I'm so confused on why Cheap Caribbean is getting such a low rating. We have booked so many times with no issues. Many different resorts, many did destinations. All great easy experiences. Most importantly you can't beat the pricing. Trust me we've looked all around. Try it. You won't regret it!

My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer two weeks after we booked a trip with Cheap Caribbean so we had to try and change or cancel our trip. No option to change and no refund option, spent $4,00 on the trip and received $1,200 in future credits. If you have other booking options, I suggest using another provider, what an awful experience during difficult time. Do better Cheap Caribbean.

They will put you on hold forever. They will work with you for 45 min then tell you they can't help you and they'll need to transfer you, sending you on a wild goose chase. They will refuse to let you talk to a supervisor and the email that they say you should email with concerns? That doesn't actually go anywhere and you won't get any response to your complaint. RUN as far away from this website as you can!

DO NOT USE this site! You will be sad and anxious about your purchase and they will be of no help!

I'd like to acknowledge that Cheap Caribbean customer service was amazing! Fast response, The woman I spoke to was so kind and accomodating. I was able to reschedule my booking for a small fee even though my itinerary said no cancelations or changes. So glad I didn't lose all that money! Thank you!

I booked a vacation for my husband and I through Cheap Caribbean on 6/28/21 costing $3,334.48. Due to covid restrictions at the vacation destination and covid outbreaks at home we had to cancel the trip. The airline refunded Cheap Caribbean and the hotel was never booked. However cheap Caribbean is refusing to refund us our money for a trip we cannot take. Additionally their online FAQ states we cannot give our trip to other individuals as a "travel credit " but be used by the original buyers. We are unable to use our credit for various reasons including covid. We want a full refund as we do not believe cheap Caribbean should be pocketing our money for a trip we cannot take for something out of our hands, in addition to the fact that the vendors/ resorts are not booked. Another complaint was filed with the BBB for the same reason.

Use caution and read everything. Avoid it if you can!!

Two problems:

1. I am based in Canada and the payments page DID NOT show any currency until after the payment went through which then I realized was in USD. I payed way more than expected but decided to let it go.

2. I got COVID at the last minute and tried to call to cancel. I was ok with not getting a refund and instead getting a credit. On the website, it doesn't state ANY dollar amount about the penalties. I called and they tell me if I cancel today, the total cost of penalties will be $800 and if I cancel tomorrow it will be $1200. I paid $1500 for the trip. It not my fault I got COVID. Why I am I being penalized so harshly? None of this was listed on the website and it's so frustrating. I will NEVER book from this place.

We used cheap caribbean for our May trip to Mexico. The flights they confirmed were cancelled, they didn't even know. If my wife hadn't called the airline direct to check flight status we'd have showed up at the airport for a flight that didn't exist, and we had the confirmation documents from cheap caribbean confirming we were on a flight that didn't exist. If that's not bad enough, THIS HAPPENED TWICE!, on one trip, it's actually hilarious. We had two flight cancellations, they didn't tell us about. We had to take care of it ourself. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE, IT'S A SCAM. They are not a booking / travel agency. Once you pay, they do not watch your reservation for you or service your account. The explanation we were given is that the airlines do not inform them of flight cancellations. I laughed at that because every airline sends automated emails of flight changes. Just garbage...

Liars and thieves. I booked a trip in April 2022. Cheap Carib eat booked the trip with incorrect travel., via Spirit airlines, starting at an incorrect location. I rebooked through Southwestern and paid over $2500. I did this because Cheap Caribbean promised I would have the credit available which was good for a year. In September I called to use the credit. Cheap Caribbean advised me I needed to contact Spirit airlines for the refund. Spirit Air informed me they had credited Cheap Caribbean on their MasterCard account. Cheap Caribbean then informed me the credit was only good for 60 days. They infuriated me with the lies and utter disregard. Horrible.

We booked the hotel and transportation. When we arrived to Cancun we were refused to get a transportation which we paid for. Instead of that the Amstar representative got us in a car where we paid $100 for 20 min drive and we were refused to get any confirmation of the payment. And the driver accepted only cash! I called the Cheap Caribbean customer service next day and spent more than 2 hours on a phone trying to solve the problem. Still no money, no transportation! Scam! I have confirmation of my prepaid transportation and can provide it as a proof.

I traveled to Cancun in January (2022) and both the flight to and from there was canceled last minute. I had to purchase airline tickets from another airline (which were double the amount I originally paid through Cheap Caribbean) or be stranded at the airport. I have called and emailed and also spoke to the online 'Chat' for Cheap Caribbean on numerous occasions. I either get no response or told that the airline has not refunded Cheap Caribbean, so I have to wait for my refund. I think this is crazy. I purchased the original tickets from Cheap Caribbean directly, not from the airline. Should not be my problem if they have to chase their money to get their own refund. My trip was great otherwise and I would have used Cheap Caribbean again if not for this problem. I will never use this company again.

Never ever book a vacation from cheap caribbean. Their service and customer service is garbage. They never help with anything. And charge you many hidden fees and panelty if you have to reschedule or cancel. And they dont even have a more options for the flights. And also their rates are so high compare to others. My email is *******@gmail.com if anyone have any questions ever in a future. Spend 100 extra but go with a good company. Like a sunwings, expedia... they are most reliable. From me its zero rating company.

My card was charged twice for my vacation that we had to cancel originally due to Covid. We rebooked and they were only supposed to charge $75 which was the difference with new insurance and hotel charge. After 2.5 weeks and 3 hours on hold and trying to talk to someone to get my money back there is NO progress! $1450 charged twice is UNACCEPTABLE! I will NEVER book with them again. Half of the time it is hard to understand them which made the process even worse.

Booked through cheap carribesn. Grand sirinas riviera maya. Hotel horrible smell made is sick we had to leave. Rotting smell all over. Called cheap carribean. No help. Stranded in Mexico no where to go. They abandoned us.

On Saturday 10/9 around 11pm I booked a trip to Cancun leaving 10/29/21 until 11/05/21 & paid around $1800. Well, next morning, realized I was unable to go due to not having a passport ( my mistake). So I cancelled the trip next morning and was so upset after reading the reviews that I wouldn't receive a refund. However, I called ( wait time was an hour ish) and they had no problem refunding. They told me 8-10 days. I was still so worried so I live chatted 3 times to confirm I'd be getting a refund and I was told 14-21 business day. Sometimes up to 45 days. I was stressed out. But I knew I just had to wait. However on 10/14 I checked my account, and my full refund was in there, I am pleased and my opinion changed around. Refund took 4 business days.

I am very disappointed with they services. We booked a trip with them in 2019 before Covid situation and we had to postpone due pandemic. When we are trying to use our credit to book a trip now there are are so many issues. They are not booking my trip. It's been a week with them with calling everyday and staying on the phones for hours. It looks like scam! To me. Stay away from them and NEVER BOOK ANY TRIP FROM THEM. I am planning to sue them or file a complaint with Better business buero. 6 k is alot of money to loose! It'd hard earned money. So much agony and frustration I have to go through.

The worst vacation and experience we have ever had. We booked a room with a double bed and ocean view, when we arrived at the resort in Cancun they informed us that they did not have rooms with a double bed and ocean view, it took us more than 3 hours to solve the problem, we were calling cheap caribian to See if they could help us but they never solved the problem, in the end they gave us a room and put a matress on us, at night it rained and our room flooded, they gave us another worse room and we kept insisting that cheap caribian help us But they never returned our call, not even to apologize, I recommend that you do not use this page because they are only interested in our money and never solve problems,

NEVER AGAIN!
Day before my 5k+ trip, I find out our flights were "cancelled". Apparently we were supposed to depart the June 28 even though all of our confirmation emails had said the 29th. Bunch of idiots. We called the numbers on the website - no longer in service. Called different numbers and asked for help - 4 different people hung up on us and said they didn't work for cheap carribbean. United airlines couldnt help us since it was booked through a third party. We cant even get airfare credit since it was a bundle package. Called CC and have been on hold for hours with no answer as to what happened. Lamest service people ever! Spread the word - horrible nightmare for a long desired trip. If you want to try and (maybe!) get help or talk to another idiot member: *******893

Fly was canceled And cheap Caribbean did not want to fix the booking dates with the hotel. Plus customer service fools on us they kept transferring us to supposedly to fix the problem I was on hold for 4 hrs they did not respond. Cheap Caribbean is a scam I'm not sure how USA let them make business.

Please be careful when you book with them.
They advertise free test COVID, 100$ if you enter your email on their site, and few others free stuff and when you get to the destination the hotel charges you!
If you call Cheap Caribbean they blame on the hotel policy and you end on paying what they promised you free

I just got back from Aruba which I booked through CheapCaribbean. It was easily the best vacation I've ever been on. The site walked me through my vacation step by step and I didn't have to spend a penny upon arrival in Aruba because I had already set everything up for it. On top of that I felt extremely safe during Covid and Cheap Caribbean helped me by letting me know about travel restrictions and requirements during the pandemic. I highly recommend to people who like being organized. Just make sure to read through the site thoroughly so you don't get charged extra by airlines when traveling! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

I located a flight for my other half due to travel plans changing. I knew this was a possibility and that's why I spent 130 dollars to have the travel flexibility via American Airlines. I looked up different options for her flight change on THEIR WEBSITE as if I were booking the trip again and saw the flight she needed was available. So I call customer service and they telling me a BOLD FACE LIE saying that no such flight exists. So we call back TWO more times and each time the flights are different of which ones to switch to. Finally the last call the flight we were looking for magically pops up in their system and instead of switching for the NO FEE they charge us 200 plus the 79 dollar difference of the flight. American Airlines does not back their own travel flexibility plans when it comes to SCAM Websites like these. THE PICTURES REPRESENTS THE FLIGHT THEY KEPT SAYING WAS UNAVAILABLE, THEM BECAME MAGICALLY AVAILABLE AT A 279 Dollar fee

I booked a trip and I had insurance on my trip in 2020. Then they canceled my trip due to covid. They told me I had until December 2021 to go. I still wasn't comfortable going out of the country due to covid but I was forced to book a new trip. If not I would loose my money. When I tried to book they told me I had lost half of my money, my flight, excursions and my transportation money. They said all I had was 400 dollars to put towards a new booking. I am so upset they took my hard working money and my didn't get to go on my trip. This is not right!

This company is horrible and spirit is also I booked thru this company and I went to go to my the airport to check my bags to find out I couldn't board my plane due to the gates being closed and cheap caribean keeps giving me the run around I just want a refund of my trip! And they did hang up on me multiple times

I booked a trip pre covid for a bachelorette. I couldn't make the new trip and was told that I did take it and that there were no credits to my name. I was told I could not get refunded and that I had no credits even though I paid over 1,000 dollars and never took a trip. Complete robbery.

I gave it 5, I know some of you won't be agreeing with me,
But keep this in mind, nobody can make happy everybody, us, the people who is booking thru any apps or websites, when you do it, do your homework, also do the best out of it wherever you go, look at the bright side and enjoy the place you booked, nobody's perfect so don't expect to be perfect. This is my second time using this site and... do they have flaws, YES, they do,but don't we all have it?
My start are based on my experience with booking a vacation, my wife didn't check correctly the dates on her passport and I haven't got travel insurance protection, so I had to call the customer service and see what they can do for me, and guess what, the 1st time I did had to deal with a guy who didn't care what happened or wanted to listen to my problems and needs, but hey, I gave it another try out a few days later on and I did found a very nice lady that had the willingness and patience to help me and to listen to my problems and needs, and YES, she did helped me out. But also try to keep in mind that US as of clients must be nice with them and find a common ground and work it out. I think I said way to much, but this is my honest opinion.

Customer Service is horrible. Rude, won't provide any information for hotel. I've called in multiple times to request a certain floor. The hold times are insane 60 mins plus.
