“Color Me Contrarian, But I Like My Masks”

So many negative reviews. My experience has been good. My masks arrived today(order placed online July 19,2020; arrived August 3,2020), and they are exactly as advertised. I look forward to washing them prior to their first use and adding them in to my rotation of various face masks. I did have to return to the company's mask website to see exactly where on the masks one inserts the replaceable filters, but that mystery was solved in less than a minute. Love the print design on my masks. Ordered four masks in total, so I can give one each to my daughter and son in law. Thank you Brave New Look! Everyone, please wear your masks and try to maintain proper social distancing. Terry Harris(Wyoming)

Ordered, charged immediately, did not receive the product, multiple follow-ups, automated responses, ongoing over weeks. Even got a USPS tracking number but the package never moved. Following up with my credit card company next.

I ordered an item in November, thinking that would be plenty of time for it to arrive my Christmas.No such luck.

I even had to contact them just to get a confirmation of my purchase and a tracking number, which ended up being bogus. After contacting them yet again, I was told my product was finally on its way (this was in January, 3 months after placing the order). Lo and behold, when it finally arrived, it was the wrong item. I contacted them again and they said it would be another 2-4 weeks before they could send me the correct item.

It was a simple pair of leggings... hardly a special order item. I responded and told them no, that's ridiculous, just give me my money back. After that, I never heard back from them.

I emailed them once a day for the next few days and still got no response. Despite apparently being incapable of responding, they did manage to cancel my order without notifying me (I only found out because I checked the status of the order from a previous email) but they did not issue a refund. Pretty sure that's called theft. I've contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau because that's about all I can do at this point.

Don't buy from these people. They're overpriced and have a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction in any capacity.

This was the WORST company I've ever DEALT with! Finally got what I ordered 3 months later and it was total JUNK UNUSABLE JUNK! STAY AWAY CHINESE RIP OFFS LIED MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN I COMMUNICATED WITH THEM! CON ARTISTS FOR SURE!

I ordered masks for all of our employees back in April because I thought the extra protection was a great idea. They've emailed me 3 times to tell me order has shipped but the DHL tracking # they give me is too long to be valid. Their chat # is out of service. All emails to me have been virtually identical. I am SO glad I paid through PayPal and my company's Gold VISA. I have 2 layers of protection to ensure I get my money back and already had started the dispute process with both. DO NOT BUY FROM THEY- THEY ARE A SCAM>

I ordered May 4th, when their site stated a May 12th delivery date. I never even got a confirmation email but my credit card got charged immediately! I did get the canned "your order is approaching the top of the queue" response from customer service but nothing else and questions about my specific order were not responded to. I am kicking myself for not checking BBB or online reviews first. I understand delays due to Covid, but no communication at all is unacceptable. I am contacting my credit card company to dispute charge for non-receipt of goods. I ordered from a different site and had masks within 10 days - and excellent communication. Save yourself the stress and hassle of trying to get your money back DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Does not respond to inquiries, shipped only half of my order! Charged me for full price and I only got two out of four items. Tried to email a dozen times with no reply.

It's been 5 weeks since my order of 55.00 for masks, I emailed them before my purchase and
They told me they were in stock and would take a week for delivery.
Since then 5 weeks ago I have sent them an 2 emails a week, I get the
Same reply email saying we can upgrade your shipping. I needed these masks for work 3 weeks ago.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, APPARENTLY THEY ARE NOT IN STOCK,
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY,
UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT 6 WEEKS FOR YOU PRODUCT.

My fault because I didn't do my homework 1st.

I wish zero or negative stars were an option. This company deserves the lowest rating I can give. I ordered a mask to try them out and when it became painfully obvious that they had no intention of actually shipping in a timely fashion like they indicate on their website, I emailed them to cancel the order. I then found myself engaged in an email flurry with someone named Ian (who is probably just some computer with a form letter) and who repeatedly asked me dumb questions like why I wanted to cancel and "how about I upgrade you to priority shipping!" After about 4 emails requesting to cancel, my order finally arrived out of the blue. I requested a return, no response. Thank goodness I was only out about 18.00. I had originally intended to spend over $100 on a mask for everyone in the family but something told me to start with one to try it out. I can't believe how fortunate I was to only lose $18 to this company. I can't even speak to the quality of the mask because I threw it right in the garbage. I don't trust anyone with business practices like these to make a quality mask. Stay far away from these folks and save yourself some headaches!

Re-writing the above posts would be fruitless because mine is the same. Has anyone found a contact number for this "company?" I think legal action at this point is warranted in some cases.

After much shopping for an appropriate and quality face mask I decided on Brave New Look. It took nearly 4 weeks to receive my order. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE PRODUCT. I am a male and it does not fit my head, even with adjustment of the straps. A TOTAL RIP OFF. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE CLOSED. I have told everyone I know to avoid the company and will continue to do so. I WANT MY MONEY BACK BUT FEARFUL OF HOW LONG THAT WOULD TAKE. Are these folks connected with Trump and his cohorts. The company runs business using the Trump format. I would expect this company to pay poor wages and treat workers like crap. Like I said. They need to shut the company down. I am forwarding my review to the better business bureau and anyone that can stop this kind of bull$#*!.

Ordered 8/5/2020 and shipped 8/17/2020. Sent to wrong address according to USPS... returned to sender. Asked for refund... request ignored. Customer service renewed the order on 9/4/2020 and as of 9/16/2020 have not been notified order has shipped. Numerous contacts with customer service and they ignore request for refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! SCORE OF -10!

I haven't ordered anything yet so the one star rating is my impression of the company based on the reviews alone. First, I saw a few pairs of leggings I liked and was considering ordering. I do not like the website though, you have to scroll through everything all styles or have the right words to describe for a certain product to come up. Then I signed my email up to get a discount for first order and instantly got PM in my FB messages, then another, then another with more % off. I didn't even sign up via FB or give FB info & it came off as kind of desperate. Any type of company that I'm not familiar with I will search for reviews, which is how I ended up here. There is another site with bad reviews of this company as well. What is interesting is when you look at the product and sizes, it will say, only 12 left, or 16 left, etc... from the reviews here, it is custom made to order. I won't be ordering from them and thank you all for input with this company and hope your money is refunded and issues with them are resolved. Hopefully they will be put out of business or clean up their act and conduct themselves like a legitimate company does. It is a shame bc they have some cute unique styles and if they ran an honest customer service based business with a quality product, I believe they would be successful.

I ordered 4 masks On May 5 after my sister got some from here (quickly, I might add) and I finally got an email May 26 that mine supposedly shipped. Now a week later (6/2) whenever I check the shipping status it still says DHL is awaiting to even receive the package to ship it out! All I get back is an automated reply when I email. If I don't receive my order soon I'll be reporting to PayPal and then to BBB!

I could not believe that I paid $30.00 for a piece of s. T mask like this. It was too small, it took too long to get to me. I just purchased a mask from a store in my city and it was better made and it fit my face. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE i DID!

The masks do take awhile to come but I knew that from other masks orders coming from China like maybe close to two months. If it was not for PayPal, I would not have had a working e-mail to contact them. They responded right away with that address but it was not the address on the site, I believe. The filters looked alright and thread into the mask with a tight squeeze and then expand out when they get centered making for extra protection. There are only two layers of fabric which is cotton without the filters. I don't believe they would be very protective without the filters. The filters are not washable and the nose wire was poking though the material on one of the masks after I hand washed it carefully. I think the mask should have three layers of cotton at least plus the liner for the filter and maybe a plastic nose wire with a blunted end that is less likely to puncture the fabric. I liked that the straps were adjustable but black would be better so as not to show dirt. These masks of which I ordered two were in resealable bags and were sealed at the start. I did need to wash them by hand due to the smell from the sizing. I was grateful these masks were not polyester which are too warm to wear. Do not ever machine wash or put into a dryer.

I had an issue with an order in October 2016. I only JUST received an email asking me how my experience with customer service was. The answer is TERRIBLE, but when I clicked on the link they asked me to, it simply said that the ticket had been closed and I could not comment. WTF?

They Sent me missing item. But, lack of being able to speak to anyone is not good business practice. I doubt I will ever order from Brave New Look ever again!

DO NOT TRUST BRAVE NEW LOOK! I ordered a mask around the beginning of May and is now mid June, upon multiple notifications claiming that the order has shipped, i have received no updates and the tracking number they provided me in inactive as if the order never existed. I only managed to get a response ONCE and all they did was issue me the same inactive tracking number

I am giving this Co a 1 because I ordered mask on May 13th and have Not Received them Yet. Every time I email which took them 2 weeks to respond all I got was about their Co opening up a new place in California and my order was coming. I also got a question to rate customer service. Now I am being told on 6/2/20 it will be 4 more weeks I responded and No One is responding Again. I am Feed Up with this Co they wasted No Time taking My Money on the 13th of May.

I AM TODAY GIVING AN UPDATE ABOUT BRAVE NEW LOOK. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED MY TOTAL ORDER FROM THIS CO. THEY FINALLY ON 6/15/20 SENT PART OF THE ORDER AND ARE SAYING THEY SENT IT ALL. YOUR ONLY CONTACT IS THROUGH EMAIL AND ONCE YOU EMAIL AN AUTO RESPONSE COMES BACK RIGHT AWAY. IT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS AND NOT A COMPLETE ORDER YET. I HAVE SENT PICTURES OF WHAT I RECEIVED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS IT WILL BE FIXED AND THE NEXT EMAIL THEY ASK FO A RATING FOR THE EMAIL THAT WAS SENT WITH NO ITEMS BEING SENT YET. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE DEALT WITH A COMPANY OF THIS KIND AND THIS IS THE TRUTH. BRAVE NEW LOOK IS THE WORSE FOR ME. ALL I KEEP ASKING THEM FOR IS TO SEND ME WHAT I PAID FOR ON 5/13/20 WHEN THEY TOOK MY MONEY.

Very disappointed.
1. DECEPTION: The website pics are enhanced. The real product is incredibly dull and lifeless. (see my pics) 1. Real to website pic 2. Real pic 3. Me enhancing the real pic. BAD business practice.
2. DECEPTION: 4 pictures on the website (of 10) seem to indicate that the mask will protrude some, from the face. 4 pictures show the mask seemly coming to points in the center top and bottom. The REALITY is the 2 pictures of the backside of the mask w/the filter sticking out of it's pocket/laying on the backside. (as shown in my pics) These ARE oval, folks. Even though the other type exists. These are NOT them (that have that protrusion) Naughty Brave New!
Fool me once!
3. Way overpriced for what you get. I have since found far better value on the net. So can you! For this price point they should have included the bendable nose piece. (noted that they are not sold this way) Further, as these are commonly non-refundable. Note the measurements. Though accurate 5" 'height' is skimpy on my utterly average face.(size)

I placed an ordef for masks on 4/29/20 and still have not even recieved a tracking number. I sent a request for an update on 5/18 and recived a response about expedited shipping and that I was at the top of the list to have my order shipped within the week. Here I am 15 days later and nothing. I sent an additional email and got the same response. I am pissed at myself for falling for this SCAM. I cannot believe that during these times that FB would allow people to get scammed. I guess making billions is more important to Zuckerberg that the people who made him that money!
