Garbage business, said my package was going to be late after I ordered it. They originally quoted like 1 week late. Did not arrive and I reached out to customer service after a month. Customer service said someone would be in touch with me about the status. No further contact from company. I then finally received my package a month later...
Garbage nonsense, can't believe you get away with running a company like this.
I asked for Canada Post as my form of delivery as they have access to my building. Unfortunately FedEx delivered instead and since they had no access they redirected the contacts to a facility about 45 minute drive from my residence. I do not drive and I live on a fixed income. I was fortunate to have found a ride after two weeks and was lucky enough they didn't send them back. Please use Canada Post in the future.

It was great. The glasses fit perfectly. The instructions were a little overwhelming at first but it's because we knew nothing about ordering glasses. However with the help of the agents, all turned out excellent. Thank you. We are very satisfied. We had to return the first pair because we entered the numbers wrong. After some great coaching from the team at Clearly, the second pair was just perfect. We will order more soon.
Experience was good but I find that I'm going to have to return both pairs.
I find that the R/x is not agreeing with my eyes. And the glasses slip off my nose.
I've been getting chemotherapy since August and am slow on getting things done in between treatments. Hopefully I still have time.
I've always been very happy with my glasses ordered from you but I won't be able to reorder until sometime in the new year!
I purchased my first contacts ever from Clearly and attached them to my wife's order. The contacts were delayed but eventually did arrive.
My wife's contacts are excellent as always.
My multifocal lenses don't seem to help my vision at all. I still need to wear my glasses with the contacts in as they don't appear to have any correction. I did reach out via email to explain my concern but as of yet haven't heard back from anyone. It has been several weeks now and I have lost confidence in the product.

I have dealt with clearly contacts for many years now. I would highly recommend their service to anyone. I subscribe on a monthly basis and all product arrives in a timely way and have never had any issues whatsoever.

Ordered contact lenses, which were better priced than the optometrist's. I like the email communication when you place an order and when you are expected to receive. Arrived on time and was very happy with the transaction. No fuss!
I purchased my new glasses completely unsure and apprehensive about what to expect. They showed up quickly and are the correct prescription. The frames need an adjustment, and I haven't gotten to it yet so I'm not wearing them. But overall I'm happy with the experience, impressed with the value, and will definitely shop again!

Poor quality glasses as others have indicated and be ready for a hassle to return. Not exactly the no questions asked policy they state. I had asked to exchange however they wanted money up front for new glasses and promised a refund later... I asked why wait until they receive the returned glasses and use that as a credit and they said "that's not our policy". Very abrupt and aggressive customer service. Will never buy from them again.
I just received my second pair. They both arrived earlier then expected. Looked at other online glass "shops" they were all way more. I had to call to cancel second pair (my fault) customer service was great she even offered to help me find a pair with metal frames. I am going to look for a pair of sunglasses now.
I went into the Vancouver retail location on Robson and was treated very well, sized and fitted my glasses, and completed the order in an efficient and pleasant manner. However, when I received the glasses that fit so well in the store, they were really loose on my face - almost like different frames. I went to the store to have them tightened but it only lasted for a couple of days. Now they're even looser than when the arrived and continually fall off of my face. So while the customer experience was good, the result was not
I was initially very happy when my sunglasses arrived. I had never had progressive sunglasses before and my vison was great. The glasses seemed a bit light and flimsy when I received them but I only use them for driving and thought it was just a light weight frame not realizing it was of dollar store quality. Recently they were damaged beyond repair after a minor incident. I have had them for just over 2 months and after repeated contact, Cleary will not stand behind the poor quality of the frame. I have since filed a claim with my credit card. I have ordered from other online eyewear providers that had much better customer service and a focus on a quality product. If you are going to take a chance and order online, DON'T do it with Clearly. Many other better options out there. I even offered to keep teh lenses and have teh frames replaced and they would not. Help. BEWARE

I have been a client for many years now and your product is almost always exactly what I need. However over the years I have had the odd contact lens that seems to be faulty and will have a blurry spot that I have to just throw away and put in a new one. Has this happened to other clients as well? Even with the odd lens having an issue I am still thrilled with your prices, fast shipping and quality.
Got my new sunglasses and glasses! I feel like something may be off with them as I feel a little loopy/un even wearing them but it's only for short periods of time and they are my BACK UP glasses. Quality seems fine, it was super quick shipping and great prices.

I bought these glasses during the 40% off lens upgrade sale. This is my second time buying from clearly and the additional cost of upgrade (upgraded to the highest one with blue light protection) is totally worth it. The lens are super thin and look great. The frames like last time came fitting poorly to me. The ear piece needs to be adjusted to my head like all new glasses and I just haven't gotten the nerve to go to a store to get them fixed so for more I just try not to look down otherwise the glasses slide off. But the glasses came as advertised (the ear piece problem is a given and just needs to go in store to adjust) and I am happy with my purchase.
I ordered my glasses, which were wonderful. But unfortunately I had to take them to my local eye doctor and have new lenses put in them. The prescription was correct buy where my pupil lined up with my progressives was not, so I felt sick after wearing them for 2 minutes or more. I would have returned them but I couldn't wait that long, I really needed them ASAP.

When ordering progressives online for the first time, it can sometimes require a customization of the lenses to make sure the prescription is perfectly aligned for you: we use the Pupillary Distance (PD) to align it horizontally, and Segment Height (SH) to align it vertically. Every-time I try to order contacts from Clearly there is at least an hour hassle trying to get them to price match. When they finally do they place ridiculous restrictions on the size of your order, how often they will let your price match and the dollar amount they will allow you to order. It's always an argument and they want constant proof complaining that their website to match prices isn't the same as yours. Requesting, screen shots etc. Even with proof of chat from another competing company, they claim that the amount isn't the same as their screen. Total hassle, shop elsewhere. They used to be much easier to do business with.
The contacts came quickly and seem to be the usual kind that I get. However, I have had severe eye pain following using one pair. I threw out the pair thinking it was just that set and tried a new pair from the same box and am still having problems. Not sure what's wrong with the contacts but am very disappointed :(

Great experience. Very helpful and attentive. My eye exam was tops and the doctor did extra procedures that no other doctor did before. Very thorough. The one thing I have noted to them, with a trip back in after buying online, was that one set has a arm style that is quite sharp. Most of my glasses have a smooth tapered end, while these had no bevel. Resulting in the arms creating a sore on the inside of the ear closest to the head. They did adjust them but the pain is still there with the rubbing. I don't think online there is an option for what type of arms they are, before buying.

Answer: Hi Dan - what you're seeing is the pre-authorization hold being taken and released so we can actually take the payment upon shipping out. On a regular credit card this is pretty invisible (a pending payment becomes an actual charge), but because the only way to apply a pre-authorized hold of funds on a credit-debit is to have the processor remove them from the bank balance and hold them between your account and Clearly's, it looks more like a charge, refund, charge. In either case, Clearly only receives the funds the one time once the order ships out!

If the prescription is correct, one more piece of information you want to verify is the PD (Pupillary Distance), as it is not always showing on the prescription. If it is not, and the PD is showing 63mm (or 31.5/31.5) on our receipt, this means the PD by default may have been entered when placing the order. This measurement is important as it allows us to cut and place the lenses in the frame in order for your eyes to focus right at the middle of the lens, to ensure comfortable and perfect vision. If the PD was incorrect, or if you're experiencing eye strain despite a correct PD, please contact our customer service team at 1-866-414-2326, or via chat or email through our website with your order information.
