this week (20th November) come Monday, i'm just dragging them through the courts, and while I'm at it, I'll take them for all my time wasted, cost of calls, and legal expenses, I've had more than enough of this useless company

Music box ordered 7/1/16. Music box shipped 7/6. Delivered 7/15. It took 15 days to deliver the music box from Niles, il to w. Dundee, il. It is an approximately a 30 to 40 min. Drive for delivery. Fedex received the package 1st, then was passd on to the USPS, WHICH TOOK ADDITIONAL TIME. Why couldn't fed ex just deliver the package. Icalled to complain to a supervisor, & made her aware that I was very upset because it was a special b. D. gift that was deliverd 4 days late. I also inform her of the numerous complaints from others. She said she was not aware of any comaints. I referred g\her to SITE JABBER. I told her to remove my email address, and would not order from Bradford Exchange ever again. WORSE SERVICE EVER!

Attempt to call several times earlier today. Kept getting sent to voice mail and then disconnected. Finally able to leave a message. Waited about an hour and a half, no return call. Attempt to call again several times. Got voice mail and then disconnected. Finally got a live person, connected to the wrong person. Was told that the problem was their new system, the same stinking excuse given to me several times over the past three weeks. Asked when they were going to get their system fixed. Response... let me get Ayah on the phone for you. Ayah on the phone, asked if she got my message from earlier in the day. She asked what message? Got disconnected. No return phone call. I guess they will blame that on the system too. Ayah not able to pick up the phone and call me back will be a system issue, the system sure is getting blamed for a lot of customer service issues. And, yes, I know what the response will be from this company to the BBB, it will be for me to contact my personal shopper. But, how in the world do I contact my personal shopper when the stinking system is working and when you get disconnected your personal shopper doesn't have the character and integrity to return a phone call.

In total I have purchased 5 baby dolls. The first 2 looked nothing like the rendering posted, the 3rd I would have kept but her armatures were broken and the 4th looked nothing like the rendering again. I am new to doll collecting and didn't know you had to research the doll on YouTube to actually find out what the doll really looks like. Usually nothing like what is on their website. It is illegal in Canada to mislead consumers in this way it's called bait and switch. They are basically showing you a product you will not receive. They only show renderings of their products none of them are the actual products. Recently my mom wanted the 5th doll a $300 doll. She is the cutest thing and my mom wanted to keep her. Today my mom noticed that the doll has a rip on the inside of the arm she will be going back sadly. Coincidentally I was warned that BE's silicone rips easily. AND waiting for returns is rather painful. They take almost a month which is unheard of in 2022. My mom returned the bassinet that was ordered as it was horrible quality and not worth the price and I am still waiting on the refund. When you email customer service they never actually answer your inquiry they reply with a scripted email. I have lost over $100 is postage fees that are non-refundable maybe that's how they stay in business.

I tried getting some refund back on what they owe me I paid $40 for overnight for my daughter's birthday and they sent it to the billing address instead of her address and only refunded me half of the money back and when I called for help they they claimed I was racist because I didn't understand their speech and I got finally got the watch to my daughter and it was so huge wouldn't fit nobody and I don't recommend anybody trying to get their money back or any help on there I will never go back there again
At the beginning of December I ordered a fairly simple wedding band from The Bradford Exchange. I haven't had lunch finding rings I like that are in our price range. Which is why I ordered from here. As my wedding date was set to February 11th. (I have to order my rings because my fingers are so small and it's hard to resize bigger rings) I was promised my ring would be in January 19th. TWICE by customer service. On January 19th by the end of the day my ring wasn't here. I called them. The automated system was saying March 2nd. So I called customer service to see what was going on in hopes that the system had it wrong. NOPE they hadn't even STARTED to make the ring. I explained to the guy my frustrations. He was very understanding and canceled the ring for me. At this point we decided to go to a local jewelry store and order one. However, while on the phone the guy kept trying to sell me other rings. Needless to say I don't have a wedding band for my wedding on February 11th now.
