My order hadn't shipped for over 30 days so I sent an email and it was shipped the next day and arrived a few days later. Not sure where the hangup was, but they remedied the situation quickly.

Everything was great EXCEPT the lag and lack of communication leading up to shipment. I don't know if it was my emailed questions that kick-started the process or if it was simply expected that I wait in silence for weeks until it started on its own. We had successfully sourced a cult wine through Cask Cartel. Our local liquor stores don't stock unusual things like Tia Maria, only Kahlua, which lacks any subtlety. They found us two bottles and got them here a week before Christmas. I also found a magnificent and rare bottle of French Calvados (A prized Apple Brandy from Normandy that's magnificent with apple crepes.). These sophisticated treasures arrive very well packaged by air freight. It is a wonderful service and we will be using it often!
I use CC to give bourbon to my brother in law every Christmas. He lives in a very rural area in the South. CC had a good selection at a range of prices, the bottles were wrapped securely and delivery was timely. A+!
