I'm so confused on why Cheap Caribbean is getting such a low rating. We have booked so many times with no issues. Many different resorts, many did destinations. All great easy experiences. Most importantly you can't beat the pricing. Trust me we've looked all around. Try it. You won't regret it!
My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer two weeks after we booked a trip with Cheap Caribbean so we had to try and change or cancel our trip. No option to change and no refund option, spent $4,00 on the trip and received $1,200 in future credits. If you have other booking options, I suggest using another provider, what an awful experience during difficult time. Do better Cheap Caribbean.
Be more accommodating with regards to customer service during COVID-19. After at least six phone calls with customer service from March 2021 - September 2021, you offered to extend our $876 travel credit on from our reservation code, 43M000CJ, from 21 August 2021 to 31 December 2021. Instead, you gave us the big runaround and reneged on the offer, citing the company policy line. You have lost a customer.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Cancun Mexico and we had the most amazing time! Everything was so easy with cheap Caribbean including payments, flights, and transportation to and from the resort. I was a little nervous because of all the negative comments online but guys when I tell you everything was smooth! Once payment is complete they send you all confirmation #'s and detail instructions (itinerary) about your travel. We had no problems. As far as the resort it was absolutely beautiful we stayed at secrets the vine and it was simply amazing. I do encourage everyone to do your own research when it comes to selecting your resort. I read a lot of comments about the resort don't look like the pictures. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! Once you find a resort on cheap Caribbean.com leave their site and google the resort, and search for reviews. Also, check out YouTube videos! Lots of people on YouTube have already traveled to these places and can give you the real deal on how the resort looks. Overall, our experience was a 10 out of 10 and I will be booking our next trip through cheap Caribbean again.

I booked a trip and the trip protection plus at 5:10 pm on April 24th. I tried to cancel it all day on April 25th through their website which said that it was temporarily unavailable. Then I was able to chat with an agent through the website who could do nothing except tell me to call the 800 #. When I finally reached a live person to cancel it was 6:40 pm on April 25th. They said I missed the 24-hour cancellation time frame and would not provide a refund. Even though the reason it did not cancel on time was due to their website and chat agent who couldn't help me. I canceled the very next day and they kept my deposit for doing nothing.

I don't usually write reviews or say I'm never doing something again, but I'm never booking w/ you guys again! And I will make sure my family and friends do the same! You guys have the worse customer service I have ever experienced! Your associates are always disconnecting calls after putting customers on hold for long, long extended periods of time and never doing what they "promise" or "guarantee". I have a credit of $288.86 from a trip booked in 2020. Booked a new trip on Jan 29 2022, well ahead of my deadline to use my credits, and not only were they not applied to my trip after notes clearly say they should, they are now telling me I don't even have any credits! I mean you guys are really just going to steal almost $300? This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. Not only will I be leaving negative reviews everywhere that I can find, I will also be contacting the Bureau of Better Business! Me and my family and friends have booked 5 or 6 trips with you, but moot anymore. This was it! After talking to numerous customer service agents over the past couple years, and being placed on long holds each time to be hung up on and given false promises and guarantees, I will make sure everyone I know, knows how I was treated and to not book with you guys ever again! As a company, you should strive for excellence and you have not even come close!

We have booked with Cheap Caribbean in the past. Will NEVER do it again. Booked 8 rooms for 5 families at Dream Sands Cancun. WORST experience EVER! We all left and are still awaiting our refunds a month later. Three hour hold times with Cheap Caribbean and that is if they do not disconnect you all together. Save yourself some heartache and book directly with the hotels and airlines. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO BOOK IN CANCUN. TOO many options. When we moved to another property and booked directly with them, it was actually cheaper also.

I will never be using Cheap Caribbean's services again. Their customer service team is almost impossible to get a hold of, and their shuttle service - Amstar - did not have a vehicle for us at the airport so we had to take a $200 taxi and were told that we would be reimbursed via Cheap Caribbean. This never happened - they said they will only issue us a credit that we need to use in 13 months. As if I want to use a service that didn't deliver the first time? And they refused a refund. DON'T BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

Booked a trip months ago through this company. Have 3 of us traveling. Passport didn't come so 2 of us had to argue but was able to get a date change for the hotel/resort however 1 of us is still fighting in spite of an email from the actual hotel- resort saying they would change the date to accommodate us. But needed the request to come from the scam company Cheap Caribbean Instead they claim their entitled to over $1500 for the one passenger because he isn't permitted to change ( but the 2 of us at same place same time same company was able to change the dates.)
I am an a lawyer who is already started drafting a lawsuit to obtain either the money back or have the date pushed back like the other 2 travelers. I will seek punitive damages as their behavior is beyond egregious! I have spent over 10 hours trying to get this rectified. My time is valuable and I do charge hourly. They clearly don't care about any customers and need to be hit hard with a huge money judgement. ( Apple Leisure Group is the owner of this place) This Corporation has plenty of funds to pay damages for this none-sense and they hell they put us through. Thanks for all your help I will have a nice trip but I will see you in the fall. Bank on it. I won't stop till this is fixed!

We have booked multiple times in the past with cheap Caribbean without issues. Unfortunately, we will never be booking with them again due to their shady tactics, misleading credit policies, and poor customer service.
We had to cancel a trip that we had booked due to the pandemic in 2020. When we attempted to get refunded, cheap Caribbean offered 20% additional value if we would take a credit instead of being refunded. They said we would be able to use it to just book flights, and that the credit was valid for a trip that we could book up until December of 2021. Unfortunately we made the mistake of not getting this in writing, and took the credit instead of refund. Recently when we tried to use this nearly $700 of credits, were told that we had to use the credit for a trip that we had to take by December 2021. There was zero customer service/empathy and they would not provide any extension for this when we had explained that the previous customer service rep last year had assured us that we could book the trip by December for a trip next year. They basically have stolen our money ($700) after convincing us to take the credit last year instead of a refund. Shame on them!
We will never be booking with them again.

This is my second year in a row family of 15 people vacation booked via cheap Caribbean.com but this time so much more disappointed than last year.
I always end up paying so much more in group rate than listed online price. This time I called to book 5 rooms for 14 people. They hold flight so we get accommodated in same flights with paying more than online listed price as there is no such a thing as group rates. We booked 4 rooms one at a time and made payments for each room as we booked. As we got the last room left to booked, this agent tells me that all rooms are booked and only room available is with upgrade which would cost $160 per person more. They can hold the flights but not the rooms, agent knew before we started booking that I needed 5 rooms. I had no choice but to spend $800 more because other 4 rooms were booked already unless I leave my dad and kids behind who's room was the last one to be booked... nice way to screw people up and make money. This will be my last trip through cheap Caribbean.com. I spoke with supervisor but they don't care, very poor customer service.
Customer service is the worst. I planned a trip with my family and it was so far the worst vacation ever! I spent almost $8,000 on a 4 day vacation and everything from start to finish was a disaster. I called and emailed cheapcaribbean MULTIPLE times. They took my case and took MONTHS (to review it) for me to get an email that they did NOTHING and I will not be getting anything back. I could write a book about this experience - but long story short- DONT USE THEM! Would NEVER recommend. And cheap caribbean- please dont reply to this with you BS that I should email you because i did 100 times and you dont bother getting back to me.

We stayed at Oleo Cancun Playa for a week. Staff is lovely. Food is wonderful (Mediterranean and Asian restaurants are amazing). Resort is beautiful, rooms are huge, pools are clean (need to get to pool before 8 am to get one of the very limited lounges). Beach is clean. DO NOT take the Isla Mujeres/Snorkel Tour offered at the Hotel. Our catamaran slowly motored to island. Stopped in rough water off the island to snorkel for less than 10 minutes, being led like children in lines around other snorkelers, surrounded by their big boats. Buffet lunch was cafeteria food, drinks watered down, with 'waiters' putting tip cups on the table. The "private beach" had limited lounges that were all torn up, canopy was torn, construction tape and construction trucks working. Beach was very crowded with boats too close. The shop owners were everywhere trying to get your attention, it was like being attacked by bees. And after that we were taken to ANOTHER shopping area. It was exhausting. Slow motoring back to Cancun. $250 per couple. Save your money!

Please do NOT book with Cheap Caribbean! We booked a trip in January 2022 for April 28th 2022. Everything was ok at first we paid, got our hotel details, flight reservations, conformation emails. We show up to the airport the day of our trip and find out there were no flights to Cancun that day in fact Frontier airlines stated this flight didn't even exist. We called Cheap Caribbean immediately from the airport and they were clueless and couldn't resolve the issue. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them and every time I call I talk to someone new who has no clue about my situation and have to explain it all over again. As many times as I've called and talked to someone you would think someone would know what is going on and could resolve this issue but NOTHING. Frontier airlines refunded our money back in a timely manner. However, they had to refund it back to Cheap Caribbean since we booked through them and yet Cheap Caribbean still hasn't even gave us our flight money back. We paid a total of 1,375 for this trip. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I've sent numerous emails as well and have received no responses. We are now seeking legal action! Please take my advice and save your time, energy and money and book somewhere else.

This company is AWFUL and their customer service is even worse.
We have had several bad experiences purchasing on cheap Caribbean and last one we booked a room on cheap Caribbean and my family on Expedia.com. I arrived and got the economy crappy room and my family who were smart to use Expedia received a normal room.
I complained to the manager and even he was comparing cheap Caribbean to Expedia saying that cheap Caribbean was inferior to Expedia. Shortly after he threatened to have me physically removed from the hotel which I had never encountered in my life. This happened at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Cancun which I would never recommend unless you want to have a bad experience.
I then complained to cheap Caribbean or Apple leasure group and they responded that they investigated and basically putting the blame on me.
Never use Cheap Caribbean no matter how good their price may be because you get what you pay for and this group does clearly not believe in customer service or customer satisfaction.
They ruined my family's trip and my mom's 80 year birthday and my anniversary.

We booked on cheap Caribbean for the pyramid at the grand oasis Cancun. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! We experienced major issues from start to finish on our trip. My best friend and I decided to book this together and we specifically booked 2 beds, upon arrival they told us they only had a room with one king size bed available.
We then ventured up to our room and upon entering smelled the strongest Gasoline aroma in our room. An open container of gasoline had been left open in our room. We had to move out of that room an into a different room. Next, we tried to go enjoy the pools and amenities as advertised, except the entire resort was overtaken with kids on Spring break. Be especially careful not to book this "adults only" resort during college spring break season. Your trip will not be relaxing or fun. We purchased an all-inclusive alcohol package and despite the fine print saying "all gratuity included" we couldn't even use it because of the 30+ minute wait at each bar. Service staff at restaurants were the only part with great service, but we still wouldn't return. Way too expensive for what was provided. We expected a calm beach vacation and we got MTV spring break.

We booked a reservation with flights from Minneapolis in July. In November I received a promotion and am moving to FL. I requested to change our flights from MPLS to Orlando. They quoted me an additional $1100 for the flights. They did not offer any credit for the existing flight claiming I am cancelling my reservation. They asked me to provide the flights I wanted. I picked a flight from Orlando form their own website. They said those flights were unavailable.
Their replies via email are nonsensical. Here is a direct copy of their first reply:
We would like to tell you that you can change your origin place from Minneapolis to Orlando with some additional amount. We are sorry to tell you that at this moment flights can't be confirmed. The reason can be the such amount of days. So we would request you to contact us after some time with the preferred Airlines.
What on earth is that? Anyhow, I gave them the preferred flights I had to search for myself and they still said they weren't available. Do yourself a favor and don't use this company.

We had travel credits with Cheap Caribbean for four from a cancelled trip last year due to covid. I carefully researched the trips we were planning and "knew" what they would cost. After significant time on the phone to book the trip I was given a total that significantly more costly than what I had researched.
Unfortunately, I had spent too much time on the phone (because their reservation process is cumbersome, at best) and I had to go to work. But, I was unclear that what was happening was an unchangeable reservation.
For the life of me, I do not understand why their reservation agents would see different prices than what is posted on their website. Unless it is to capture the extra cash flow from idiots like me. I'm now stuck spending hundreds more. It seems to me that their post-covid business model is to trick people who have outstanding credits into spending more than they had planned to.
So clearly, I've made two mistakes. My last mistake was I failed to understand what their agent was explaining to me in her broken English. But my first mistake was booking through Cheap Caribbean at all. You can bet that it will not happen again.
Now I'm stuck. Pay them more or lose all my credits. To make it even worse, I can't get anyone to let me know the balance owed so I can pay it. When I go to the reservation it only shows the totals, because for some reason their system will not apply the credits yet.

I usually don't go out of my way to write a negative review, but I fill this is warranted. Do not buy Travel Protection Plus through Cheap Carribean, it is not worth it! I was on the phone for 2 hours to cancel 1 person of 15 people for a refund (travel credit). In order to "refund you" they have to rebook everyone involved in your reservation. If the price has gone up for your vacation, you could pay more to cancel! I was told that if we cancel the one person, our trip will increase $400 overall but he couldn't give me a "refund" amount until we canceled and rebooked. We would have to roll the dice to see if the refund was going to warrant the extra price. So needless to say, we paid an extra $80pp (X15) for this protection and that we are taking a risk to use. BIG SCAM! Buyer beware, the information they give you for this protection does not explain any of this!

Tommy B fron Cheap Caribbean has been available for vacation recommendations, feedback and suggestions for years. My wife and I are returning to our honeymoon spot in Aruba (Manchebo) with our 8 year old daughter and Tommy hooked us up. He is who we used many years ago and is just as helpful in helping us plan our Caribbean vacation for this summers trip. My wife anil I have been to over 8 Caribbean islands, including Bora Bora last year and although we live in CA we love the Caribbean. Anyway, Tommy always goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend Cheap Caribbean and Tommy for all of your vacation needs.
Upon a reservation being canceled within 24 hours the company would not refund, credit or honor a trip. They charged in full and provided no assistance, honor or guarantee for their services.

What happened to this company? I used them before and all was fine, not this time.
They upsold me on my airfare saying it included 1 checked bag each. They lied! The call was recorded.
They sold me luxury transportation to and from the airport to the resort. It was a cramped little van. They lied. The call was recorded.
Then they denied both. Then they would not answer calls. Hold times are an hour or more but at the end of that time you are still on hold. The international toll free number is not toll free.
You email and they send a reply that ignores what you say.
I started trying to get this fixed at the airport waiting for my plane out after paying again for luggage and kept trying all week of my vacation. The day before I am to leave they email me saying they are referring me to "post travel" customer service. Hey there, I'm still in Mexico for another day and a half! Fix it before I leave please?

We get here, and its 4th floor. My husband is terrifed of heights. The resort had to correct them, that they booked me wrong. They REFUSE to fix this. They sold me a Cadillac and we got a pinto.
