“Color Me Contrarian, But I Like My Masks”

So many negative reviews. My experience has been good. My masks arrived today(order placed online July 19,2020; arrived August 3,2020), and they are exactly as advertised. I look forward to washing them prior to their first use and adding them in to my rotation of various face masks. I did have to return to the company's mask website to see exactly where on the masks one inserts the replaceable filters, but that mystery was solved in less than a minute. Love the print design on my masks. Ordered four masks in total, so I can give one each to my daughter and son in law. Thank you Brave New Look! Everyone, please wear your masks and try to maintain proper social distancing. Terry Harris(Wyoming)

Ordered, charged immediately, did not receive the product, multiple follow-ups, automated responses, ongoing over weeks. Even got a USPS tracking number but the package never moved. Following up with my credit card company next.

Looks like they are cardboard from China. Not even dyed properly. Real junk. Don't waste your money on this company's masks.

Ordered 4 reusable masks and extra carbon filters four weeks ago (mid May). Website stated items available for shipment within 10 days. Received confirmation of order and nothing since. I have now demanded an immediate refund of my undelivered order back to my PayPal account and will pursue through PayPal and my Credit card company.

My only regret is that I did not research the company before I ordered. I had ordered masks from another company (also in California) and received them (on East Coast) within 10 days with shipping communication.

In searching for a contact number I found *******445 and *******469, both invalid numbers I tried calling several times; and an address at 237 Kearney St #9091, San Francisco, CA ******* that I can't verify. I found several email support addresses, but no responses (*******@bravenewlook.com, vip*******@bravenewlook.com,
*******@onlineshirtorders.com).

From my internet search of their services and products the company is a sham and a fraud. Products if and when delivered are defective and overpriced and only fit to be thrown away. I see only complaints from various sites, to which I am adding my own review. Additionally the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has the following notice "Brave New Look came to BBB's attention in November 2016. A review of complaints done in May 2019 state that consumers order items and do not receive them, in some cases when they receive the item, the item is defective. Complaints also state that consumers have difficulty receiving refunds. Brave New Look was notified in writing and asked to address the above concerns. BBB also requested the company explain their delivery process including estimated delivery times and shipping policies, as well as providing BBB with updated contact information. Brave New Look has not responded to our request."

I ordered mask and this company took forever with the shipping so I cancelled. I ordered mask another company and received them and still did not receive from Brave New Look. When I contacted them, they stated you are in the queue to have your order ship out. We will ship it priority at no extra charge. Please don't cancel. So... I feel for that nonsense. Then I get an automated message stating that my message has been received and my order is scheduled to ship in 3-4 weeks! I emailed back to cancel. Then I received another email from support please don't cancel, they will offer me a 30% discount on my order not to cancel. The representative stated, please advise, let me know if I can do this for you, meaning offer the 30% or I will cancel the order if you would like. I responded back. Please cancel the order. I was tired of their false promises. Well, No response! I sent another message. When can I expect my refund? Still, no response! They only respond to your emails when you contact them regarding an order. When I contacted them about cancelling my order the 1st 2 times they responded. After that, no response. I tried contacting over and over again regarding my cancellation and my refund. I finally received a message stating, "Good news, your item has shipped". I replied back, "I cancelled this order several times, why are you sending this to me?" You will need to send me a RMA. I have contacted your company several times to no avail" I will be mailing back your unopened package" Still no response! All I can advise is "Buyer beware". You will not get anywhere with this company once you place your order!

Never received masks that I paid for. Customer service will not respond. I believe there are extra penalties for companies that scam using COVID 19?

When I placed my order on May 13,2020, the website stated 1-2 weeks for delivery. When I inquired about my delivery date on June 4,2020, I received an automated reply that the masks would be shipped within a month of the original order date. In the meantime I had to order masks from another company as I had to return to work. On June 13,2020, I requested that my order be canceled and asked for a refund. I received a reply stating that the masks would be shipped shortly and they would expedite my delivery free of charge. This was a nice gesture but I no longer needed the masks as I had received masks from a different company and asked again to cancel my order and issue me a refund. This email was responded to by offering to waive my shipping fee altogether. Again I explained that I no longer needed the masks and asked for a refund. Brave New Look responded with a 30% discount offer which again I explained that I no longer needed the masks and please refund my order. After that last email, guess what? No response from the company. Shocker. I went to the Better Business Bureau's website and found that this company has had complaints filed against them since 2016 for not fulfilling orders, not issuing refunds and having poor quality products in general. The BBB requested information from the company regarding their policies and practices which, brace yourselves, has not been complied to by the company (another shocker). I am actually shocked that the company has not yet been shut down. Not sure what the BBB is waiting for. I will being going through my MasterCard company to see what recourse I have in getting my money back and I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the BBB. I have never had such an experience with a company before and such a $#*!ty experience to have to go through during one of the darkest periods in history. Thanks Brave New Look! You're awesome!

I order a pack of 4 mask over 2 months ago. Still haven't received them. Emailed them on numerous occasions stating just wanted to cancel order, get refund. Of course, like everyone else, was given every reason under sun. Offered discounts on shipping, etc. Kept telling them " no " cancel my order and want refund. I even got an email, from a " annie" stating order was cancelled. TODAY ( 6-15-20) I get an email, stating my order is processed, but the order would not be shipped out till later date. EVEN though I cancelled my order 3 weeks ago? Found a phone numbet AND address that listed for this company. IN REALITY, that address and phone number is JUST A SHIPPING COMPANY! AND HERE IT IS: BRAVE NEW LOOK. 237 Kearny street # 9091. San Francisco, California. *******. They also list this as their corporate office. This address is listed at bottom of some of their adds too. SCAMMERS! BBB has them listed as an " F ". OF COURSE they aren't even accredited with BBB. I thought about filing a " small claims " to get my money back, through my state, or filing with consumer protection through my state, BUT WITH A FALSE address, don't think that will work. IF, consumers were to file a complaint, nationally with consumer protection in WASHINGTON, or even find a attorney, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, we ALL could file a class action suit, AGAINST " brave new look". GOOD LUCK to all, in getting a refund or even getting in touch with someone at brave new look. Cause you WONT! STAY AWAY! FROM THIS COMPANY, SCAMMERS!

Original online orders placed on May 1,2020. Follow-up email from Brave New Look on May 15,2020 acknowledged my order of two NAVY Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filter and two BLACK Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filter totaling $52.59 (including shipping cost of $4.99) and would shipped in 1-2 weeks.

On May 30,2020, by email, you advised "Some items in your order are on the way to you" (two NAVY Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filter) and a click-link for DHL tracking was provided which gave DHL/USPS Tracking #xxx7126. The two NAVY Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filters were received on June 4,2020.

On June 1,2020, by email, you advised "The last items in your order are on the way to you" (two BLACK Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filter) and a click-link for DHL tracking was provided which gave DHL/USPS Tracking #xxx*******. This tracking number was identical for the two NAVY face masks. The two BLACK Protective Face Mask with PM 2.5 Filters have NOT been received.

"Too many hands in the pot will spoil the stew." Discontinue the middle entity, DHL, and ship directly via USPS and save the client/customer shipping charges. Thank you!

This company will take your money and never give you what you ordered. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Tip for consumers:
They took 2 months to send me half my order, and that was only after I started emailing them asking to cancel it. They quickly shipped half the order at that point so they wouldn’t have to give my money back. Then I corresponded with someone saying I would take what was sent but wanted the other items refunded. So they quickly shipped that too- so they could keep my money- but it’s been 3 weeks and the shipment still hasn’t arrived.

Products used:
I kept what they sent me because they were not returnable. Very poor quality face masks- they could be bought for $2.99 at Walmart. They claim to be making them on their own and try to make it out to be an act of service. It is a SCAM. They come in plastic baggies, of different brands. Do not trust this company for anything!! Do not buy from them!!
