I'll make this quick. Canada Post is an incompetent, presumptuous, self-proclaimed private company that provides such bad customer service and products that there is no way they exist anymore without government help. They charge for thin air and then they take your property and throw it in the garbage when you don't comply with their backwards policies which literally no other company on the continent observes. Please please please do not use Canada Post anymore, we need to have a viable alternative.

Update: I found out their incompetent joke of a delivery person lied about the address issue. My property was not delivered for NO good reason and then trashed after they stole it. At Christmas.

Honestly I've never had such a bad experience with a delivery service.
Took weeks to get here from the states and then was delayed an hours drive from me at the post office for 3 days.
What a joke. It makes sense all the reviews are 1 star. Don't use this company to mail your product it's a nightmare.

Shame

I genuinely feel ashamed that a governmental agency can have such poor management, customer service and reading skills. Their incompetent and irresponsible behavior is truly a sight to behold.

If you want to save your nerves and money, do not use this company

Delivered promptly
Unfortunately I wasn't there to receive item and as agreed it would be picked up at the post office.
Unfortunately, the post office they picked was not the local post office but one that was a 40 minute drive each way.
I paid 10 bucks to get the envelope shipped and ended up driving well past the original shipper to get to the post office it was dropped off at.
Makes no sense.

Gone downhill

Canada Post has totally gone downhill.
I can't believe how their customer service rep treat customers.
Everything is also automated and sorting mail and it's done incorrectly.
It was nice back in the day when you actually talk to your mail person and got your mail delivered at the correct address.

I had a lot of errands to run today, (Remembrance Day) and Canada Post is one of the stops. It was closed. It is in the service industry so why do they close on Sundays and public holidays? While other establishments are open - grocery stores, airlines, buses, hospitals, fire stations, etc., Canada Post considers itself privileged to enjoy down time. Its existence is to serve the public, albeit its horrible service even when opened. Now I have to waste my time with make one more trip to them. Terrible!

Lazy and worst service

Worst worst worst worst worst service ever!
My package is literally in my own city from last 4 days!
Why the heck would you not deliver when you have it right next to me
Literally less than 10 kilometers away

And yes I'm not gonna go and pickup
I paid money for that terrible service I want it on my doorstep otherwise what's the point on paying 8$ for delivery service?

It's been sitting in the exact same warehouse or whatever it is for last 4 days and it keeps on saying
"It'll arrive today between 9am - 1pm"
$#*! no it won't from last 4 days it hasn't
Why would they even literally write that if you aren't even going to deliver?

Terrible service ever

Worst service ever
January 10, 2023

If there is 0 rate option, it will be my rate for Canada Lost.
Recent three partials, one said address error, customer service confirmed my address on file was 100% accurate and when I received the package, no rewrote or damaged label, I guess just the employee was too lazy to get their job done.
The other one was re-routed without any reason, the partial is sitting in my city and not being delivered;
None of my partials arrived on time or ever arrived. And Canada Lost does not give a $#*! about it.

Waste of money

I paid for expedited service with signature required. It should have arrived at my door but the mail person just drove right by and left delivery notices. I called the local office which should have been able to do something, it's a small town of 10,000 and takes a whole 5 minutes to drive across but they refused to do a thing and told me to contact customer service. I did and fought with their useless phone answering AI for 10 minutes as it kept screwing up and finally yelled at it "OPERATOR" before it would put me through. Customer service is starting a look into it but that doesn't really help me, I still can't get the stupid thing until tomorrow afternoon. Canada Post only offers service and have done this more than once, they suck at providing any decent level of service and I wasted $30 bucks.

An "essential service" should include service. It should also demonstrate that its employees or "service providers" know the procedures and requirements of their jobs. I have spent my morning in the most mindless run-around with the parcel collection service at this location—only to discover that Canada Post's policies and procedures, as they are provided online, are entirely contrary to what I was told in-person, before I was turned away without my package or any suggestion of assistance. This location is a good example why I refuse to use Canada Post when given any other alternative, and frankly one of the worst ways to move any product between destinations in Canada. I have never been given reason to believe Canada Post offers any accountability for their shoddy and dismissive standards; but I would discourage anyone else who may try to do so.
