They've raised their prices within the past 5-7 years, so you have to search out the deals and coupons, but their clothes are of a higher quality than most plus sized clothes. It's the best place for extended plus. If you're a regular plus, Kohls has better prices. If you have an issue and need customer service, call, don't web chat.
If there is one thing I know for sure it is that when a Brick&Mortar store was popular and it goes "Online only" and there are LOTS of negative reviews, steer clear. I haven't purchased, nor will I be purchasing anything from Catherines Online. They have more ONE STAR reviews than any well-established store should have. From quality of product, to shipping costs, to returns. Just horrible reviews. No thanks, who needs that headache. BTW the shipping costs really are criminal, just obscene.
Bought a sweater. Never worn, returned it to Catherines in person. Catherines refused a refund. Ditto for 2 pairs of pants. Won't be doing any more shopping at Catherines. Poor quality, more expensive than Amazon, Costco, Walmart Target.

I purchase two swimsuits from Catherine's. They sent a huge size pair of capri's that I DID NOT order! I have called the company 5 times, Was on hold twice for 30 minutes, once for an hour and 15 minutes and was actually hung up on at one point. I have emailed twice. They have yet to respond! Their customer service is awful. They deserve negative stars. I will probably never receive the swim top I ordered or will not be reimbursed because they will not answer the phone or emails! I wished I had read reviews prior to ordering! Save yourself time and money! Do NOT order!

I returned two jackets within days of getting the second (they were ordered together but one came later). One was too big and the other was not the right color so I put them back in their bags and returned them with their own label that they provided. I requested exchange with smaller size/different color. Well, I got a package today and they had returned the same jackets I'd returned to them with note saying it had taken too long! It took a long time for the packages to come, which was a USPS problem I believe, and evidently a long time to get back to them. I've never heard of a store that will not exchange for another size or color or a store credit. What am I supposed to do with wrong size jackets that I won't wear? I'll never shop with them again, ever. Don't waste your money.

I have shopped at Catherine's for years with great satisfaction. When they were taken over everything seemed to be going well. The last month it is completely different. I would always get my ordered in less than 3 weeks. This last order, however, has not even been shipped in more than 3 weeks. I tried calling several times and could not get through without a long wait. Then I tried chat several times and would get error messages they were too busy. A few days later the chat is no longer available. I finally set a day aside that I was going to call and just wait however long I need to. It was an hour and a half. When I finally get through that just read the disclaimer and have no answers at all. I am not sure I will be going back.

If you want a so-called discount, you have to agree to get daily ads online from over a dozen of their stores. I withdrew the permission and have blocked them, but they keep coming.
As for my order of New Balance sneakers, they arrived loose in a carton, taking almost two weeks to arrive. I just called them to please send me the actual box the shoes come in, because that's how I store my shoes. They said they can't do that and I would have to return my shoes and order another pair. Then maybe I could get a box for the shoes. They are out of my size, so how could I do that?
I will never use this company again and can only warn others not to. The aggravation isn't worth it. They just don't seem to care about anything but advertising all of their other online stores.

If I could I would not give any stars. Please do not buy anything at Catherines. Especially if you use their Credit Card Company Comenity Bank. Catherines will not send you your first statement on purpose because Comenity Bank gets to apply a fee of $30 and interest. So both of them make money doing this.

I was sent and charged twice for an order. They refunded the amount of the items, but not the shipping and handling. After many calls and emails, I am about done dealing with them.
I used to shop in the stores, but since they went only online, and merged with other companies, the products don't fit, customer service is a nightmare, and shipping and handling is exorbitant. I requested at least five times to be taken off the mailing list, but the emails won't stop.
Finding a store for big women that isn't associated with Catherine's won't be easy, but I'm determined not to shop there again.

Don't waste your money with this company. Brought a $34.99 bra, terrible quality, off-sized by A LOT. It was supposed to arrive in about seven business days. It took two months to get the item. So, it costs $10.99 to ship and $10.99 to "process" the return of their crappy merchandise. That's $56.97 for an opportunity to purchase a poorly sized, very poor quality item. How they plan to stay in business with this business plan is beyond me. And to top it off, customer service is extremely rude.

I purchased items on 8/21. I paid for express shipping. On 8/23 their site said shipped. Customer service
was unable to give me a tracking number. Finally on 9/2 there was a tracking number on the site. UPS however only said a label was created. This continued until 9/5 when I called customer service. No help at all. They were so rude I hung up. Now, 9/8 I still do not have the items. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company.

I opened a credit card with Catherines. I needed a new card and requested it three times. I never got one. A salesperson talked me into charging. They said I was one day late paying my bill because I sent it through the mail. They shutdown my credit card would not take the late fee off for a person who had spent over $2,000 in one year through other payment methods. They were rude on the phone they lied about not sending me a credit card so that I could manage my account online. I do not buy from them anymore.

Shopped for years in Catherine's stores. Still like products but online shopping is terrible. Take your money and neglect to state product is out of stock. I placed order Aug 21 and now in Oct 21 and still have not received ordered. I returned one order because it was too big. Receipt does not allow to accept smaller size. I paid for overnight delivery. They charge me for overnight delivery. My package arrived several days later. When I went to process a return, it's an order not found, even though the order was showing in my order history. They initially were not going to refund the extra part that I paid for overnight delivery, but they ultimately agreed to credit me a small portion of the extra charge. On top of it all, they charging $9.99 "return label fee. The person I spoke to at customer service treated me like I was trying to beat them out of something when I questioned the return label fee. In looking closely, their return policy does reference a return label fee, but it does not give a price. There is no way I would've ordered something knowing it would cost me $10 to return it. I will NEVER order from this company again

Ordered on 5/28/21, This company took 1 month to ship my order, finally received it on 6/22/21, then I returned the items and they received them on 7/16/21, and as of 8/10/21, I still have not received a refund or a reply from this company. This is the worst company ever, they go under like 10 different names. The will accept your return, but will never refund your money. This company will scam you out of your money. When you try to contact them, you will be on hold for hours and nothing ever gets solved. Do not waste your time, look elsewhere. I learned the hard way.

The customer service of this company is the worse. The people that work for the company are rude and unprofessional. Their policies are ridiculous and out dated. Received a pre approved card offer, along with a 25% off coupon for my first purchase. Coupon code would not work. Called the 800 number, tried for half an hour to resolve the situation, was told to call another number, that office was closed. Shopping online should not be this much work, and I moved on to another shop.

I ordered jeans for my mom in January and was told by email they would ship in February. Received another card in the mail a few weeks later stating that they would not ship now until 3/16. Good thing I am not in a hurry or have it as a gift! So I call their customer service department because now I am getting emails showing these jeans are buy one get one. This would be a huge savings for me but it is only jeans they have in stock. WHAT? You don't have anything in stock! It's all back ordered and on top of all this they will not be expediting my order that they took two plus months to ship when it is available. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I am worried that these will never ship and then they will tell me that it is past the time for any refunds to be issued.

This company charges an arm and a leg for bras that are cheaply made, no support and doesn't fit right even though you tell them the right size you are. I'm very dissatisfied with my purchases plus the recent one my husband purchased.

"Catherines" has evolved into a company with poorly constructed, horribly sized, unusable clothing. I have been a customer for over 15 years and never seen this kind of poor product. Postage/handling is exhorbitant and it will not arrive in less than 6 weeks if it arrives. You can't cancel anything if it gets stuck in "processing". They will send items to you in 3-4 shipments (if you get it) and then you have to pay $9.99 in postage for each package to return items if they don't fit. This seems to be more of a racket to make money off of 'postage and handling' than to provide quality items. Clothing sizes have seemed to change to the LARGE size of what I have expected.

postage for returns is exhorbitant. Postage for shipment doesn't guarantee receipt in less than 6 weeks. Poor customer service.

I used to be a loyal customer and went to their stores any time I could. I even went so far as to get their store card, and I never get store cards. Their clothing was comfortable and I liked it. Then they closed down all their stores and went to online only and it went from being a good experience to profoundly horrific.
Your order will take months, if it arrives at all. And when you ask, you get the same answer "It's coming". Or "It's shipped".
And when you try to call and politely ask what's going on, you get treated like you're garbage. I worked call centers for years, so I'm always doing my best to be polite to call center workers, but this person was VERY impolite. She even swore at me and told me to just "deal with it" and hung up on me. When I called again, I got another very rude customer service rep and so I said "May I please speak with your supervisor?" She said NO and hung up.
If they still had their physical stores, I would simply deal with them, but at this point, I've cut ties with Catherines and I highly recommend all their customers doing the same and going to other stores such as Torrid. Shame, it was a good product, too.

If they would clean up their act, and go back to the high quality service they used to have, I'd love to go back to them. Or reopen their physical stores.

How much insanity would it require to offer a starting salary of $7.25/hour while enthusiastically recommending that work clothing purchased in the store is encouraged when even at the 50% employee discounted rate 1 shirt would cost nearly 3 hours of your time at work? This is the worst kind of extortion and the only employee that would even consider this is someone with NO other choices.

I waited on customer service phone line for 52 min. I sent 5 emails only to receive a mass generated email. I am going to my bank to get my money back. I haven't received any products or service. I suggest you all do the same. I snap shot my phone time while waiting for customer service.

I arranged with Catherine's to return item. Sent item back but they refused my refund. I expect Post Office was its usual slow delivery. Said it arrived after 60 day refund time span. So they have my item and my money. You would think if they sent me return labeling they would honor their agreement. I have put up with their slow times to deliver. So I will also stop shopping at their associated stores, too. One person might not change their policies but maybe they will tick enough people off that will.

Ordered several items on Nov. 30 for a Christmas gift. It is Dec. 20 and no sign of my items, although they've had my money since early December. They tell me I have to wait 10-20 more days to determine if the package is lost or stolen. Really? Ummm... Christmas is Dec. 25! I've called 3 times to get some info, but nothing. How about an email letting me know the status since the delivery date has come and gone!? I had to start over at another store(s) for a plus size "petite" which is hard to find! I am sending my credit card police after Catherines! Hopefully I will get my refund somehow. I would have preferred donating this money to a charity rather than getting ripped off! Very disappointing.
