I'm so confused on why Cheap Caribbean is getting such a low rating. We have booked so many times with no issues. Many different resorts, many did destinations. All great easy experiences. Most importantly you can't beat the pricing. Trust me we've looked all around. Try it. You won't regret it!
My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer two weeks after we booked a trip with Cheap Caribbean so we had to try and change or cancel our trip. No option to change and no refund option, spent $4,00 on the trip and received $1,200 in future credits. If you have other booking options, I suggest using another provider, what an awful experience during difficult time. Do better Cheap Caribbean.
I had a vacation planned to Cozumel in the spring of 2020 with Cheap Caribbean. When covid hit, it was cancelled. CC got all their money back from the airlines and resort, but would not reimburse me for the full amount. I had to file the insurance claim, which only paid back 75%. Crooks!
We are now up to (12) calls to cheap carribean regarding our trip cancellation travel credit. Originally they told us we would get information on our credits in (2) days, then that was changed to a few weeks, then changed to "in the weeks ahead", and now "at the end of the billing cycle". It has now been (2) months since trying to cancel our trip. They have charged us a $200 penalty for canceling along with $300 cancelation fee from the hotel and won't give us our remaining credit. We get responses from their "social team" regarding our complaints, but they only blow more smoke telling us again to wait ever longer. We are now looking into what legal action is available to us.

What a scam. Booked an 8 day all inclusive trip with three rooms. Upon arrival we were told that 2 rooms were at one resort and the third at another resort. We cancelled the one room and had to make use of the two rooms at the resort we paid to stay at. Then we were told we are not all inclusive which added another 3 thousand dollars on our trip. Stood three hours at the front desk on the phone trying to resolve something to be told we have to pay for the all inclusive that was supposed to be already paid for. Then cheap Caribbean had the audacity to tell us they would give us a discounted all inclusive rate which was the same price as the resort offered. Total scam. I'm not sure how they sleep at night.

This was the worst agency to deal with. They canceled our flight 2x and every time we tried to reach out they kept us on hold for hours! The worst customer service. Take your money elsewhere, it's not worth it.

In January 2020 we booked a trip for June 2020 and purchased the additional trip insurance. Due to covid-19 CheapCaribbean ended up having to cancel the flights. Since the destination is an island that's the only way we could get there. We spend hours upon hours contacting CheapCaribbean. They finally did a partial refund but told us we would have to contact TripMate for the insurance portion. After months of each company pointing us back to the other we were finally told to dispute with the credit card company. I'm sure they are aware credit credit companies will not do anything that long after the purchase. We are out close to $400 and will never do business with CheapCaribbean ever again.
The site is ok, but it doesn't keep your preferences, like where you want to fly out from. How many nights you want to stay. When you search for a place to go and then click on a resort and back out, all your preferences are set back to the default and you need to start over. Very annoying.

I just want to leave here a positive experience that I had with CheapCaribbean. I had a devastating circumstance come up in my life and I needed to cancel a vacation that I had already paid for in full. My money was returned to me within 5 days. The rep was very empathetic. I had a wonderful experience with this cancellation; and I thought I would share, based on all the negative experiences I have seen posted about this company.

Horrible experience. Rep incorrectly processed my travel credit causing me to miss trips that were fairly priced. Once credits were fixed I ended up owing more out of pocket for same location and LESS ADULTS traveling. Make it make sense. The staff are limited in basic critical thinking skills and seem to follow scripts. The Support team never return calls. No one tried to compensate me for the hours spent on the phone or the errors made to my acct. I will never use them again. They deserve a ZERO. Every time I call I hang up with a migraine and high BP. I currently have acted it I don't even want to use bcus of their BS!

Booked a Jamaican trip a month or two before with cheap Caribbean and it was the worse experience I ever experienced. First off they never gave us a travel form athorization email to prepare for it. Then after completing the forms we all get approved except for my 18 month son, which doesn't make any sense, then to top it off they want to charge a cancel fee when it wasn't a cancel it was the rejection of a baby. I will fight to the end before I let them rob me. Be careful out there think I just got scammed.

Cheap Caribbean has the worst customer service I have had to deal with in a long time. They made an error and took absolutely no responsibility for that. I booked three rooms (1-Me/Husband; 2-My son/girlfriend; 3-Daughter/Boyfriend.) Instead, they only booked two of them, my children, NOT US WHO PAID FOR THE TRIP!). When they were notified, they took no actions to rectify the situation. The hotel found another room for us, but stated we may have to switch the next day. Which I think is ridiculous, having to unpack, repack, unpack again. Especially after paying $12,000 for this trip. They also made an error with the $500 excursion I pre-booked. They said we took the trip when we weren't even in the country.
They tried to put the blame back on the hotel. But of course the hotel pushed it back onto Cheap Caribbean since we booked our trip through them. The hotel tried to compensate us with entrance to a private beach area. But by the time this was given as an option? We were unable to use it since we had day excursions. And we were given priority to reserve the special restaurants. But of course, that was also messed up since the only booked two of us not the six of us as they knew.
If you want to spend five hours waiting on hold and being disconnected several times along with getting the runaround? Then this must be the company for you. I will never use this company ever again. And I'll make sure everyone I know hears about it.

I had a flight cancelled and the airlines be refunded cheap Caribbean. I have been waiting over a month to get my refund from them. Every time I call I get terrible customer service and the story changes every call. I will never use this service again, Expedia offers the same prices and service.

In June 2021, I booked a trip to DR for May 2022. I received confirmation from Cheap Caribbean and Delta. We leave in 10 days so I went to Delra.com to prints documents. Everything came us with exclamation marks and red. At some point, all our flights changed and now none of them connect... both ways! I called Delta, 3.5 hours later was told Cheap Caribbean has to fix as they are not paid until flight has commenced. Called Cheap Caribbean but they were closed. I emailed them and got a email saying sorry for inconvenience, we want to let you know delta has made changes to your flights. NO changes can be made as it is within 8 days of travel and you don't have travel insurance. Seriously?! This is not a issue with travel insurance. Flights changed at some point and nothing was done to fix nor was I notified. I will be calling again at 7am. They are my booking agent, they need to fix this.

I'm calling them con artists because the representatives just tell you what you want to hear before you purchase…whether it's the truth or not. I purchased travel protection from them that permits you to cancel for any reason. When one of my party could not go, I tried to recover the cost of her trip and they told me I could not because nobody canceled her spot on the trip. This was not true as I was the one who canceled for her and once I sent them proof that I canceled prior to the trip, they changed their story and then asked for a doctors note. I explained that I purchased the travel protection with can cancelations for any reason. They still would not honor my travel protection. Regardless of this, their representatives are not truthful when selling you a vacation package. I had to upgrade my resort at the last minute because I came to find that many things that the representative that helped me book the trip, lied s out many things.

Had an issue with the transportation from the airport to the hotel I had booked through cheap Caribbean. I was never able to get proper help as the issue kept going to different agents who would never read the initial context. Was a time sucker and a frustrating experience.

I was provided inaccurate information in regards to my trip credit. I was told I had until July to book my trip with my credit, when I called to book a new trip they said that it expired and it was noting they could do, even after I've paid over $1000 for my trip. They wont respond to any emails, nor do their agents know their policy. I would NOT RECOMMEND this site for any booking. It was very unprofessional and I'm currently looking to start a legal case against this company. No customer should lose out on money if services weren't provided.

Our flight to Jamaica was cancelled, and Cheap Caribbean will not give us a full refund. The other couple going with us booked with Expedia and is getting a full refund. Know who I will be booking with next time.

My husband and I have wasted multiple days and multiple hours each of those days getting the run around from Cheap Carribean. We paid for a trip cancelled because of Covid, and now trying to use credits has been an absolute nightmare. We cannot use the website, instead have to call a customer service rep to get it booked. Have attempted it now 3 times and each time has been over 2-3 hours on the phone with nothing booked. Each time is a different excuse with no actual result, just their hope we will hang up. Never ever will use this site again and will tell every friend and family how horrible it is.

My wife and I booked a jamacia vacation but then Covid hits cheap Caribbean cancels vacation and here it is now that won't refund our money the credits they say we need to use by June 30 of 2022 which is unexceptionable so they just keep our money and out $800 very bad business, can't use the credits in the U.S. because cheap Caribbean had nothing in the U.S. what a scam never use them again. Then on phone for 2 hours and can't understand the person we are talking to.

Basicaly i purchased a vacation and two extras. The two extra were cancelled. I ask for refund and cheapcarribean says they see it non cancelled and therefore it is not refundable. For $#*! sake. They cancelled on me. Give me my money. Do not trust them they take your money and give you zero guarrantee... In my world it s called fraud.

This company is horrible. When the whole nation is being effected by the virus this company only cares about how to hold peoples money in their pocket. I made a deposit for a trip and wanted to get refund due to the fact all trips are canceled due to caronavirus. But all they said please pay remaining of balance and call 72 hours before to resxheule trip. But i cant due that because i was going on trip for a wedding that was also canceled cause of the virus, the lovely couple decided to make a wedding with just them two because of no social gathering request from the goverment.
They are not human and dont care what is happening in the world, i hope people will treat you the same way once this nightmare is over and completely boycott this company.
I paid for a trip to Aruba to celebrate my 29th anniversary. We boarded the plan in Atlanta and the reservation off boarded us off the plane in Philadelphia. I called several times to get the itinerary changed. The representative refused to make the changes without $800 more dollars. I asked to speak with a manger. I was left on hold for about an hour. When the representative returned, I was informed he couldn't find a manger. Our flight was changed from Monday to Tuesday. We missed an excursion because of our late arrival. We did receive a refund, but no opportunity to speak with any one from cheap Caribbean. Our email went ignored. I wouldn't recommend them if you want to have a stress free vacation.
