I ordered some tickets for a show and received them instantly through email. Although it cost more than purchasing it at the outlet, the extra expense was justified given the hour-long commute.

I agree with the other reviewer, who said that she would give ZERO stars, if that were an option. We are a small start-up theatre company serving children and youth. Our event ended 30 days ago, and Brown Paper Tickets is still refusing to disburse our funds. Their phone system is shut down. I have sent seven separate e-mails, only one of which has received anything more than an automated response. They cite "covid-related delays" as the cause for this problem. This makes no sense. Theatres are up and running. Pay-outs are done electronically, which means that they can be handled remotely. Brown Paper Tickets had no problem taking our money; they only seem to be suddenly stricken with Covid when it's time to disburse funds to their customers. As a small start-up, I have absolutely no recourse for this. All I can do is take my future business elsewhere and warn others. NEVER, EVER USE BROWN PAPER TICKETS! I am absolutely at my wit's end. It is very unnerving to have a company withholding your own money from you. I am irate.

I think what's commendable about BPT is that they really do process requests for refunds quickly, even at the height of pandemic-led cancellations. No need for follow-ups!

I always like to check this site for local events. If you're sick of ticketmaster you'll love this site, they don't have big service and delivery fees so the tickets aren't way overpriced.
