I purchase two swimsuits from Catherine's. They sent a huge size pair of capri's that I DID NOT order! I have called the company 5 times, Was on hold twice for 30 minutes, once for an hour and 15 minutes and was actually hung up on at one point. I have emailed twice. They have yet to respond! Their customer service is awful. They deserve negative stars. I will probably never receive the swim top I ordered or will not be reimbursed because they will not answer the phone or emails! I wished I had read reviews prior to ordering! Save yourself time and money! Do NOT order!
I have ordered many things from Catherines and the other lines they are now attached to, but now the shipping costs are cost prohibitive. I made up an order for $100 and the shipping would have been $20! That's not worth it.
I have shopped at Catherine's for years with great satisfaction. When they were taken over everything seemed to be going well. The last month it is completely different. I would always get my ordered in less than 3 weeks. This last order, however, has not even been shipped in more than 3 weeks. I tried calling several times and could not get through without a long wait. Then I tried chat several times and would get error messages they were too busy. A few days later the chat is no longer available. I finally set a day aside that I was going to call and just wait however long I need to. It was an hour and a half. When I finally get through that just read the disclaimer and have no answers at all. I am not sure I will be going back.
When Catherines actually had stores it was a good place to shop, but since the have gone to online only they have gone to hell in a handbasket. I placed orders on 4/4/21 and 4/16/21 paying $18.99 and 8.99 in shipping. I recieved one confirmation letter for the larger order and the order clearly states to allow 1-2 for processing and 7-12 business days for shipping. As of 5/3/2021 I still do not have those orders. I called to check on them and was told one shipped 4/30 and the other 5/1 and to allow 20 days to receive the orders from the day they shipped as stated on the website. I pointed out the fact that was different than what my confirmation email stated and requested a refund on shipping since they failed to make their order processing and shipping time frame. The rep refused this request and so did the supervisor I asked to speak with. I was given an Executive of Communications phone #*******168. When you call this phone number you get a recording saying their hours of operations which are Mtn time and I was calling while they should be open, and then told to leave a msg. It is pretty clear this company is in financial trouble, doesn't care about it's customers, and will not honor what they state in emails.
Stay far away from this company I wished I read the reviews first. After a month of my order being placed I received my order with one of the items wrong. I now have to ship back the wrong item before they will ship out my correct item and that can take up to 5 weeks. Meanwhile I will have to pay for the item before I even receive it. No compensation for my trouble. Customer service is no help. I had called them 2 other times to check on this order and ask for a price adjustment since it did not ship. They would not make adjustments and the delivery was late.
I have been a loyal shopper for years- no more! I ordered in 4/9 was supposed to arrive in 7-12 business days. It is now 4/27 - no shipment. I started with the site - it said processed but not shipped- started calling last weekend - took three tries waiting 45 min or more to get someone to answer - they told me to be patient - argh - then again this past weekend when I hung up after an hr on hold - whatever they send is going back! Such a shame but now I understand why they had to file for bankruptcy. Stay away from them -it will make you crazy!
I ordered a package of womens underwear on 4/7/21 and as of today 4/26/21 (21 days later) I do not have my package. Customer service tells me I choose the CHEAP delivers service the U.S.A. postal Service...$14.99 for a small package of nylon underwear. Customer Service says it is not them... she said the post office doesn't work on Saturday and Sunday. That's news to me. I have Saturday delivery here. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM CATHERINES UNLESS HELL FREEZES OVER.
I've been waiting for an order for over a month! I am leaving for Vacation tomorrow and don't have the bathing suit or shoes I ordered for my trip. I'm livid! This is the last time they will get my business. A month is more than enough time for ship 5 items. Covid excuse is pretty worn out.
I paid for overnight delivery. They charge me for overnight delivery. My package arrived several days later. When I went to process a return, it's an order not found, even though the order was showing in my order history. They initially were not going to refund the extra part that I paid for overnight delivery, but they ultimately agreed to credit me a small portion of the extra charge. On top of it all, they charging $9.99 "return label fee. The person I spoke to at customer service treated me like I was trying to beat them out of something when I questioned the return label fee. In looking closely, their return policy does reference a return label fee, but it does not give a price. There is no way I would've ordered something knowing it would cost me $10 to return it. I will NEVER order from this company again
Placed an order on 3/31/21, still has not shipped no ship day known! But have already took my $ out of my Acct! Held 1 hour 45 mins to find out no known ship date!
There really should be an option for zero stars. If you order anything from catherines, chances are you won't get them. Grant it, I did not pay for them, not until I would have received them, but to continually recieve messages via email and regular mail, stating that said items were on backorder just to wait another month and get another message that the items are still on backorder. Recently, I recieved a note telling me to send an email or call, if I still wanted the items sent or they would be cancelled. They would contact me in the order they received the email. If you call, you'll either be on hold indefinitely or there is no answer. Absolutely horrible customer service. Well, today I get this short response via email saying they had cancelled the order and sorry for the inconvenience. Again, the items had not been paid for yet. However, they should not have strung me along for weeks and weeks on end in the hopes that I would receive the jeans. Like I said in the response email, you cannot run a business this way and expect it to continue. What it boils down to is this. There is no honesty within this company anymore. When the physical stores were still open, you didn't have to pull teeth to get the items you wanted. For shame. Anyone who reads this and all negative reviews, please, ere on the side of caution with this company. You will be disappointed.
I used to love Catherine's. In the store and online. Since they merged they are no longer the Catherine's I knew. Two orders of mine are still not shipped, after two weeks. Talking to costumer service was a waste of time. I've sent an email, no response. I did cancel my Catherine's credit card, since I won't be shopping there again, glad I charged my MC instead. So disappointed.
I was a loyal customer for years, no more. I ordered 440.00 of clothes, paid 44.00 in shipping fees and 3 weeks later, I have not receive anything even an explanation. Don't do it.
Orders not being processed, much less shipped, after 2 weeks; order placed and not showing up in account even after several days; 70 minutes on the phone today trying to sort out when my orders will ship ended up with being transferred back into the queue after being told there was an issue with "credit." This is bs as I paid with a debit card and it still hasn't made it's way to my bank account, in which there is more than ample money to cover the expense. But wait, the same debit card has been used time and again by Catherine's with no problem. So, the transfer back to the phone queue was clearly to get me off the phone because no one knows what the hell they're doing. I've been a Catherine's customer, in-store and online, for many years - 15? Up to now, my experiences were always very satisfying. No more money for them now!
Their customer service is a joke and shouldn't be allowed to label itself as any type of service for customers. Evidently your order doesn't show up on their site as existing until it is shipped (which can take weeks). Not knowing this little tidbit of information, I freaked that the order I placed for my sister's birthday present didn't exist. Even when I typed in the order # that I had screen grabbed it still said it didn't exist. Of course I immediately reordered it - thinking perhaps I forgot to hit the place order button.
Well, long story short (too late) I finally got an email stating my 1st order had shipped so I called up the company to cancel the second order that I placed only 2 days earlier and shows it doesn't exist on the website. Their response, too bad so sad we can't help you. They couldn't even contact the warehouse to see if the order had started processing. Oh, but if I wanted to email the company I could and someone might be able to help me...
There are way too many companies out their that cater to the big and beautiful women of this world, I don't need to give my clothing budget to Catherine's or any of the subsidiaries attached to the Catherine's website.
No wonder they are out of business. They sent me a 40% off and when I placed my order, it didn't take off the 40%. I called 15 minutes later and they said they couldn't do anything about it. NEVER WILL I SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN AND WILL BE RETURNING MY ORDER.
I ordered a pair of pants on 2/19, they shipped on 2/23. It's now 3/17 and no delivery. One "tracking" link leads to a non-existant FedEx number; another says it's been waiting for USPS since 3/2. Emails to their "customer service" have yielded ZERO information, just "we apologise, be patient." I will be calling my credit card to dispute this charge. I will never, ever purchase anything from them again. SO disappointed
I have shopped at Catherines for years and years. I had about 50 pair of their knit pull on jeans that were so comfortable to wear. I thought I was ordering the same thing a few weeks ago and they sent me these pull on jeans, but they are not knit and the material is like sandpaper. I am so disappointed in the product that i don't intend to shop there anymore. I am not a customer who complains but these are beyond disgusting to me.
1. Crappy overpriced merchandise.
2. I have asked dozens of times to be unsubscribed from daily unwanted emails; they won't comply.
3. They don't have an email address.
4. The 'contact us' form does not send.
5. No one EVER answers the chat. Even though I am in que position 1.
