IT TOOK NEARLY 3 WEEKS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TELL ME THEY WOULD SHIP IT OUT ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AND THAT WAS AFTER I REACHED OUT ABOUT 3X. THEY THEN TOLD ME AGAIN TO WAIT ANOTHER 8-15 DAYS FOR DELIVERY. THEY ALSO TOLD ME I COULD NO LONGER CANCEL DUE TO A WINDOW OF 24 HOURS TO CANCEL EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK MORE THAN A DAY FOR A RESPONSE... THIS COMPANY IS NOT HONEST ABOUT PROCESSING AND DELIVERY AND REFUSES TO REFUND YOU. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRICKS!
They say they send s birthday promotional code for kids, Never recieved any for 3 years, Yes I checked the junk folder too.

I ordered 12 items during their "Black Friday Sale". My order was placed on November 27th. I had received a shipment notification on December 5th, which stated the items were ready for shipment (basically, they printed the shipment labels). December 14th and nothing has arrived. I understand that mail may be slow due to the pandemic and being the holiday season. Though, I have recently ordered from places such as JCPenny and other retail stores and have not experienced issues with shipment or lost/unavailable items. I attempted to contact customer service (which is a huge joke). I waited on hold for over an hour. When I did get a hold of someone they said that my order was "lost" and they would send what items were still available and refund me what I wouldn't be receiving, which is 2 of the 12 items. When I went to the actual site, ALL of the 10 "unavailable" items were still available for purchase (size and colors that I had originally purchased) but not at the 50-70 percent off "black Friday" prices. This was my first experience with Carter's and it will be my last!
For my kids, I am always concerned for the good quality clothes. And this place is great fod kids shopping. It has great clothes. Their sizes are so accurate for new borns. Great customer support.
My mom and I went in to pick up an order for my sister in law. They were having trouble locating the item... finally found it. I looked around for an outfit for my nephew. When I went to the register to buy, the girl who worked there asked for my phone #, which I gave her. She told me she couldn't find me and asked for my phone # again. I told her I had never shopped there before, so I'm not in their system. She said "Ok, but can I have your phone #." Then my mom said "She has never shopped here, so she won't be in your system." The girl then told my mom to stop being rude to her! My mom told her she wasn't being rude, she was just explaining to her. Then the other women working, who I assume is a manager or something said to my mom "You did raise your voice, ma'am" and then took over for the girl & explained that the phone number was for rewards. First of all, not only did the girl not explain why she needed my phone number, but then her customer service was horrible! Who calls or says a customer is being "rude?." Never shopping there again! This was in the West Des Moines location.
Black Friday was my second time shopping online with Carter's. The first time I had my order shipped to the store and it took a whole month and when I got my confirmation email I went in and they couldn't find my order and ended up getting a call three days later to come back into the store and pick it up. Fast forward to Black Friday, it's been 5 days and my order is still in processing. I'm tryibg to call them and have emailed them 3 times with one response basically saying they are getting it ready now (yesterday) and the holiday has made things take more time. Well I still haven't seen any updates on my order and I checked my bank account which had the charge pending since I made my order and now the pending charge isn't even there. I don't know if they cancelled my order or what but I can't get any reliable communication from them and I wish they would just prepare better for the holidays if they know this is going to be an issue. But from my past experience and other revoewers it seems this is their norm. Who knows if I'll even get my order, and if I do if it'll come before Christmas.
First of all I was waiting for a long time at curbside I'd have to call them to tell them I was waiting outside after you click "I'm here". Second well they make me move to the front door to receive my items after online site said to park in the parking space, I didn't mind after receiving my items I realize I was missing to items since there was a promotional on the jeans I purchased buy 1 get 2 free that was the reason I bought a Jean for $30 and after realizing I'd talk to the manager called "cecy" or "cicy" at north Laredo tx she refused to give them to me so I'd had to get down and return the items I purchase since it was incomplete I'd had to leave my two toddlers in the car just to leave the bag that was very inconvenient worst experience ever never had a problem besides I'm a loyal customer

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
