Deceiving

You people stinks! Ordered dress for event to be recieved within 2 weeks. A month later and it hasn't shipped. Tried cancelling several times, but you wouldn't let me dispite you broke terms and it hasn't even left yet. Wish I could give you a zero

I have spent $1000, s of dollars at Catherines but with that said... I made a purchase online and used a coupon they had sent me. Within a few days I had my item but in that time the price went down $70! I called requesting a simple price adjustment but was informed that because I had used a small coupon I was not entitled to the sale price! I was told to return the purchase and repurchase it... wasting my time for the same results. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... sent the message to me that my loyality as a customer meant nothing. The small $ amt compensation would have made me happy and kept me as a satisfied customer. Shame on you

Bad service!

Ladies! If you order from Catherine's don't. I place a order on September 30 for a swim set for Physical therapy then, was told it was on backorder until December 17th. So I had to find one else where. So I called daily to cancel each time was told it had not been processed in their system. So I couldn't cancel it yet. This morning the swim top was charged to my bank account. I called and talked to a supervisor who said she didn't know why they couldn't cancel before now. NO MORE CATHERINE'S FOR ME.

Scam

I had been a loyal customer of Catherine's and their holding companies of Beatuy Branda for years. They recently started a new return system called Happy Returns...I am not happy. UPS packaged both items together and because of that they claimed they only recieved one. Even with confirmatiom of reciepts, UPS, and Happy returns confirming my 2 items they still will not refund both items. I called and emailed multiple times and on agent told me "too bad." Other agents lied and said my return would show up in 48 hrs. It never did. So now they have my money and their product to resell. They have lost me as a customer forever. If you want to keep your money I suggest you walk away as well.

All items found in stores and on the website are found in Walmart. The 30.00 bedazzled and printed shirts and moo moo dresses were top style for the 80s. They do not have stylish blazers, for the young large size career woman who will need to go from the office to a dinner party. They do have everything a person who enjoyed the late 80s and early 90's.

Update is needed on the retro sweaters. I thought they had everything but a sweater with a animal on it... and there it was..

So, when you call to talk to customer service, you reach someone in India or somewhere, they have a barnyard with ROOSTERS so loud in the background you can't hear them even if you're lucky enough to understand their broken English, and I might add, it sounds like those roosters are in the same room as the customer UNservice. Also, shipping is outrageous, clothes aren't sized right from most of their sister companies, go local, go in person. In handicapped, so I like shopping online. Done with this company.

NEVER RECEIVED BOOTS

My husband bought me a pair of boots never got them the shipped on Jan 3rd stuck in California since the 9th called was told they would arrive Jan 15th nothing called they said call back if you haven't received by 20th called then they said call back on 28th can't refund because they have been shipped they keep saying call back. They are terrible, cheat, scam they should not be able to sell look at all the unsatisfied customers it is really sad. I wont stop until i get the word out Catherines is a horrible store do not waist you time, money and effort they could care less! Thieves!

On 7/15/20 Catherine's withdrew money (47.85) for my product... on 7/17/20 I recieved my product in the wrong size! On 7/18/20 after calling customer service I recieved a $20.00 credit! On7/19/20 Catherine's withdrew (47.70) on my new order on 7/23/20 I recieved my correct order... I also called customer service 7/23/20 spoke to Toloria and said they owed me $$$ had to literally argue for over 30 minutes with them trying to state they owe me NOTHING very disappointing!

I purchased 2 pairs of capris one was black and one was dark jean. The jeans had a terrible smell it smelled like formaldehyde or moth balls? Black pair had no smell?
Black pair made in Vietnam and stinky jean capris made in China. Plus the jeans capris after one wash stunk and the bottom of pants rolling upwards really? My husband said the entire load stinks I know they will not refund my money I am calling head quarters and complaining.
I had a leather pair of shoes made in China and they had same smell. I bought Joy Mangano luggage a year ago and they had same smell one of the reviews said this is a cancer causing chemical that China uses got a refund! Buyer beware! Mad in Brandon Fl...

Clothing colors and prints were garish. Fabrics were of a pool quality. Blouses on hangers still had the fold lines from being packed in boxes. I want my old Catherine's back!

This company is a complete SCAM! I'm not sure where these clothes are 'put together' but it's obvious that they do not know what they are doing. The prices are a JOKE; might look like a great item for a great price - DO NOT BE FOOLED. It's all GARBAGE. By the way, when you return ANYTHING, there is a BS $10.99 restocking fee; seriously? All they have to do is throw it back into the garbage factory. Trying to 'chat' with someone about LATE DELIVERIES - you get an incompetent person who has no clue. Extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and these people obviously have no idea what garbage is being shipped out.

Although I throughly love shopping at Catherine's, online the color I ordered was Bombshell Yellow, the color I received was Schoolbus Yellow. Not what I ordered, so now I have to put gas in my car drive well over 30 miles to exchange this! Maybe I should rent a car and send you the bill, I live on a fixed income, that doesn't mean I want to dress like it. Thank you

Unethical! Everything about my experience rates zero stars. I haven't ever had such mismanaged and rude customer service. I was never allowed to speak, as they incorrectly assumed to know what I needed. They spoke over me and I just gave up. I guess that's what they strive for and I do wish each of them lots of luck in their job search when this company ceases to exist.
Also, the fees charged are so astronomical and unethical that I would never order from here again. The shipping fees are so high, mostly resulting from the 7 (yes, 7) catalogs added to each package, and I do not want even one of them. You pay about $11 - $14 or more just for shipping only 1 item when you order and an additional $10.97 EACH item if you have to return anything. The return shipping label is a mere joke and serves as another money stealing scheme. You could go to FedEx, UPS, or wherever and pay significantly less. In the end, I paid $132 and received a $65 refund. Do not order from Catherine's! I certainly won't!

COMPLETELY Dissatisfied!

I just received a mail order which included a "buy two, get one free" offer. I discovered that only two of the items were shipped and immediately called customer service. They stated that I should have added three items to my cart for check out and the third item would have been free. I explained that that the directions were vague and it appeared that the "system" would add the third item at checkout. I'm an intelligent woman and long term Catherines customer, and tried to make them understand their language was unclear / misleading. When I inquired about what they could to do correct the situation, I was told that because the promotion code was no longer being offered they could not help me. WHAT! I then asked what else could be done to make this right. Again, they were unwilling to find a fix. If Catherine's as a business is unwilling to work with the customer, then customers will leave, period. This isn't rocket science, get someone at the call centers who have decision making abilities and empower them to make things right. We lovely plus size ladies have options, and away I go to the Avenue.

Cheaply made

I bought a pair of pants and wore them 1 time, for about 2 hours and got home and the back seam was coming undone in about 4 different places. I took the pants and receipt back to the store, showed the back seam to the lady and how it was coming undone. She said I could not return or exchange them because I wore them. I WILL NOT GO BACK.

A day late and a dollar short
July 11, 2021

I placed an online order on June 27 for a swimsuit cover up for my mother, In hopes that it would arrive on or before July 9. I checked my email and the item hasn't been shipped yet. I called to cancel the order and was told I CAN NOT cancel the order. I was told my only option is to wait to receive the item and then return it. Not only will I never order anything else from them, I'm asking them to make their delayed shipment policy VISIBLE AND CLEAR! DO NOT ORDER FROM CATHERINES IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS WITHIN A MONTH!
